I am a hard worker , keep things nice and tidy and i really like books . I am either working , in my room reading , or trying out some amazing food at a nice cafe.
We are very close to seddon, yarraville and train stations! The house is beautiful and we are all pretty down to earth! We are all usually out and about and working normal people hours. We dont mind a wine on a friday night! I also have a little sausage dog called Schnitzel von Krumm just to sweeten the deal!
Most important thing for me when sharing a house is being respectful of shared spaces. Cleaning after you eat, no dirty pans in the sink, and cleaning the bathroom regularly. After that living with people should be easy. I am professional working full time and have recently been offered a job in Melbourne. I'm from the UK and have just moved to Aus 9 months ago to adelaide with my wife. She will be staying in adelaide until we she can leave her job and we can find a place together. I do have to work some night shifts so I would be grateful for some quiet during the day when I'm on a run of nights. I have loads of interests- scuba diving, movies, comedy, travelling, house music (don't worry I won't be playing this), running, F45, astronomy etc... plenty to talk about. I am sociable, fun and enjoy getting to know people. I am clean but not OCD. I would treat the flat/house like it was my own and expect the same from other flat mates. Give me a call or text if this matches with what your looking for Jin
Hi. My name is Sam. I'm a 25 year old Bricklayer who works full time. I am originally from NZ, but have lived in Melbourne for the past 4 years. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy a beer after work. During the week I'm usually out playing touch footy or boxing. I'm looking to get into a house share with some like minded people, preferably of similar age. I plan on staying in Melbourne for the next 4 months (possibly longer) before going travelling, so if you are after a short term tenant or think I would be a good fit in your house, get in touch. Also, my move date is flexible by a few weeks either way. Cheers
I'm a full time Veterinary Medicine student who spends too much time with their head in a textbook. I'm looking for a sharehouse with chill vibes which I can retreat to at the end of the day. I come with my best mate Charlie, a 10 year old Spoodle X hot water bottle who is a heckin' good boy. He's a super friendly pup, is quiet and doesn't shed hair.
Hi, we are a couple in our twenties, looking for a place to live! We are looking to move early August, when our current lease is up - not before. Both working full-time (between Melbourne & Geelong). Easy-going, tidy, love a Netflix sesh and a few drinks on the weekends. Cannot live with cats or smokers, due to allergies and asthma. Interested in both rooms in share houses, or someone to team up and find a new place together, so feel free to message us :)
My name is Laura I’m 23, currently studying nursing and working part time as a carer. I am ideally looking for somewhere in the Inner West. My max budget is $200 pw but ideally would prefer between $150-170. My intention is to move mid July preferably after the 13th but could be earlier if I find the right fit. A little about me: I am studying nursing in Geelong (I am usually there about 1 day a week), I work as a carer (presently I have contracts in Port Melbourne and Richmond but this changes on a regular basis) I work mostly days but can have the occasional late night. I am financially secure and capable of paying my bills on time. I am happy to contribute to household tasks such as cleaning. I enjoy cooking, travel, watching TV etc. I would describe myself as more of a homebody, although I enjoy going out to movies, brunch, dinner or the occasional drink. I have a sarcastic sense of humour so as long as you understand sarcasm, don't mind a laugh, drink or tv I'm extremely easy to get along with. I am looking for housemates that are happy to share a meal or a drink when we can, have a chat or watch a tv show. But also doesn't mind some alone time.
Hello, I'm Tara. I am 30 and I run my own business from home. Hobbies: Dancing, YouTubing, reading, traveling. I would like a safe place to stay for 10 months. I plan to move interstate in March/April 2018 to study. But I promise to pay my bills and rent until then! I am going through naturalization. Based in the inner Western suburbs, but would consider moving to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, Glen Iris, Malvern, Maribyrnong, Ascot Vale and Kensington It needs to be close to public transport BUT with a parking spot, for my little red Ford Festiva. Prefer unfurnished as I have my own furniture. Awesome things about me: - self-sufficient - private, quiet, busy - health-conscious - drug-free, debt-free - I clean as I go PS: I share a lovely 3 level townhouse in West Footscray. My housemate is a passive-aggressive alcoholic man who is getting divorced. We have just been given 3 months to vacate. I am looking to move out/in in mid-June, July or August. If you are considering asking me to share a house with you, I think we would get along if you are: - not an alcoholic. I drink socially about once or twice a week. - busy and have real hobbies - are in a good place financially (working/not a student) - understand that I'm paying rent for privacy, peace and quiet (I'm an introvert, not an extrovert. I am not obliged to be your psych/best friend) - clean, but not OCD clean - no shouting or cursing at me; please approach me in a calm and civil manner to discuss issues. Say "Please and thank you" These rules would go for me too! I would only share with one other person, to keep things simple. If I were to share a house, the room must be: - LARGE (at least 3.5m by 3.5m), must fit double bed and desk with room to move - have large BIR - have an ensuite bathroom I can afford up to 350 per week. I am happy to pay for gas/water/electricity and Internet but NOT Foxtel or Netflix. Thanks very much; hope to speak to you soon. Tara
My name is Hana, I'm a kiwi nurse at Footscray hospital, looking for a chilled out flat where people hang out a bit and do semi-regular meals together- a real home :) Mini life story: I worked around a bunch of pubs in WA for a couple of years before starting uni in Frankston 4 years ago and now that I've got some spare time I'm trying to grow some hobbies/ an actual life! I like cooking big meals and sharing new food ideas, netflix, a bit of salsa dancing and yoga, and trivia as often as I can go. I've been living in sharehouses for about 6 years now and am well and truly house trained. Let me know if I sound like a good fit for your flat, happy to get coffee or a beer sometime to meet 🙂
Hi I'm Kate, I'm 18 (will be 19 when I move). Moving to Melbourne to do Animal studies at either Boxhill or Melbourne Polytechnic starting February 2018! I absolutely love animals and I have a very well behaved little cat, Callie who I absolutely have to bring with me! Social drinker, non-smoker but don't really mind if you are. I'm very tidy and won't leave my stuff all over the place! My current flatmates think I'm pretty rad and I hope you will too. I'd love to live with other girls but I don't really mind either!
Located in Kingsville - inbetween Footscray, Seddon & Yarraville. 20 mins to the CBD on the metro which is a 15 min walk away or 5 min drive - or a bus stop is only around the corner. Surrounded by heaps of amazing cheap food (indian, vietnamese, ethiopian the reverence hotel). Close to the beach and Geelong. Plenty of street permit free parking. The bedroom on offer has a large built in robe. It is very well lit , it has no ceiling fan but does have a wall heater. Bedroom is big and can easily fit a queen size bed along with a desk, bedside table and bookshelf. The room can come furnished if needed! All bedrooms and the lounge room have floor boards. The bathroom is newly renovated, and the kitchen has new appliances (stove & dishwasher). High ceilings throughout the house keeping it cool in summer. The backyard is quite a decent size. It has an under cover deck, back storage shed, veggie garden, clothes line, lemon & fig tree, trampoline and BBQ.
Hi, Im Jamie. 44, male, Registered Nurse. Clean, quiet, respectful of others and their privacy. Into photography, hiking, 4WD, cooking/eating out, movies and wine. Non-smoker, social drinker, like to try and keep fit and healthy (though profess to a "slight" chocolate and gelati addiction). Don't do drugs and wouldn't share with anyone that did!! Prefer a female housemate as usually easier to live with than guys. Have shared heaps due to previous nature of my work as locum nurse. Have had a working with children check due to the nature of my employment if this is of importance. Anything else, we can chat about if the occasion arises.

Hi! I'm Lawrence, an International student from Mauritius, who's been living in Melbourne for a few years now. I'm looking to move closer to the City to save time going to work and to Uni. Full time post-grad, so a cosy place for relaxing/studying would help! I'm also a casual hospitality worker, so unavoidably pretty friendly. Not big on partying anymore, but do appreciate drinks and always up for some banter! Respectful of other housemates privacy. Not very fussy about a little bit of mess here and there and the TV playing in the background as I grew up in a big family house, but I tend to enjoy the sight of clean common areas... Happy to do my share of chores too. Random facts: I'm an avid recycler, I don't smoke nor do I eat meat (anymore) and errrr.... I also speak French and Spanish. Voilà!
Hi :) I'm looking for a place to stay closer to or in the city with a friend or two. Currently taking up my MBA in VU City flinders and working part time. Friendly, positive, easy to get along with, passionate about cooking & food, loves to travel & explore and meet new friends...
*Also keen to team-up with people to look for a place in the western suburbs too. Send me a message if you're in the same boat and think we'd get along!* Hello future housemates, anyone got a room for me? Looking for a fun / creative / environmentally-conscious / awesome sharehouse on the west side of the city (so Footscray, Yarraville and neighbouring suburbs). WHO AM I? Greetings, I’m Evie (22)! I’m a hopeless Taswegian at heart, but have got quite used to this trendy Melbourne lifestyle over the last few years living in Brunswick. I’m studying post-grad veterinary in Werribee (big thumbs up for a place with animals!) so am pretty busy during the week. On the weekends I love getting outdoors – be it climbing, kayaking, hiking or just sitting somewhere painting or reading. I work part time at a climbing gym and occasionally take a dog for a walk (and for some reason they pay me too!). I dabble in all kinds of other random hobbies with varying competency. I’m an optimistic person and the general consensus is that I am quite nice. WHO ARE YOU? I love living with people, not merely coexisting. To me, that means laughs, adventures, shared meals and friendship. I care about the environment and would love to live with other people that do too (I’m 99% vego btw). My ideal place would be in the west, a house with a backyard, $100-200 a week, non-smoking, 3-6 people, and some sunshine. MOVE-IN As soon as possible!!
Hello! I'm a Creative Writing student at Deakin University (Burwood) working part time. I write a blog about anything and everything. I'm not a big party person although I do enjoy dinner and drinks, and prefer to watch movies or Netflix in my leisure time. I'm a relatively quiet person, albeit quite social as well and I try to maintain a tidy space as well as living minimally in my space. I like to get things done sooner rather than later. I get along very well with pets (but don't have my own) and will be mindful of others during night time hours.
Hey guys! We are a couple from Melbourne looking to start or join a share house. After doing a year long distance we're both keen to settle down somewhere (ideally Footscray) and make a happy home. I'm a full time final year law student and work part time. I've just gotten back from a one year stint in China. I play the drums, enjoy sci-fi novels and surrealist film, fitness and cooking. I speak Swedish, Spanish and Chinese. If you want a gym buddy, language partner or someone to check out weird art exhibitions with I'm your girl. Blaz is a full time carpenter at a commercial building site. He enjoys BBQ's, Netflix, yoga, the outdoors and having a good time. Blaz is not only a great handyman but also loves working on projects and would be great for fixing a place up. Between us we live very busy lives and are looking for people with similar lifestyles. But we're both social people so come weekend we are always up for some activities. We love going on camping trips and to festivals and would be keen on organising the odd get together. We are looking to move in or establish a place from August 20. Let us know if you're similar and feel that we could get a good thing going :)
I'm pretty easy to live with, i work full-time tuesday to saturday and i have plans most times during the week with friends. I have previously lived out of home for two years from when i was 19-21 and only recently moved back with my family and looking to move out again. I'm a clean and tidy person and have no issue in cleaning rosters and things like that. I don't take up much food in the fridge because as i said i eat out a lot. I have an easy going personality and am pretty chill with anything. I enjoy listening to music, going to concerts and reading books.

I am quiet but funny , I love to have a good laugh or at least make people laugh . I love AFL and sport in general , I am looking forward to watching the bombers play . Easy going and laid back. Minimalist attitudes. Great with animals and children. Studying part time and also working. Looking for somewhere relaxed where I can interact with other housemates as much or as little as I want.
Hello there! We're both easy going, friendly, independent & conscientious. We're good at cleaning up after ourselves and all that other dull house stuff. Edward works in a bottle shop so he can get cheap beer and Alex is an interior designer, so she can give you hot interiors tips. Alex plays netball, likes cooking/going out for food and hanging out at the pub, especially in summer. Edward also likes hanging out at the pub and playing in video game tournaments. We both smoke outside. Ideally we're looking to start a house up in Footscray with another couple, but we're open to whatever we can get really! We have a full house of furniture too, including a great zombie apocalypse board game that is more fun with more than 2 people and a framed collage of Sarah Michelle Geller. No pets please, as Edward is allergic. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi! Looking for a place for initially 2 months maybe longer. Looking for a friendly houseshare. Come with lots of sharing experience. My interests are broad and include human rights and the arts. Latin dance and music are a passion and I go out to gigs every week. I also have broad tastes in music and an interest in cinema. I live on a plant based diet and like to eat healthily. Respectful, considerate and fun. Like to have a balance of private and social times and am respectful of others needs. Need a smoke free environment - inside and out. I look forward to hearing from you :-)
I'm a 26 year old veterinarian from Manchester in the north of England & my other half is Darren, a 32 year old civil engineer from Glasgow in Scotland. We arrived in Australia in March 2017, and we're planning to work/travel for 12 months before returning back home. Our only aims are to see as much of this vast country as possible, catch some sunshine and eat some great food. We have both secured employment for 3-6 months in Melbourne starting in June 2017 - Darren in the CBD, and myself out in Delahey. We will both be working full time during the week, and also some weekends. In our spare time we love cooking, eating, seeing live music, the occasional G&T/glass of wine, & we're planning to explore Melbourne and its surrounds as much as we can whilst we're there as well. I am fastidious (probably too much so - Darren can vouch!) - about being clean and tidy so you can rest assured we will take extremely good care of any property we live in. We are non-smokers and do not have a car, although I will have a bicycle in Melbourne. If you're looking for a tidy, considerate couple who are equally happy to share space and hang out, but also like our personal space and downtime, please drop us a message.
