I grew up in the greater Brisbane region and I am moving to Adelaide to commence a PhD project at the Adelaide Medical School. My background is in exercise and nutrition sciences, though I have recently gained an interest in computer science and biotechnologies. I have only visited Adelaide briefly and hence know little about the lay of the land. I would love to stay in a place that is close to the city via public transport, ideally with one other person. If possible, it would be great to have a nice view and natural lighting. Through the week, most of my time will be devoted to my PhD project. I value socialising and adventuring, so I will most likely be out and about on weekends. Additionally, my family and girlfriend live in Brisbane so I plan on coming back to visit once every month or so (for three/four days). My ideal environment is minimal, clean and organised. I love nature and use natural products. I am accommodating, respectful and independent because I ultimately want a share arrangement that is peaceful and comfortable for both myself and my flatmate/s.
One bedroom available in a newly renovated townhouse in a great location in North Adelaide. The house is two storey, furnished, ducted heating/cooling, dishwasher, and unlimited internet. We live super close to bus stops and it is an easy stroll into the city. If you are headed to uni, the walk is lovely going along the Torrens & through Botanic Park. If you don't have any furniture you can have anything that's in the room (open wardrope, shelves, boxes, mirror, mattress topper, pillows, quilt), otherwise let me know and I can get rid of it so you have an empty space. We're looking for someone who's easy going and tidy to go on the lease. The lease ends in April and has been renewed every year we've lived here (for about 3 years). The real estate agency conducts inspections every 3 months. If this sounds like your kind of place, send us a message and tell us a bit about yourself!
Hey! A bit about me: • Studying a Master of Project Management at UniSA and enjoying it • Enjoy lifting weights, running, and eating a healthy diet • Love music and write poetry nearly everyday • Looking for a house with a bit of a community feel to it, such as doing some gardening together once a month or occasionally having dinner together • My expectations are that people are reasonably friendly, respectful, and clean, and that no one has a drug or alcohol problem; and that basic appliances are working. Cheers :) Josh
Hi there! My name is Virginie and I'm a French Native Speaker from Belgium. I’m an Online French Tutor who loves traveling, meeting people, discovering new cultures, and living new experiences. I do enjoy my regularly practice of meditation and yoga. In 2013, I went on a voyage across Australia. Then I settled and lived in Queensland for almost 4 years before moving back home for a while. Today, I’m back in Australia to make the most of my visa ending in February 2020. Currently in Adelaide, I’m looking for a room for the next 5 weeks. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hi my name is Georgia, from the UK. I'm Brazilian. I've been worked in a organic farm for the past 5 years. I'm vegetarian, but flexible in certain social occasions. I don't drink, don't smoke and don't use drugs. I like simple things like cooking and take a walk in the beach. I love sports, yoga, hiking... and I play guitar and flute as hobby. I like to live in clean and organized places. Usually, I don't spend much time watching TV or surfing in the web, I'd rather stay outdoors moving my body. Meet people from other cultures and living in heterogeneous group is a very interesting experience for me to have. I've abroad a few times, I spent the hole 2012 year working as a volunteer in a humanitarian organization. I'm very tolerant and easy going. I practice meditation twice a day when it's possible.
HI guys! I'm looking for a house that can be a home for all housemates. I'd love if we could all get along, have a glass of wine together and relax. Would be wonderful if we could have some small gatherings, not looking for a big party house, just a house where people are warm and friendly to one another. I work full time in health administration, so am usually gone between 9-5 on weekdays. When not at work or chilling at home I like to go out to bars, movies, and take day trips to explore this beautiful state.
