TWO UNFURNISHED ROOMS AVAILABLE FROM NEXT WEEKEND. Monthly rent is $796.33 Bond is $796.33 This is a beautiful townhouse located in a quiet street close to shops and public transport. Newly renovated, this property boasts lots of cool features including Venetian shutters on every window, lots of natural light, a huge downstairs basement for storage (makes a good spare room in a pinch, but not ideal in winter), central aircon/heating and a dishwasher in the kitchen. There is also a lovely little courtyard out the back which is perfect for afternoon drinks on the weekend. This is not a party house, but occasional gatherings are fine. Both rooms unfurnished and are connected by a sliding door, which is easy to keep closed and private, or would be perfect for two friends looking to move in together. Utilities are quarterly and rent is paid monthly. Please tell me a little bit about yourself when applying, I am looking for two people to have moved in by February 1st.
Easy-going brewer from London. I'm tidy, personable and social, but I respect people's privacy. I'm just eager to meet people and work hard in an entirely new city. Been here for a week and ideally looking for somewhere in Footscray. Cheers!
Hello there, I used to live in Melbourne for about 12 years before I left to work overseas for the past 5 years. I have just got back to this wonderful city and now work part-time and remotely from home! I am 38 single male, a very easy going and open minded LGBTQ+ friendly, not very much into parties and stuff. I much prefer a quiet night at home binging on Netflix instead :) I can be a bit geeky and nerdy and a bit quiet at times but that is not to say I am a very friendly and approachable person! Bit of a neat freak and like to clean up after myself. I am currently looking for a place to rent for 6 months to a year while I settle back into Melbourne life and make some new friends in the process and also do some short travelling around Vic and Australia, in general, to explore more of this wonderful land and people.
I'm an engineer by trade working in environment for a mining company. Mostly office based in Southbank, but get out to site once in a while. Enjoy watching/playing sports & fitness, most weeknights spent in the gym! Enjoy going out for a drink and socialising. Quirks include a passion for 80's metal and an interest in chess. Other than that, mostly grown up in Melbourne and love it...pretty sure I'm going to die here! Mainly looking for someone I would get along with to share a place - this is more important to me than location or the place itself :)
Hi! I'm Aleisha, and I'm just starting my undergrad in Nursing & Midwifery at the St Albans Vic Uni campus. I'm looking preferably for a teamup, but if not just a room to rent close to campus to minimize commute. I am a very clean and tidy person and am looking for a home where everyone is responsible and cleans up their own messes! I'm relatively quiet- I like to have a friend or two over l, but usually just to cook dinner and watch Netflix. I love to socialise and hang out, but not much of a party animal! Drug/smoke free. I'm working part time as a nanny outside of my studies. I like cooking (and will happily let housemates taste-test my recipes!), traveling, gym, running and spending time with my friends. Born and raised in the far South-Eastern suburbs so wouldn't mind a housemate kind enough to help me get to know the new area!
Hello folks, I am Gautham, 33 Male, migrating from Bangalore India. I work as a Business Analyst for a software consultancy firm here in Bangalore and would be migrating to Melbourne in March 2019. I am married and have a 3 year old kid back home, but will be migrating alone. I need a temporary accommodation for 3-4 months during which I would hopefully land a job & set up a bigger place to bring in my family. I am clean, tidy and always pay my rent on time. When I am not working, I usually spend time glued to my Kindle e-reader or catch latest shows on Netflix. I love conversations if you are up for a chat. A complete foodie (a little on the chubbier side) and a terrible cook (I can prepare edible things to eat for myself).
Hello! I'm a software engineering student looking for a room to stay. I have an easy-going personality. I am respectful of other's space, but am also friendly and happy to chat. I am also tidy and responsible - very happy to help around the house. When I'm not studying you might find me checking out an old movie at the cinemateque or making a rubbish video game.
Hey! My names Hugh (25) and looking to move into an unfurnished room in a share-house west of Melbourne before I head back to work at the beginning of February. I’ll be working full time (civil engineer) in Yarraville and lead a busy lifestyle. Throughout the week I will usually keep it pretty low key, however I’m totally down for family dinners and love to cook. Weekends I enjoy going out for drinks with friends, heading to the footy, going to live music events and just generally getting outdoors. Over the past 3 years I’ve been living in share-houses, I am clean and very respectful of other people’s space. With that, I have acquired heaps of furniture, appliances etc and would be happy to bring whatever is needed. Please shoot me a message if you think I would be a good fit for your house! Cheers

Hi everyone! My name is Felicia and I moved to Melbourne from Germany for a PhD at the Burnet Institute on a Uni Melbourne scholarship. I’m 26 years old and have lived in shared places for the last 5 years. I am clean and tidy and am looking to live in a place that feels like home. I am easygoing and would like to live with people who are happy to have a chat, watch the odd TV show or movie together and socialize over dinner/drinks every now and then, but are also independent and respect personal space. In my free time I enjoy cooking, going for runs, cycling and reading. I love pets and wouldn’t mind any living in the house. I’m looking to find a single room in a shared flat/house from the end of March. I currently live in lovely Yarraville and would like to stay in the area if I can. If you feel like I would be a good fit for your place, please feel free to contact me. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I’m a 30 year old male who moved to Melbourne from Perth, I’m easy going, quiet, friendly, clean, tidy, happy to keep to myself as well as hang out, have an occasional drink and I don’t smoke. Hey guys, we are two arts students (doing sound production @rmit) who wants to find like minded others to join in finding and starting a sharehouse. We'd like the others to be artsy types as well, but as long as they are genuine nice people (free Thinking/non-judgy) then I'm sure we can get along just fine. The maximum per week is 175 Inc, but we'd like to get the number as low as possible, the only other real requirement is that the commute to the city be via train and about 30 mins to the city, including walk time (this is flexible). First: name's Bryce and I've lived in a couple sharehouses now, what I've learned in that time is to be neat, and that having people that think like you is key to a successful sharehouse. I love my music, will bring out my turntable whenever I can, love my footy (soccer+AFL), red wine or beer catch up, gym, and the occasional rave. If the house mates are okay with the occasional party then that'd be great, but far from a requirement. I mostly will stay by myself but when I'm not, am hoping to have a free social feel to house. Also I'm very social so will have people over often. Second:Yo, I'm Kyle. I am currently studying full-time in the city. I don't have a job yet but am actively seeking. I'm at uni for most of the day but finish up around 5pm generally. I play a lot of video games and stay up late most nights but I am a quiet housemate and see myself as pretty laid back. When I'm not at uni or gaming I'm always down to hang out with my friends or housemates. Weekends consist of me sleeping in and sometimes having a few drinks.
Hi I’m Mel! I’m a professional working full time in the city. I’m looking for somewhere nice and close to the city. I’m very neat and tidy and respectful of other people. I enjoy getting outdoors and exploring new places but also enjoy a quiet night in. I can be found baking, outdoors or hanging out at the gym in my spare time. I’m reliable and easy going and enjoy being around other people. I am looking for a private room somewhere near the city and close to a train line. I’m looking for fellow housemates that are clean and tidy and know how to clean up after themselves. I would prefer a quiet and respectful housemate that isn’t up at all hours of the night making loud noises. Always up for brunch or a wine and cheese night with my fellow housemates let’s not be strangers! (Please note that I am not a drug person and would best suit a drug-free household) If you think I would suit your household please message me :)
I am an easy-going person. I like to chill but also to have party ! I would love to meet you and have a beer to get to know you. Cheers
