$300/week25 year old man

Hey folks, I'm looking to team up with one or two other people to set up a new home together! 😌 [Teamups only, please do not message me with offers of a room you need filled] I'd like to set up a place for a year or two so I can actually settle down a bit during my studies and not have to keep moving around, and to make a place really feel like a home. (Suburbs are flexible, I'd rather not be more than 40min from Swinburne Uni though!) I'm currently studying Film at Swinburne University, and work in Disability Support (WFH). My hobbies mostly revolve around seeing friends, getting outside but also creativity and entertainment media - I love the world of movies, games, anime, museums and galleries, and I never stop making my own things in my spare time! (Always happy to try new things though!) I often keep to myself, so I'm okay with a less sociable household- but I would love to live with some folks who I can occasionally hang out with- having friends as hosuemates makes for a great, cosy vibe! (Game/movie nights are fantastic - I'd love to FINALLLY start using my board game collection. 😭) That said, if you just need a housemate to simply coexist with peacefully (this economy, right?) that's fine too. As long as we get along. 😌 I'm not great at writing bios, but please feel free to reach out if you have any questions not answered here!!! I'd much prefer to meet up over video call or over coffee, as I find it to be far more organic and easier to establish how we flow together. :) I'm looking to move out any time between late May and late August, preferably sooner but happy to wait for the right people. Lemme know if you think we'll vibe! :) -Dureece

Hi, I'm Eve and I'm looking for an unfurnished room close to Swinburne. Until recently I worked in mental health but had to quit my job and move to my 83 year old fathers rental in country Victoria and help him get into some suported accommodation and clean up his old property. His house had been condemned and so he was evicted after 20 years in the same property. I had to help liase with services to get him into some appropriate accommodation. He (after 6 months) is now sorted and now I need to find somewhere for myself. I'm on DSP and have a place at Swinburne to complete my Certificate 4 in August. I intend to RPL what I can from my work experience in the industry. I may be able to get some part-time work without the qualifications anyway because of my experience. I'm single, I don't smoke, dont have pets and have no children and all of these things are by choice. I like my privacy but I'm not anti social. I'm happy to live with rainbow community but am mostly cis/het, I just don't date. I have other more important things to get done. I'm a bit of an old goth and like a variety of books, film, music and entertainment. I don't go out much because my health is complex. I try to get walking, yoga and swimming into my routine as much as possible. I like a clean house, quiet and living with people who have good boundaries and a good sense of humour. Knowledge of Terry Pratchett novels is a bonus. I've been told Im an excellent housemate and that it's rare to find people as reliable as me. I guess I just like to pay things on time ( or early) because outstanding bills make me uncomfortable. My study will be 12 months part-time and while I study, work will be minimal but I will have placement. Once that's finished I'll be looking for about 20 hours per week work possibly more depending on the circumstances. For fun I like to go to see live music, dance, dine out, see local performing arts, read, see comedy, go to the Planetarium or Scienceworks or just go hang out with friends. I go to the cinema if the film it's worthy (Like Dune 2) and I want to learn to play minecraft so my friends son can kick my butt at it. I don't party because sleep is better. Looking for a housemate of a similar generation but age is flexible because maturity is not the same thing as age. Hope to hear from you and if not, I hope you find a good match.

$265/week27 year old woman

Hello! I'm a 27 year old Korean Aussie looking for a room in an all female sharehouse or 1- 2 women to team up with for a place in the eastern suburbs. I work as a casual disability support worker for NDIS participants, and have an online plant business that I started a few months ago. I'm also looking for part time work in mental health support, community services and a few different roles in the NFP sector. I've lived in share houses for about 9 years, and on my own for the past year. I enjoy sports (particularly badminton and brazilian jiu jitsu), cooking, boardgames, comedies such as The Office US and Frasier, learning about psychology, thinking of fun would you rather questions, and finding vintage gems at op shops 😊 My Myers Briggs personality type is ENFPT. I'm friendly, creative, easygoing, considerate and responsible. I love trying new things and have a long bucketlist that keeps getting longer 😂 I value connecting with people, humour and laughter, a peaceful, fun and positive living environment, and kind and honest communication. I'd love to find a place where I can live with women who share similar interests and values, who enjoy sharing meals and spending time together occasionally and have a little veggie garden. I have most shared furniture and appliances, and I'm hoping to be able to use them (or have space to store them). I don't have any pets, but I love animals! I'm looking for something long term (at least 12 months, but ideally longer). If you think we'd be a good fit, shoot me a message! :D
