    $300/week26 year old woman

Hello! My name is Brooke, and I'm a 25 year old full time PhD student looking for a place to call home. I've lived in sharehouses for a decade and am clean & respectful. I can provide references from my current housemate (5 years), and other personal references if helpful. - I'm quite active, enjoy being outdoors, and am not much of a night owl. - I value a positive and comfortable household dynamic, and want to build friendship, respect and trust with fellow housemates. I love occasional group dinners & board game nights, however also value a fair amount of alone time and frequently retreat to my room to read, play piano (with headphones!), do lego, puzzles etc. That being said, I'm approachable and welcome impromptu chats about anything and everything. - I take care of the lawn at my current place and am happy to do the same at a new place, if mower/snipper is available. - I'd like to share a bathroom with max one other person. - I'm not neurotic, but do value a clean kitchen. I clean up after myself and appreciate housemates that do the same. - I have a good fridge/freezer that can be the main fridge, or a backup in the garage/laundry (as it is currently). - I have a bike & 2 surf boards. If there's a garage-type space, I'd ideally like to store there, however I can store them in the room if big enough. - I can guarantee a weekly fun fact. - While I don't have one and won't be getting one, I love dogs. So if you have one, that's more than fine with me. - I have a car. I don't need undercover parking, but a place with free & relatively easy parking is ideal. Either driveway or street. Please shoot through any questions! Thanks for reading, hope to hear from you :)

    $220/week32 year old woman

Hello, My name is Faye Lee, and I am currently seeking a share house in Newcastle. As I understand how competitive the rental market can be, I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself in a detailed and personal way. I am a 32-year-old woman on a working holiday visa. I graduated from Sookmyung Women’s University in Korea, majoring in Visual Design, and have worked as a graphic designer for many years. Before turning 30, I applied for the Australian working holiday visa, not wanting to miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Two months ago, I finally made the leap and arrived in Australia. In Korea, my work as a designer often kept me seated at a desk, so I decided to explore something completely different during my time here. I obtained a White Card and a Forklift Driver’s License and began applying for warehouse positions. This led me to an exciting opportunity in Newcastle. While I’ve secured a job, I’m still looking for a home that suits me. I don’t drink or smoke, and I am a Christian. I get along well with housemates and take pride in being clean and tidy. I am a quiet person who enjoys reading, working on design projects, and occasionally going out for a run or a road bike ride. I’ve also been dreaming of learning to surf during my time in Australia! Additionally, I adore dogs and would be thrilled to live in a home with one. My workplace is located between Warabrook and Mayfield, so being close to this area would be ideal. However, I prefer a place without overly long minimum stay requirements. I am ready to move in immediately and would be delighted to hear from you if you think I might be a good fit for your home. Thank you for your time and consideration. Warm regards, Faye Lee
