Ahoy, I'm Ollie. A relaxed, employed 29 year old, and part-time psychology student. A bit of an ambivert, I comfortably flow between socialisation and independently pursuing my own curiosities. Some of these are learning music, an eclectic array of DIY projects (from sewing to programming), and plenty of cooking (if only to keep ample hummus abound). I could bring to a house a lush tea and spice assortment, a decent sound system (don't worry, I have headphones), solid computer know-how, a washing machine, and a presence that is well honed in the art of taking care of oneself and being a conscientious housemate. I've run share-houses before and can summon references from both landlords and former housemates if need be. All said, hopefully I'll hear from you soon. If not, best of luck regardless. Ollie.
! My name is Luis Escobar. I´m from Mexico and im doing a master at monash uni. My master is on environmental management and sustainability. I am neat and tidy and love movies and games. Im kind of a gamer my self and love to meet new people. I am outgoing and responsible. My core values are friendship, respect and honor. I speak a little bit of German and Japanese. I am here for one year so my stay would be for that time.
Hi! I'm super easy-going, tidy and very clean, and financially reliable. I'm a paramedic, so you won't have to suffer my company too often with all the shift work :P I like to keep healthy and fit (housemates are welcome to join in for workouts! Haha) and I love to cook. I play jazz trumpet and I do occasional painting. I'm outdoorsy - enjoy regular camping and hiking. I do have two mostly indoor Bengal cats (both~2yo, and hypo-allergenic) who are freaking adorable. I would ideally prefer to live with other cat-lovers, it makes life much easier. Please know I am a very responsible pet owner, but the occasional help of cat-feeding would be appreciated what with night shifts etc. I'd love to be able to make a friend out of my prospective housemate(s), but I understand everyone needs their space of course. That's me :)
Hi, I'm an easy going relaxed male. I do a number of things that are creatively inspired, mainly behind the scenes as a project manager/producer. I also work in the women's footwear industry. Whilst my daily professional life out of the home is very people focused, therefore requiring me to be 'UP' all of the time, my home life is about being relaxed and taking time out, but don't get me wrong, a G &T from time to time wouldn't go a miss. Being clean, tidy and respectful of people's space is part of the course. My actions speak louder then words! I love the outdoors, especially being by rivers and lakes - It's the perfect escape from the concrete jungle!
I'm am very easy going and drama free. I enjoy having a laugh and I am respectful of others. I also like to keep a house clean. I work full-time as a sales manager and often work long hours although I am looking to improve my work/life balance. I am just getting out of a long-term relationship and I am wanting to build a new life. I have also just started playing sports to help improve fitness
I'm an honest, easy going uni student. Love to have a laugh and am very easy to get along with. I'm originally from a really small town in country SA and have come to Melbourne to study at Uni so it's an awesome experience for me to see a city of this size! I am a sporting nut willing to give everything a shot and a generally nice person to be around, Cheers Abba
We are three guys that need to find a place to live as our lease is ending soon. We are all very laid back and have different personalities and professions. Im studying laboratory technology, Kahn is studying law and Dylan is a landscaper. Really we would like to live in any eastern suburb that isnt too far out of the city so we can still access uni and work.
Hey! My name is Taylor, I'm a 21 year old female looking for a house to share with some lovely people in Burwood (or surrounding suburbs) as I have just started my bachelor of psychological sciences at Deakin Uni. I work part time in Doncaster, am not a party animal but am social and open to parties if that's what suits the house. I'm easy going, tidy and respect personal space whilst also enjoying the company of others. I really like animals, however, won't be bringing any of my own. I'm also not a smoker but don't mind if anyone else is. I like a whole lot of stuff and if you want to know more or If you like the sound of living with me and think I might be a suitable candidate, hit me up! Taylor :)
My name is Tahlia, I'm 18 and I'm looking at leaving the nest later in 2017, after I turn 19, so Mid August/Early September. A little about me, I graduated high school in 2016 and am currently studying an Associate Degree Of Arts at Deakin University Burwood, majoring in Media and Public Relations. I am a music fanatic! I love going to concerts and going out in general. I look forward to making new friends, although I can be a little shy at first. I love to cook! As a roommate, I am tidy, fun, down-to-earth, kind, supportive, a great listener, I little introverted but extroverted when I want to be. and most of all, I accept boundaries and respect other peoples opinions, morals and values. I also do not judge and try to keep an open mind as much as humanly possible in today day and age! I look forward to hearing from you!
We are a couple from Hong Kong and Taiwan (27 & 29 yo) both of us are students (English and Patisserie) now, working part time. We are non-smokers. We have been in Australia for at least 3 years. After finishing our 2-year Working Holiday visa, we decided to stay here to learn English and more about Australia. We are both easy-going and love to make new friends. In our spare time, we love to play sports, go camping and cooking sometimes. We can move in in early April, planning to stay long-term, with a budget of $300 per week.
Just dropped out of Latrobe and need a new place to live because I was on res. I work part time at BWS and am currently looking for full time work. I plan on going back to uni next year so want to get a house nearish to Swinburne. I'm a pretty laid back person, clean and respect privacy but I'm also interested in living in a house with people who enjoy a few bevs every now and again :)
Hi guys this is yash , i am 19 and studying BBA at holmesglen Chadstone and i work part time on the weekends I am kind of quiet, easy going and friendly and dont mind a good company . Apart from that i am a person who likes to keep things clean and hygenic. THAT's all :)
I moved to Melbourne from Brisbane about 6 Months ago. I used to be a Tennis coach in the sunny state but am now working at Securinvest Financial Planners in Wheelers Hill. I have been staying with some cousins while I get a bit more used to Melbourne, but traveling to work sucks, so looking for a place that's a bit easier to get to work. I don't mind a casual beer in the afternoon and I try to get out on the weekend. I have learned to be a pretty tidy person in my own space but am also easy going with whatever the house vibe happens to be. My goal this year is to get better at golf because I suck! My biggest weakness is an addiction to AFL DreamTeam (not a weakness).
Hi, my name is Tran-Tuan from Vietnam. I’m 26 years old and studying MBA Program at Deakin University. I’m very quiet, clean & tidy; I spend most of my free time running my business in Vietnam. I love Jazz music, discovering art galleries and music store with friends at the weekend. Sometimes I like chilling out every Saturday night at lounge/bar, listen to live music and enjoy a grass of wine and a cigar with my friends. (don’t worry I love collecting Cigar but I NEVER Smoke at home) I want to rent/share a room/house/apartment with private bathroom and live with friendly housemates. . I 'm looking forward an inspection this weekend.
A student in Deakin University and here for my final year. My main preference would just be cleanliness the shorter the is distance to my campus, the better. I'm fine with sharing rooms and I'm a very sociable person. Would like to move in ASAP.
Hey :) My boyfriend and I are looking for a room to move into at the end of this month/ beginning of next. We are looking for a place convinient for both Uni and our work places. We are both students, I am studying biological science and my boyfriend, Cody is studying law. We both work, and are financially stable. We are very relaxed and tidy, love to cook, enjoy casual socialising and are very easy going. Kind regards, Mathilda
All I need is to get to know new people and sharing a house together is a good way to start. I am a calm, understanding person with a smile on my face 24*7. Manages my work on my own, hence never a burden to anyone else.
I’m very creative and love my music. Other interests are gardening, I like to have a small vege & herb garden. I use the produce in my cooking. I've been told I'm a good cook. I enjoy catching up with friends, going to see live music, reading, going to the beach with my dog, yoga. Hi prospective housemates. I am looking to share a house with one person. I have everything needed to set up a share house. If you are contacting me re an existing share house, please note I will need a proper garage to store any of my belongings that won't fit in the house. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you! 😺
I'm Brit I am 24 years old. I am moving from adelaide to Melbourne for work. I am fun loving but I also appreciate some down time. I have a tiny pupper Nacho who is excited to meeting you! I own my own place here which I will rent out and I have a full time job so you don't have to worry about getting rent each week. I am neat, tidy and respectful to others.
Totally chill person, Just got into Deakin University, need a place to stay for a year or more under the budget with some nice similar age and mindset people.
Hey there, I'm Karoliina! I'm an international world traveller currently studying in Melbourne and looking for my next home. I'm looking for nice, laid back people! I generally keep to myself due to working and studying but love a good chat and party. I'm into the outdoors, gymming and spending time with friends on my days off. I'm really outgoing, happy, always smiling and full of energy. Preferably looking for a place under $160 p/w and open to pets (I'm not bringing any myself). Get back to me if you're up for a chat!
Hello everyone! Name's Amo Chakravarthy, and I'm a 19-year old bloke studying Politics and Public Relations at Deakin University, Burwood. A true ambivert, I'm pretty outgoing in general, however would prefer my alone-time, especially when I'm reading (an avid bibliophile), and making plans to takeover the world (the plans are pretty bad, honestly). I love to watch footy and soccer, binge-watch Netflix (favourites: House of Cards and Narcos), play Monopoly, travel, and most importantly, eat (an absolute foodie). I'm a bit messy, but that's confined to the walls of my room, and wouldn't mind if it's the same with you. Preferable move-in would be the 2nd or 3rd week of February. Maximum number of housemates would ideally be 4, and lease period would be a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of a year. Feel free to hit me up on FB. Hope to hear from you soon. Cheers!
I am a very friendly , reliable and chilled out person . I am very adjusting and respect every person's views. I am open minded and love music and dancing . Welcome chatting and drinks during weekends .
I've recently moved down to Melbourne from Sydney to pursue a professional swimming career. Because of this my hours are somewhat funky and involve early bed times/wake ups throughout the week but I'm not fussed by living in an action packed home. Outside of swimming some of my hobbies include specialty coffee, photography and pretty much anything to do with sport. I'm also not opposed to a few craft beers on weekends. Ideally I'm looking to move somewhere around Mt Waverly but am open to other options out east (Surrey Hills, Blackburn, Vermont etc). I'm a pretty easy going, clean individual as well as social but respectful of other people's space.

Hi!! Its Pranay and Gaurav , both of us are students at Deakin University. We are looking for an accommodation which is close to the university. We are friendly, fun loving and jovial guys. We are acceptable to all and love to connect with everyone. Currently we are looking for an accommodation which is clean, doesn't matter whether furnished or un-furnished and a organised place. Looking forward to moving to your place soon. ;)
Hello guys, i'm a 22 yr old male, studying masters in Deakin uni. I'm a fun loving guy easy going person, i'm big into photography. I clean up after myself, i like to keep things neat and tidy.
Hi! My name is James, I'm a 28 year old engineer, I'm originally from Newcastle but I've been living in Northcote for the last three years and enjoying Melbourne life. I'm a pretty laid back guy that's respectful of space, keeps communal areas clean and tidy but will also not be a room hermit- always keen for a beer, a catch up and the occasional house BBQ/chat. I love my sport, basketball and rugby mainly, but any sort of live sport is pretty up my street and I'll be happy to watch or play whatever comes my way- I get into the city as much as I can to catch a game. I'll be bringing along my dog Jemima, a small Jack Russell, 5 years old, with me- she's pretty much the perfect house dog, quiet, friendly but not needy, and used to sleeping outside so won't be roaming the house. I don't have any noisy hobbies like drumming so you don't have to worry about me making to much noise and I'll be working 7-5 Monday to Friday so weeknights will be pretty chilled out for me. On the weekends I like to be pretty busy so if I'm not in the gym I'll be walking the dog or heading out for a few beers with some mates- my girlfriend recently moved to London so you won't be seeing her about the house much and I'll not be bringing loads of people back to partying for all hours!
Moving back to Melbourne to start a Masters at Monash Uni. Looking for a place near the Clayton campus with good access to public transport. Most of my week will be taken up with study/class but I enjoy taking a break and hanging out with housemates in the evenings. My interests include reading, gym, quidditch, board games and the occasional drink. Looking for a home, not just a room.
I'll be in Europe in January/February and am looking for a place for when I get back to Melbourne at the end of February. I've spent nearly 2 years out of home so I know how to survive by myself. I love going out and being social but I also like to have some quiet time occasionally. I'm studying Commerce/Journalism at Monash and work part-time so I lead a pretty busy life but I still need people to be able to relax and destress with. I'm clean, organised and will always pay my bills on time. I'd love to find a great bunch of people to live with so get in touch.
I'm an easy-going, level-headed type that will take care of myself and keep things tidy. I love cooking and plan to do so each night during the week, and I have a car that I want to park somewhere near the house. Looking for my own room, but happy to share bathrooms, kitchens etc. I'll be keen for drinks or a meal with housemates when I'm around, but I am comfortable doing my own thing when at home. I try to keep myself busy with sport, music and volunteering, but I will be around the place on weeknights and weekends. My preference would be for a place with a relaxed vibe. Thanks! EDIT - that photo is super zoomed and a little creepy, apologies! :)
I'm reliable, honest, clean and quiet. For relaxation I enjoy reading, easy listening music and travelling. I'm not into social media. However, I am a teacher so police checked every year.
I am a full time receptionist, I am a clean and reserved person. I enjoy spending my time with my family and friends. I have respect for others and their belongings.
Hi I'm Jasmin, I work full time as a medical secretary (9-5 Mon - Fri) and looking preferably to team up with another female to find a place to rent relatively close to the city. I have lived in Melbourne my whole life and lived alone for the past year. I orginally lived with a friend who had to move interstate so I'm very well accustomed to the responsibility of keeping on top of bills. I do have furniture for a two bedroom apartment so I can provide all furniture needed. I do occasionally go out on the weekend but prefer to have a quiet night in during the week. If you are interested in teaming up with me, feel free to message me.
I love trying out new things, impromptu stuff are always fun, i love my own company meaning i will not be in your face all the times. I know how to mind my business and i don't mind pets around

My name is Dennis and I am 25 yr old backpacker from Germany. I've been living in Melbourne for the last 7 months and work full time as a chippy. So the money is coming in and the rent can be paid ;). I'm gonna stay in Melbourne for the next 12 months, and lookin for a new place to live. I'm well trained in living in shared houses back from my uni days in Germany, which means I'm tidy, clean, can look after myself and always up for a chat and a beer. I currently live in Chadstone, so if the room is still available please let me know and I'll come around for a chat. Cheers, Dennis !
Hi! I am a student looking for a place to live near/within reasonable distance to Monash Uni Clayton campus. I am in my third year of uni, and have moved out of uni halls. Currently I am living with family in Geelong while I find a place to live, but I would like to move somewhere closer to uni to save on very long commutes. I am looking at moving into a sharehouse with others because I would love to meet more people in Melbourne as I am originally from South Australia. I am a neat and friendly housemate, and I have experience living with other people and sharing facilities. I love going to gigs in Melbourne, travelling in the uni holidays and Netflix binges!

I want to make somewhere home..i want to feel comfortable to walk around in jocks and socks on a sunday after a night out. I want to know that i am not judged and what happens in or anything regarding the occupants is private. I want to make long term friends who can be honest and open and communicate any issues. Thank you for taking the time. Please read the whole thing as I may say something of interest to you. Please see section titled 'flexibility'. I am very friendly, responsible, and keep things clean. I work as a researcher at Monash. I also work as a Designer. -------------------- Interests -------------------- Tennis, Golf, News, and Gym. -------------------- Nationality: Australian -------------------- -------------------- My schedule -------------------- I will usually leave by 8 AM, and come back to sleep after 8-9PM. I don't have much of a footprint. -------------------- Requirements for stay -------------------- 1. Very quiet 10 PM on wards - I need to sleep 2. Internet (Decent) 3. Clean and doesn't smell bad ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My proposal ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------- Period of stay -------------------- I am on a flexible contract, which means that I may stay: 2 weeks (0.5 month) > UP TO > 12 weeks (3 months) - at this stage. It could be even longer if I get another contract. -------------------- Notice -------------------- I am given 3 days notice by Monash. I will try my best to give you up to 3-7 days notice. -------------------- Flexibility -------------------- In order to accommodate you, I am willing to accept 3-7 day notice. This will give you tremendous flexibility - to have someone rent your room so you can earn income from it as long as they are there, whilst you may seek someone for longer term should you desire it. When you find them, simply give me notice. -------------------- Budget -------------------- My budget is up to $175 per week incl. all. It depends on location, property condition, facilities, convenience to transport (train / tram / bus), people etc. -------------------- Payment -------------------- I will pay upfront each week to designated bank account. -------------------- Bond -------------------- I cannot pay bond for good reasons. Firstly, the risk of rent non-payment (as I will pay in advance) or damage does not exist. I will pay for it should the need arise or am obligated. My experience with landlords who take bond has been full of delays and issues. I am willing to sign a written agreement for mutual understanding and listing of any obligations. If it is still an issue even though it shouldn't be, then we can exchange IDs. -------------------- Move-in date -------------------- I can move in today/tommorow. I arrive in Melbourne today.
