$250/week•38 year old man
Hey there! I’m Izzy, a 38-year-old airline employee moving from Melbourne to Brisbane and looking for a nice room to call home. I’ll be working full-time at Brisbane Airport with a mix of afternoon and night shifts every other week. Most mornings, I’ll be catching up on sleep, so you probably won’t see much of me around the house.
I'm not a smoker (honestly, I wouldn’t even know how to work it out — and it’s probably better that way, haha). I enjoy a drink on my days off, but I’m definitely not a big party person. I’m all about that quiet downtime, though I’m chill and easygoing around others too — not antisocial, just balanced.
Bills and rent are always paid on time (usually even before the due date). I cook occasionally when time allows, but I prefer places without heavy food smells, particularly strong curry scents. Cleanliness and respect for shared spaces are important to me.
I don’t need a completely silent place — a bit of normal living noise is totally fine. I'm definitely not a light sleeper (I can sleep through a hurricane as long as it’s safe, haha). That said, I’m not looking to live next door to a DJ playing with their organs 24/7! 😄
What I’m Looking For:
A private room (ideally with an ensuite)
Budget: around $250/week, depending on the location
Ideally somewhere with easy access to Brisbane Airport — doesn’t need to be super close, just around a 20–25 minute drive is perfect.
Off-street parking would be a big plus!
If the place has central air conditioning, that would be amazing.
A clean, peaceful home with tidy and respectful housemates
Ideally, I’d like to move in around the end of May, but I can be flexible if needed. If you’ve got a spot that sounds like a good fit, hit me up with what you've got! I come with my own bedroom furniture and a good vibe. 😄
Looking forward to finding a comfy, chill place to call home — and if you think I might be a good fit, don’t be shy, hit me up! Let’s make it a win-win. 😄
