Hi, I am Thilina , an IT professional who is moving to Melbourne on 5th Feb with my family. I have three kids and they are at the age of nine(boy), three(boy) and 6months(girl) Both short and long term preferred.
Hi there, I'm currently working full time in Hawthorn and am looking to move closer to work than from where I currently reside (in Narre Warren). I am very easy going and love to interact with new people and share in new experiences. I am a passionate landscape and nature photographer and as such I always try to be out and about and traveling to places with my camera.
Very easy going, reliable and clean. Going back to study full time, part time job on the side. Ideally seeking others who are interested in teaming up for a new share house as I have had nightmares moving into rooms in existing share-houses in regards to outstanding bills upon moving in, bond transfers... etc. Would prefer a fresh start, with the lease and bills in everyones name. However would consider moving into an unfurnished room in an existing house given that everything is sorted out properly and the existing housemates are the right fit. Move in date on or just before the 18th of march when my current lease expires. Flexible with stay length but would ideally like a minimum of one year so things are nice and settled. Send me a message if you are interested in teaming up or have something that you reckon would be suitable.
I’m moving from Canberra to Melbourne in early February to start an Arts degree at Melbourne University. I’ve been living in share housing for the last 3 years so I understand the importance of respecting your housemates and their privacy, but I am a very chatty and friendly person and love spending time with housemates. I am very respectful, clean and friendly. I love cooking and am happy to make meals for the house the share, I'm also always up for a talk and a drink. Please let me know if you have any questions about me, looking forward to hearing from you soon :) Sophie
My name is Jess and I am 27 years old. I am currently working as a Customer Service Officer on a full time basis at Box Hill Institute. I am originally from Mt Macedon in the Macedon Ranges and have lived out of home since I was 18 when I went to university living in College and then in share houses. I have completed a Bachelor of Arts (Languages) and a Bachelor of Education (P-12). My interests include: sport, travel, reading, shopping and spending time with friends and family. I love to just love having a cuppa or a wine and chatting. My weekends mostly consist of going to the footy. I like meeting all different kinds of people. I am looking for social housemates who like having the occasional meal/drink together while living our own separate lives. I like to keep all communal areas tidy and want housemates who are respectful in that. I am looking for housemates who are kind, caring and respectful of others.
Hey guys, I have been living in Darwin for the past couple of years, however, university has brought me to Melbourne. Currently studying Business sports management at Deakin with 2 years left on my degree. I'm 27 years old and have lived out of home in shared houses a number of times and for a number of years. I have lived in Toowoomba, Brisbane, Barcelona and Darwin. I am currently employed at Sportsbet (darwin office) and working through my transfer to the Melbourne Centre. My interests are in sport, healthy living, business, reading and being social. I like to live in a positive, clean, friendly environment. Love to be social and have a few quiet drinks now and again, however, I'm definitely not a party animal lol. Like to also have some down time and space for myself where I can focus on my studies and the things I need to do. Fun, friendly, positive guy who is very keen on checking out and exploring what Melbourne has to offer :)
Hi. I'm a 29 year old primary school teacher. I studied Exercise Science in Melbourne and finished in 2009. For the last six years I have traveled and worked at Adventure Camps with kids. I have lived in Canada and England. I love being active, sociable and also relaxing. Respecting peoples things and space is important. I am currently looking for a place for myself, however in April my Canadian girlfriend (Emily) will be moving to Australia. She is a dietitian working in Uganda. We love to cook (Emily is much better than me, I am an excellent helper) and have a glass of wine/scotch. We are both very welcoming, friendly and positive people, it's important to us that any place we live feels like a home for us and everyone in it. If we are cooking flatmates/friends are always welcome to join, with no obligation. I am looking for a place with an on-suite/private bathroom. Male/Female/couples are welcome to contact me. If any of this sparks an interest feel free to shoot me a msg and we can catch up and see if it's a match. Definitely open to teaming up. Looking to move ASAP as the school term starts in less than 2 weeks.
Hi, I'm Julie, coming to Melbourne from France in order to study Mechanical Engineering at Swinburne as an exchange student, and I would like to find somewhere to call home :) I will be studying at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus so I'm looking for a room near Lilydale or Alamein railway line, or tram line 16,70 or 75, or bus route 624 or even better within walking distance from the campus ! I'm 19 going 20 and I would like to find flatmates about the same age (let's say preferably from 18 to 25 but I'm not very rigid about it). I'm quiet but social and I would like to share time with my flatmates (share meals, enjoy movies, have a cup of tea ... :P) I'm considerate of people's privacy and I clean up after myself. I like to study in common spaces (living room, kitchen ...) so I can see people passing by while studying :P. I do not need a lot of personal space : a small room would do it for me. I do not smoke nor drink. Cheers !

I'm easy to get along with and am very trustworthy and reliable. I'd love to move in with flatmates who enjoy hanging out while also respecting each other's personal space. I'd be more than happy to tell you a little bit more about myself so feel free to get in touch! Hope to hear from you soon :)

I am always on time with paying rent, bills etc. And am most definitely clean and tidy. I'm looking to start up a new share house or find a room closer to Uni.
A young working professional in mid-twenties who is also attending university for a Master's in Business. Easy going and social but also have a very busy schedule so I am out of the house quite often. Love to maintain a clean common area and keep an orderly house but also like to relax and share a glass of wine or meal with the roomies. Ideally would love to find a couple of like-minded friends to start a sharehouse together.
Hi i am Sarab. I'm from India. Will be joining Deakin University to study full time course from feb 2017. In search of a place near the uni only. Very friendly person, love to hang out with friends, like some privacy as well and also respect the privacy of others too.
Full time graphic designer. I love cooking, music, and wine. I enjoy trips down the coast and going out for meals sometimes. I like having friends around occasionally. I work hard but really enjoy my downtime (mostly used for food and Netflix).
Hi, I'm an easy going relaxed male. I do a number of things that are creatively inspired, mainly behind the scenes as a project manager/producer. I also work in the women's footwear industry. Whilst my daily professional life out of the home is very people focused, therefore requiring me to be 'UP' all of the time, my home life is about being relaxed and taking time out, but don't get me wrong, a G &T from time to time wouldn't go a miss. Being clean, tidy and respectful of people's space is part of the course. My actions speak louder then words! I love the outdoors, especially being by rivers and lakes - It's the perfect escape from the concrete jungle!
I am a student at Deakin University from Sri Lanka, 20 years old, studying public relation to get into entertainment pr in the future. I am fun and also clean and tidy, most importantly I pay everything on time, LOL.

You can tell me off :) I don't have OCD but I don't like clean people's messy. I like do my own chores and privacy too. I have badly allergic with cats so if you already have one please dont contact me.. I don't want sneeze all the time. I am dog person :)

Fun loving and ready to hang out once in a while or in the weekends, but always respect privacy and hope for the same in return. would be more than happy to help out with the house chores. Don't have pets but do not mind having them around.
Hey,I'm from Asian and have been living in Mel for 2yrs, just finished a master degree but still doing part-time jobs and study. I was sharing rooms with other Asians during the last 2 yrs and still hanging out with them. Could be very quiet and like having friends' company and enjoying time by myself ( like encouraging people to try different things with me),too. Tidy( sometimes a bit pushy if we don't have a clean public area, *o*, not sure why I am like a mommy). Welcome pets and kids. Hope I can have my own cat and dog one day , it would be very funny to watch them fight everyday, Haha &*@#$%. I currently volunteer for people with disablities. Best advantage of having me: I could teach u to cook dumplings!
Single female, clean, quiet, respectful. Recently re-located back to Melb looking for a new home, and relaxed lifestyle. I like animals but don't have any. Preferably furnished place, but not a big concern. Have 2 adult children. Previously worked in aged care, and recently as a receptionist. Enjoy being outdoors, walking, socialising, dancing, reading, spending time with family and friends.
Young female student, mature and interested in business and IT. I'm quiet and can adapt to almost anything. Always a helpful hand around the home. A difficult home situation has lead me to this option which I'm hoping to succeed in.
Me and my girlfriend are looking to get out and rely on ourselves hard working easy going couple looking for a granny flat room / bungalow something with some space for us we are friendly up for a chat or if you like your privacy that okay too no pets, 2 cars tho one smoker but only outside
I am easy-going, clean and tidy, independent and housetrained :) I enjoy relaxing after work watching tv, browsing the net/reading &/or walking/swimming sometimes. On week-ends I enjoy visiting family (in the country) friends and enjoying life and the great outdoors when possible.
Hi Guys, My name is Prue and I'm looking for a very large bedroom, one I can use both as a bedroom and a study area. I work 4 days a week in HR and am finishing off my fashion degree on the side. I have a beautiful burmese cat by the name of Ollie. He's 3 years old and is more part dog/part monkey than cat and super smoochy. He's an indoor little dude but I do let him outside supervised. I'm super clean (not anal) and believe in sharing the duties around the house. I like to cook my own food but definitely up for sharing a meal, wine and gorging on TV series with my housemate. I'm not looking for a party house and would prefer to live with females only. I come with a big ass Westinghouse stainless steel fridge, Bosch washing machine, 2 great outdoor chairs and a tonne of movies (bit of a fan) - however I can store the fridge/washer/chairs if not needed. I also have all my bedroom furniture so I'm looking for an unfurnished room. So if you have a large bedroom for rent and like the sound of the little monkey and I, sent me a message or text. Move dates are flexible for me :)
HI :) I am originally from Switzerland, but am currently studying Film Production and Animation at the University of Worcester in the UK. I have been accepted for a semester (or trimester) abroad at Deakin University for T1 this year. My intended stay would be from early February 2017 to June or July 2017 (exact dates are quite flexible). As a house mate I like my personal space but I enjoy the occasional meal together, love film evenings / nights and trips. I like living in a clean and tidy space, so having like minded house mates in that regard is quite important to me. I also want to consider the place I stay a home so I don't appreciate parties and pre drinks and such at home. Again, it would be great if my future house mates would feel similarly. Generally I am a real film enthusiast, love music (definitely want to try to go to a few concerts) and have a passion for the arts in general. Languages are my second weakness (as in, I want to learn too many too fast). I enjoy good books and all things analogue. I have not been able to keep any pets because of frequent moves, but should the house I will move into have pets, I am definitely not going to complain. I want to try a couple of extreme sports as well if I can while in Australia (Bungee jumping, cliff diving, etc.). As I cannot think of anything else to add about myself, please do ask any questions you may have, I will gladly answer them. Cheers Audrey
I am a friendly person who can get along with people who are polite. i would love to hangout with roommates if they are interested. i respect privacy of others but love to have a good chat in the evenings and would love to out and become friends with everyone.
Hi, My name is Srikanth Reddy. I am from Hyderabad, India. I am looking to study in Deakin for my Masters. I am friendly and I love meeting new people, especially from diverse backgrounds. I watch various sports for fun and sometimes play too. I party occasionally and love to hike, trekk etc. I believe our thoughts are influenced by the surroundings we live in, so I try to keep my surroundings as clean as possible. Looking forward to meet you. Cheers!
Looking for a place for myself and my partner Josh. I'm currently seeking new forms of employment, but also looking at my study options in Melbourne, which will include me attending Swinburne or Monash Universities, and studying Nursing. Josh is working full time, as a Customer Service Representative in a lock smith company. Josh is currently located in Perth, and is moving to Melbourne in March. We would strongly prefer, to have a place for ourselves or limited people, and a furnished room. If Bills can include, gas / water / power and internet, that would be great, else we can work something out. Josh's work is located around Mount Waverley, so somewhere between that and the city, would be ideal. Also my partner has a car, and i'll be looking at buying one soon. So street parking or parking available would be great. Would be great if the rent included bills! Thanks.
Hi, I am a vet nurse and her pooch looking for a place to call home. Like my dog I'm a bit of a forever puppy, that being said I work hard and that includes longish hours 4 days a week. I'm 27 and live a pretty clean lifestyle apart from the cheeky cigarette at the end of the day. I'm not apposed to hanging out/a movie marathon with a glass of wine/beer or whatever, but also more than happy to entertain myself if you are more on the private side. My dog 4yo dog absolutely adores people, he is a big boy so that may not be everybody's cup of tea but he will do his utmost to make you fall in love with him (It's not hard), don't worry though he knows he's not a lap dog! I am very open minded and accepting and looking to share a home with like minded people. I'm looking at a 4 month minimum stay, but could definitely do a long term stay depending on how suitable the situation is. I am looking for a place to call home.
Yo, my names Tom and I just graduated high school in Adelaide! I rock climb lots and therefore have killer abs, enjoy reading, mixing music (I'll bring some dope speakers over from Adelaide to share + promise to not use them loudly or in excess) as well as cycling, motorcycling, swimming, yoga, reading and casual doodling! I'm also pretty techy, love computers and have worked for 4 years as a barista in a dodgy coffee shop! I graduated last year with a 96.6 Atar (Physics, Maths Studies, English Studies, Music Ensemble + Solo performance and Chemistry) and am hoping to study either a course in computer science or a double degree in arts/science @ Monash... However, all that being said, I'm basically pretty quiet easy going dude, so if you're looking for someone friendly who won't be a hassle, I'm your bloke! P.S. I can cook, clean, wash clothes and all that jazz because my mum is a legend and taught me how since I was a little-tiny-tootsie-toddler. Would give myself an IKEA furniture+ rating for DIY skills, could put up homemade shelves and whatnot in a pinch!
I am a French student and I am going to do an internship in a consultancy agency in Camberwell. I will work Monday to Friday. I am looking for clean and neat flatmates but I am also looking for fun flatmates to have a chat and go out on weekends.
I am Daryl, friendly yet responsible person. I like meeting new friends and have a chat with them. I am an overseas student , came from the Philippines. I love to travel, listen to good music and of course sleep. I can be responsible with chores in the house that's why i can easily get along with.
