Hi there! My name is Biffy (yes, I know. It's ridiculous.) I am an author and teacher and am looking for short/long-term accomodation, furnished or unfurnished, to tide me over between an end of lease and looking for and moving into a purchased place. I have just started looking, however, so the length of time is very flexible for the right fit. I do have a dog! His name is Bill, and he’s a six month old American Bulldog x American Staffy (which basically means he’s built like a tank, but doesn’t shed and only barks when he remembers how to, which isn’t often.) He's a legend, and fully house-trained. I also work a lot from home quite a bit being a Super Pretentious Author-Lady, so he doesn't get left by himself a great deal. Ideally I'd be looking for the privacy of a granny flat, one room studio, or house-sitting if someone needs their plants watered while they gallivant overseas. I can even keep monsteras alive! I'm clean to an occasionally concerning level, though not as tidy unless I'm in 'the zone'. I also LOVE organising and fixing things. Honestly. I am dying for a shopping centre to open that literally just consists of a Bunnings, Officeworks, a container store and a plant shop. Omg. Absolute heaven. I have and do treat anyone's home with as much love, care and respect as I would hope anyone would do for me. I listed a bunch of preferred suburbs but honestly location doesn’t really matter, since the alternative is the fold out couch at my parent’s place while my dog lives with my cousin. Horrifying!

I’m friendly, reliable, and very home-proud. Not huge on small talk, but I can manage when needed! I’m looking for a small, self-contained space—ideally a studio apartment, granny flat, or unit where I can have complete privacy and not have to share common areas. I’m not really interested in a house-share situation, as I value my independence and quiet time but I am open to it as I want more options open for myself.
