Hi, I'm Aastha, and I am an international student at the University of Newcastle pursuing my postgraduate studies. As my lease ends in March 2025, I am currently looking for a single room for myself.
My friends describe me as easygoing, honest, and independent. In my free time, I enjoy staying at home, watching series, reading books, or listening to music.
I am an accounting major and usually work around 24 hours a week at my part-time job, in addition to my studies at the university.
I tend to be more introverted than extroverted, but I connect well with my roommates, having lived with several before. I also value my alone time. While I don't mind if my roommates have small gatherings, I would appreciate being informed about them in advance. I'm open to sharing meals or doing activities together if that’s what you prefer.
I like to keep common living spaces clean. I do my dishes every day and tidy up my belongings when I get home. I'm also open to creating a cleaning schedule to keep things organized. I don't smoke, but if you do, that's acceptable.
My weekly budget is $200, and I'm looking to move in as soon as possible. Ideally, I would like a room near New Lambton, Hamilton, or Waratah, close to a bus stop or other transportation options. I would like my own bedroom and am open to living with 1 to 4 other people. If the bedrooms vary in size and price, I am willing to consider both larger and smaller rooms.
