Hi Guys, Im Jack a 28 year old kiwi from Auckland who has been living in Melbourne for close to 4 years! I am looking for a decent sized room in a good sized house that has off street and secure parking, with flat mates in their mid to late 20s to early 30s, that will also become friends, and can kick with. I am a BDM for a Salesforce partner, and am very career focused which means I am really quiet during the week days! And most weekends. However, I am single, and I do love to head out to the city and on chapel every couple of weekends and kick on. I am not the type to bring the party home, and do not want to live in a party flat. I am an amateur boxer, therefore i spend a hell of a lot of time at my boxing gym. I also have a road legal race car, and require off street parking that is secure as I am terrified of having my car stolen! When I am not boxing or tinkering with my car, I will be watching movies or playing xbox (also game heavily). I am pretty normal in the sense that I like to go out for dinner with friends, get out and about and do new things. I can also cook pretty well (a hobby of mine) and am up for cooking for others :). Definitely not a hermit, am very social and would like to live with people who are similar. However, I need my space just like you will too, and I respect other people and their lifestyles. I am very clean and have lived in share houses since for 10 years, so I know the standard rules. I also have 2x fridges, 4x couches etc, washing machine etc... that i can bring if needed. If not, I can get rid of these items. Look forward to hearing from you, Jack
Kind and loyal single female from the sunshine coast Qld. Looking for a place to rent for 6 months. Working as a nurse full time in camberwell. Clean and keep to myself.
Hello there! We are Nathanael & Maximilian. We have plans to travel to Melbourne on the 15th of January 2019. Together we plan on working in Melbourne for a month or two until we can sort out a truck/van with all the essentials we need for a couple months on the road. Max and I met in New Zealand back at secondary school 3 years ago when he was on an exchange and I was a student. We have planned this trip for years and it has finally come time to make it happen. A bit about us Nathanael Lane - I am a 20 year old from New Zealand. In the past 2 years I have travelled all over Australia, China, New Zealand and Indonesia working as a freelance videographer and tradesman. I am a self sufficient, hard working young man who enjoys exploring, photography and am all about a good time. Maximilian Friedrich - I am a 19 year old from Germany. Over the past 2 years I have completed school and started my own clothing brand. I have worked in numerous places and have now travelled back to New Zealand with the hope of travelling, living and working in Australia. I enjoy music, reading and skating. We are open for anywhere to stay for up to 2 months. We are open to share houses and share rooms if need be. We have applied for jobs in the Glen Eira, and we will not have our own means of transportation in the first few weeks we are in Australia so anywhere close to a train station would be ideal. If you have a house with 2 beds available feel free to be in contact with us. CV/Resume's can be sent through on request. We look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Nathanael & Maximilian.
Clean, friendly and responsible. Finishing up my bachelors degree and will start work in health care. In my free time (...and when I should be studying) I enjoy listening to podcasts, being active and watching standup comedy. Wanting a female only residence with the exception of couples.
Hi! I'm an Italian girl and I will arrive in Melbourne in January 2019. I'm looking for a room since the end of January. I've been living in Spain for 4 years and I lived with people from all over the world! :)
I am a full time student, studying music at Monash University in Clayton. My job is as a music teacher and instrumental drum and percussion teacher but I do all of my teaching from a studio in Caulfield South. I am a tidy person, goal oriented, likes to keep healthy and enjoys a clean environment. Currently I do not have a partner in my life although it could be a possibility during my stay. I am searching for a flatmate/s who is also tidy, likes a clean environment and is understanding of the other person. A non-smoker would be ideal and gender is not important. I like lovely, interesting people who enjoy good conversations when the time is right as well.
I'm easy going guy, after work I usually chill out but my plan is to go to some language exchange meet ups more regularly when I find a place to move out, I'm making it my new year's resolution. I'm clean, I try really hard to make sure I'm not leaving any dirty dishes and that I clean them and dry them as soon as I'm finished using them. I don't mind scheduals if the person or People I'm living with like to work this way to keep the house in order. I'm a floor laying by trade I work from Monday to Friday 7am to when ever depending on how busy my day gets and occasionally weekeds. I always cook for my self, not really the type of person to cook a feast for others because can't be bothered sorry. Things I like to do for fun and in my spare time would be going to see a good band, Excersising, catching up with friends. Traveling, sketching random things that pop into my head, Learning to play guitar. Things I'm looking for When living with other people are respect, relaxed nature, tidiness, reliability, no pets ( I dont like feeling I have to look after other people's pets if they go away on holiday or for some other reason, that's all) I would also like to have access to off street park for security of having all my tools on my car. Well that's a bit about me, I look forward to talking to you soon Cheers :)
Full time shift worker in Prahran area. Keep to myself during work days and arm generally not home for 12+ hours. Enjoy running in the parks, gym and a good beer garden on days off.
Hello, guys, gals and non-binary pals! I am currently working at Luna Park so I am looking for something nearby or somewhere easy to get transport to and from work. I'm also looking for someone who can respect my privacy and understand if I get home late because of work. Someone who will support my own lifestyle and not judge me based on certain body modifications. I usually like to be by myself as I am an introvert but I'm always willing to go out and have fun and try new things! I'm very easy to get along with and I am super respectful of your privacy, your beliefs and your lifestyle. I'm very sarcastic and take the piss out of literally everything but I can be serious when needed. I'm just an overall fun and chill person. I can help clean and cook without making a fuss. I can give meaningful life lessons or advice if you ever need it, I'm always willing to help out. I'm very creative so whenever I'm not working you'll most likely find me in my room writing stories, drawing or singing along to music.
Hi I’m Tom, and myself and my girlfriend Liv are moving to Melbourne from Newcastle to study. We’re both studying at Monash, myself doing post grad enviro + sustainability and Liv undergrad Occupation therapy. We’ll also be working part-time. Looking for some friendly people with a room available in the Caulfield area. Will be in Melbourne the weekend of the 15th December to look at places.
Easy going, no drama. Have own online businesses. Just want to get things done and mind our own business. Looking for like minded people to share the place together
I am Originally from South Africa and have been in Melbourne for 6 years, so I still have a heavy accent. I am more of home body than a party animal although I do love a glass of red wine. I am not a morning person - I can't cope without my morning coffee. I am more of a night owl. I am always up for a relaxed night in watching movies or TV series - especially Game of Thrones! Would be nice to meet some new people and I love animals.
I'm a 24-year-old international student looking to move to Melbourne. I will be starting my postgraduate course at Monash University in February 2019 and I want to move in before that, preferably in Mid-January/Early February. I'm a quiet individual who likes keeping to himself but is not opposed to the idea of making new friends and having good conversations. I consider myself a neat person, can cook a few decent meals, and respectful of other people's boundaries. If I am not studying, you will probably find me playing games, trying out new food or reading.
28 years old, working full time. Quiet, clean, conscientious and looking for like minded housemates. Love the gym, running, rock climbing and cooking, not necessarily in that order.
My name is Suman and I am from Nepal. I am a post graduate student at La Trobe University studying Data Science. I work parttime in a restaurant in Highett. I Love watching movies and playing console games. I am looking for quiet and friendly environment.
I'v been in Melbourne now for 2 years, but lived in the same apartment in Abbotsford for the entire time, so am wanting to explore a new area. I work full time as a travel agent, but unfortunately only get to travel about twice a year- so you'd be stuck with me most the time! I would consider myself extremely easy going, neat, and considerate. Mostly a homebody, and I don't know enough people in Melbourne to have friends around often. Love to eat out, exercise, and well, travel- obviously hah ! Looking for something long term. My current lease isn't up until the 19th of Feb.
Hi there, my name is Ilse Verveer and I'm looking for a room from the end of January until June. I'm a 27 year old PhD student from the Netherlands and will be working full time during my stay in Melbourne. In my free time I like to go salsa dancing, running or watch Netflix. Looking for clean housemates that are in for a fun conversation.
I'm not a partier, but do enjoy socialising with a good group of friends. I am passionate about science, tech, and learning new things. I enjoy cooking, and sharing the results; I'm also quite handy at repair and fixing computer problems. I'm happy to live with all sorts of people, though being open-minded, honest and respectful of each other and the shared spaces is essential. A strong social and environmental conscience, along with the willingness for the occasional chat are definitely pluses.
Hi, I’m Ellie. I’m 21 and am studying nutrition at Monash. I’m a clean and respectful housemate, I love to cook and always up for a chat, drink or movie night. Looking for a fun place to move into that will feel like a real home!
