    John

    $350/week62 year old man

Hello, I’m John, 62. I’m a calm, tidy, and respectful person looking for a self‑contained granny flat or studio to call home in the Newcastle area. I’m currently staying in a caravan, which has been tough on my wellbeing, and I’m keen to settle somewhere stable so I can focus on my health and getting back into work. I value a peaceful, well‑kept home and will treat your property with care. About me: - Quiet lifestyle: non‑smoker, rarely drink, no parties. I respect privacy and keep noise low. - House‑proud: I clean regularly, keep outdoor areas neat, and report issues promptly. Happy to help with light gardening or basic upkeep if needed. - Reliable and considerate: I’m punctual with rent and responsive with communication. I get along well with neighbours and follow house rules. - Active and positive: I enjoy NRL, tennis, swimming, and daily walks. I’m easy‑going, friendly, and mindful of shared spaces. -I can provide references, 100‑point ID, and proof that I can meet rent (savings/Centrelink). I can pay bond and rent in advance. What I’m looking for: - A self‑contained granny flat or studio with its own bathroom and separate entry (kitchenette or full kitchen is great). - Location: Newcastle and nearby suburbs such as Mayfield, Waratah, Lambton, Jesmond, Wallsend, Charlestown, Glendale, and similar. I’m flexible and open to suggestions. - Budget: up to $350 per week. - Lease: 6–12 months (happy to discuss longer); routine inspections welcomed. - Timing: available to move in ASAP; flexible with inspection times. - Furnishings: furnished or unfurnished is fine. - Parking: off‑street parking preferred b - Access: ground‑floor access would be a bonus. - I’ll keep your place clean, report maintenance early, and respect your property like it’s my own. - I’m courteous with neighbours and mindful of strata/house rules. - I’m straightforward to deal with and appreciate clear, honest communication. - I’m looking for a stable, long‑term home—consistency and respect matter to me. If you have a suitable granny flat or studio, I’d love to hear from you. I can view at short notice and provide references and documents right away. Thank you for your time — John —

    Laura and Tarni

    $350/week24-25 year old women

Hello, we're Laura & Tarni! Two mates on the hunt for a home together in early October (alongside with Tarni's pup Cardi). Here's a little about all of us individually: Laura - 25 year old full-time social worker and also (somehow) a part-time post-grad student (studying a post graduate diploma in Youth Mental Health online at UniMelb). I am renowned for my banter and cheekiness with my mates and am a bit of an ambivert - so basically, I love a night in and a night out basically equally. I spend my spare time going to live music related events, playing video games (PS, Switch, PC gaming btw), hanging out with my mates, and doing a little bit of travel where the opportunity presents itself to me. I take pride in my space and really do love a clean space that feels homely and loved. In terms of housemates, I'd ideally love a housemate that I can have a yarn with and trust in terms of household duties. Tarni - 24 year old full-time student at JMC Academy (Sydney) studying a bachelor of Entertainment Buisness Management, working up and down the coast in event crewing and band management. My hobbies include music, reading, fashion, seeing my friends and having a chat - basically I love being busy and on the go most of the time! I'd describe myself as down to earth, super outgoing and reliable. I am also pretty spontaneous and will almost always be down for anything. Overall, I'd love someone to join Laura & I who enjoys a chat and is able to be reliable in terms of chores etc. Cardi - Typically referred to as Ms. Cardi B, she is Tarni's literal pride and joy over the last seven years. She's a cocker spaniel x staffy and is the sweetest dog to ever exist! Her favourite activity in the entire world is to cuddle and get pats. To describe Cardi, she is an absolute sweetheart and overall has a great nature, very gentle and kind. She also responds to a variety of nicknames that start with "car". Some of Tarni's favourites include: Carpark, Cardigan, and Carbonara. If you have any further questions or want to catch up with us to check out the vibe, flick a message and we will organise something! :)
