We are currently living in Southbank, but we would like to move out to a bigger place furtherer from the city center, and we would love to share the place with a nice, friendly person/couple. We've found a few places already, so we are now looking for housemates to team up with. We are only interested into places that have ensuites or several bathroom as we don't want to be sharing bathroom. We are looking into long-terme accomodation so would rather find housemates who wants to stay in Melbourne for a while. Hi I'm Zoe, I'm a 25 year old high school maths teacher who absolutely loves her job. My hours are from 8 til 5ish, usually with a gym session afterwards to be home in time for dinner and to socialise with my household. I'm originally a country girl, but I moved to the city at 18 to study and have been living in shared accomodation since then. My weekends are generally spent chilling out, training with my hiphop team, enjoying food and beverages with friends and I'll never say no to a night out and a dancefloor! I'm Nick, moving to Melbourne from Perth where I've lived my whole 25 years. I work as a financial planner, usually in the office from 8.30 - 6.00 during the week to then sneak some exercise into the evenings. My weekends in Perth are currently spent with family and friends, I'm hoping life in Melbourne will be just as social. I'm currently sharing a house with three lads, getting around a few beers on the weekends, pretending I understand AFL and playing the board game Settlers of Catan. After a year of long distance and sifting through airline promotions we're ready to live in the same city. We consider ourselves to be sociable and independent people who aren't yet ready to give up the share house lifestyle. We are hoping to find some legendary individuals to befriend and share a fridge with.

Hey there, potential housemate! We’re a trio of early-mid 20-something ladies looking for a lovely human who will fit into our household dynamic and bring balance to the Force. We’re in a relatively spacious house in the south-east. The busses are a 5 minute walk away by the local Primary school or north road (630 direct to Monash Clayton), and we’re a 15 minute walk from the North road shopping strip and the Ormond train station (Frankston line). We have buses that travel to Monash University’s Clayton campus, and the Chadstone and Southland shopping centres, as well as Carnegie and tram and train stops. We’re looking for someone who is responsible (enough), respectful, warm, communicative (!!!), and okay with lots of quiet days/nights. They also need to be okay with casual hilarity and memes. We ask that our new person be okay with fur babies of the feline variety, and follow the established courtesy of letting us know when people are coming over, via the house group chat. We are LGBTQQIA+ friendly, and we don’t kink shame. (TERFs and SWERFs need not consider applying.) Your room has a beautiful big window with a chunky sill which faces into the backyard. It’s the only carpeted room in the house, and includes a built-in wardrobe. There is a double bed included, but no other furniture. The house itself is beside a park and near the local schools. We have underfloor ducted heating which runs on gas. Our stove is also gas-powered. We have two fridges which are shared between two people each, and our own cupboard space. There is also a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, vacuum, all necessary furniture, appliances, crockery, and a shed out the back. We don’t have any passive-aggressive cleaning rosters, but we all pitch in and voice any concerns as they arise. We value and require open communication and polite assertiveness. Monthly rent is $620, plus internet (paid MONTHLY). The power bill is monthly, and gas 3-monthly which is split between all of us. Bond will be $573, plus $100 to put your name on the lease.
