Hey! I’m a copy writer working with an agency in Sth Melbourne (out of office or café) and study dance part time. I like to keep my home clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. I’m respectful of others space, property and varied timetables. I am mother to a rescue cat called Tinka, she is no trouble, but will try to sleep on your lap if given the chance. I’m social, outgoing and left leaning politically, enjoying a discussion on a myriad of topics, but also happy doing my own thing (read: Netflix addict). Not a drinker or smoker, but do enjoy going out with friends socialising and having a boogie. I do eat meat when out, but rarely cook it at home, often whipping up vegetarian style feasts to share. I’m into energy efficiency, reducing waste, recycling and the like. I'm looking for a homely and friendly household vibe. Happy doing my own thing but I’d also like to be friends with my housemate(s). Good convos over cups of tea, dinners together when schedules align as the people you live with form a part of your life. I enjoy Netflix binges, playing board games, dance, music, tea, cats, nature and a bit of banter about feminism is always fun. Please note: my move date is flexible.
Hi. I'm Erin and my partner's name is Andrew. We've been together for 6 years and we are both 33 years old. Andrew is a full-time hotel chef and I'm an ex-language teacher currently doing a masters in accounting. We both tend to be night owls, as Andrew works until about 10 or 11pm and we have dinner after that, and we are more social on weekdays when Andrew is not working, although my busyness fluctuates with uni. We are both interested in personal development and a bit of reading, we love cats and dogs but don't have any, and we enjoy playing computer games occasionally, watching movies, having some wine and a chat, or exploring new places. Andrew obviously loves food and cooking and I love music and languages. We are generally fairly quiet when at home (recharging), but sometimes like to chat with housemates at mealtimes or perhaps have a meal or drink together on a day off. We would like housemates who are faaairly quiet at home - particularly in the mornings, as Andrew finishes work quite late...although we both uuusually sleep like logs. (Just not very loud music or loud screaming in the early morning, pretty please.) We like to chat with and get to know our housemates quite well, but when stressed by a long day, or totally pooped, we prefer to just quietly chill and recharge. We are looking for considerate, tidy and easygoing housemates who would be happy to discuss their needs and any requests openly and respectfully during our time living together. - Let's chat and figure out what works best for everyone ;)
I'm 26 yo full time worker - Mon-Fri - In recruitment for the superannuation Industry (don't judge me). I'm British but have lived in the country for 4.5 years now across both Sydney and Melbourne and like to spend my time exploring the city. I'm a very social person so it's likely that I'll often be found out for dinner or a wine with friends and family most evenings/weekends. That being said, I also enjoy living in a house where I can do the same with my housemates. I love music and if i'm not out at a local gig or music event I like to live in a home where music is playing whilst all the housemates are awake, would be good to live with someone who also enjoys going to gigs. I also really love art, looking at it rather than doing it, and have quite a few bit with me, so will be looking for somewhere where I am able to put it up in my bedroom and make my house a home. I've been living out of home since I was 17, so I'm a well-trained housemate, I enjoy cooking and always clean up after myself.
27 years old originally from the U.K, I've been living in Australia for a year and a half now. Currently managing a guest house in Byron but moving to Melbourne at the end of the month I'm very relaxed and easy to get along with. I'm a creative person and studied art at university, enjoy painting in my free time, I love to exercise, go to the gym, I cycled from Sydney to Byron (it took ages), I'm a big soccer fan and enjoy going out for a few beers/ food. I also have a Etsy shop selling furniture, art and antique clothing. I'd love a house where the housemates get along and are up for a few drinks on the weekend but also happy to spend time alone. I'm very respectful of others and very tidy. Here until end of November
Hey Hey. So this is the weird part that we all hate where we talk about ourselves haha but I'm a 31 year old chick who has an absolute wacky obsession with all things fashion so I run a Vintage Clothing business from home. I'm always cruising at the Market's with a stall or at any other art/community events I can get my hands on. I also work Casually at Platypus Shoes selling some kicks a couple days a week. So, I'd be working from home maybe 2 - 3 days during the week and weekends I'm usually always out at markets for the most part. I've been living in Newcastle for the last year (originally from the Central Coast) and became so close with my roomies (absolute legends) that I am following them to Vic to start on a new adventure. I love to be a part of the local art/music scene and looking forward to a Summer full of wild fashion, markets, gigs, events, and just some really valuable chill time with the special peeps and fellow friends that I hopefully get to make! I've lived in share houses my whole adult life, I love living with a really down to earth easy going crew, will respect your privacy, and will clean up after myself. I do enjoy being fairly social and going out to enjoy things when I feel like it, but I respect the fact that I am sharing a house and you won't find me in the way, and if you find yourself up at night needing a glass of wine and a D&M, I can be that girl for you. I am super open-minded and get on with pretty much almost everyone that I meet. I'm keen as a bean to meet some cool cats in Melbs, so, if I sound like ya girl and you need a new roomie, hit me up, especially if you are a fellow 420 friendly spot!
Hi my name is Jack I’m a 25 year old student at Latrobe university. I work casually at a nightclub in Fitzroy on weekends. I’m social and looking for a place where I can feel at home. I enjoy cricket and play over the summer, happy to have a beer and socialise but understand the need for privacy in a sharehouse environment. Looking to move in towards the end of the month but im pretty flexible. I also have my 7 year old black Labrador mila, who I would love to bring with me. She’s well trained, well behaved and well loved by anyone that meets her. She’s great with other dogs and cats. Cheers
I am a lawyer working full time, I’m into the outdoors, live music, hot yoga, books, plants, films and I have a gorgeous little cat who is very housetrained and will be your best friend too. Looking for a place to call home that’s reasonably quiet during the week and LGBT friendly. I am actually still living in Wellington NZ job hunting but will move over when I secure something so probably looking more seriously for a room then. Watch this space!
Im a full time photography student at RMIT, in my spare time and when I'm not taking photos I enjoy writing and playing music, reading, hiking and perusing other ventures whether it be creative or business . I'm a pretty quiet individual and tend to keep to my self, but Ill never turn down a good conversation and will lend a helping hand when and where I can :)
Howdy, I’m looking for a nice place close to Brunswick and surrounds. My budget is $190/week but I’m flexible if the right place comes up. I’m sociable sometimes, and introverted other times, looking for a balance of fun housie times and also quiet times. I’m a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. My hobbies include climbing, skiing, cooking, and other misc activities. I ride my bike around mostly but I do have a car too. Looking for a place with heating and cooling as my internal thermostat is lazy. I’d consider myself a clean person who likes a relatively tidy place most of the time. I don’t have much furniture at all to contribute except for some plants. I also love gardening, especially crops. Non-smoking house is preferred. Hope to hear from you thanks pals :)
I am not going to drink an instant coffee nor a beer this year. I have no electronic means of payment free to message. I have all the furniture and mod cons I need in my back pocket. I'm not generally nasty untill people are mistaken too rudely about things. i don't spare AU$180>>weekly to share with 3 or more people where there's no scope for tanning in my back yard
I'm looking for a space for the next 3-6 months while I wait for my tenants to finish up their lease at my apartment in Richmond (I've just returned from working overseas). Ideally trying to avoid bigger share houses and find a nice, clean and chill place to make home for the time being!
