Hey I’m max I moved out of an abusive environment when I was 16 and never looked back, I really want to finish yr 12 at dickson colledge but won’t be able to unless I can find long term accommodation. I’m trying not to stress but i only have til the 23 to move out and nobody is replying which means I will end up homeless again. I was staying with some really nice people but they are moving out of state in two weeks so house has become unavailable, so as soon as a place is available I would move in immediately. I have a job at a wearhouse and work as much as I can. I’m a clean, consider others and hope you can look past the fact I’m 17.
I have been offered a new position in canberra for a duration of 18 months to 2 years. A little bit about me, I came to Australia since 7 years old, fluent in English, mandarin, cantonese, some vietnamese, and prefer to live with someone who can speak french as I am working for french company Thales, but I am a senior IT system engineer. I am active (into swimming and cycling), love music (jazz, pop and play guitar), also planning to join the army reserve to get fit. I love to watch stand up comedy. I am clean and easy adapt to most situation(s). I am sensitive to odour and looking flatmates who are responsible and respect the rule and privacy of others. I don't smoke but do drink occasionally (Red Wine if I am at home, beers if in a pub with friends). Please donot hesitate to contact me if you feel I am a good fit.
I'm super clean, pretty quiet, friendly and considerate around others. I work full-time plus an occasional shift in a casual job. I like to live a relatively healthy lifestyle and am outdoorsy. When I am home I enjoy the odd night sharing cheese, wine/cider and a meal with flatmates in front of a movie. I also like time to myself so I generally go with the flow with what others feel like doing at the time. I'm no big party animal and don't smoke. I value kindness and am flexible with length of stay and move in dates for the right place. I can also supply excellent references from past flatmates and landlords.
Hi, I have moved over from Perth to work in the APS as a grad. Looking for a place to call home. I’m very laid back and tidy, I am equally happy having my own time or having a glass of wine and a chat. Mostly found binging Netflix or playing video games. Always up for a brunch!
Hi. My name is Lucas, I'm 28 years old. I will be a French teacher at the international bilingual french school in Canberra. I am someone very quiet, who like to discover nature. I am usually working all the day, then do some sports in the evening and on the weekend, I would like to visit Australia. I don't really like big party. But I like to have fun with friends sometimes. I probably will rent a house near to the lake, 130m², very nice house. But I can't rent it alone. So I'm looking for someone interesting in. It will be 300€ per person per week. Or if you have a good offer to make... Let me know ! :)
The location of this property is perfect. On a huge block with a great backyard, which is perfect for chills and general relaxation, this property is a self-contained unit out the back with ample parking. The property has decent sized rooms and great proportions and although it's not the newest, the size and price are perfect for a public servant who works in proximity to Capital Hill or central agencies. The only downside is that the oven doesn't work, however, you're more than welcome to use the oven in the house! Please note that the hotplates do work and it has its own hot water system. It also has its own laundry and a decent bathroom. It's private, however, close enough that you don't have to feel isolated. In the house, you'll find three charming and funny people. Thomas, a dashing 24 year old public servant that works in Woden. Alice, a charming 24 year old public servant that works in Barton, and Aaron a dashing 23 year old non-public servant. Due to Alice's job, a roommate must be able to provide travel history. We enjoy having a barbeque with friends and leading a social lifestyle.
Hey! I'm a 29 year old professional from Brisbane working full-time in the city. I'm experienced in sharehouse living who has lived with all sorts of people. I'm very conscientious who expects the same in others. I'm always open for a good chat over a glass of wine but also respect the privacy of others. I like to keep a pretty healthy and active lifestyle but also love to veg out and watch a great movie. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
Hey I'm Sean, I have recently moved to Canberra to work in the public service. I am also currently half way through a Masters degree at university. I am an independent person and tidy person but am also up to have chat about stuff if you are interested. I'm usually a stay at home kind of person, but I keen to see more of Canberra and what it has to offer if it's with others.
Fun, tidy and easy-going, I'm a bit of a goofball, I love music, books, art and gardening. I'll talk with anyone about most anything. Grew up in rural NSW but have lived in Canberra for 2 years. I've been in many share houses over the years and I will always do my part when it comes to keeping the place clean and respecting the space of others. I appreciate good hygiene practices. I enjoy/need my quiet time and may have quiet days, but also love to sit around with a beer or glass of wine and have a chat. In my down time, I usually spend time in the garden, going for walks, or reading and I love heading out for a drink and a boogie occasionally. I am currently studying horticulture at the CIT. Looking to find either a room in an established house or teaming up with some people to form a new share house. Looking to live in the inner North or South of the city. I have a lot of furniture that I can bring along, as well as a pretty decent record collection. Flexible on move date, anytime from now. Have two cute kitties (Fernando and Harley) that I'd love to move with, but no hassle if not.
Hi! I'm Vin, I work fulltime at ANU, teaching and doing cool research on mutant plants! When I'm not working, I like to kick back with a wine or cider and a good conversation or some Netflix. My passions include teaching, cooking, dancing and being active. I also enjoy playing board games, trying out new brunch spots on the weekends and going on hikes/picnics. I am a very tidy person and value cleanliness. I am quite social and easy going, but also appreciate my space and privacy sometimes. If this sounds like your ideal housemate, please get in touch and we can arrange to meet for a coffee!
Hey guys! We have recently moved from Melbourne to Canberra and are looking for a more permanent place inner city. We both work full time, Mia is in retail and Alex is in real estate so we are both out of the house 9-5. Although we are young, we aren't party animals and prefer to stay in and watch a movie with some wine than to go out on the town. Alex plays football so he is gone most Saturdays and trains 3 night a week. We are both clean and tidy people and always make sure we don't leave a mess so would prefer to live with someone who cleans up after themselves too! We are incredibly easy to get along with and both pretty flexible with who and where we live. Please message us if you have a place!
My name is James, 27 year old high school teacher recently moved to Canberra for work and looking for a shared house. I'm a friendly, easy going guy and would like to live in a clean, respectful house with young professionals.
I am a professional working in IT as an analyst and programmer. I am quiet and appreciate my privacy, but also like to be social from time to time. I work long hours during the week and would like to share with a like minded person. As my home is interstate, I will be in Canberra every second weekend. I like to walk, go to the gym, attend music events and the cinema. I am looking for accommodation to share for 3 moths to a year.
I am trustworthy, quiet, respectful, clean and tidy. I work 6 days per week. I am relocating from Darwin to start a new job in Canberra. My family will be relocating at the end of June. I enjoy eating out, socialising on week ends, I enjoy a glass of red wine. I would like to take up mountain bike riding.
I am currently working part time in a liquor store and studying full time in Interior Design. I am looking for somewhere to live for roughly 2 years. I love to catch up over some wine and cheese or beer and wings! I want to go back packing around Asia after finishing my degree. Also I fancy myself a good cook. 👍 P.s. Because I’m in class or at work most of the time I can only be contacted via sms or message 🙂
I am a independent and neat 19 y/o girl who has just started work in the Public Service. I am easy to get along with and enjoy meeting new people and travelling. My passions are art, music, writing poetry and dancing - most things creative, really! I also have a knack for languages, having studied French and Latin at school and know some basic Italian having lived in Italy for two months working as an au pair. I am a mixture of extroverted and introverted... always up for a chat but also need my own downtime to refresh. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi potential housemate! I'm James and in 26 years old! I’m moving to Canberra from Melbourne after been relocated for work! Looking for a friendly clean and modern place in or around Canberra. My job is based in Woden but will be working all over Canberra so not too fussed where. I live a busy lifestyle and sometimes work long hours, i also travel sometimes for work. while at home, i am generally pretty quiet, keep to myself watch sport and Netflix but don't mind the occasional chat or drink either. Weekends are varied but i do always keep myself busy! An ideal housemate would be someone with equal values. Ive lived with Boys and Girls in the past and haven't had an issue with either.
My name is Rob, I am a young professional working full time in Barton I'm looking for a new place in the Inner North/Inner South - as my previous sharehouse has recently broken up up after a year and a half and the commute from Gungahlin is absolutely killing me! I'm tidy, reliable, have positive rental and credit history and also like to have fun from time to time. Looking to move out in March(ish) but pretty flexible with dates. More detail if you haven't hit 'x' already: - I've lived in share houses for two years and was on the lease at my previous place (full bond returned). Before that I lived in a residential hall at the ANU for three years. - As a housemate I'm low drama and tidy. I've lived with mixed houses and grew up with sisters so I am pretty well trained on all the dos and don'ts of bathroom and kitchen etiquette. - I'm pretty work focused during the week and travel more than occasionally on weekends - but happy to be social with my housemates and involve them in my social life and activities. - I love catching up with friends, reading, listening to music, catching the Rugby in winter, trying out new restaurants and bars, collecting records, writing, going to public lectures, plays, and films, jogging, hiking and camping. I also volunteer pretty actively. Very open to new interests as well! Hope to hear from you soon!
