This bright and light-filled first floor apartment is situated on a quiet leafy street close to shops, popular restaurants, cafes and parks, and is only a short walk to Ormond train station. The bedroom receives plenty of natural light throughout the year, and features a large built-in wardrobe with mirror doors opposite a large window. The lounge room has air conditioning and a view above the surrounding houses. The images above are of the apartment unfurnished, as I am currently out of town and have been unable to take furnished images. The kitchen, lounge room and European laundry are fully furnished, but if you have your own furniture we can shuffle things around. The west-facing balcony currently has no furniture, but would be a great area for outdoor seating and/or potted plants if you're a green thumb. Rent is $804 per calendar month, with bills additional. Bond is also $804. Wifi internet is $35p/m each and the quarterly water / electricity bills are quite cheap. FAQs: Due to the terms of the lease agreement, there is only ONE PERSON per bedroom. This room is not suitable for two friends looking to share or couples. As the bedroom is unfurnished, it will not be suitable for students or travelers seeking furnished rooms. Thanks!
Hey there! We're Magda (Polish) and Jarrod (Aussie), a super easy going and fun couple who like to actively spend their time off:) We've been traveling for the past few years and now settling for a little while here in Melbourne. We're super friendly, love to cook and meet new people! What makes us the perfect flatmate candidate? We're a solid mix of funny+friendly+clean+helpful+laid back :) We love to explore Melbourne and surroundings after a busy week at work! If that hasn't convinced you yet, Magda can bribe you with her delicious home made dumplings aka pierogis and Jarrod makes kickass veggie burgers :) Magda works in an Italian restaurant and Jarrod works in health insurance. We're looking for a comfy private room in an area close to a train station, hopefully a supermarket as well:)
Hi! I just moved over here from Canada and I'm needing a place to stay for the next 6 months or so! I work full time at a restaurant in Balaclava currently. As a housemate I am super tidy and respectful of everyone's space and privacy. However, I am always open to living with people who are down to have a glass of wine and chat or watch a movie together. I don't have people over super often but I'm always cool with housemates having people over and will be respectful of whatever the house situation is towards guests. My pets are living in Canada so if you have a furry friend I will love them forever. I like to cook big meals and bake as well so that's a bonus to having me around!
Hey, I'm Kim :) I'm a young at heart 28 year old, working full time in PR/social media. Looking for a new place closer to work in Mount Waverley, to live with two or three people I get along well with, and hopefully become friends with. I'm friendly, bubbly, easy going, open minded, respectful, a bit of a nerd/weirdo; and I love to eat, laugh and have a good time. I do have a busy social life, but usually up for hangs -whether that's watching Netflix, going out for a feed, or deep and meaningful chats, whenever I'm around. I've lived in many sharehouses before, so I understand that respect, communication, patience and courtesy are so important for a happy household. I don't have any pets, but would love it if you had a dog! I'm looking to live somewhere in the south eastern or eastern suburbs near a train station, and I'm pretty flexible with move dates, so hit me up if you're interested or have any questions for me :)
I am from India and currently pursuing post-grad at Monash University. I have been staying in Melbourne for the past 1.5 years. For fun, I like to roam around and explore different places in and around Melbourne
I'm heading to Melbourne from the UK on a Working Holiday Visa in April and looking for a place to stay. I'm new to the city and the country so looking for some easy going housemates to help me settle in. I'm a chef and like to do a lot of cooking in my spare time. Recently graduated as a Nutritional Therapist and into my wellness and mindfulness. I'm quite chilled and laid back but also up for discovering new things to do
I'm Billy, 25 years old. Working full time in a school. I like sports, socialising and chilling out. I play soccer and work so pretty busy most of the time. Looking for a friendly, clean and comfortable house to live in.
I work full time in retail. I am involved in Rotary and that takes up a lot of my spare time. I like to read, go on walks, swim, visit art galleries and paint. I am looking for a place where I can do my own thing and have my own space, but would be good to share the odd glass of wine and meal with my housemate occasionally.
Im a tradie, i do carpentry and flooring. Im from sri lanka and been living in Melbourne for 4 years. In my free times i play pc games, would love to hangout with the other housemates, evening drinks etc. Im a pretty active person but not fussy at all unless something actually bothers me. I love to work on cars. Sometimes i buy cars from auctions fix them up and sell them as a hobby. So it would be great to have some space for that. I think thats about all i can think of. Please feel free to ask any questions. And i do smoke a little bit but that'll be totally out of the house and will not affect other housemates in any means.

Our house is open and spacious, with huge windows and lots of natural light, and one of your housemates has a flare for interior design so it really feels like a home. It's fully furnished with couches, a TV, dining room table and chairs, kitchen appliances, washing machine, dryer and even a coffee machine, and depending on your preferences I can potentially also offer the room furnished with a double bed frame, bedside table and desk. We also have central heating AND air conditioning which has been great on hot summer days! It's right across the road from a great cafe which does awesome brunch and coffee, as well as an awesome burger shop and a few other cute little shops. There's plenty of parks around, including one right beside our house. It's also very close to public transport - we're a short 1km walk/bike ride/bus trip from Ormond Station, 2.5km to Monash University's Caulfield campus, and a 15min drive or a 25min bus trip down North Road to the Clayton campus. It's an awesome house in an awesome location!
Hi there! We are two recent graduates that have been housemates for 2 years. We are both employed part-time, and are currently looking to move to a 3 bedroom place with a 3rd person joining us (budget being $200 pp/w). We are hoping to move into a spacious house, and would be happy for whoever joins us to have the master bedroom. We are open to moving further out from the city in order to secure a nicer place. We're both pretty chill, happy to hang out but also completely understand that we all need our personal space. We would prefer to find someone that is employed in some capacity. Having lived together for a while we do have a good understanding of each other's needs, and would be happy to extend the same to whoever joins us. We would be keen to meet up and sort the details out. P.S. We have most of the furniture needed for a house, though we would be happy to upgrade/negotiate
Hey Guys, My name is Arpit and I am 29 years old. I am working full time as a Chef. I am always up for chats, discussions and trying out new food. Though I do not drink but I can surely join you for a great conversation while you enjoy your glass of wine :) I can cook at home too. haha (Only on my off days) Having said that, I love my own space and time equally and i know very well how to respect other's space too. Write me if you think i can be a good fit for your place among you guys. :) Thanks Arpit
Hello, I am a Masters student at Monash university . I am friendly and like to interact with people from different cultures. I also work part-time and my hobbies include reading and cooking. I am looking forward to share an accommodation with a female roommate preferably a student unlike me. I enjoy practicing neatness and cleanliness in daily life.
We are students of Monash University studying Master degree and have been staying in Melbourne for almost a year. As we have potential income, we now prefer to move together into an house. A clean and neat house near Monash or surrounding suburbs would be a better option.
I'm a 27 year old working full-time mostly from home so I'd need somewhere relatively quiet during the day. I love a beer and a chat but also understand everyone needs their own space sometimes. I'm clean but not pedantic about others' cleanliness (within reason) and very easy-going. I'm a total film geek and play piano and ukulele. I will probably laugh at your jokes even if they're terrible.
