Hey, we're Victoria and Sumaid... a young couple looking for a place to stay. I (Victoria) am 25, originally from the UK and been living in Melbourne for the last 6 years. I work full time as a debt collection call centre team leader which makes me sound a lot scarier than I am... I promise I'm a nice person :) I am bubbly, outgoing and quite sociable however I appreciate my own space and privacy. I'm a clean, tidy and hygienic person to live with who is happy to help with shared cooking if desired. I like my life to be filled with laughter, conversations to be filled with real stuff and my company to enjoy the same. Sumaid is 24, originally from Pakistan and also been living in Melbourne for the last 6 years. Sumaid works full time in an Italian restaurant in the city. He is also an outgoing, sociable person that enjoys getting outdoors and experiencing everything the western world has to offer! We met here in Melbourne through a mutual friend back in December 2016 and have been dating ever since. We are looking for a room that would be big enough for two; furnished or unfurnished. We would ideally like to pay no more than $300 per week altogether ($150 pp, pw) with minimum bond if possible as we are currently paying off debts and saving to travel next year. We would be happy to pay full months worth of bond if able to be paid in two installments :) If you have anything suitable or are willing to negotiate, please get in contact. We will be happy to meet and see if we all gel with one another (errrr, I hate that saying). Thanks for reading! Vic
I'm a very confident, social person who enjoys making new friends trying new things. I'm currently at university studying Osteotherapy, and also work casually in the port of melbourne and port of Geelong on the tug boats assisting in docking ships coming from all over the world. I enjoy nights in watching netflix and going out to cafes and bars to share a drink and socialise.
A clean, recently renovated 3 bedroom home in a quiet area. House is located close to supermarkets and Yarraville village (yay brunch!). Nearby are also McDonald's, 7/11 and Cellarbrations (yay bad life choices!), however if you are one for the drunken munchies it might be worth noting that Maccas is only open until midnight. Sad. :( Okay, now for the serious stuff: - Light filled unfurnished bedroom with BIR, large enough for QB and drawers - Two lounge areas - Large kitchen with modern appliances incl dishwasher - Off street parking available for a small car, or plenty of on street parking available (no permit required) - Shared bathroom with one other person (master bedroom has ensuite) - 10 minute walk to Yarraville train station, 15 minute ride into the CBD. Trains run frequently as Werribee, Laverton and Williamstown lines go through Yarraville. - NBN - Ducted heating throughout house, and split system A/C in lounge room **House is fully furnished, however once our current housemate moves out there will be plenty of room in the back lounge if you have furniture.**
Things I like to do: - Watch movies on Netflix - Play videogames - Meet new people - Learn from different cultures - Learn new languages Things I'm not: - Noisy - Drinker - Messy - Selfish Things I am or I can do: - Spanish Teacher - Friendly - Tidy - Help cleaning - Help with techy stuff - Good English

Hi there :) Looking to move as soon as possible! We are Emma and John, young(ish) Scottish couple looking for a place to live until the end of July. The only reason we won't commit to longer than that at the moment is down to the fact that sponsorship might take a while and we might have to go off and do regional work at the end of July/start of August. We are here on a WHV, but aiming for permanent residency. John is a sound technician and I am currently temping in office and looking for permanaent work, I have a human rights degree and experience in events. Ideally I'll be working in the not for profit sector. (We do have savings and John is working so please don't let my temping put you off). John usually works long days (sometimes 10 hours +) and occasionally is working away on a big on tours for a few weeks at a time! We are looking for either flat/house share, a studio, or 1 bed - we really aren't too fussy! Trying to save where we can so $350 all in would be max :) We are currently in Yarraville and are quite fond of the west! So it'd be a bonus if you were around that area. We are clean and neat, non-smokers and aren't big party animals. So whilst we are looking for somewhere fun and relaxed, we'd prefer not to live in a party house. We would also prefer something either furnished or part furnished, we do have a some savings so paying for some things won't be an issue, we'd just prefer to save where we can... (visas ain't cheap). Easy train access to the city is a must, the ability to decipher a Scottish accent is a bonus! :) Let us know if you need any more info. Thanks
Hi, I’m Belinda I’m friendly easy going and very clean and respectful I am looking for a quiet home to share with people who are respectful of others personal space and property. Hi, I'm Jack, a 23 year-old qualified botanist (BScHons) that enjoys gardening, cooking and bush walks on weekends. I work full time as a consultant in Port Melbourne and am currently living in Kingsville. As my lease is coming to an end, I'd like to find a place close to work. Lets catch up for a chat!
Hey there, I'm Jess. I'm a friendly, down to earth woman, I'm very social although also enjoy my own company. I'm currently working full time and studying paramedics. As a housemate I'm tidy and respectful. I'm always up for a meal, a beverage (or two) or just a chat at the end of the day. During my free time I enjoy listening to music, catching up with friends, gym, gigs, reading and making things with my hands whether its cooking, sewing or art. Look forward to chatting with you soon!
Hi lovely people! What am I looking for? - Somewhere fun to stay with awesome housemates - Looking to stay for either a few months or for the long haul with the option of subletting my room when I go off for more than a month at a time (e.g. going to europe sometime this year) - Would be great to have outdoors or sports loving housemates that enjoy things like climbing, cycling, hiking, tennis or whatever else - A backyard would be amazing Why would you want me as a housemate? - I'm out of the house most of the time, working, I have things on most evenings and I'm often out for days or longer at a time on outdoorsy adventures - When I'm around, I like to be social, have a chat, share a beer or a wine, a meal, a movie or anything else happening - Got plenty of board games, and always keen on games nights - I have a car with plenty of space and a towball to help cart around big things - I enjoy working on projects around the house, and keen to do some gardening (by way of experimentation!) Frequently asked questions: - I was born here. Lived in NZ for awhile, and now back in Melbourne - I'm house trained. I'm not a neat freak, but believe things work nicer when dishes are cleaned soon after they are used (or the morning after if it's near bed time), objects are not blocking the walkways, and lawns are mowed - No dramas whatsoever about anyone's race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation - Left leaning, not that others need to be, but we'd probably get along better if we all were :) What you should know that might be an issue: - I would like a place where couchsurfers or visitors (anyone's) are welcome time to time - I like dumpster diving and won't hesitate to join anyone else willing or invite others - I'm mostly vegetarian but don't care what others eat / don't eat. Happy to be vegan in the house if others are

House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
I'm a 25 year old engineer from Ireland, on a year long visa in Melbourne. I've just started a 6+ month job in Yarraville, and am looking for a room in the area. I'll be working 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. I'll be spending most of my evenings and weekends in the local area, and occasionally going to out to the CBD. I'm easy-going and sociable, but not a big party-person. I'll be in bed before midnight each weeknight. I'll enjoy making friends with my housemates, sharing meals, and going for a beer with them on some weekends. I'm looking to move into a room ASAP, to be closer to my work.

Hi my name's Murray, my house is located on the border of Yarraville/Seddon so the best of both worlds & a close walk to trains, cafes & bars for either suburb. The area has a great cafe/restaurant precinct, local art house cinema, beaches, parks etc. & also very close to the city (just 10 mins by train). The room itself is large & comes with decent wardrobe space, split system air conditioning, ceiling fan, hydronic heating for the colder months & includes a 46" widescreen TV in your bedroom complete with included Netflix & Chromecast, so all you need is a bed. All modern conveniences including a good kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with a garden outlook, walk in shower & spa bath & also a 2nd separate toilet to the one that's in the bathroom. Also a nice medium sized backyard garden that gets a great breeze from the bay on hotter days so a good place for a beer or wine. The rent is $300/week including bills. Of course in the end it's also important to live with the right person. I have a 4 year old pug/zu cross dog called Sophie so you need to like dogs. Sophie can make off with your socks if you leave your bedroom door open :) If you have a dog that is most likely ok but not sure how my dog would cope with a cat :) I'm a non smoker so would prefer someone who's the same but can cope with a considerate smoker however outside only. I'm in my 50's but still have a 30 year old mindset & I love to cook & share a meal & wine or beer, take the dog to the local beach or the many local off-leash dog parks, I guess the normal things everyone enjoys. I hope you're interested in taking a look at the room & house. I'm looking forward to meeting my new housemate soon:) Cheers, Murray. 2nd Toilet Room not available to couples, singles only please BBQ Spa Bath Front Loading Washer & Dryer Modern Kitchen with Dishwasher & Coffee Machine Hydronic Heating & Air Conditioning Security System Heating & Cooling 46 inch widescreen TV & Netflix/Chromecast included with room Hi Speed unlimited NBN 100/40 WiFi included Hydronic Heating & Air Conditioning in room Large wardrobe space
I'm a 33yo professional looking for a cool person to share my 2 bedroom apartment with. It's located in Seddon, very close to public transport and Seddon shops. Looking for someone like minded, and easy to get along with. Place is fully furnished and the spare room has a double bed, side table and lamp. You are more than welcome to use these or I can remove if you have your own furniture. If you like the Simpsons and AFL we will get along just fine :-)
I’m an easy going, down to earth osteopath and part time student. I love to counterbalance work by seeing my friends and getting outside - anywhere! I’m seeking a sociable share house where we can all hang out together and feel comfortable in our home. Whether this be exploring new cafes, sharing a bottle of vino or indulge in a Netflix binge session I’m down. I am also independent and value having time by myself to read, paint and contemplate life in the shower. I am an adaptable open person who is happy to work together on how we can make our place into a fun restorative little oasis.
Hey, my name is Ajay (FYI; 29, single, born & raised in Melbourne & Indian background ) and I am working full time hours in hospitality. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. I enjoy to the gym, cooking and enjoying outdoors activities. With work and hobbies, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it) but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.

Pretty chilled and easy going. Enjoy having stimulating chats abouts anything and everything. Enjoy a nice glass of red or a beer now and then with friends. Happy to have 'family dinners together. I respect other people space and enjoy having me time as well. I can pretty much stock a new house with some couches etc so you'll just need to bring your bed and shizz.
I moved from Daylesford to a temporary apartment, and I'm looking for a place to stay long-term. I'm a hardworking student and I'm friendly and respectful. I like making art and music, exercise, going to the pub, reading and studying.
Hi, I'm a quiet, respectful seasoned house-sharer. Well traveled, with an arts background (VCA) currently doing a PhD. I like to socialize mostly outside of the house and keep home a chill place. I enjoy meeting friends at the pub, checking out op shops and art galleries. Looking to share with someone who has their own things going on, but is open to a chat when we cross paths. The occasional shared dinner would be nice also if schedules permit.
I'm 24 years old studying business at Victoria University at Footscray Park. I was born and raised in Canada and have been in Melbourne for almost 3 years now. I Love to listen to music and go for a drive. Enjoy cooking but also like to try different restaurants.
Hi, I'm Jess and I work a lot - Mon-Sat 8:30am-6pm (good for you not so good for me haha) Need to find a clean home ASAP with one like-minded person. Predominantly vegetarian, and I'm a green smoothies for breakfast kind of girl. Moving from the East to the West so keen to explore what's on offer! I like my home to be my space to recharge, whether you're up for a chat or want alone time I'm easy. My typical evening is come home from work, have dinner, chill out with tv or laptop and pass out into bed. My interests include music, yoga, pilates, eating, drinking, binge watching tv, the usual stuff. I have been living on my own for a few years so have all furniture and white goods. I'd like to keep them with me but it's not a deal breaker (Honestly I am expecting to have to store them) I'd prefer not to live with pets :)
Hey, I am super friendly, chill and down to earth and enjoy meeting new people. I am currently studying and working part-time as well. I have lived in share houses before and I love the concept of it. I really respect and value one's privacy and take that very seriously. I love helping out with the house chores and cooking too. Please do hit me up if you any questions!

I like to keep things clean (especially kitchen/food areas!) and will always clean up after myself, but I'm tolerant of others' muddles and believe in keeping a good vibe where I live. I like to have conversations with my housemates, and occasionally share a drink or a meal, but I also understand people's need for their own space and time (and I do like my alone time myself!). I work as a geologist, but I have just returned from 12 months in Europe travelling and teaching English! When I'm not at work you may find me at circus classes, hula hooping, Spanish lessons or salsa classes :)
