Hi! I've lived in Canberra for two years and I'm looking for a place close to civic. I have recently graduated with a Masters' from ANU and will be starting work soon. Right now, I'm a research intern at a think tank and work part-time hours. During my free time, I enjoy yoga, climbing, and a good chat. I am clean, tidy and respectful. Would love to share a space with someone who cherishes similar values. Looking for a share house and/or potential team-ups. ps: Moving date and the limit on people I'd like to share a house with are flexible Thank you x
I am a fun and energetic teen, Enjoying any sorts of physical activity aswell as staying inside and playing video games, cooking or watching anime, I am a fulltime Apprentice carpenter moving from down the south Coast (Moruya) to begin my new Job.
Hi I'm looking to share share short term from Jan 6 to March 31 with a possible extension to June and hopefully, beyond. I'm an APS worker and I've been spending my weekends chillin' and checking out Canberra's art scene. I like it here! There's so much on! The basic stuff: My budget is 250-300per week ex-bill's. I'm happy to share an apartment with one person or a house with two. Please only message me if your listing is within the suburbs I've specified, Cheers. Other good stuff: I'm not a party person and tend to keep quiet and friendly around the home. I'm a second-hand book store and tea-chat kind of person. I also like walks and overgrown gardens. I'm tidy and will keep the house fresh and clean. I am a Queensland ring-in so this chilly spring weather has been a surprise! I will happily have a preemptive chat with you about heating and elect bills in case I'm around long enough to need it next year. One other thing: if you happen to be offering a) town a house b) a ground floor unit b) anywhere that's pet friendly and you've always dreamt of sharing your pad a handsome house panther...I know a guy. Cheers, Rose
Hey there, I’m a full time student at the University of Canberra (Teaching) and I’m on the last leg of it! I also work in school aged care which has been working every weekday afternoon. I’ve very independent and considerate of people I live with. I don’t smoke, I rarely go out, I don’t really drink much but I enjoy a glass or few here and there. I do enjoy doing thing together with housemates and socialising but happy to respect space and privacy. I am also a crazy plant lady (I’m working on that) so I may come along with a few plants (im restricting myself, I promise!).
Hello :) My name is Manjari, originally from Melbourne, and I currently work full time in the Public Service. I'm more than happy to answer any questions, you might have. Regards, Michael

Hello! I am currently studying at the ANU (doing Masters in Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development). I also work as an English tutor for primary school kids. I have been in Canberra for about a year, after moving from Sydney. I'm originally from the Riverina. When I'm not panic-writing essays, I love being social, getting to know new people, cracking classic jokes and cooking up a storm. I also love hiding away in my room to watch something classy (example: Dancing Queens, Peep Show, 30 Rock, Incredibles 2 or conspiracy theory videos on YouTube). I'm pretty easy going in sharehouse, having lived in a couple over the years.I'm a tidy and respectful housemate - I don't mind cleaning. I think my hobbies would be cooking/eating, occasionally painting, reading and writing. I am looking for like-minded people. I would love to find a comfortable and relaxed home to come back to.
Hi future housemate! I'm Nick, I'm moving to Canberra to start a Masters at ANU in Philosophy. I'm generally pretty chilled around home - like to read, cook, watch movies and and hike in my down time. I've done a fair bit of travel in Australia and overseas, like a drink every now and again, love good company but also value my time alone. I've also lived in sharehouses for a while now so I know the drill and keep things pretty tidy! I've been living in Melbourne the past few years but I'm up in Sydney visiting family at the moment. Keen to come to Canberra to meet people and have a look at rooms between 20-22 Dec, and then staying in Canberra from the 2nd Jan. Otherwise I'm happy to chat over skype or the phone and a friend of mine has very generously offered to pop round to look at houses for me! Send along any questions you've got for me - looking forward to meeting you :)
Both myself and partner are looking for a place in Canberra to share potentially with one other person or couple. I am working in IT and studying. Michelle will be working 2 jobs and will be doing some study when she can. We're both pretty quiet people, enjoy getting outdoors and adventuring when we have any spare time. Usually, one of us will be working or studying. We are both easy going people and looking to move pretty much asap! we have some furnishing if needed, we've both been living together for the past 18 months. Ideally, We are chasing a place that has a bathroom/ensuite if possible. Thank you! Happy for you to swing me a txt to chat
Hi! I am moving to Canberra and I will be working full time in the public service next year. I am friendly and easy to get along with. I enjoy cooking and will always clean up after myself. I enjoy my own time and I am also happy to socialize after work and on the weekends. I enjoy going running and doing yoga.
Hi! I am from Melbourne and moving to Canberra in February 2019 for a full-time graduate job at ANU. I am looking for a room to rent or people to share a place with. I enjoy swimming, binging Netflix and relaxing with friends. I like to go out with my friends and have a good time but mainly love to stay in and have a quiet night at home. I am open to sharing meals together and having a friendly roommate environment. I'll never say no to a chat! I'm happy to share chores around the house and keep communal spaces clean and tidy.
I'm an easy going guy who is new to Canberra. Coming from Perth after just graduating from Uni to work as an IT Analyst. I'm definitely more of a "let's have a night in" kinda guy. I enjoy chill nights watching Netflix and playing video games but I am happy to go out every so often to see what Canberra has to offer! I'm an absolute sucker for good food, especially when it's takeaway but I'll be trying to cook more to save money! I try to go to the gym a few times a week, but I'm not very good at motivating myself so having a gym buddy would be sweet as. I'm a bit of a tech nerd too (kinda why I'm working in IT) so if the WiFi goes down, I'm your guy. I'm looking for somewhere to stay (obviously) but I'm also looking to meet new people and to make some new friends! I'm aiming for a pretty chill group of people, not really after anyone who's going to be throwing house parties every weekend... The main thing I'm after is having my own room and bathroom, but my ideal place would also have easy access to public transport, parking for my car, fast internet and is close-ish to the shops and/or a gym. I've never lived with flatmates before but I'm genuinely keen to give it a try! Thanks!
I'm originally from Adelaide, but have recently decided to do the young professional thing and move to Canberra for a job in the legal services sector. I am very friendly, easy going and always in a good mood. Looking to ideally move in with people who are happy to have a chat and get to know someone new, and enjoy an occasional wine!
From the Gold Coast originally, I’m looking for a room to rent from Feb-Jul 2019 so I may complete my final semester of undergraduate studies at the ANU. Friends describe me as easygoing, quiet and respectful. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you can recommend a place to settle in or have any further questions. Thanks!
Located in the heart of Dickson, this newly built apartment is fully furnished, has a gym, private resident BBQ and courtyard area, underground secure parking and is only a 2 min walk away from Dickson bus interchange/Dickson light rail stop. All bills included in rent.
Hello I'm Jem! I'm 23 currently trying to make a move away from my hometown and begin a body piercing career. I'm quiet, honest, easy to talk to and very respectful. I also absolutely love meeting new people! I have full time work where I am now and have located many suitable jobs in the Canberra area! I know how to take care of myself and how to take care of a home, I have lived by myself for a year and out of home since I was 17, I am very clean and tidy and always willing to chip in with anything that needs to be done. I enjoy creative things, I love gardening reading writing and drawing but also love to binge watch stan and Netflix or weird documentaries with a cheeky glass of wine. I like cooking I don't know if I would call myself a good cook but I do make a killer potato bake I promise you that! I have a friendly calm 6 y.o cat who does his own thing, has never attacked scratched or bitten anyone ever, however he does not get along with other animals. I will very rarely have a cigarette maybe once a week but never in my life have i smoked inside a house and I never will, I'm on my way to completely stopping. I don't party I just want a nice place to call my own so i can work hard. I have all my own furniture and appliances so unfurnished is fine or I'm happy to bring along anything that might be needed.
Hey I’m Bek and I’m looking for a sweet sweet room preferably in North Canberra or belconnen. I am just starting my 3rd year at ANU studying Arts/Science and majoring in Archaeology 💀, Biological Anthropology 🐒 and Japanese language )^o^( . I also work part time at a cellar door/bistro just out of Canberra. I enjoy drinking copious amounts of green tea and buying too many plants🌱. I am an upstanding clean citizen of life, and also considerate of other people. I’m looking for a room $180 per week or less that is not located Southside Cheerio 🏋️♀️
Hey there, I am a 23 year old from Brisbane who is moving to Canberra in January to start a graduate Job. I like to think that I'm an easy-going guy - I love a chat, but I can also give you plenty of space if that's what you're after. I am tidy, respectful, and most importantly, I am punctual with my rent payments. I am pretty flexible on the rent period and the move date - so long as it's around mid-early January.
Originally from Nepal and lived in Melbourne for 8 years before moving to Canberra for studies. I'm a fun and outgoing person who likes conversations mild to wild, maybe not too wild. I'm curious about life and the world so I read quite a bit and can talk about most things. However I do keep to myself mostly, like a decent clean place and am respectful of others. I do like to cook at times and enjoy a good red wine or a chilled beer and whoever I'm sharing the place with - will get to sample my infamous Himalayan dumplings or momos as they are lovingly called.
