Female 45 years old with own business working from home (online). looking for quite accommodation either on own or with one other person. 6 months or more, preferred. A small secure yard is preferable as I have a mature miniature (toy) poodle that does not shed and is house trained. I keep to myself mostly but when appropriate am happy to have conversation and a quiet drink. I am flexible with peoples work hours and am accustomed to shift worker's schedules.
Hello, I'm Tara. I am 30 and I run my own business from home, and sometimes do casual reception work in South Melbourne. Hobbies: Dancing, YouTubing, reading, traveling. Preference 1: my own studio unit/flat Preference 2: share a house with ONE other person I need two rooms, preferably with my own bathroom Based in the inner Western suburbs. Prefer staying in West Footscray/Yarraville/Kingsville. Would consider moving to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, Maribyrnong, Ascot Vale and Kensington. Parking should be available, for my little red Ford Festiva. Prefer unfurnished as I have my own furniture. Awesome things about me: - self-sufficient (I never steal food. I provide for myself) - private, quiet, busy - health-conscious. I never eat meat at home. - drug-free, debt-free - I clean as I go Personality: Quiet, but can be talkative when it comes to certain subjects. Mentally strong, smart. I have a sense of humour Currently renting a shoebox two-bedroom flat in West Footscray. The landlord has no problem with me and was happy to offer another 12-month lease, but I am taking my Body Corp to court for something. I cannot stay here for much longer. Besides, climbing lots of stairs is bad for my sensitive back. Would be nice to move into ground-floor accommodation. I think we would get along if you are: - someone who likes to sleep by midnight - not an alcoholic (my definition is...you drink every day). I drink socially about once or twice a week. - busy and have real hobbies - are in a good place financially (working, between the age of 28 to 45) - understand that I'm paying rent for privacy, peace and quiet (I'm an introvert, not an extrovert. I can be civil and friendly, but am not obliged to be your psychologist) - clean, but not OCD clean - no shouting at me; please approach in a calm and civil manner to discuss issues. Say "Please and thank you" I did public speaking for four years and I am passionate about communication. Texting and emailing can often lead to misunderstandings. If the issue is major, speak to me in person or call. Choose the right communication mode! These rules would go for me too! I would only share with one other person, to keep things simple. I can afford up to 350 per week. I am happy to pay for gas, water, electricity and Internet but NOT Foxtel or Netflix. Thanks very much; hope to speak to you soon. Tara

I'm a Norwegian who's been living in Melbourne for 5 years now. Back home I used to work as a school psychologist, but left my life there to be a stay-home-dad in sunny and warm Australia. Had a few amazing years here with my two kids and a lot of gardening! The last year I have been doing some casual truck driving in and around Melbourne, mostly just to get back into "real life" I guess. Being in the midst of separating from my wife, there's a lot of loose threads at the moment. I'm looking to buy something in the next 6-12 months, but need to get a more stable working-arrangement going first. Having said that, my finances are decent and I always pay my rent on time :) As a person I'm pretty laid back and easy going. I'm into gardening, cycling, movies, books and the occasional bottle of red wine. I also plan on taking up rock climbing and yoga in near future. I like the company of others and wouldn't mind sharing dinners every now and then, but I do appreciate my own private time. My two kids (4 yr old daughter & 5 yr old son) will live their mum in Yarraville until I get set up properly, but obviously will come by every now and then to hang around a bit and maybe spend a few nights if I can fit them... You'll love them! Thanks for reading!
My name is Juliette, I am a 19 yr old student. I am a friendly, bright, bubbly girl and get along with everyone... as much as I like a social life I also like quiet time to myself. I am seeking accomodation which I hope to be long term. I am currently staying with a family friend in a house that’s a little too small for us, so it’s time I looked for my own thing. I’d like to meet with any one that I’d potentially share a house with to see if it would be a great match. Please ask me any questions, I’d be happy to answer.
I work full-time as a bartender, and spend a lot of my free time at my partner's place. When I am home, however, I enjoying indulging in and sharing an abundance of coffee, nice beers and relaxed chats. I've been living in sharehouses for the past four years, so am entirely house-broken. At the least, I'll respect you, your home, your privacy and your belongings, and at the most we'll all sleep in cuddle piles every other night.
Hi, potential house/flatmates :) I am a positive, social and very active 24 Year old who is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Nursing. Don't let the title of student deter you, I still work part-time and previously worked as a Finance Consultant before returning to study. Enough about my background as a flatmate I love Art, Music and reading combined with a cuppa but I will also binge watch Netflix. I am extremely tidy (bed made first thing everyday kinda guy) and love a clean kitchen and bathroom. I don't discriminate, I enjoy the company of all people :) but I am also content on my own for those who like privacy. Outside of the house, I'm probably out for coffee or dinner with friends, if not I'll be playing some kind of sport, cycling or surfing. I couldn't be more honest than whats written above ^ any questions please feel free to contact me and check out my social media pages.
I come from Belgium. I come in Australia to study Sport Sciences during 3/4 mounths in Victoria University. I'm clean, easy going and sociable. I really want to meet new people, discover the town and the country.
I'm friendly, clean and quiet. I don't like parties, I'm not a drinker or a smoker, no pets either. I'm sociable and considerate of space. I pay rent on time, I like to cook and I am tidy. I work full time in the funeral industry so usually after work I'll be somewhere quiet to relax, which is the type of place I'm looking for. I spend every third week on call, so may need to leave at any hour but I'll make the least amount of noise possible. I like to travel, I like history, museums and such. When I'm bored, I'll usually go to one of the zoos or out for coffee or a meal with friends or family. I'm searching for a place that doesn't throw house parties without enough notice to stay somewhere else for the night (if I'm working/on call this is important) and doesn't stay loud after 10pm.
Hi I'm Kim. I work part time as a drug and alcohol counsellor and study a masters in art therapy. I am down to earth, creative, generally bubbly I'd love a home not just a bedroom plus people I can feel comfortable with. I come with a beautiful ginger cat who is well behaved and lovable. I love cooking, art, yoga, gigs and community. Not looking for a party house but I don't mind social gatherings just because I have a hectic job. Looking forward to chatting kim xxx
Hey everyone, My name is Declan, I'm looking to move somewhere closer to my school (Swinburne senior secondary collage) looking for somewhere with a comute no longer than around an hour-ish, but not to fussed where. I have lived in many share houses so I have a far understanding of a healthy sharehouse dinamic. I am very mature and laid back. I love socialising but not a big partier. I usually keep to myself but love a communal meal and a good chat every now and then. I am a full time art student and have classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. When I'm not at school I'm usually creating art, chilling with friends or gardening. I am gay. and 17 but I am very mature for my age since I have been living on my own since I was 14. I'm pretty flexible with moving dates but I'd prefer to move sooner rather than later. I always pay rent and bills on time and am clean. I also have a kitten who usually just chills out in my room she is well behaved and toilet trained. I'm also open to starting a new share house. Message me know if your interested, Cheers 😊
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
23YO male working full time as a project engineer in construction. Enjoys exercise, outdoors and socialising. Down to earth, easy to get along with. I have lived in share houses before, I am tidy and respectful of others. I enjoy my own space at times but also enjoy hanging out with housemates.
Typically keep to ourselves hence the interest in a place for ourselves if possible. But living with others we are tidy and very respectable of privacy and others belongings. Not great at it but I like cooking. We are both outdoorsy and spend a lot of time out of the house doing stuff. We are both from rural Victoria and have moved to Melbourne for study.

We've been living in Melbourne around 2 years, we both work during the days and also we have some shifts during the night on weekends (around 2 in a month). We are easy going, tidy and we are already used to live in a house share, we like to enjoy the life with our friends or just have a chilling day at home.
During the weekdays I'll be at Victoria University, footscray park, for my internship. In the evenings and in the weekend I'm totally in for some socialising but I'm also fine on my own and I'm looking for a place that will give me some privacy. I'm down to earth, easy going and always try to keep everything clean. Besides that I'm always down for a drink and a laugh.
I am full time school teacher, who is clean and tidy. I spend most of my spare time training at a powerlifting club or playing sport locally. I am sociable and easy going but also respect peoples privacy. Cheers, Ben
It’s been 2 years I have been living sharing flat and house. I would love to share a flat with someone who maintains cleanliness. And is friendly and easy to cope up with. I am looking for room of 600-650 $ including bills.... Near to city preferred 20-30 mins . Thank you
I'm 26 and moved to Australia permanently a year go, and I've been living in a flatshare in Southbank. Now I'm hoping to get amongst things in the Melbourne suburbs. I work full-time at VicRoads as a Project Engineer in the CBD. I love music and play guitar myself. I love sport too but still trying to get my head around footy! I also enjoy spending time with good people having a drink and good food, and getting outdoors too. I'm Sri Lankan originally but grew up in Abu Dhabi. I lived in London and Hong Kong before Melbourne, so have been sharing flats for a while now.

Hi, I'm Nicole! A bit about me: I'm 29 and work full time in banking. I've also returned to study part time this year, completing a degree through USQ which is all online so I'll be pretty busy! I absolutely love to travel, I love food (both eating and cooking), the outdoors, animals and winding down at the end of the week with a glass of wine. I have a four year old cat, Pippa, who is an indoor cat, very friendly and loves a cuddle or to chase a piece of string around the house. I'm always clean and tidy and am looking for a flatmate who is the same - but in saying that I'm not a super clean freak. Ideally I'm interested in teaming up with 1 other person of a similar age, someone who is happy to socialise and maybe share a meal now and again but also keen on their own space. I don't want a party house but do want to be flexible with having friends over for dinner occasionally. I'd prefer to find a new rental property with someone rather than join an existing house, somewhere in the vicinity of $250 each per week. I've lived alone for the last year and so have pretty much everything for a house except for a washing machine and dryer, as my apartment supplied those. I'm hoping to find a 2 - 3 bedroom place with 2 bathrooms and either a balcony or outdoor space. At this stage I'm looking to move in early April, and hoping for somewhere around St Kilda, Elwood, Brighton, Elsternwick or surrounding suburbs. Also open to areas around West Footscray, Seddon or Yarraville. Let me know if you are interested in meeting! Nicole
Hi! We're looking for a nice place to move to in preparation for winter months as current place with good location and housemates is an old Victorian house without heating nor insulation. Cristina is on her last sem of MBA-Acctg soon applying for TR and doing casual Work at Vic Uni, Gwen is a PR finishing her MBA and working full-time and Mark works full time as a tradee. We are a very chill group of friendly mature Filipinos, hardworking, respectful of each others privacy, enjoy cooking and meals together with good conversations, occasional home movies, pasta and wine nights once in a while. We clean as we go and are pretty organized around the house. No problems as we pay on time or in advance. Looking forward to hearing from you. :)
I'm a quiet, introverted person working 4 days per week in the city. My 2 companion animals (dog + cat) are quiet and live inside with me; they come with references should they be needed, and they currently live with other dogs and cats so they'll be fine with yours should you have any.
