$300/week•31 year old man
Hey, I’m Matt 31, working full-time in North Melbourne in turf management, and I’m currently looking for a room in a friendly, relaxed share house. I’ve lived in share houses for years now and genuinely enjoy the lifestyle — a good mix of social connection and mutual respect for personal space.
I’m tidy, always clean up after myself, and I’m that guy who actually replaces the toilet paper roll. I’m pretty independent and low-maintenance, but I’m always down for a chat in the kitchen, a shared dinner here and there, or drink after work
Outside of work, I’m really into jiu jitsu and golf — I train a couple of nights a week and usually sneak in a round of golf on the weekend when the weather’s good. I also love exploring Melbourne, whether that’s chasing down a good pub feed, live music, a hike, or just discovering new neighbourhoods and cafés. I’ve got a solid group of mates but I’m also pretty chill at home, usually winding down with a doco, a bit of Netflix, or watching the footy.
I’m not a party animal but I enjoy a social house where people get along and have a laugh. That said, I totally get the need for downtime and am happy to respect everyone’s space.
Ideally, I’m looking for a place that feels like a home — somewhere with a good balance of social and quiet, where everyone pitches in and respects each other. Bonus points if there’s a backyard or some green space, but I’m pretty flexible. I’m easy to live with, financially reliable, and always up for making a share house a great place to live.
