Relaxed mature tenant (50) that enjoys both privacy or sharing a bit of time with housemates if mutual. I'm open to different lifestyles and most opinions and I enjoy cooking and having a few drinks. I like to keep things clean and tidy without being pedantic about it. I have a car but also enjoy using my bike for transport and fun. I sometimes go away for cycling weekends. I'm open to both short and long term options if suitable.
I have a lot of plants, am house proud and clean up after myself. I'm generally pretty quietand easy going but I'm always up for a chat and a drink. LGBTQIA+ friendly. I'm negotiable on the move in date, ideally I'd move in within the next month or so
Hi! 👋 I’m moving to Melbourne at the end of October from Adelaide. I’ll be working full time in Parkville. I’m hoping to team up with an awesome person or two, but also open to moving into an existing share house. I tick the usual boxes - I pay my rent and bills on-time/early, I’m considerate of others, and tidy up after myself. I come with a whole heap of house stuff, including fridge and other kitchen stuff, washing machine, couch and dining table/chairs. I also have two awesome cats, Gigi (6) and Socks (5). Gigi is super affectionate and loves everyone (even complete strangers) and Socks loves to do her own thing. I’ve had them in many rentals before with no issues. I’ll stop writing my essay here - but if you think we might hit it off as house mates please get in touch! :)
Hi I’m Kiara 👋🏻 I’m a 26 year old professkonal working as a family violence practitioner on a casual basis (but with regular work) as I have plans on returning to uni next year to complete my masters in clinical psychology. I have a beautiful baby chihuahua who unfortunately has little dog syndrome and doesn’t get along with other animals, so future roomie must not have other pets. She is a great companion who loves cuddles, walks and chicken. I’m looking for somewhere to rent that has a backyard/courtyard. I’m a clean and tidy person and definitely not a party animal. I love my Netflix, gym and food! Rent $250pw max Ready to move whenever
Hi! I am a friendly, respectful, kind, considerate, warm, fun, communicative, genuine, honest and reliable person and am looking to share with others who are also. I have lots of house sharing experience. I’m easy going, flexible, clean and tidy and enjoy sharing. Most importantly, I seek mutually respectful and considerate shared-living relationships. I am respectful of other people’s needs, interests and privacy - appreciating both social and quiet times - and seek the same in return. I have a background in the arts, social work and am a human rights activist for refugees. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures. Currently, I work 4 days a week as well as on arts projects and events from time to time including art exhibitions and performing arts events. I am also a dancer, did contemporary in the past and have studied the Feldenkrais Method. Currently, I work in human rights - refugees. I’m an active and positive person, am interested in health and live on a plant-based diet. I go out Salsa and Latin dancing regularly and have a broad interest in ideas, music, culture, the arts, film, nature and the environment. Love to be near the sea, trees, parks and gardens and go for walks. Naturally more of a night owl than a rooster person. I respect other people’s schedules, activity, quiet, rest and sleep needs - as I would wish people to equally respect mine. Use headphones to be quiet at night or any other time working on laptop etc - flexible with functioning :-)
This is a bit like filling in an online dating profile, isn't it? I'm Jen, a Visual Designer native to Melbourne. I've recently returned to Australia after living in London for the last few years, designing book covers, and loping faraway lands. Finding my feet here again, I'm looking for a place to call home. 🏠 What makes me great to live with? I'm almost always with a rosy disposition. I'm a serial smiler. I'm an avid tea drinker. Also an avid red wine drinker when the occasion calls for it. I'm a good listener. I like to cook and share with those I care to spend time with. I'm a minimalist, meaning I'm also neat and tidy. I like to keep my personal space clean, respect common ground, but won't get upset over minor mess. Ideally I'm looking to share with other professionals similar to myself - relatively responsible during the work week, with a happy balance of other life commitments and sociability. As with my previous shares, I'd ultimately like to call my housemates friends rather than go home to people who like to hide out in their rooms never to be seen. Of course this is within reason as most of us like our own space, myself included. I'm no longer a party animal, but if you like cooking meals together and dancing around the kitchen whilst doing so, I'm your lady. Looking forward to hearing from prospective housemates. 😊
Hi! I'm Anna, I'm a 30 year old Melburnian, who has been living on the French coast for the last six months, honing my surfing skills, taking photos, working on writing projects and exploring this beautiful area of the world. I am currently in Paris and will be home on the 16th of October, ready to settle back in. I am very passionate about literature, art, design, music, architecture and existing in this world sustainably. I'm also a big fan of being active, getting out and about or relaxing with a yoga session. Generally, I'm pretty busy with work, friends, hobbies : if I am home, I like to catch up on some reading or work on a project, I generally just do my own thing, but won't say no to sharing a glass of wine or a dinner. I am timely with bills and very respectful of personal space, property, and other humans. I have been very lucky in the past to have shared spaces that have been so much more than just houses, but have been beautiful homes shared with people that have grown into long term friends. P.S I have two dependents, a couple of well nurtured and very much loved house plants.
Hello Amy and Folly here! I am a friendly, considerate and creative person who loves spending time with friends, exploring the outdoors, gardening and cooking. The reason I am looking to move North of Melbourne is to be closer to work. I don't drink alcohol or smoke. I come with an affectionate, clean and adorable 8 year old Labradoodle named Folly. Feel welcome to contact me if you think we would be a good fit!
Hello! I'm in the final stages of completing a now full-time bachelor of health science - naturopathy. I work part-time in an health food store, and sometimes in an office. Loving things extends to comedy improv, hiking, photography, exercise, escape rooms, podcasts, cooking, books and friends. My housemate credentials are some of the best you'll ever come across. Not only can I provide the house with expired health food, but I am also in possession of a fridge, washing machine, and general practical furniture things. I'm considerate, easy to approach, friendly, and can scrub toilets really really well.
Currently working as a carpenter full-time. I am very neat and tidy and always clean up after myself. I usually go the gym after work and walk the pooch. I enjoy cooking dinners and socialising in my free time 💃. looking for a friendly place to call home :)
Hi I'm a busy health professional working in a near by hospital Mon-Fri. I have a very friendly cat that will pretty much accept pats off anyone willing. I work long days and am looking to move closer to work to improve work/life balance. I enjoy a glass of wine on weekends and spend my time on weekends between chilling at home and spending time in the country. I have the furniture for a 2br apartment however could be flexible in storing some.
Brother and sister combo looking for a study friendly place to live next year (2 bedrooms). Both at university (physio and teaching) and super friendly and helpful. Looking for a place close to public transport with some space for study.
Currently living in Essendon with an awesome flatmate who is leaving for the UK early next year to live out her dreams. That means I have to move out sometime before then, preferably November or later, sooner if something great pops up. About me - I'm a 24 y.o. full-time digital designer for a printing company, working often 6 days per week. I'm a clean and respectful person, and I'm out and about for most of the week. I get along with pretty much any person or pet, I'm always up for a chat and love animals. I'm keen to live pretty much anywhere that is within 30 mins of my work commute to Thomastown, provided it is a nice home in a friendly neighborhood. Feel free to ask me any questions.
Hey there! Looking for some similar people to live with in a sharehouse. Don't mind if a join a hood or we start a new one in a new house. Preferably would like to live with 2-3 others to be able to afford a decent place but not drain the bank. I'm Extremely clean. Easy to live with. Responsible. Have a good renting record. Work multiple jobs to support a decent income. Love socialising, music, drinks and hanging out. I own/operate a music mixing and mastering business so I'd require a room to live in but also another room to work from. Ideally, I'd love to find a place which had a granny flat (separate room away from the house) where I could do my work. Hit us up if you're interested!
I've been in large houseshares for the past several years and am easy to live with. Looking for a stress free haven after a busy worklife and would be happy with something self contained. I work for City of Darebin in events, venues and libraries and appreciate a sense of community. I love animals and regularly go housesitting and pet sitting for privacy and animal contact. I also like the arts and am involved in Melbourne Spoken Word. Being close to public transport is important for work - either the 86 or 11 tram and Hurstbridge and/or South Morang lines. I'll buy a car in future but as long as I'm close to PT, it's not my highest priority. Ideally I'd prefer to stay in Northcote but have lived in West Preston which I also enjoyed. I can move any time if I find the right place but am in no hurry.
Hey there! I’m Cassidy, I’m 20 and I’ve been living in Newcastle all my life and just about to transfer to Melbourne for work. I will be working in retail in the city. Very easy-going fun person and not picky, just wanting a room in a share house soon for work. For fun I love to watch movies, go out with friends and I love making new friends!
Hi you :) I´m an exchange student from Germany doing my masters thesis at RMIT Bundoora. At the moment I´m living in Bundoora but I want to move closer to the city center, preferably close to Tram 86 because I have to get to RMIT as well ;) I´m a nice and easy person (at least my friends says so) and I´m always up for a glass of wine and chatting. I like going out with friends for great food and music. So if you have a room available just let me know, I would love to come by and get to know you :)
I work part time in mental health and spend my free time away hiking/camping, having a boogie, doing yoga and questioning the very fabric of reality. I'm a pretty positive and upbeat person who will bring impromptu dancing and shower singing to the house. I'm fairly social and I get along well with most people, but also like, and respect others', solo time and space. I'm also a stellar communicator and would love to live in a place where open communication is a value. Also, the kind of place you can feel is your sanctuary, both the home and the housemates, from the sometimes soul-crushing world.
Hey hey :) **Please Read first Before Sending Requests** Im a friendly, easy going person that enjoys living a simple life. I'm currently living at home as I've been a carer for my mum for a number of years though circumstances have now changed and I'm now looking to move out on my own with the right person/people :) I do have some bedroom furniture, so I'd prefer a room that could accommodate for that. Im happy to clean up after myself and keep a tidy lifestyle as well as participating in the household chores so long as its deligated between the housemates equally :) Looking forward to meeting the right housemate and answering any questions you might have :)
Focus on my Uni and work Love to watch movies/TV shows with wine when I am free Very relax and layed back. I don't like too much noise. Neat person and I like to clean after myself
We are two high-school friends from QLD both working part time and studying full time at La Trobe. Our lease runs out in February next year and we are looking for somewhere else to move as we will not be renewing our current lease. We're both easy going, clean and respectful humans. When we're not studying or working we like to watch some Netflix and have a cheeky Bev or 3 and play some cards. Shoot us a message if you have two rooms that would suit or would be keen to find a place to start our own share house :)
My name is Andrew, and i work full time in construction. I am very easy going, friendly and respectful. Very clean and tidy. When I'm not working I like to ride my bike and try to learn the saxaphone (not at home dont stress ) Alot of my spare time is burnt up between gym and studying part time too Looking for off street parking ( I have alot of tools in my car) And also an ensuite preferably. Hello, guys! My name is Cindy, I am a 31 years old Colombian student looking for a flat with maximum 2 bedrooms, located in Preston, Kensington, Coburg, brunswick or Pascoe Vale. A little about myself, I am currently studying a certificate III in individual support, and volunteering in the Hospital of Williamstown. I have lived in Yarraville for around a year, but have to move out due to long distances to my activities location. I go to school in the city and also go to church in Coburg on a regular basis. I am respectful and nice, looking for a flatmate to whom I can speak only in English to improve my language skills. I like to socialize, although I really enjoy having my own space. In a cap: I love to travel, read, road trips, get to know people from other cultures, and sharing a meal. I am not a party person, so the ideal flat would not be a party house but rather a quiet and peaceful one. If you feel like I am a good match, drop a line!
Vegetarian transitions to vegan, very clean and tidy. Keep to myself but also want to hang out. Looking for someone to move into a unit or something similar as I am moving to study at Latrobe next year. Would preferably like to move sometime this year though, if not that’s fine. Send a message if interested 😊
I am an art teacher who works in community education and with people with a disability. I am a good communicator who values direct, honest communication. I have many years experience share-housing and understand the balance between sharing and privacy that's necessary for it to work. I like to cook healthy food, and I like a clean home environment. I enjoy music, reading, yoga in my spare time. I prefer to live with other women. I have listed 6 months as preferred length of stay, am open to longer with the right person/people.
I speak great English, I am friendly and always smiling. I will be out most of the time exploring Melbourne but would also love to come home and have a little chat. I will help around the property and be very respectful of your living circumstances.
Hi there, I'm Julia! I am a friendly vegetarian, accepting of alternative lifestyles and a very clean, tidy person. I am an artist, photographer, and animal lover. I love a good pun. I come from Queensland where I lived in the mountains before graduating to the beach and then moving down here. Melbourne has been home for two years, and I think it is a wonderful city! Filled with creative souls. I love a good chat over a chai or glass of wine but my hearing is in the low range and I suffer from a migraine condition, so when my health is down I do have quiet times to relax and recover. I respect personal space and believe balance is key. Access to public transport is grand and I would prefer female flatmates. I have a partner who does not live with me, she is lovely. I can move in late November or a touch later if necessary. I would love to meet you and your furkids if you have them! :)
Looking to get a new house with someone! So only team ups really! I'm in the process of looking for houses and inspecting them right now. I work Full Time, and ride a bicycle for the rest of time. I'm not really home much, but enjoy just coming home, cooking, having a bath then going to bed. This means generally I'll keep to myself, because of the long hours out and about, but I do enjoy sitting on the couch and watching TV or a movie with someone. I'm a fan of horror movies! I train for cycling every day, and sometimes ride on an indoor trainer as well. It's not very noisy, and I wouldn't do it whilst people are asleep. I own 5 bikes though, and would need some space for them! I love cats and animals, but don't have the time to have one myself at the moment. Maybe one day! I have a bed, some bookshelves, and that's about it. But willing to start new house and purchase majority of stuff if needed!
36 yrs old, Australian. Clean and quiet, I studied multimedia & design + Animation, so a bit of a nerd there, I do like my Scifi and fantasy movies/ books. I am not a shy person, and talkative, noise never bothers me, outgoing on weekends, i do like a whiskey. I tend to be quiet after work during the week, relax and watch a show, do computer stuff etc. Basically I am looking for a room big enough to accommodate a semi large corner desk and a double bed, and close to public transport as a rely on it to get to work. I work 5 days a week in the CBD, sometimes more, in the afternoons I often do a little more PC work on my little online business. Even more detail ---------------------------------- I do like someone I can talk too, it would be great to have a friend and not just a flatmate. I do not mind it if someone just wants their own space, I totally understand, some jobs really take it out of you. I love pets and easy going. I have lived with party animals and quiet hermits, I always got along with everyone. Not fussy about noise, but i prefer a decently clean space, no piles of dishes in the sink so at least the next person can use the sink and cook etc. Not much of a sports fan, well at least watching it on TV, I do not mind running out and kicking a ball. I used to skate and surf, I do miss the beach a lot. Mostly into rock'n'roll. I like heavy and light stuff, everything between Nine inch nails to John Lennon/ early 60's etc. I travelled a lot in my youth, I was born in South Africa but spent most of my time in Australia. I spent the later part of my teens In Byron Bay, so kind of consider it my hometown. Food and furniture ------------------------------------- I am not Vegetarian but happily eat Vegetarian food. I pretty much eat anything, favourite has to be mostly Asian cuisines. I wouldn't care if a few pieces of bread vanished or a little milk, tomato or whatever. As long as it wasn't out of control lol. I happily share things or keep things to myself, depends on who I am living with and their habits. I have kitchen stuff, toaster, kettle, pots and pans etc, a few small tables, wardrobe, TV, shelves, lamps, speakers, vacuum cleaner etc. I do not mind getting rid of it all if I have to, I prefer to keep my desk and PC, as I do a lot of computer work, it is important to be comfortable.

*need a cat friendly home I'm a naturopath student at endeavour college of natural health, I'm at uni 2-3 days a week. I like to keep to myself and prefer quiet, peaceful environments but don't mind socializing or helping out around the house. I have my own bed, bookshelf, draws and some kitchenware. I have a tortishell cat, violet, who I recently adopted and like me, likes to keep to herself and is no hassle.
