I'm a 24 year-old student about to start a PhD in German studies (literature & philosophy) at Monash Uni. I'm originally from Wellington but have lived in Melbourne for 20 years. I'm low maintenance - clean, tidy, and respectful - and happy to chip in with housework and conversation. Right now, I'm pretty deep into Twin Peaks - the original and the 2017 revival!
I'm friendly, funny and relaxed. I get along with open minded, honest people. I'm used to taking care of myself, and I'm mostly pretty quiet and introverted, but enjoy a friendly, chill vibe at home. I'm on disability payments, so I spend a lot of time at home with my cats. I have 2 indoor-only cats that are very friendly and playful. They are litter trained, and have previously lived with a dog. I don't entertain much, I watch heaps of Netflix instead. Feel free to message me if you have further questions.
I am clean and organised. I am friendly, helpful, I get along with many people and we can have good chats. But I also fit in with people who want privacy because I write and do academic research work on my computer when I am working from home. I love cycling and going for walks. I have shared with a range of people, including doing a small amount of house sitting, for many years. So, I can look after and be useful around a house and property. I am also concerned about the environment so I try to recycle and save resources, but I do not expect that other people must do what I do. I have some useful furniture for new team ups: for the kitchen and laundry. For an existing share house I am okay if this furniture is stored. I don't have any pets but I get along with pets very well. No smokers _at all_, since I get very sick from it.
I work full-time, including most weekends. I am a relaxed, independent, considerate, well travelled person, with a history of house sharing. I exercise, when I can! Essentially, I am a happy, easy-going and animal loving person.
Hi! I'm Stephanie :). I'm 28, I currently live in a cute little house in Vermont South with my dog Harvey and cat Tom. We are looking for somewhere to live that is closer to civilisation :). I'm from Melbourne and have lived here all of my life. I work as a nanny and PA, my hours are mental and all over the place at the best of times. In my spare time I am training Harvey, taking him out for adventures, seeing friends, getting out and exploring Melbourne, among other things! I will probably bug you every few days to join Harvey and I for a walk. I love being able to interact with people - so if you're social then we will get along fine! I'm super clean and tidy, but I definitely won't freak out over untidiness! About Harvey! He is 4, a rescue Staffy x Kelpie. He is the sweetest thing around. If he's not climbing on you for cuddles, staring at you sadly for food, or getting the biggest sad eyes when you move one step away from him - something's wrong. He loves a good play, we do a lot of agility training and are starting sheep herding. He is an inside dog who has the freedom to come in and out as he pleases. He has never once caused any damage, destroyed anything, had an accident inside, etc. Honestly. Meet him - you'll love him! Tom, on the other hand. Is a mental 8mth old rescue Tabby. He is a purring machine. Or a meowing machine. I'm not sure which one he does more of, but he definitely likes for his presence to be known! He's dog friendly and loves to annoy them and have them follow him. Follows myself around like a hungry shadow. Will possibly knock your glass of water over just for shits and giggles... Because he can. I do have all of my own furniture and kitchen wares. Couch, tv unit, tv, fridge, washing machine, bedroom stuff, etc. I would love to be able to bring these along with me and with them in somewhere, but that's something we can discuss at any time! I'd prefer to live somewhere where there is only 1-2 other roommates. Happy to options of moving into an already established household OR looking with another interested person for somewhere available to lease.

Hi there! Interested in teamup for a sharehouse and willing to sign a lease. I have a very friendly & chilled cat Jesse. I'm working full time in hospitality to support my study in child care. Super chilled, easy going and friendly. I had heaps of good house sharing experience and looking forward to the next sharehouse! I'm usually busy but love to have a chat when I bumped into housemates. We used to watch stuff together or have a fire in the backyard sharing good on the fire with music. Or more of the time we were busy doing our own things. We respected each other and had a great time together. I'm open-minded. Age, gender, nationality, sexual orientation or religion doesn't matter as long as we are all respectful. I also love outdoors/hiking/music/languages. Occasionally I have friends visiting me from overseas but pretty rare. Please drop me a message if interested :)) cheers
Hello, I'm a girl from Sweden who works fulltime as a cleaner and my partner is a guy from India who studies fulltime at Swinburne and works parttime in the city. We like to chill when we get home, but are always up for a good conversation.

Hi I'm moving down to Melbourne from Brisbane begining of August. Looking to make that lovely city my new home. Me: I've been sharing for most of my life, am an actor/ex biologist, like to cook, rockclimb, try to not kill the plants, dance, spend time outdoors, watch movies and theatre, sew, yoga......stuff. Will have a job, so don't worry. I come with mostly just bedroom furniture. I have a 10year old house trained tibetan spaniel x border collie, Toby, who wont eat your shoes or lunch, and is fully house trained. It would be great to find some chilled, friendly, people who like to share a meal and a drink occasionally, and are maybe artistic (obviously clean, tidy, respectful etc, but that goes without saying so...And same for me too). I am really looking for a place to call home not just a room in a house. Love to hear from you. Cheers Donna
Work full time in commumity service sector, volunteer teach on the side. Am respectful, reliable and enjoy a meal share on occassion. Cook a bloody mean curry (learnt a few cooking tricks on a trip to india)....enjoy going to see a band and have a bit of a boogie on the weekends;).....like a cheeky gin n tonic from time to time....hit me up if youre keen. ...cheers, kirst
As my current housemate is moving out and we're now on a month by month lease, I'm either looking to team up or move out by start of September. I can bring a lot of items; fridge, washing machine, etc. to assist with the house set up if you're looking to team up. I have lived with others in shared accommodation for the last 12 years, so very used to what needs to be done to make it work. The difference is this time I'm looking to bring along two (mainly indoor) pet rabbits with me. I'm 30 and have two part time jobs, one in Bayswater and one in Camberwell. I spend my down time playing board or card games, having a few drinks at a pub or bar, and learning swing dancing. I'm also veg, so would prefer to live with non-meat eaters. Hope and CB (Commander Bun-Bun) are also veg, getting some rays on warmer days and spending the other times indoors lazing in their hutch or playing in their pen.
Hi there! I'm moving up to Melbourne in the next month or so to study up at Deakin Uni in Burwood. I currently live in Bendigo (central vic) which is about 90 minutes away. I will be a full time student at Deakin, and will be travelling down to Bendigo every second weekend for work (at least until I get sick of doing that, then I'll get a job in Melbourne). I'm looking to live in a shared house with about 2 or 3 other people, and would prefer to live as close to the Burwood area as possible but I don't mind travelling if I find an awesome house. I love socialising & meeting new people, drinking lol, binge watching everything and I have a weird thing about ordering a chicken parma everywhere I eat. Ironically I also like (trying) to keep fit. Also sorry for the awkward photo. The only recent photos I have of me all feature an alcoholic bev in my hand or are a group pic so this photo will have to do. I am happy to live with people either studying or working :)
Hi I'm Johnny, I'm a strategy manager at a digital agency for work. Some weeknights I attend classes or go for a swim and others I like to wind down with a cup of tea and a chat or netflix binge together. Weekends I'm equally comfortable doing home-body stuff or getting out and exploring! I enjoy playing some guitar and also recently started doing more cooking.
I am a quiet tidy mature age student who enjoys cooking, dancing, watching dvds, reading, watching AFL (I am a diehard Saints supporter) and although I enjoy socialising with others, I also enjoy having time alone and quiet moments so I can study, read, etc. I respect your privacy and belongings, but expect the same in return.
Hi all! My name's Natalie and I'm a 23-year-old graduate business analyst at a large corporate (gosh, it feels weird not being able to just say 'student' anymore :'). I graduated from Deakin at the start of this year, and have been living in the CBD since the start of 2016. While it's been great, it's time for me to move on to somewhere closer to work (in Hawthorn East). I know lots of young people looove the city, but coming from regional VIC where I'm originally from and having the habit of driving everywhere, I actually found it a bit too busy and noisy for my liking (albeit pretty city views are da' bomb!). I've lived in and out of home since the start of uni in 2012, and have worked since I was 15. Whilst I've been really, really fortunate to always find amazing people to live with in the past, I've definitely also come across (during my searches) my share of cramped (3 or more peeps in a room) and dirty sharehouses; places with curfews (literally - a 'lights out' time of 10pm), rules about having people of the opposite sex over, and interesting cooking restrictions. Needless to say, I never followed up! =P I'm not overly fussed about cleanliness but do appreciate a neat-ish home, so am obviously happy to play my part in maintaining one. I'm pretty sociable, so do love the occasional shared dinners, like watching movies/good TV shows with housemates/going out or whatever - but can also totally respect your space. Not one for a party house as I love sleep too much, and am a total lightweight xD I do have a great boyfriend who is the same age, and similar in that we're a kind of boring, career-focused and sensible couple; I'd expect him to be over a couple of times a week (if that) but he has his own place and would not be 'living' with me. You'll like him too, promise! As for hobbies - I do pretty much anything in good company, but like doing nerdy things like reading, writing, chilling on the keys and singing when I'm feeling solitary. Think that covers most things but please feel free to ask me about anything else! Not in a rush to move out too soon at all but am putting feelers out to see what's out there, and could potentially move earlier if I find the right place. Do let me know if you think we might be a good fit :) Thanks!
I'm Of Irish stock a sense of humor reliable and clean.I don't run out hot water.WORK In CONSTRUCTION Grew Up MtWaverley with 7 Siblings and help the poor the lonely the suffering .Ride push bike a lot and do work for the Church.
I am a hardworking male looking for a room to stay in, and making new friends I work and study, but enjoy downtime at home
Neat and clean, Like to meet new people at same time i like my own space, love cooking (vegetarian :D).. huge fan of sports footy (AFL), cricket and tennis. I also work full-time in the university
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 28 and live a pretty clean lifestyle. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 5yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a longer term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.
Hey. We are Isabelle and Salvy in mid 20s. Salvy is working full time as a booking manager and Isabelle is working in chemist. We are looking for a large room to fit queen size bed, preferably with ensuite bathroom (if not that's fine to) and close to the train station. We both are open minded, easy going, responsible and clean. Love to have a drink, a good conversation but sometimes just relax and watch a movie. (:
Hi! My name is James, I'm a 28 year old engineer, I'm originally from Newcastle but I've been living in Northcote for the last three years and enjoying Melbourne life. I'm a pretty laid back guy that's respectful of space, keeps communal areas clean and tidy but will also not be a room hermit- always keen for a beer, a catch up and the occasional house BBQ/chat. I love my sport, basketball and rugby mainly, but any sort of live sport is pretty up my street and I'll be happy to watch or play whatever comes my way- I get into the city as much as I can to catch a game. I'll be bringing along my dog Jemima, a small Jack Russell, 5 years old, with me- she's pretty much the perfect house dog, quiet, friendly but not needy, and used to sleeping outside so won't be roaming the house. I don't have any noisy hobbies like drumming so you don't have to worry about me making to much noise and I'll be working 7-5 Monday to Friday so weeknights will be pretty chilled out for me. On the weekends I like to be pretty busy so if I'm not in the gym I'll be walking the dog or heading out for a few beers with some mates- my girlfriend recently moved to London so you won't be seeing her about the house much and I'll not be bringing loads of people back to partying for all hours!
I was asked to write what makes me great to live with? this is a tough one lets make a list: 1. I will make you laugh even at my own expense 2. I can have philosophical conversations if you want 3. I am really considerate towards other people 4. I like bringing happy and chill vibes to the place 5. Try to keep everything clean 6. I like playing video games and witty banter. 7. I get along with everyone and am down to earth Currently working full time as well. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, concerns, emotional outbursts e.t.c Cheers
I am a 20 year old Kiwi who moved here 4 years ago to attend uni. I have a strong sense of humour, LOVE animals, am quiet but I don't mind going out for a drink now and again - not a party animal tho. I am really into art, reading and Netflix, I can make great pasta and can reach high shelves :) Not looking to move until February 20th!
Hiya Im Jess, I am a 21 year old qualified hairdresser - And Cameron is a 22 year old Photographer - we’re both very creative people, who both have interests in various pop culture, books, board/video games, movies and music. - We are looking for people with similar interests, who don’t mind pitching in to keep the house clean, as everyone should be responsible. - As a hairdresser, I do a lot of home clients (on top of my job at the salon), while also working extra night hours at woolworths. Camerons job has him often out working late, so we aren’t always home. - We aren’t party people, and don’t wanna live in a party house, but are likely to have people over for board/video games or drinks on weekends. - I spend most of my free time, binge watching Netflix or reading (or going out to play Dungeons & Dragons) - and Cameron spends a lot of time looking into various (confusing, but cool) photography things. - 100% LGBTIQ Friendly. If you have a pet, that’s fine – but no long haired animals. (Im not a fan of finding fur on my clothes etc. and Im sadly, incredibly allergic to cat fur) - this would also depend on having landlords permission We want to START a NEW home (preferably with no more than 2 other people of a similar age) where no one feels lesser than another, where everyone is comfortable to bring family/friends over for dinner etc. - But we are also interested in moving into an existing sharehouse. If interested, please message me and I will happily give my mobile number for further conversations. (we have a TONNE of kitchen stuff, a spare tv and couch - ideally we'd like to bring them all with us on top of our bedroom furniture)
Hey there! I'm Niel. I'm a 25 years old IT Professional. I am Clean, Friendly, Reliable, Respectful and Private. I'm hoping to find someone similar to Team Up with. I'm easy going and generally chill type of guy. I can either be a quiet roommate who is always in his room giving you space and privacy or the type that starts/joins in on themed nights. Up to whatever you're happy with. I love my job and I would be more than happy to help out with any IT questions. I live and breathe computers, tech and gadgets (specially home automation). At the current time, my move to Melbourne is definitely happening but I'm currently waiting for the details from work. In saying that, it would be nice to scout around and see possible Flatmates I can team up with!
- 23 year old Software Developer working in Camberwell - Social and actually around the house - Clean and always pay rent/bills on time - Happy to stay a long term if the fit is right - Carlton tragic - favourite phrase is 'all day breakfast' - As the job suggests I spend a it of time online (I hope you like bad puns, and hilarious memes) - Beer and Scotch kind of a guy. (so if something goes wrong this is the best way to break the news) - Currently living solo so I have (most of) the furniture and appliances needed to start up a new place, however I can find somewhere else for it if you just have a room for me! What I'm looking for: - Close to public transport - Social and friendly room mate/s. Pretty flexible and easy going, If you think we'd get a long send me a message and we could grab a coffee and have a chat! Note: My current lease finishes towards the end of September but if the right opportunity comes up, I'm happy to move some time during September. Happy to team up with the right people too.
Me and my husband are from the Philippines. We will be traveling to Melbourne by next month since I will be attending a university. We observe hygiene and cleanliness. Also, we aren't the noisy type of people and we certainly give value to other people's personal space.
Hey guys, I'm a mature age student at Monash uni studying to become a Paramedic. To stave off poverty I work at a JB Hifi (so good discounts for the house!). I have no prejudices or concerns about anyone's gender/sexual preferences/race/culture, etc. I'm pretty easy going, clean and friendly. Just looking for somewhere clean and comfortable to live. I'm out a bit with work and study commitments and respectful of others space and needs. Happy to be social or give you space as needed. Looking for people who are also easy going, clean and happy to share the odd meal, beer or glass of wine. Cheers!
My name is Tahlia, I'm 19 and I'm looking at leaving home (finally!) A little about me, I graduated high school in 2016 and am currently studying an Associate Degree Of Arts at Deakin University Burwood, majoring in Media and Public Relations. I am a music fanatic! I love going to concerts and going out in general. I look forward to making new friends, although I can be a little shy at first. I love to cook! As a roommate, I am tidy, fun, down-to-earth, kind, supportive, a great listener, I little introverted but extroverted when I want to be. and most of all, I accept boundaries and respect other peoples opinions, morals and values. I also do not judge and try to keep an open mind as much as humanly possible in today's day and age! I look forward to hearing from you!
Hello :D I'm moving to Melbourne on the 25th of August so I'm looking for a new place to live and hopefully have that sorted before I get there. I've been living in Perth for the past 3 years and have decided that its time for a change and some new experiences and adventures. I'm a down to earth, quite active and outgoing 26yo girl originally from Croatia. Prefer a clean house but always up for hanging out and having some fun. Don't know many people in Melbourne yet so it would be nice to find some friendly house mates that appreciate your owns space so I can get some studying done but also like to hang out. As I'm still trying to fit my life in a suitcase I currently don't have any furniture so a furnished room or at least a bed included would be amazing. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
I love to bake, garden, and dance in the kitchen in PJ's. When I'm not in & out of the house (Which can be pretty often!) I love a good Netflix & chocolate night, or some uber-competitive board/card gaming. I cook for a hundred people (by accident) at a time, and I have a semi-obsessive love for ajax spray & wipe ;)
I'm a 25 year old post grad student from India. I'm here to pursue my Master of Business degree in Sports Management at Deakin and will be working part time as well. I'm a very friendly, chilled out guy capable of adapting to new surroundings with ease. I'm approachable, considerate and very easy to get along with. You can talk to me about anything, I will gladly have a chat with you. Need any help with something and I will do my best to help you. More importantly, I've spent 6 years of my student life living in shared accommodation, so I'm well aware of the responsibilities one may have. I appreciate cleanliness and hygiene. I enjoy sports (both watching and playing), music, travelling, reading and watching movies. I also enjoy socializing over Coffee or a few drinks occasionally. I love animals, so I won't have any problem having pets around. I have some experience in maintaining the garden from back home, so I can even help you with that on my free time should you need me to.

Hey, my name is Jayden, 23. Currently working at Chadstone, and I will be returning for postgrad study next year at deakin, so looking to move to the area to make life easier. I'm looking for something around $150 inc, but I can increase for the right fit. This will be my first time living out of home, and ideally looking for somewhere long term, perhaps with people in a similar situation. The move date is just a random date I chose, I'm not in a rush, looking to get to know people before I commit to the move I really enjoy baking and cooking, and will probably spend a lot of time trailing new recipes and such. I'm fructose intolerant, which annoyingly means I can't eat more than just fruit, so anyone in a similar boat would be great, but definitely not a requirement. I enjoy a good night in with some wine and a movie. I'm reasonably quiet and clean and tidy. Feel free to text or message me if you want to know anymore. Thanks, Jayden

Hi. I'm Shahram 37 yo. I'm very easy going, clean and tidy. I'm after a place to call it home. I respect other ppl's privacy but also happy to share a meal and have some chats even outdoor activities if you like. I have a full time professional job and just finished my master degree. I have a car and a parking spot would be great. I love cats and puppies but not indoor, so I can't join if you have indoor pets. Thanks.
I'm respectful, polite and pick up after myself around the house. I enjoy living in a clean house and am generally a healthy eater but don't be upset if the cupboard is stocked up with lollies! I tend to treat home as a space to recover from social demands and am fairly quiet around the house and tend to avoid drama. I work full-time and hope to find a room that can accomodate a king size bed as I'd prefer not to buy a new one ☺️ I also budget well which means I always have money to meet my living expenses and am non-smoker who rarely drinks. If you'd like to know more, just send me a message.. 😄
I've spent 2 and a half years out of home so I know how to survive by myself. I love going out and being social but I also like to have some quiet time occasionally. I'm studying Commerce/Journalism at Monash and work part-time so I lead a pretty busy life but I still need people to be able to relax and destress with. I'm clean, organised and will always pay my bills on time. I'd love to find a great bunch of people to live with so get in touch.
Likes to live in a calm and quiet place. Wont be bothered by a little bit of noice from time to time. Likes to stay clean and in a tidy place.
