Hey everyone! My name is Maddie, I'm 20 years old and I just moved here from New Zealand. I'm super friendly and chilled out. I'm currently looking for retail and barista jobs but I have savings so I can pay rent and bond etc! I'm vegan but I promise I won't try to turn you, and I'll make you bomb stir fry and curries etc! I enjoy the occasional night out with friends but I'm mostly a night in with Netflix type of girl. Contact me if you'd like to know more about me.
Hi My name is Rebecca and I am looking for a home to move to ASAP. Ideally I would like a large room with BIR/wardrobes that can fit more than my queen bed :D. I was living with my best friend who moved overseas and have my own furniture so an unfurnished room would be ideal. I don't smoke and only drink occasionally at social events. I’m quiet but up for a chat or occassional movie. I'm clean and have lived in share houses both in Oz and overseas so am aware of the living standards in sharing/respecting spaces. I enjoy cooking and exploring events around Melbourne (Theatre buff :D). I'm looking for somewhere to call home and housemates to hopefully call friends :D Thanks heaps Rebecca (Reb)
I'm a genuine and friendly guy, up for a travel adventure and will always bring a good time along with me.. easy going I work long hours, go to the gym. I usually have dinner out with a friend at least once during the week and enjoy heading to the movies or a quiet drink or two on the weekend but also enjoy being a homebody and spending time at home.
I'm looking for someone who would like to move out with my dog Ruby and I between now and the end of the year. So far I keep to myself in my room due to a lack of a space and people to socialise with. This would probably different in the right place and with the right people. I like to cook. And willing to share a meal or two. While I hate washing up its usually done within two days. I just like a clean sink first. Easy to live with don't care about much. Just don't pee in the backyard. Ruby is a fur monster so if you mind pet hair you won't be happy. She's loveable and friendly. Just keep her away from rubbish, waterbottles, toothbrushes & human food. It's like living with one big furry toddler. Backyard big enough for Ruby. No more than 2 other people.
Looking to team up with someone also looking to live in Melbourne's inner West. I am a friendly, easy going 33 year old looking for another person to share with. Keep common areas tidy, love interacting with people, yet also needs some down time. I am a Christian, so prefer Christian housemate. I have most furniture (fridge, washing machine, couches, TV, kitchen stuff) for a unit so happy for someone who only has stuff for their room. Look for units between $250-$300 per week, so would be appprox an affordable $150 per week. I am flexible, so please contact me to chat further: )
My name is Tara. I'm 29. I work as a receptionist in Brooklyn, Thurs to Sun. Between Mon to Wed I spend my time socializing, dancing and doing public speaking. I am looking for: - a large bedroom (3.7m times 3.7m) OR - a bedroom PLUS study. The bedroom needs to fit a double mattress, clothes hanger, a bedside table, clothes basket. The study area doesn't need to be massive but adequate for a small lady to work around. Suburb preference: Yarraville, Seddon, Kingsville, West Footscray Transport: will need free parking spot, but I like living close to a train station too! I have my own bedroom and study furniture. Gender preference: Mature-minded, easygoing but clean and tidy males. I've had plenty of bad experiences living with catty ladies. Sorry. Age preference: 27 and above House type preference: Modern townhouse/double-brick house/apartment with ducted heating, with dishwasher. I am skinny and petite so I need a well-insulated place for winter. Moving date: 7th November (or similar) Budget is 270 per week or under. I'm clean, drug-free, debt-free, pretty organized and private. I also bring in cleaning materials when I move in, so I contribute to the general cleaning stock. I am pretty busy and independent. That said, it's nice to live with someone who says, "Hi, how was your day?" I am an ambivert - somewhere between introversion and extroversion. Hope to talk to you soon!
Gold Coast university student who recently moved to Melbourne! I now study Education at Victoria University in Footscray Park. I am looking for an ALL FEMALE household, close to public transportation with no more than 4 residents. I am a tidy housemate, social and friendly. I like animals, nature, video games and movies. I often travel to and from the Gold Coast to visit my boyfriend. I am keen to learn more about the city and explore new places! xx
Hello! I'm a 30 year old full-time professional working the 9-5 in the city. I'm new to Melbourne, used to live overseas and also in Perth and Adelaide. I live my life by 3 simple words: Make it count! When not at work, I love to travel and be outside exploring the outdoors. Weeknights you'll probably find me at the climbing gym or out exercising. And weekends likely somewhere hiking, climbing or camping but occasionally I like to indulge in a long Sunday sleep in, check out a nice cafe for brunch and go to the movies. With my housemates I'm always happy to have a meal or drink together, or just hang out at home with a good movie/tv marathon. I don't smoke, don't party (those days are behind me) and am always mindful of others' space and privacy.. so i'm looking for housemates who are similar in these respects and enjoy returning to a quiet, drama-free home. I love animals too and certainly won't mind if you have a cat or dog .... as long as they love cuddles and don't chew on my shoes!
Im quite, i work early mornings, respectful of other peaple and their things, currently single. Good work ethic i work in where housing, i enjoy music and playing video games. And exploring new adventures Thank you Need to be able to have a dog who is well behaved.
Two large front-facing bedrooms for rent in a semi-renovated 1950's Californian home in West Footscray. The first bedroom is partially furnished with a bed and built-in-robes while the second is unfurnished but can be furnished depending on the situation. Both have recently polished floor boards with functioning heaters available for use. The rest of the house consists of a fully equipped kitchen, lounge room/dining area and decking at the back with outdoor furniture. There's one bathroom that has been re-tiled and a laundry accessible outside -- both fully equipped. There's plenty of street parking on the service road at the front. Alternatively, there's a bus stop right outside and we're about 10 mins walk from West Footscray station. Location is on the brink of Kingsville and, subsequently, minutes away from everything in Seddon, Yarraville and Footscray.
Hello there, you look nice today! We are looking for a housemate to share our rental property in Braid Street, West Footscray. You know what I like about West Footscray? Everything! We are four train stops from the City Loop, and a $7 Uber fair to Footscray Station (which is two stops to the City Loop and a hub for many other trains). Footscray is also home to many fabulous restaurants. Some people seem to think Footscray is a rough neighbourhood to live in. Shhhhhh! Don't correct them, it keeps our rent down. You're going to be living in a large house with four bedrooms (one of them will be yours. SPOILER: the other three are ours). • Two loungerooms • seperate dining • new(ish) wood kitchen • seperate laundry • gas ducted heating • NBN (12-25Mbps. We usually get around 23) • Netflix • large back yard with paved undercover area • garage with a bar We're going to share the facilities, but it's cool because everyone in the household are adults so you won't have to live in a sty. Most of the main stuff for the house is provided like couches, a dining set, and at least two ladles. You just need to bring the stuff for your bedroom and any kitchen items you own. If you have additional furniture we will make it work.
We are a 5 minute walk to Yarraville, 6 minute drive to the West Footscray station and the Central West Shopping plaza that has Coles, Aldi's, and the deli as well. Beautiful park just across the street, tennis courts, swimming pool, and football oval also within vicinity. Two storey townhouse with an open concept design downstairs. Fully furnished with dishwasher, heating, and air conditioning along with all cleaning supplies (steam mop, vaccuum, etc.).
Hi there! Come and join our lovely home in Seddon! We have 1 room available in our 3 bedroom home from October 21st and are looking for a lovely guy or gal to join us! The lease ends in May, so looking for someone who is wanting to stay for the next 7 months at least. About the house! Born in 1907, with a retro kitchen straight out of the '30s, this place is a lovely character. It's a short 10 minute walk to both Seddon and Middle Footscray station, both of which are a chill 10 minute train journey from Southern Cross. There are plenty of bus stops nearby too! Whilst pets aren't allowed to live in this place, the town is just buzzing with doggos and cats at every corner. Seddon village provides all the eats you could desire, but if you're after a little more, Footscray is just around the bend. The room is unfurnished and has huge built in robes, going at the sweet rate of $175 a week About you! We're looking for someone of similar(ish) age, who has lived out of home before. You'd be tidy and efficient when it comes to cleaning up after yourself (ie dishes), and willing to contribute to the general cleanliness of the house. We're after someone just generally respectful; of each other when it comes to noise, cleaning up, and communicating, and of the general world and people that inhabit it. A non-smoker, and non-drug-user, and LGBT friendly If you enjoy puns, travel, and get excited for Christmas, then you're probably our kind of person and should send me a message with a bit about yourself!! :------) (((Please note: we will only reply to those who take the time to tell us about themselves, as opposed to a general "Hi I'm interested." ))) Kind regards, 2 gals looking for their third amigo

Hello, We are a couple studying Law & Biomedicine, we are originally from country NSW and have lived in the Footscray area for 2 years now. We both have part-time jobs in Retail & Personal Training. We are very committed to our studies We are both very friendly and respectful people, who are more than happy to socialise and share a meal with housemates. Although, we do have busy schedules which keeps us out of the house and quiet whilst studying. We are also extremely clean and courteous of other peoples space/noise. We are very outdoorsy people who enjoy going for walks, runs and hikes when we have free time. Overall, we are simple, relaxed, down to earth people. Looking for a share house in a relaxed, clean home. We are also interested in organising a 'team-up' with the right people. If you're interested just message us!

We would like to leave our 3rd room as a spare/office. Our preferred budget is $450 up to $500 max. So your room may cost anywhere between $200-250. And we would like for you to help us in the searching & application process so that we can all move in at the same time. Will will first apply for a 6 month lease in case we are not happy with the house or area. But the idea is for it to be long term for us & hopefully you! And importantly to Rachael a housemate who will keep the shared areas in the home clean, neat & tidy. Importantly to Shannon who works long hours someone who is considerate and respectful of others when it comes to noise levels.
