Hi! I have a beautiful new place and looking for someone cool to live with me and one other girl in her late 20's. It has 4 bedrooms, and we have one to let and the 4th is a study/spare room. I like keeping a spare room for the occasional guest (yours welcome also) and have a study. The house is fully furnished, just need your own bedroom furniture. However there is a spare double bed in the room currently if need. You have a shared bathroom, newly renovated with one of us. My place has a nice big deck with BBQ and speakers perfect for entertaining. Has a big yard with new main bathroom & kitchen. It takes me 10-15min to get to work in city as right by the parkway. We are both laid back, very easy going. We both travel occasionally so will get your own space. Besides that I'm pretty active, Canberra local so always off doing something and seeing people. We are both pretty happy & social. Ontop of rent it would be split utilities and Internet (which is super fast) and we need the room back by Mid jan 2018. If your cool and laid back and think this is for you get in touch. Room avalible now till Jan!
Intern pharmacist looking for accommodation in south Canberra, starting in early January. I'm a relaxed bloke who enjoys mountain bike riding, hiking and photography. Always keen to socialize and I'm clean and respectful of other people's privacy :)
I'm a 27 year old public servant, currently on leave to complete a Master of Social Work but will be returning to full-time hours in January. I have a small dog (Mr Miyagi - a toy japanese spitz) and I am an occasional wildlife carer of pouched joeys. When I'm not taking my doggie for a walk, you'll find me either at the gym; watching Game of Thrones/Netflix; doing a touch of gardening, or baking cupcakes. I would love to share with someone who I could share the occasional movie with, and ideally become good friends. I am reasonably open to location given the right flatmate, but would prefer the south side.
Moving to Canberra for a graduate program in January 2018 - looking for an affordable room within easy distance from Department of Social Services. I am clean, but not a neat freak. I respect your space and like to have my space too, but definitely enjoy catching up with housemates! Have lived in share houses for a few years and could provide a reference if necessary. I like to watch TV shows (usually comedies), explore new areas like mountains and national parks, love the beach, will probably spend some weekends in Sydney with friends, and am hoping to up my cooking skills in the next year. I am not used to the cold at all (like any typical Queenslander) so wherever I move must have good heating systems, and heating in the bathrooms (i.e. heat lamps). I would prefer my own bathroom but this is not essential.
Hi, I am a single 30 year old mum. I have a 9 year old daughter who I have week on week off. We also have a beautiful well behaved, very well trained desexed female dog. I'm looking for something asap due to moving back to Canberra. I've been in Wagga for 6 months due to finishing my Assistant in Nursing. I'm very neat and tidy. Like a chat but also like my own time. I like gardening. BBQ and just relaxing!
So - a bit about me. I'm living in Sydney at the moment, having returned from some time overseas just under 2 years ago. I'm a mature, single female, I'm easy going and respectful of other's privacy and have great rental and professional/personal references. I am an Australian Citizen of UK birth. I am sociable, happy to share a glass of wine, and the occasional meal, but I'm not looking for a party house. If I do share (I'm also looking for a granny flat style accommodation) then I prefer to only share with one or two others at the most. I love living near nature, so a city house is not what I'm looking for. I have two very well behaved pets - a cat called Kitwe (who is a very lazy neutered boy, sleeping most of the day and night away) and a beautiful (small) border collie called Mr Finn. Both are rescues and I actually brought Mr Finn back with me from South Africa (my cat is Australian and went with me to SA and came home again). They are both neutered and I keep them well groomed and clean. I walk my dog for 2 hours a day so he is a relaxed dog and causes no problems. As you can tell I am very fond of my pets and take great care of them. They are clean, house-trained and my rental references for the last 7 years are for properties where they both lived with me.
Hi! I will be working at DHS and will be new to Canberra moving from New Zealand. I like to lift weights, explore new places (and photograph the crap out of them), play board games, watch movies and read. It would be great if we can be friends too as I will be needing some :/ Partial to a few social beers. Cheers.
Extra-large room in a lovely 3 bedroom home in Kambah. Share with one female and cat. Room can be fully furnished or unfurnished. Close to Tuggerannong Hyperdome, multiple bus routes and nature reserves. Lovely walking trails through Mount Arawang located just behind home, able to walk to the Murrumbidgee River which is great for swimming in Summer. Brand new oven has just been installed in the kitchen, and there is also a washing machine, fridge, freezer hills hoist and a large backyard. Gas and wood fire heating. Rent $150 per week (2 weeks bond and 2 weeks rent in advance) utilities bills and Internet bills to be shared equally between the 2 occupants in addition to rent. Cleaning products and toilet paper etc costs to share. Please call Lisa on for more info
Hi there, My name is Michelle, I am 24 years old, and I work as a nurse at The Canberra Hospital. I am friendly, considerate, neat, and a fairly quiet, reserved sort of person, who will always make it a priority to pay rent and utilities on time. I am not into loud partying or things like that, but do enjoy the occasional drink with friends. I have a 10-year-old small/medium dog named Roxy, who is the most perfect creature! She doesn’t shed, rarely barks, absolutely doesn’t bite, and I do have a rental reference specifically for her. I am quite flexible on the length of lease. Please let me know if you’d like to see a reference for either Roxy or myself. Thanks for your time!
Clean & tidy person. Friendly, mature person. Loves travelling & scuba diving. Happy to have a chat or remain quiet. Have a friendly dog who doesn't make a sound at nite. Must find a place as soon as possible.
Hi, I’m looking to relocate to ACT in 2018. I will be working as a nurse at Canberra Hospital, and, therefore, will be doing shift work. Currently working part-time in my hometown one hour away, but looking to relocate prior to commencing full-time work in February. I will be respectful of others privacy and property, and would appreciate the same in return. I’m an easy going, clean and quiet person. I would enjoy having some meals together with a flat mate, and generally living with someone I can have a chat with. Also willing to live on my own in a granny flat or 1 bedroom unit or studio.
Im a 22yo female student about to commence a 9 month radiography placement. Iam a clean and tidy person and considerate of others in shared living spaces. I am easy going, enjoy an active lifestyle and socialising with friends.
I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne to start work as a grad in the public service, looking for somewhere clean and relatively close to work. I mostly just read and watch movies at home, so I'll generally keep to myself, but do also enjoy a chat/drink (and not averse to a good party either if that's your thing). I'm a pretty tidy person, and a non-smoker.
I'm a young health professional from Sydney taking up a job in Canberra. I'm a responsible, tidy and easy going person. I enjoy playing tennis and love dogs :) Let me know if you have anything suitable!
I am relocating from Brisbane to Canberra for a grad program, and I am looking for a place to live for 6-12 months. I am a clean and tidy person who is happy to assist around the house, and I will be moving early February 2018. A little about me: - I am happy to live with pets - Non-smoker - My beverages of choice are whisky and beer on the odd weekend - Will be moving with some furniture - I enjoy the outdoors and 4WD - I am employed full-time
I'm a friendly, mature and responsible woman looking for one or more housemates. I don't actually have a place to rent out/share with others at this point - I'm just putting my feelers out to find potential housemates. I would like the company of a friendly housemate, but I'm not in a rush to move. I would rather wait and find the right person(s). Planning to stay in Canberra for 12-18 months, then move to Melbourne. I would prefer to pay between $150-200 per week, and live in an inner south or inner north suburb (e.g. Kingston, Yarralumla, Griffith, Lyneham, O'Connor). I would also be open to living somewhere in Queanbeyan. I'm very accepting and non-judgemental, as well as being queer/trans/ace friendly. I'd like to live with other LGBTI-friendly and open-minded people. My main interests are psychology, visual art and spirituality. I'm fairly quiet and often keep to myself, but enjoy chatting with housemates from time to time. I have a partner who visits but never sleeps over. I don't drink alcohol, smoke or party, so I would prefer to live with people who are similar in lifestyle to me. I want to live with people who have good communication skills, and can raise problems directly and honestly. I'm also a serious night owl, and would probably get along best with other people who stay up late. I'd prefer somewhere pet friendly as I do cat fostering, but it's not essential as I don't have any long-term pets. P.S. I'm not a vegetarian, and I do eat meat fairly regularly - just thought I'd mention this in case it's a dealbreaker for some people!
I have lived, worked and studied in more than 4 continents. Loved exploring every inch of the culture and history's of the countries I was residing in. Now working in a field that combines my passions and skills into one and I can make a significant difference in society. In my spare time, I am often hiking, riding my mountain bike, surfing or playing a round of golf. I like to meet new people and hear their unique adventures via a well-prepared curry. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Jack

I work a lot and dance Ballroom a lot too. I'm happy to engage as much or as little as preferred, and I'm pretty easily pleased with whatever comes my way. Not overly fussy on location. Send me a message if there's anything else you want to know.
I'm originally from Melbourne but have lived in Canberra for a couple years. Currently studying Actuarial Studies at ANU and working as a financial analyst. I'm super chill and very easy going. I'm a very social guy who loves playing sport and spending time outdoors. Will be happy to hangout with housemates from time to time and share a meal or have a drink. Also understand and value the importance of giving everyone their own personal space. I clean up after myself and will pull my fair share of the household chores.
We are a young couple, one of us is a student/part time worker and the other is in the APS. We are looking to move out of our parents' houses. We tend to keep to ourselves as we work, both day and night shifts however we are social on the rare occasion our schedules line up. We would prefer somewhere with our own kitchen/kitchenette as we are vegan and nut free. We both work and go to school in the city so, we are looking for something around that area (basically not Tuggeranong or Belconnen). Thanks for reading!
We are both ANU medical students with busy lives, who have been housemates for two years. We are respectful, quiet, communicative and great at sharing duties around the house. We'll stay out of your hair, but love the occasional housemate dinner. We have lots of experience living with people from all walks of life, and get along well with just about anyone. When we're not studying, Will likes acting and Phoebe enjoys a round of golf.
