Hi there. I am looking for a room with a bed for around $150 p/w including bills. I have been renting via share housing for 8 years now and am reliable and easy to live with. Looking for something around Melbourne metro areas I don't mind where, close to shops and public transport etc. I am a quiet/keep to myself kind of person so looking for something that isn't a party house with people over all the time. I have everything with me aside from a bed and general cooking pots/utensils, only thing I require is an internet connection where I can run my cable to. I very much enjoy a neat and tidy house and like to keep it that way, in other words you wont have a problem with me when it comes to keeping things clean especially the kitchen, I'm happy to split the household cleaning chores so things are maintained. I'm a big computer nerd, most of my time is spent online doing various things so a fast cable internet connection is a big plus. As I mentioned I'm a quiet person but am cool for a chat and catch up with you. I am looking for a room until I can have my community housing sorted out which will take around a year
I am a classical piano player- Oh don't worry! I had a baby grad piano BUT sold before I went to one year off in overseas traveling. So I don't have a piano now...... After finished my Masters, I went off to long overseas trip & recently got back. I am very clean & tidy, non smoker, no pet. I like to live peace & quiet 'home'. I do yoga & meditation, love reading, listening music, love live music, musicals, galleries, museums & exhibitions. When I rented the place & had share mates before. So I had shared house experiences which is I know respect each other's spaces. I used live with my all share mates like family/friend. I still keep in touch with my share mates!

Im a second year student in RMIT and also working part time as a digital marketing intern. Originally from Singapore, so I guess you can call me a roti canai connoiseur. I can be fun, I try to be funny and I am 100% down-to-earth.
Hi, I'm 25 and finished my postgraduate study last year at Melbourne University. I recently started my professional career as an I.T. professional in Melbourne. I'm tidy, easygoing and optimistic. I love outdoor activities and I'm not a partier nor smoker. If you are interested or feel that we could be a good match, please feel free to contact me. Thanks.
Hello! I'm a patisserie student who enjoys baking bread, making desserts, cooking healthy food, jogging, hiking, music. :) Looking for a place with stove + kitchen, will take good care of them. Quiet, neat and a bit goofy at times.
Ground floor apartment with a light filled front yard. 6 minute walk to Ormond station - 2 stations away from Caulfield station and only 25 minutes train ride Melbourne CBD. Close to North Road with restaurants, fast food, a small supermarket and a 24/7 gym. Bedroom has large storage space - currently unfurnished, but willing to supply, if needed. Apartment has base foxtel, netflix and stan with unlimited internet also available. Air conditioning and all types of kitchenware available for use. Washing machine and dishwasher also available. Rent is negotiable.
I'm a friendly and tidy engineer looking to team-up with someone to move in together. I am currently looking at 2 bedroom apartments/houses, and so I'm also looking for a flatmate to share it with! Originally from Sydney, I recently moved to Melbourne to be closer to my partner. I’m a professional optical engineer who’s switched from working in my Sydney office to working remotely from home in Melbourne. My spare time is usually spent chilling at home or with friends. I play and compose music and I'm also a science and technology geek! I'm usually tinkering on a project or two, reading books, playing video games etc. I love to cook too, so communal dinners are something I love getting involved in! I like to keep things clean (especially the kitchen), and I also like avoiding house clutter. I'm looking for a friendly, sociable, considerate, and clean person or couple who are interested in moving into a house or apartment. Ideally, arty or geeky like me, who's not averse to hanging out with a beverage on rare occasions, but also respects each other's privacy and personal space. Since I work from home, I will need some space to fit my work desk and equipment.
Hey there, this is a very nice and well maintained furnished home. It is very spacious with tall ceilings and a decent back and front yard. It has two bedrooms and a split bathroom (toilet separate to shower), the kitchen is sizeable yet cosy and the stove and oven are relatively new and work perfectly. The dining room is great for hosting friends over for dinner and the lounge room has AC and a heater to enjoy some downtime after a long day. It is located just a 10 minute walk to Ormond station through well lit streets and it is a very quiet neighbourhood all around. There's bus stops all around as well which because I drive I'm not familiar with their route but I know they go to the beach, Chadstone and Carnegie. Ormond is a great area with a bit of everything from the local pub to restaurants from all around and it's only a 5 minute drive up the road from Brighton beach. Last but not least the house has an undercover garage with a big storage space as well.
My name is Patrick and I'm a full time Monash University student. I study at the Caulfield campus and am moving to be closer to Uni. I'm a pretty laid back guy who likes to have fun although my studies and part-time work are my priorities. Ideally i'd be sharing a flat with people similar age/occupation as me but at the end of the day I just need somewhere to live.
Hi there! I'm a quiet but friendly queer enby person studying Sociology and literature at Monash Clayton. I am a great vegan cook, and I deeply value honest communication. My cat is friendly with other cats and very chill. I have a new fridge, and bedroom furniture but no washer dryer. Because of my disabilities I need to be close to public transport as i sometimes can't walk far. I'm a spoonie (person with limited energy as a result of chronic illness). I love a good cup of tea, book, succulent garden, chat, netflix evening. I'm an experienced share-house-erer and I've lived in Melbourne a year (NSW before that). Please let me know if you or anyone you know have a safe room I can rent ASAP! looking forward to meeting you and your home :)
front house in very convenient and safe area only 2 train stations to Caulfield campus ,close to station and all shopping close proximity. Currently 2 other students both male and female.Ideal house for student studying . Internet is included in rent
Hello there! My name is Kym and I love travelling, cooking gluten free foods and going out with friends or just chilling out with Netflix. I'm a very easy going and tidy person that is always up for a chat and doesn't mind a bit of housework. I currently work full time in Prahran and am looking for somewhere a little closer to work that I can make my own.
Hey guys! I'm looking for an awesome new place that's a bit closer to the city with some awesome and interesting people (a furnished room would be ideal too :). I'm a PhD student (perception/attention/consciousness kinda stuff) at Monash uni. I'm super easy going, pretty quiet through the week (though I do love a chat over a beer or wine and cheese), enjoy relaxing with a Netflix binge (crime docos, ridiculous reality TV shows and anything funny). LOVE music (prog rock, indie, alt pop, psytrance... anything good haha!). Most weekends I'm out trying new foods/beverages/places --- and of course, I'm respectful, very clean and reliable! I'm flexible on moving dates but am preferably looking to move at the end of May. Let me know if I sound like I'd be a good fit :) Cheers!
There is one bedroom with a queen bed to share in a 3 room apartment located in Ormond. It's a nice and quiet place, in a walking distance, just 350m away from Ormond train station, bus stops, shops and cafes. Close to Monash University in Caulfield, 10 min by bicycle, 6 km to Elwood beach. The apartment is furnished. The PRICE is $180 p/w and INCLUDES water bills, fridge, washing machine, iron, vacuum cleaner and kitchen appliances. Electricity, Gas and Internet bills are shared equally between three flatmates (You, me and my husband). If you are interested in the room, please, don't hesitate to contact me. *Sorry, but no couples, pets, smokers.
I'll be moving back to Melbourne in July in order to start my Master's degree at Monash (Caulfield campus). I was in Melbourne for 4 months as part of a working holiday and fell in love with the city, I'm back home in the States for now but can't wait to come back. I've lived in shared flats/houses several times, all through university and as part of my working holiday where I was an au pair and lived with two different families. When not in class or at work, I like running or biking, as well as curling up with a good book or going out for a few drinks.
Hey guys! Tl;dr - it's hard to rent on my own! Let's team up and make it easier! Hoping this is worth a shot! I'm looking for someone to team up with to secure a lease. I work in Ormond and am happy to live in any direction within 20-30 minutes of there, so I'm not super fussy on location, but I'm looking at houses around $350-400 p/w and I'm more than happy to pay good rent for a nice, clean place. I am definitely looking for somewhere with a decent back yard so I can make a safe little enclosure for my kitty. A little bit about me: I'm 22 years old. I've lived out of home and have been renting since I was 18 and I am very independent. I'm employed full time as a professional tattoo artist. I love my job and I'm always working. When I'm not working I like to chill out, draw, relax, and hang out with my cat. Despite my youth, I'm a strict non drinker or smoker. I don't mind what others do, but I definitely could not live in a social party house. I'm a pretty introverted person, so I don't mind having a chat/dinner/ watching a movie with housemates, but I'm very respectful of personal space. I have a house worth of furniture to bring with me and a charming fluffy cat. His name is Lil' Max and he is a delight. I'm currently in the process of applying for houses in the eastern suburbs, but I'm not having much luck as a single applicant, despite being financially equipped to afford the rent. Perhaps it's my age, or job, or face. Who knows. Maybe realtors are more scared of me than I am of them, but I doubt it. If you're also looking for a happy, comfortable home in the eastern suburbs, feel free to swing me a message and we can organise a time to meet up. (p.s vegan/vegetarian encouraged!) Picture of me and my pretty boy.
Hi Everyone, I'm Melissa, Melbourne born and raised! I work in the inner suburbs as an Office Manager 9am to 5.30pm, for an Oil company. I've lived in share houses with friends as well as on my own in Melbourne, Sydney and Queensland over the years. I love the outdoors, travelling, photography, time out with friends, live music and keeping fit with pilates, gym, hikes, soon adding boxing and spin classes! I am relocating to be closer to work and always in the city / surrounding suburbs socially. (I can't handle the commute to work by car and back forth socially anymore!) Looking for a private large bedroom in a shared house or apartment, with car parking, whether off or on street. Preferably with housemates that have good energy, sense of humour, drama free and easy going like me, non-smokers, no drugs, no parties at home and no pets. Within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance to trams/train station is my preference. I would like housemates that I can have the occasional drink, chat and meal with. I know we all have our own lives at the end of the day but it's nice to not be complete strangers with those you live with! Feel free to message me if you have any questions, especially a share place available and you feel I am the ideal housemate that will suit your household. Cheers :)
I’m a 23 year old that works in e-Commerce and Videography. Love a social dinner, drinks, the occasional night. Love to cook and live an active lifestyle. I’m easy going, reliable and a clean and tidy person so ideally looking for housemates who are too. Interested in a longterm rent only! Thanks :)
Hi, we are Jacky and Emily. We are currenty living together as housemates (through flatmates.com funnily enough). Hoping to find a home that accomodates the both of us! Ideally our new home would: - Include all bills & internet with the rent - Be close to the train station and shops (walking distance preferred) - Have space available for parking, because Jacky has a car (on-street or off-street is fine) Jacky Hi, I'm Jacky and I work full time as a primary school teacher. I am looking for a home that I would be able to live in long term. Having graduated from Monash University last year and having lived on-campus for the last four years, the experiences of living with a variety of people has made me easygoing and adaptable as a housemate. I am a huge fan of video games, marvel movies, hiking, corny jokes and brunches. While I will most likely crash in my room after a long tiring day of work, I am always down for bonding opportunities with my housemates and exchanging some amazing banter. (Brownie points if you like Netflix) On occasion, I will go out for drinks. But I can promise you my nightlife stays outside and I will not bring any party racket home. If I ever have friends over, I will make sure noise levels are kept at a minimum and to ask for permission first. Cleanliness has always been a priority for me and would remain the same in all communal areas. Unfortunately, I do not want to live with smokers. If there is anything else you'd like to know me about me, feel free to send a message! Emily Hi, I'm Emily! I'm a student currently studying costume design and working part-time at Monash University with the Academy of Performing Arts. I work late nights as an usher at the university theatre, so we're looking for a place on the Pakenham/Cranbourne or Frankston lines so that I can get home easily on PTV! I love theatre, sewing, reading, and hanging out with friends watching rubbish telly and movies. I mostly make costumes in my spare time, but I've been known to make the odd made to measure outfit here and there. Who knows, there might be something you'd like that I can make for you!
I am Originally from South Africa and have been in Melbourne for 6 years, so I still have a heavy accent. I am more of home body than a party animal although I do love a glass of red wine. I am not a morning person - I can't cope without my morning coffee. I am more of a night owl. I am always up for a relaxed night in watching movies or TV series - especially Game of Thrones! Would be nice to meet some new people and I love animals.
