Hello there! If you're after a housemate who's tidy, respectful, and practically lives at their computer, I'm your guy. I am fairly social in my own introverted way, so if we have similar interests, I'd be keen to hang out. Some of my interests and hobbies: - Game development 💻✨ - Digital art and animation 🎨🖌️ - Video games, mainly Nintendo stuff 🎮 - Japan! I used to work there, and it's such a great place 🇯🇵🍣🗻 Looking to move somewhere in Sydney, but I'm pretty flexible about location. Ideally somewhere quiet and laid back. If it sounds like we'd get along, feel free to get in touch. Bonus points if you include a fox emoji in your message so I know you actually read my profile. HOUSE/ROOM REQUIREMENTS: I need enough space for both a double bed and a work desk. If it's just one bedroom, then realistically I'd need a room with one wall at least 3.4m long to make that work, depending on the room layout. My livelihood depends on having a proper computer setup, so this isn't something I can work around. I'm sensitive to noise. I need to be able to sleep at night, and focus during the day. Bird noise, traffic, and being close to train lines are all things I'm wary of. Aircon is important, even if it's just in the living room. I'd hesitate to rent a place without it. I play a lot of console games, so having a decent couch + TV setup in the living room is pretty important to me. I wouldn't use it all the time, but I'd want it to be available if I have friends over. I'd like to have some influence on the shared living spaces. I have plenty of my own stuff, and some of it that I'd like to be able to display (and consoles to setup near the TV). I don't want to live somewhere where all the changes I suggest get vetoed, or the shared spaces are being used as someone else's work study... HOUSEMATE EXPECTATIONS: As a baseline: I clean up after myself, I'm not noisy, I contribute to chores around the house, and if there are any issues, I can talk them out like an adult. It's basic stuff, but I'd expect the same from the people I'm living with. I really value people who are friendly, helpful and generally keen to do stuff, even if it's just having tea and catching up every now and then. I'd feel weird living with people I never interact with. There are a lot of people on here just looking for someone to pay rent and stay out of their lives, and honestly I think that's super lame.
