Hi... My name is Elaine. I am 20 years old and I am an international student. I am currently looking for a room. Well as I am new to Australia so I do not know which place or suburbs are better for staying. So I just simply put those 4 suburbs that I would prefer to live. But honestly as long as it not too far away from CBD, I am ok with any suburbs to live. So what makes me great to live with? Well... I am a girl.. A good girl? Haha just kidding..erm I love to sing and dance, swimming, watch movies, shopping, eating, sleeping. OK everyone is doing that so nothing special haha...l love to meet new friends so if you are nice to me then I will be more nice to you.. I am a shy but funny person. Lastly, I am moving to Australia in January 2018. I know it's a bit too early to find rooms now but I just wanna see if there is any room available. Thank you
Available mid December (dates TBC), is a room in our beautiful 3-bedroom renovated house in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood on the outskirts of the city. A 15-minute train ride into the city (short walk to West Footscray or Middle Footscray stations) and close to local cafes, restaurants and bars. The room is a good size with a built-in-wardrobe, ceiling fan, and can fit a double or queen-sized bed. You'll be sharing a bathroom, and but the house has two toilets. The house has a large lounge and kitchen, and a great backyard which is ideal for summer - we have a gorgeous lemon-tree which is pretty much fully stocked all year round. Heaps of on-street parking, and a pretty front-yard.
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, completing handyman task, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are only a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
I currently live in student accommodation in Footscray but am originally from Newcastle, NSW. I am studying education and work overnights usually 3-5 nights a week including some weekends. I enjoy writing, reading, cooking, playing my game cube and playing hockey and spend the majority of my time doing any of these. As a housemate, I tend to keep to myself however also enjoy the company of those I've lived with and appreciate occasionally having dinner together and playing card games/board games, a few drinks, watching tv etc.
Hey, My name's Josh, I'm 23 from England. I was working as a joiner back home, before I had the urge to go travelling. I enjoyed being hands on and creative, but discovering new places was top of the list! I have just returned from travelling up to Cairns, and now have returned hungry for more travel. I have to decided to travel Australia on motorbike next year, so am currently saving and planning best I can to make it an amazing trip. I'm currently working full time, it's a very physical job, so I enjoy coming home having a beer and a chat, however sometimes just need to sleep. Netflix and going somewhere for the weekend are a couple things I also love to do. So would love to hear of places you recommend! I respect everyone's privacy and belongings, just how I like mine respected. Ill keep the house clean, and don't mind helping with any projects you have, or, if you have a garden, I'd love to help out too! Thanks !! Josh
I am an easy going, social individual who's studying mechanical engineering at UQ. I'm currently looking for a place in Melbourne for 3 months for work purposes. I'm a former cyclist who still loves to cycle in his free time and am very clean, tidy and punctual with bills. :)

I am friendly, respectful and careful to take care of wherever I live. I am an active person, like being in nature, dancing, learning and exploring new things. Originally from Crotia, Australia has been my home for five years. I recently relocated to Melbourne. I am studying law part time and exoloring employment options.
Originally from the country but have lived in Melbourne for the best part of 15 years. Carpenter so am rarely home during the day. Enjoy the usual things socialising, watching tv, catching up with friends, good coffee, cooking etc. Extremely easy going and easy to get along with. Occasional smoker but never inside.
Easy to get along with, very accepting of all walks of life, love to socialise, but like my own space too - would love to find a housemate to drink wine and watch netflix with!
Hey! My name is Emma and I have just graduated from nursing. I will be starting a full time job in January at St Vincent's Hospital in Fitzroy. I am hoping to be within 20 mins of the city via public transport as I will likely be commuting to work. I love to have a chat and a wine however also enjoy time to myself.
Our lovely three bedroom home in Kingsville has a room available for anyone who wants to enjoy living inner-city in a comfortable, relaxed and affordable home. If you drive it's only 15 minutes to the city. With public transport it’s a 15 minute walk to Yarraville or West Footscray train station where you can get to the city in around 10-15 minutes. Footscray and Yarraville are also home to great cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as the iconic Sun Theatre. Plus when you want fast food there's a McDonald's two blocks away from the house! There is a shared bathroom with a decent shower, and the toilet is separate. The kitchen has plenty of surfaces for food prep, with a gas oven and stove top, and a microwave (and a fridge). The lounge room is big, has plenty of comfy couches, a dining table that Lachlan put together and makes for a great communal living space. There is also a laundry with a washing machine and we have a dryer. There is a huge lemon tree in the large back yard so there’s always fresh lemons for cooking or cocktails. Plus if you like gardening there’s also a decent veggie patch that hasn’t had a lot of attention. The supermarket is only a five minute walk away so this place is ideal if you don't drive but we have plenty of parking if you do. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
Hi there! We are Emma and Rich! We are easy going, sincere and friendly people who love to make new friends. We are sociable but also respect people's privacy. We're clean, tidy and respectful of people's belongings. Over from the UK on a working holiday visa, we are looking to finish the remainder of our time in amazing Melbourne and looking for a happy home for 3 months.
Hi! I'm Taner, I'm a very active and outdoorsy person, I cycle, climb, play tennis and a bit of soccer and other activity I can join. I also like time indoors, with board games, a doco or movie, books or practising spanish. I've lived in share houses before and know how to be clean, tidy and respectful, and can be handy when it comes to fixing things or gardening. It would be nice if the house is a friendly one where there are (ideally meat free) shared meals and other social time and where the occasional visitor or couchsurfer is welcome. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers :) Ideal housemates would be active and happy people who like to socialise, have a few drinks, that join and suggest activities, and who are responsible enough to clean up any mess they make.
I'm an student/part-time worker looking for adventure. I come from a small city/large town on an island called Victoria. Not Victoria, Australia but Victoria, Canada. I clean up after myself, I wash my own dishes, hell I'll even vacuum and clean the washrooms if I have time because I kinda like doing that stuff. I'm looking to room for at least 4 months in Melbourne. I have 6ish years restaurant experience at 3 different places, and all the stupid drunk stories I can't remember until I get drunk and remember said stupid stories. Cheers, heres to good times.
Hello! :) The room I have for rent is close location to cbd, Williamstown and great takeaway. It has a lockable door and West Footscray Railway Station is 5 minutes walk only 3 stops to city, plus the added convenience of being able to get the Watergardens OR Sunbury train on the way home! Bunnings is walking distance and Coles not too far away. If you don't have a car, you're welcome to come with me to Coles, Woolworths and aldi, and do your shopping at the same time and I'll be happy to drive you. Friendly neighbours and quiet street. Modern bathroom and kitchen with hot water heat limiter turned off so those of you who love a *hot* shower or bath, you'll be in heaven! Central heating, ceiling fans in all rooms, air conditioned kitchen / dining area. Your room, the master, is the coolest by far in summer and warmest in winter. No real estate to worry about, private rental. Smoking is fine (I smoke) but outside only. Pets are fine too and the back yard is secured so they won't get out. Unless it's a cat. There's a shed for storage but the bedroom has masses of storage with its built in robes and draws. Couples or singles welcome, lgbtqi extra welcome as I'm bi, so you'll be more than welcome here. Older people, unemployed, all welcome, as long as you can make the rent, it's all good. Bills are extra, but not much. We have an incredible deal for the gas (gas is hot water, heating and oven as well as cook top by the way) and electricity. Which reminds me, internet access is available, I believe the nbn is accessible. We currently don't have the internet connected but you're more than welcome to set it up. Bathroom is separate to toilet and has lots of storage, a large bath and great water pressure in the shower. If you have furniture and white goods, bring them, as I'll have to get new fridge, washing machine, microwave, sofas etc once the lady who also lives here moves out, but that's no drama. Kitchen has lots of storage and an inbuilt wine rack. Lounge room isn't huge but it's a decent size and enough for 6 people to relax and watch a movie while sharing pizza. The local kebab place does kebab pizzas. Now THAT is a selling point!
My lease is about to end so im looking for a new room. I'm very clean, reliable and respectful. I work and study a lot so im not home too often, but im still up for for having a chat with my housemates.

Hi Guys! My names Jade, I'm 25, and work full time as a interior architect. Looking for somewhere chilled and relaxed, people that are house trained. Generally pretty quiet as I'm working fulltime but I'm up for some drinks / dinners on the weekends.
I'm a bartender originally from Sunbury, and I enjoy screenwriting and watching TV in my spare time. I'm fairly tidy and like to clean up after myself, and I'm up for the occasional party or night out.
Hi potential housemates! Looking for a like minded person to live with. I am from Geelong and work full time in healthcare. In my spare time I love anything outdoors keeping fit, running, cycling, walking, camping and during summer the beach and maybe a surf! On the weekends I love the occasional night out with friends and family, going out for a meal and a red wine. I am sociable but also like my downtime. I am looking for someone who keeps busy but will share a laugh, the occasional dinner and a walk, absolutely must be clean and reliable. I don't have any pets but love dogs so it's on my radar. I am keen to 'team up' and find a place with someone as I have a unit at the moment with most the furnishings needed. I am not in any hurry so happy to spend time looking. Looking forward to hearing from potential housemate!!
Looking to move from Geelong into a tidy house with like minded people. Not after a party house, but instead a mix of wine and netflix and respectful alone time. I'm currently studying primary teaching and working part time in a school. I also enjoy yoga and reading and follow a vegan diet. I am a considerate housemate and easy to live with.
I'm a creative individual and I'm pursuing a career in journalism. I'm working full-time and looking for a place to stay where I'll meet down to earth, like-minded people. I'm tidy, respectful, easy-going and always more than happy to contribute to the cooking and cleaning. I'm from England and for the past year I've been living on the peninsula so I'm eager to come and be in the heart of things in the city. I appreciate my own space and quiet time but also love a good party - I'm very social and super easy to get along with. I love meeting people from all walks of life and hope this gives me the chance to do so!
