Hi, I am April. Recently moved to Canberra in August. I am currently renting a room in Lawson, but the owner needs their room back by the 20th of December. I work full-time for a Mental Health organisation and am a clean tidy quiet person. My partner still lives on the coast so every second weekend I head down the coast to see him. He sometimes visits me in Canberra. Not so much at the moment because he plays Cricket on Saturdays. I am looking for a share house with people who are easy to get a long with, enjoy conversation but also enjoy personal space. My job can be stressful so sometimes all I want to do is lay in bed and watch moves all weekend. If you feel I would suit your household, please message me.
Hi I'm Leilani, I'm 28 and a full time public servant working around the Barton area. I'm looking to share a place with anywhere up to 4 people to save money on living costs. Preference is to share a flat in the Barton/Kingston area, or a cheap house in inner north. Looking for people who are friendly, don't mind a chat, a drink on the weekend or a netflix binge, but also enjoy down time to chill and relax solo. I absolutely love pets, so no issues if you already have a cat/dog. I'm very easy going, quiet, friendly, clean and I drive to Sydney every month or so for the weekend. Happy to team up with anyone, but preferably 20s-30s age group. I do have some furniture I can bring with me including a couch/chair, fridge etc. I'll be looking to move around December/ January, if you're interested please contact me. Cheers :)
I'm a 30 year old professional. I have my own place in the outer north but I would like to move to somewhere close to the city. I'm a firefighter and a cabinetmaker on my days off. I also train a lot so I don't spend much time at home. I am also very social but I like my down time at home. I love meeting new people and get along with everyone well-meaning.
Hi! My name is Ingrid and I am very friendly and easy going 22-year old who is looking for a place to move into around late December/January. I am originally from Sydney but have been living in Canberra for a year now working full-time. When I am not working, I enjoy hiking/camping, going to a good market on weekends and a cheeky game of Scrabble :) I like to be social but also like to have down-time occasionally and respect people's privacy. I would ideally be looking for similar people to myself to form a house with for next year. Please feel free to message if this is something you would be interested in!
Hi! I'm Rose - a young working professional relocating to Canberra. Originally from Sydney, I enjoy hiking and going for runs so I'm super excited to move to Canberra. I also enjoy reading books, swimming, spending time with friends, meeting new people and learning as much as I can about economics. I’m planning to find a share house or rental (with other housemates or none) for 3-6 months during December mid 2020. Any area near the city centre is what I’m looking for!
Hi, I am a consultant and my company has asked me to relocate me from Brisbane to Canberra. I am looking for a housemate who enjoys good banter, great food and wine and a bit of dancing. During my downtime I am always up for anything that equals fun and adventure. I am tidy and respectful of other people's space and belongings. If this sounds ok to you let me know 🙂
I'm a 22 year old about to start my Masters in Neuroscience at ANU. I'm super easy going and adaptable, always down for a bit of a hang out but can also respect personal boundaries. I love cooking up a mean feed and I also enjoy winding down on the weekend with some drinks. When I don't need to study, my lazy days are spent watching Netflix, but my productive days will be spent going to talks and lectures or spending time outdoors. I'm also pretty tidy (ode to my mum who never stopped nagging haha). Hope to move in with someone like minded and chill, who I'm able to have casual chats with but will also respect personal space especially when coming home after a hectic day.
Hello! I am looking for a new place to live having recently moved from Brisbane earlier this year. I am clean, respectful and friendly and a full-time working professional in the APS. I enjoy sport, being outdoors, and of course a good wine and cheese night. I am looking for similar minded people who enjoy watching a movie together or going out to dinner, but also respects personal space. Looking to move in mid-late December (end of January at the latest)
Hi. I am a professional, work full time as a management consultant, with the majority of my current clients and business network are based in around the city. I am an engineer and economic analyst by qualification and previously worked with some consulting businesses and with the ANU in Canberra. Now I am looking for a rental (shared) property close to the city. I lived, studied and worked many years in Holland, Japan and Indonesia, which include living 9 years in shared properties in Holland. I am a sociable person, I enjoy making new friends but also respect the privacy of others. I am clean, do not smoke, love sports (badminton, volleyball and soccer), cycling, singing, playing guitar, beach and sea-fishing. I love dogs and cats, so no problems if there are dogs or cats in the property. At home and at work I am tidy and clean. I am also involved in a few social and business organisations in Canberra. I generally don't drink but for social occasions, I can enjoy good wine and beer. With a certain budget mentioned above, and long term, I would like to team up in a two-bedroom property/house/apartment. Otherwise getting a shared property from an existing tenant is fine too. I still prefer a two-bedroom property over a three-bedroom one. Ideally, the property has a covered car space or off-street car parking. For teaming up, I am looking for an unfurnished property. In my storage, I have stuff that can be shared (for free) for usage in the dining/lounge rooms such as a few couches, dining table and chairs, large TV, kitchen/cooking equipment, etc. You only need to bring your stuff to be put in your bedroom. If you think that we can team up, or you want to share your property, please let me know and send me a message.
Hi, I'm Harrison although most people call me Harry. I'm 24, currently living in Melbourne and moving the Canberra (ideally early December) as I start a job in the private sector in 2020. I'm an easy-going, social guy that enjoys having a quiet beer and a good conversation but I'm equally happy to just binge Netflix on the couch. I'd say I'm quite neat and I've lived with other people in the past and understand housemate etiquette. My main hobby is athletics, I'm a 400m runner, and I spend most of my afternoons either at the track or in the gym. I'm also into my music, with a small record collection and a couple of guitars. Looking for a team-up
Hey all! My name is Brianna, I’m a third year law/development studies student at ANU. Im really keen to move into a sharehouse in January for the year (+hopefully the rest of my degree!). Im really keen to move into a home rather than just a house! I am a tidy, respectful person who loves a good chat over a glass of wine and the occasional roommate outing (esp to the local farmers markets). I love being outdoors so when I’m not studying you’ll usually find me running/hiking somewhere in the ACT or down the coast relaxing. But I do work two jobs so there’s that too! Feel free to get in touch, would love to pop by and see what’s available.
