Hey! I'm a 32 - year old Finnish guy who's starting his psychology studies on February, 2017. I'm looking for a calm and clean living environment with flatmates who are considerate and respectful towards each other. On my free time I like to do a bit of cooking, working out in the gym, and mashing some yummy brunch into my face. When the weather isn't too cold, I like to sunbake at the beach.
I am a fun, friendly and tidy 23 yd girl. I enjoy making friends and having adventures but at the same time respect privacy of others. I love dogs, although I don't have one!:(( I will be studying in University of Melbourne full-time. So need a house in suburbs near to the university. I don't smoke.

Hello! I'm a 30 year old female working full-time Mon-Fri 9 to 5 in the city. Spent the last 17 years living and travelling between different cities and work has now brought me to Melbourne. Most evenings and weekends I am usually out rock climbing or hiking. I love travel, outdoor adventures, live gigs and movies! I'm always on the go so you may not see much of me at home. But when I do get some downtime I'm always happy to have a meal or drink with my housemates, or just hang out at home with a good movie marathon. Housekeeping wise - not overly OCD, I usually just clean up as I go. Generally I am quite chilled and try not to sweat the small stuff. Life's too short for that, right? Non-smoker and not into wild house parties. Preferably housemates who are similar in these respects and appreciate a quiet and peaceful home to return to. Love animals too and certainly won't mind if you have a cat or dog .... as long as they love cuddles and don't chew on my shoes!
Hi! My name's Em, I grew up in country Vic but have worked, lived, travelled and studied in a bunch of places over the years. I've just come back from a Study Tour providing professional development to grad teachers at monastic schools in Myanmar. I'm currently halfway through my Masters of Secondary Teaching at VU; I love my studies but they're super intense and often take up a fair chunk of my time, so there are occasional moments where I go underground for a few weeks when I'm lost in the study vortex. I attempt to remain as sociable and communicative as possible when this is happening, however! I do have alot of other interests, though; I love hip hop, jazz and soul music, dancing, hiking and and bike riding, op shopping, watching melodramatic spanish and french films on SBS demand and engaging in lively political debates. I'm vego, very enviro-conscious, into social justice stuff, I write cheesy battle raps/poetry and occasionally make collages and mandalas out of stuff I find. I've lived in a bunch of sharehouses so I know the deal: try not to be overly anal about anything but clean up after yourself, as well as being pretty chilled, easygoing and respecting others' personal space when need be. I'm down with communal share house stuff, as long as everyone has their own personal space and pitches in with maintaining tidiness, cleaning etc. So...if that sounds remotely like anything you'd be interested in, send me a message and we'll work from there.
If things work out would like to stay longer I'm over 50 Prefer to live neat and tidy Currently Temp Admin Assignments Previously lived over 40yrs in NSW Grew up in Perth

hello future roomies I'm currently on the hunt for a new roommate, a run down on the details so the place I'm currently at lease is slowly creeping up, so, therefore, I'm searching for a new place and with that, I'm searching for a new roomie. my ideal place is in the western suburbs somewhere between Newport to Seddon this gives you the closeness to the beaches of Williamstown, the city and city views of Melbourne and a great shopping day at Highpoint. about me I'm originally from NSW who moved to Melbourne at the start of 2015 for university where I study Entertainment management full time, alongside working full time in a restaurant in Williamstown (meaning there will always be Italian food in the fridge for you to eat), an advantage of this is you pretty much get the house to yourself 24/7, I'm tidy and respectful, but don't mind having that social aspect and wouldn't mind making a friend out of a roommate about you my preference on you would be tidy though I don't care about your room (that's your space), be able to pay rent and bills on time, wouldn't mind a chat or drink every know and then if you're interested in getting a share house please don't hesitate to give me a message
Beautiful old house that's been well-kept, with floorboards throughout and freshly painted. In a gorgeous quiet tree-lined street, with a small garden out the back that will be great for summer. Two rooms available, though only looking for one housemate at this stage, so they will have the choice of either the front room with the sun streaming in in the mornings or side room with more privacy from the street. The house is mostly furnished, with a washing machine, dryer, fridge, couches, tv, dining table and chairs. Also have a bed and wardrobe available if required (as no built-in robes in the bedrooms), or they can live in the spare room. There is a split heating/cooling system in the loungeroom, as well as a gas heater.
Hi My name is Rebecca and I am looking for a home to move to ASAP. Ideally I would like a large room with BIR/wardrobes that can fit more than my queen bed :D. I was living with my best friend who moved overseas and have my own furniture so an unfurnished room would be ideal. I don't smoke and only drink occasionally at social events. I’m quiet but up for a chat or occassional movie. I'm clean and have lived in share houses both in Oz and overseas so am aware of the living standards in sharing/respecting spaces. I enjoy cooking and exploring events around Melbourne (Theatre buff :D). I'm looking for somewhere to call home and housemates to hopefully call friends :D Thanks heaps Rebecca (Reb)
I run my own seasonal event business and studying uni full time. I partly work from home and at uni 3 days a week. I'll often work weekends. Having the funds to pay rent isn't a problem. Over the summer I tend to not be around the house much, either working or at the beach. Going away for 3 weeks in Jan. When I'm about the house I tend to spend most of my time in communal areas, I don't shut myself away in my room but don't mind living with people who do. Happy to do communal meals once a week, share things like milk etc and chip in replacing these items.
I am a visual artist. Quite introverted and spend a lot of my time painting in my room but can easily socialise with those around. I love creating a home wherever I go and for me that also means I enjoy getting to know the people I live with and spending time with them. I am very easily approachable and very understanding so communication with me is ABC!
Im very easy going i keep to myself and very clean and tidy... dont really party or have big/late nights over the weekend... good with pets have no problem at all! Im also pretty handy with maintenance and fixing things round the house!!
I am looking for a place to live ASAP as a share house that I am currently in is being closed I am great to live it because I am friendly gentlemanly reliable respectful , I enjoy time with my own as well as spending time with the people around me. I work in the picking /packing industry so I'm gone this morning
Hi me and my small dog are looking for for long term accommodation in a share household I am looking to live with tidy responsible housemates I have references & am open to most suburbs If you have a room please contact me to talk further
Two large front-facing bedrooms for rent in a semi-renovated 1950's Californian home in West Footscray. The first bedroom is partially furnished with a bed and built-in-robes while the second is unfurnished but can be furnished depending on the situation. Both have recently polished floor boards with functioning heaters available for use. The rest of the house consists of a fully equipped kitchen, lounge room/dining area and decking at the back with outdoor furniture. There's one bathroom that has been re-tiled and a laundry accessible outside -- both fully equipped. There's plenty of street parking on the service road at the front. Alternatively, there's a bus stop right outside and we're about 10 mins walk from West Footscray station. Location is on the brink of Kingsville and, subsequently, minutes away from everything in Seddon, Yarraville and Footscray.
We have a room available in our Yarraville house. The room is partly furnished with a tall boy and free standing mirror but these can be removed if you do not require them. The dimensions of the room are 3.3 x 2.4m and realistically would only fit a double sized bed, or queen without bed frame. The house has wicked fast NBN internet. We have a little veggie patch and compost heap and would be delighted if our new housemate also wanted to garden with us. The house is a 10 minute walk to Yarraville Station, and a 15 minute train ride into Flinders Street Station. The house is also very close Yaraville Village which has plenty of cafes and restraunts and the Sun Theater. Coles is a 5 minute walk away as well as the Footscray market being close by. We don’t have any off street parking but a permit to park on the street can be applied for easily. Ideally we are looking for someone to go onto another year long lease with bond being $608 (paying out our previous housemate), however we are open to negotiation on length of stay. Bills are split evenly between housemates, these include Gas, Water, Electricity. You will have access to wicked fast unlimited NBN Internet for the price of $30 per month. This is not a party house but we do enjoy movies, drink chats and hosting the occasional dinner or breakfast party. If you thought that Pauline Hanson was a good idea this probably isn't the house for you. You will be living with two other people: Anastassia works in theater and film as a set designer and Michael works full time and is a musician who can shred on guitar like a rock legend. Both of us work and would appreciate someone who is respectful of the sanctity of bedtime. that was the blurb i just re wrote amended below We have a room available in our Yarraville house. The room is partly furnished with a tall boy and free standing mirror but these can be removed if you do not require them. Spacious 4 bedroom house located in a quiet part of West Footscray. Furniture and appliances are all fairly new. Living room is fully furnished with a split system just installed. Kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher. There are 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. Laundry area is separate. Ducted heating and NBN also available. There is a lock up garage and a car space in the driveway, as well as plenty of on street parking. The house is within walking distance to the Princes Freeway, buses and train stations (Tottenham and West Footscray station). However, it is roughly a 25 minute walk to the station so having a car is preferable if you are catching the train most days. There is also a Reserve (2 minute walk) with a playground, football/cricket ground, tennis courts and a public swimming pool.
We are a couple of New Zealanders looking for an ideal house mate to stay in a new 3bdrm, 3bthrm town house a stones throw from the city. West Footscray train station is 1 minute walk away and the supermarket is the same distance. The top level will be all yours as well as your own bathroom. The bedroom has its own in built air con system and wardrobe in a large house.

I am a very friendly, laid back, clean, respectful and out-going person. I love going out to eat, having a few drinks with friends and general socialising. Also enjoy sport such as the AFL, music, cooking and reading. Looking for housemates who enjoy socialising and are around the same age as me.
I work full time as an ESL Teacher and do a bit of writing and broadcasting as well. I'm easy going and open minded, with loads of experience living in sharehouses. I'm clean and tidy, have my own furniture and can move anytime.

Hi! Im Julie, a Perthie who has moved to wonderful Melbourne and working in Footscray. Looking around Footscray or central (such as Southbank etc) I am starting from scratch in regards to networks so would love housemates who are up for a chat (but I know full well when to let you have space too!!) Would like to find a room with a private bathroom if possible. I am a clean person who prefers to keep the house a "chill zone", nice and quiet with maybe a sneaky wine!
Hi, I am a veterinary medicine student in my third year. I am looking for a place or a team up for 6 months minimum. I come with three pets (a cat, small dog and parrot). I also petsit, usually 1 or 2 small dogs (Only small dogs) or cats at a time. I do not look after animals that are not suitable for the house or that may annoy anybody within the house. I also have a household full of furniture, including fridge, washing machine, microwave, heaps of kitchen stuff, couches etc... I am a clean, quiet and happy person, who is looking for housemates/ a housemate that is/are similar. I am not looking for a house with heaps of people, but 1 or 2 housemates (or a couple). I would also love to team up and start a new house together! You must be clean and help with the household chores and not leave dirty dishes or clothes around in communal areas etc... other than that I am pretty laid back and enjoy a good chat. My university course is very full on, so during university semesters I am quite busy and so I am not interested in parties every weekend (unless it is a special occasion-->birthday for example). I am more fun during the holidays and up for more adventures and outings. I have a police check. If you have any questions please feel free to ask :)
I am looking to live alone, got to an age where that's the space I need. I am a young professional working full time and extremely busy so I'll need a place that I can come home to and relax, plus deck out with Kmart attire! I currently live in a share house and have so for a year and a half. I am a reliable tenant with payment and keeping the place tidy. I look forward to hearing from you.
I'm easy going and chilled out, don't mind a drink every now and then but not a partier, spend most of my time working in the city as a chef, and I'm clean and considerate.
My partner Shannon & I will be looking to find a 3 bedroom home to rent & are looking 1 a housemate to join us in our search. We will keep the 3rd bedroom as a spare & plan to furnish the home with our belongings but are open to what you may have to offer for the home. Expected budget for house mate $200-250. We are currently looking for a housemate who can have a chat, a laugh & share the occasional catch up when we are all in the home. Also a housemate who will keep the shared areas in the home clean, neat & tidy & someone who is considerate and respectful of others when it comes to noise levels. Rachael is an intern psychologist and Shannon a construction site manager. We are a respectful, friendly, easy going couple who pride ourselves in being neat and tidy & never a hassle to live with. We enjoy going to gym, cafes, markets & the occasional night out or just relaxing. Rachael works FT long days. Shannon also works 10-12 hour days 5-6 days per week & is often out of town every second weekend. We lead a fairly busy lifestyle between work, gym and our family/friends living out of town but do enjoy a chat and a laugh when we are in the home. If you would like to know any more please send me an email, text or call.
Hey everyone, I've just graduated from university and I'm starting full-time work in Melbourne as an engineer. I'm looking for housemates that are friendly and keen to socialise a bit after work/on weekends. During uni I've been living in a share house in Brisbane, and am happy to help with housework/cleaning. For fun, I like to play guitar, pool and explore the city. I'm always up for a bit of an adventure, anything from going camping to going to 7/11 to get a slurpee. Hope to hear from you soon (please swipe right!)

Imagine living on the edge of a massive park only 4km's from the city...15mins by bicycle, train or car. Professional male, offering a room to rent in Yarraville. I work part time during the week and run a small (legit) business from the rear of the home, so the front of the house (Lounge, Dining, Bathroom, Kitchen) is effectively yours to share with one other. The other flatmate works full time in social services to support her adopted cat, Kiki. $240 a week covers rent and utilities (Elec, Gas, Water, NBN, Gardening) and you get your own room (5.0m x 2.5m) with built in wardrobes, chest of drawers, very close to the city, shops, freeways and public transport, with Cruickshank Park 50m down the street. Fully furnished living area with air con and heating includes a TV (we've got a bigger one coming in a couple of weeks) and use of PC, with adjoining dining room and table for more civilised occasions (and winter laundry hanging). Spacious and light kitchen with Smeg gas stove/elec oven, huge fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher and the usual arrray of infrequently used machines and utensils. Separate bathroom and toilet in laundry conveniently positioned in front of the washing machine. Great backyard with covered entertainment area and 4 burner BBQ with low-maintenance, but still lovely, garden. Ample parking (on street). Coles is less than 1km away, beyond that is Yarraville Village, laden with cafes, restaurants, bars, beards, the Sun (movie) Theatre, trains, buses, grocers, butchers and a bevy of other things to pique your interest. There's even a KFC, Macca's, HJ's, Subway and 7/11 within a 3km radius. 2 well-trained dogs provide light entertainment and casual security. They're indoor/outdoor dogs that enjoy the company of flatmates and guests alike. This is a laid back home, we don't live by rosters and generally everyone does their bit to keep the common areas clean and tidy. We look after ourselves with respect for each other and like to share laughter and conversation if the odd wine or beer pays a visit. Send me a message with any questions or if you'd like to book a time to come and look at the place.
