$400/week•45 year old woman
I am a 45 year old woman with chronic illness and can no longer work. I need a place to rent in Melbourne in order to receive medical treatment. I'm chatty but also like my own space. I'm a lefty with pretty diverse interests. I like to keep my room, as well as communal areas, clean and tidy. I also come with a very cute dog, Coco, who is a puggle (beagle x pug). She is 5 years old and loves people. She gets along with cats and dogs, but unfortunately chases birds and pocket pets. Coco assists me when I have functional seizures, so she is not negotiable.

I know a couple people in Melbourne but for the most part I've moved over completely blind so I'd like to ideally move in with some like minded people who I can hang out with and wouldn't mind showing me around

$215/week•30 year old gender diverse
My name is Elizabeth but I go by E, I'm a 30 year old afab person who is looking for a place to stay with my pets, a 1 year old border collie and Hahn's macaw/miniature macaw. I'm friendly but often rather quiet person. I like my space but I am still able to be social with those who want to socialise. I'm good at staying clean and tidy, particularly in communal areas. Bonus feature is I can identify most spiders and insects and can tell you if they're dangerous or not and am willing to remove them from inside the house. Not fond of killing them unless they're invasive or dangerous to attempt to relocate. I currently don't work because of disability but I am looking for future part time work from home or study opportunities. When home I spend a lot of time with my pets or doing one of my many quiet hobbies. Which include writing, reading, gaming and arts and crafts. About my pets: Border collie is named Aragon, he's 1 year old and super friendly. He didn't have the best start to life so has a few quirks but he is fully toilet trained, in active training to encourage wanted behaviours and he is very friendly towards people and other dogs but sometimes gets over excited and will jump which I'm working on training him out of. Hahn's macaw is named Zaiden, she is 4 years old and she is friendly but takes a while to warm up to other people and likely will only want to be on me but she will except treats from others and enjoys talking with other people. She spends most of her time in her cage unless I'm home and then I will let her out for exercise under constant supervision. She is toilet trained but if she has an accident I will clean it up and it won't leave a smell like other pet messes can. She's also provided with a wide range of toys to chew on and is constantly supervised when outside of her cage so I know she won't chew on anything she's not supposed to chew on. I'll take full responsibility for my pets and I will pay for or replace anything that is damaged by them, which is unlikely to happen since I have not hand any issues the whole time I've had them but I'm still stating this for others peace of mind.
