Hi, I'm James, 22yr old undergrad student from the UK who will undertake two internships in near Melbourne (Altona and Truganina) as part of my degree until Sept 2026, so I'm ideally looking for a room for the year. As a person, I'm calm and polite, more on the quiet side if I don't know you too well, but when we get closer and more comfortable around each other, I tend to joke around a lot and become less stiff/reserved. If you're interested in my personality type, I'm an ISFP (I took a test but I'm not quite sure what it means for myself). Hobbies/interests include all sports (specifically rugby or any U.S sport), I like to stay in shape (gym, running). I like watching movies and tv shows (some favourites are Lord of the Rings, Sopranos, House of the Dragon). Also enjoy a good pint, whether chilling at home or going out. I have prior experience in living in a shared flat/house, living with both girls and guys. As a flat/housemate, I'm low-maintenance, I know how to take care of myself and belongings, I'm clean whether that be in the bathroom/kitchen/bedroom/living room. When in the house, I evenly split my time between my room and the living/social area, enjoying hanging out and chatting with others whilst also valuing my personal time. In terms of my values/beliefs, just be kind and respectful and I will do the same. I'm accepting of all beliefs, provided they don't interfere with and don't harm others.
