My budget is up to $350/week and I'm looking within inner north/east Melbourne - Fitzroy, Brunswick, Richmond etc. A car space would be a huge bonus too. About me - I work in the recruitment industry in the CBD but WFH a day or two a week. Outside of work I love keeping busy and social, and I'm relatively new to Melbourne so will likely be spending a lot of time exploring. Unfortunately my landlord is selling my home so I will need to find a new place to live. I have a 10 year old son who lives with his mother and spends one night a week with me, sometimes a few more during school holidays. He's pretty chill and you wouldn't have to worry about making too much noise in the evening, because he sleeps like a rock most of the time. I also have a small ginger cat named Rocket who is very affectionate and, like most cats, spends 90% of his time asleep somewhere. I'd be interested in teaming up with another single parent, and maybe renting a three bedroom place with a room for our kids to share; or anyone who doesn't mind kids to be honest.

Hello! I’ve just moved to Melbourne from London and looking for more permanent digs. I’m a doctor with a fairly demanding work schedule so a sanctuary to come home to is definitely needed. I’m looking for somewhere calm and relaxing with other young professionals. I have heaps of interests that keep me busy when I’m free from the shackles of the emergency dept - I love attempting watercolour painting and going to life drawing classes, reading, being active either running/cycling/hiking and recently I’m converted to the cross fit cult. When the weekend hits I will be found exploring the restaurant scene, at a rooftop bar - negroni in hand, or searching for live music. I like to be independent and generally have a lot going on but it’s important to me that home is a safe and comfortable for all that live there and I would hope that my new housemates become good friends too.
