Hello, I have just returned to Melbourne after about ten yrs interstate. I'm still in the middle of job apps and interviews (mostly banking industry, CBD, full time) so looking for a short term stay - between 1-4 months perhaps - while i get settled back into work and melbourne life. I would be able to commit to longer stays once I know where I'm working and whether there are WFH requirements, as I understand WFH doesn't suit every household. Furnished room would be preferred, but could work around this. I'm pretty easy going, but am a reliable, quiet and clean flatmate. I enjoy cooking and gardening, always up for after-work chats or beers, but really not after a party house. Non-smoker, and only very occasional drinker. I'm also a cat-lover - I lost my little mate not so long ago, so will be very happy to dote on any friendly household cats.

Hi, I’m Shubham (35), full time consulting professional with a soft spot for conversations that go beyond " how was your day ? " Recently moved from Sydney to Melbourne and on the lookout for a place that feels more like home and less like a Wi-Fi zone with rent 😄. I keep a healthy balance between being social, going out, and embracing solitude with a book, a hike or the occasional existential podcast. I’m easygoing, clean, considerate, and calm, happy to chat over dinner or retreat into my own world when needed -basically the kind of housemate who knows when to chat and when to chill. Outside of work, I split my time between sport (cricket, soccer, golf), being social, exploreing the city and its lively pub bar and food scene, cooking experiments that usually succeed, reading history, philosophy, or why humans do the curious things we do or plotting my next weekend escape. Big fan of travel, films, music, cricket, and a well-curated Spotify queue. Well-travelled, well-read, house-trained, and always down for thoughtful conversation or shared silence. If you're after someone who’s grounded, curious, and can contribute more than just rent to a home’s vibe, we’ll get just fine :)

Hi, I’m from the Gold Coast and have a background in Business & Marketing from Bond University. I currently work full-time as a Data Analyst in tech (so, a bit of a nerd). My job keeps me busy, but I like to stay active and social in my downtime. I’ll be heading to Melbourne for work, and I’m generally a tidy and easygoing person. My main hobbies include hitting the gym, playing soccer, gaming, and occasionally surfing. I enjoy meeting new people and having a good time, but I also respect personal space and know when to keep to myself.

Hello to my future flatmate/s! I moved from Wellington, Aotearoa/New Zealand last year and quickly settled into life in Melbourne. I am however still on the hunt for a calm place to call home, as my current landlord is selling the home I'm in (no rush on moving us out though) I like to think of myself as creative so enjoy hobbies like knitting, singing, dungeons & dragons, pole dancing and op-shopping. I like to relax after work by cooking up some yummy food, getting out into nature as much as possible, listening to podcasts or music while I potter about home (happy to wear earphones!!) and catching up with flatmates or friends about our lives. Looking for others that are compatible in that they also prioritise keeping things quiet and being considerate of noise. Keeping regular hours (9am - 5pm) with work/study so a routine that is similar to mine - Cooking dinner at 7pm and in bed by 10pm as an example. Cycling is my main form of transport so location is important for me, ideally a place that has secure storage for bikes, or bikes are allowed inside at night. My key values are kindness, being considerate of others, staying socially and environmentally aware. If you're also someone who understands how to recycle then I'd love to meet up! Overall I'm interested in likeminded adults who want to form genuine connections and not just be ships in the night. Let me know if I sound like someone you'd want to live with!
