Hello! My name is Hannah, and I am a 23-year-old university student. I am moving from Sydney to start a degree at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University in February 2018. I am looking for a private room to rent for the duration of my three-year course: preferably a share house within walking distance of the Con's Burke Street Studios in Woolloongabba. I am friendly and outgoing, but I also like my down time. I am very neat and like to keep my space clean and tidy at all times. It is extremely important to me that I contribute to household chores and do my bit to maintain a happy and harmonious living environment! I would love to meet some likeminded females who are looking for a tenant to move in around late January. If this is you, please feel free to contact me! I look forward to meeting you. :)
High school teacher and traveller who loves a laugh and a glass of red wine. Despite the large collection of cookbooks, am a terrible cook and usually resort to making some form of eggs for dinner. Previous housemates in London are now brilliant friends... hoping the luck will continue back home in Brisbane. Looking for a large room to cater for a desk, as well as some natural sunlight!
ATTENTION: In Desperate Need of a Private Bedroom in a Sharehouse, With Mostly Females :-) Hello Everyone My name is Melanie, I am 21 turning 22 in April and I currently work part-time in a retail department store in Brisbane City. I have been working in the retail industry for over 5 years now and enjoy communicating with people and helping them to find what they are looking for. My cultural background is Sri-Lankan and Indian, and I was born in Brisbane. What makes me a great person to live? I respect peoples privacy and space, I am an independent individual that is responsible and will pay the bills and rent on time. I don't drink or smoke and I am not a party person, so you wouldn't need to worry about that :-) In addition, I enjoy a good chat and would love to get to know my housemates over dinner. What do I like to do for fun? On the weekend I love to catch up with friends over coffee or go to Southbank. I also enjoy spending time on my own watching Netflix and going for walks to clear my mind. P.S The maximum I can afford is $185 per week including all bills, please only message me if your post is under $185 or under and includes all bills:-) Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing from you soon
I’ll write something a little later!
I’m doing my PhD at UQ in developmental biology looking at heart development. In my spare time, I like to keep active by going for jogs, hiking, swimming and cycling. I also like to travel when I get the chance. I’m a pretty easy going flatmate as my work keeps me busy most of the time! I also have a kitty who is very social and playful. :)
I have recently moved to the Brisbane area and I am working full-time in New Farm. I would like to move somewhere closer to my work (within roughly 15 minutes). I have rented in the past by myself and with a housemate. I find I am someone who pulls my weight with paying rent/bills and with maintaining the place. I am someone who likes my own space but I also want my housemates to be someone I can get along with and have a chat with. I have an almost 2 year old pug/cavalier, Ruby who loves everyone especially when they are giving her attention. I am after a place with a courtyard preferably so Ruby can be outdoors since she is used to being a yard. My hobbies include going to the gym, dancing, chilling out watching too much Netflix and having a drink on the occasion.
I'm a girl french student. I found an internship in the University of Queensland. I'm sociable, I like live in community. I'm calm and serious but I also like to party (outside) twice a week. I'm respectful and I like to be respected.
Im an easy going lad who can get along with most and enjoy listening to peoples stories and opinions. Currently studying visual arts and Im a carpenter so i like to create, utilise my skills and collaborate. My living spaces are always kept clean :D.
Looking to move in the June/July holidays Hi! My name is Maddie and I'm a first year uni student at UQ, studying science. I moved here from Airlie Beach QLD and have lived in an apartment by myself for 6 months, but the rent is too high. So i am looking for a nice group of girls to move in with for the rest of the year! I mostly keep to myself, and will busy most of the day so I won't be home much. I usually go visit friends or go out for drinks on the weekends too. I'm a very clean and tidy person, can't stand mess, so you don't have to worry about that. So basically if I'm not at uni or visiting friends, I'll probably be in my room studying or sleeping. I usually go home on the holidays too so you'll have one less person in the house. I would consider myself someone who is easygoing and can get along with anyone. I've never really had fights between a friend, so there won't be any tension in the house. I'm really not fussy at all and don't mind what you do. Message me if you have a place in your accomodation and I seem like someone you would get along with! xxx
Hi there, I am currently working full time at an accounting firm located in Dutton Park. I also run my own business as a hobby on the side. Some of my favorite things I like to do are grab coffee, try new restaurants, travel and do a little bit of photography! I'm not a crazy party girl but don't mind a drink or some wine and cheese on a Friday.
Hey! I'm looking for a place within a walking distance to QUT where I work full-time as a researcher. I also give tutorials at UQ so would be nice if it's somewhere in-between. I'm social and fun to be around, I train with the UQ Olympic Handball team and I like hiking, yoga, and outdoors activities. I'm usually quite busy and quiet during the week but sometimes I like to have a sneaky beer with housemates after work... Looking to live with social people but not in a party house, somewhere to feel comfortable to come back to after a day of work. I'm clean and tidy and I expect the same from others. interested people please feel free to drop me a message I check here frequently as I wanna move within the next 2 weeks. Looking forward to hear from you! Cheers, Omar
Hi! I'm Eden, a 20y/o student studying at UQ. I've been living in a beautiful sharehouse since the beginning of 2017 but figured it's time to switch it up a bit. I'm relaxed, easygoing, friendly, good with rent/bills, and like to keep everything reasonably tidy. I love meeting new people and am just looking for a welcoming place filled with lovely people to call home. I'll also mention I'm vegan but I'm 100% happy living with people who have different diet preferences, no worries at all. Feel free to message for a chat if you think I'd be a nice fit, I'd love to come check out your place! Thanks!
Hi! I am a young professional (recent graduate in finance and economics). I am a clean, considerate and friendly housemate. I love to have a chat but also respect each other's space and privacy and if you have a dog.. I volunteer as tribute to help you walk it. I have lived in a sharehouse for four years but due to my old share house being sold and my old housemates moving city, I am looking for a new sharehouse. My hobbies include reading, netball, chess, hiking, volleyball, snowboarding and knitting (I took it up while listening to lectures in university). Please consider me as a housemate for your property. If you have any questions or would like to meet me, please do not hesitate to contact me :) Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you! Brooke :) UPDATE: $170per week is the maximum I’ll pay for rent per week. Also, I have a queensized bed, wardrobe, beside table and three couches (which I will sell if they will not fit in the house :) ) Thank you :)
Hey, so the basics about me are that my name is Phoebe! I'm 23, I'm a full time nursing student and I also work full time at a bar in the valley. I am a young single female who likes to have a chat and get to know new people; however, I am hardworking and sometimes quiet and looking for flatmates who are of a similar-ish nature. I clean up after myself, am respectful of the other people I live with. I like being social as much as anyone else around my age does, although I definitely have homebody qualities where if I have day off both work and uni I will most likely be guilty of napping and/or watching Netflix, when I should be studying or doing something productive. Its highly unlikely that I will be awake early on weekends to enjoy a coffee or breakfast, but I'm never opposed to having a weeknight wine with some food or whatever! :) I work a lot of nights and I'm basically on a complete different time schedule to everyone I know so, chances are you won't see me all too often - But when you do, it would be nice for it to not be completely awkward and to be able to have a chat etc :)
Hi! I am looking to move relatively close to the city any time between now and the end of May. I’m currently working part time and studying to be a makeup artist. I enjoy having a glass of wine, reality tv binge and chats after work, but I respect the fact that everyone needs their alone time. Generally a home body but I do love to go out for coffee or a few cocktails on the weekends. I own a car so street parking is a must. I have a microwave, washing machine, kitchenware, dining table and chairs, and all of my own bedroom furniture (happy to put furniture into storage if there’s no room). I do like to keep things clean and organised but I’m pretty chill about having house rules. Would be happy to team up with one person or a group to find somewhere to live. Please message me if you’re interested!
I am 27 years old guy from Poland. I work full time as a software engineer. I practise sport quite regularly, love weekend trips and enjoy hanging out with cool people. I am looking for a chill place, not a party house - since sometimes I have some job to do after working hours.
