Hello Everyone, So a little about us; We're both tidy, we like our privacy and respect others privacy as well, and we also love a good chat with the housemates we do live with, we like to garden and grow our own food, Gavin likes to do things around the house which makes him a good handy man anywhere, we're both easy to get along with. I volunteer with animals at the RSPCA in Burwood East, and soon to be volunteering once a week with the Salvation Army in helping the homeless through night watch. We're both a bit quirky and love creating things, I paint and draw, and gavin creates things out of anything he gets his hands on. gavin is studying horticulture and works in gardening on his extra days. We do eat more towards a vegan diet, (we don't mind if you don't). We are looking for a nice homey feel, a place we can look forward to coming home to from work that has some cool housemates, a clean house and a loving supportive environment. We would love to have people that are like minded in some ways living with us and looking toward the future with a positive outlook. A house with a good front or backyard (grassy) for Gavins gardening and a big bedroom is what we seek.
I am reliable, easy going and very tidy. Happy keeping to myself but do enjoy having a couple of drinks, sharing meals and having a good chin wag with my fellow housemates. Looking for a room for myself and my beautiful fluffy cat, Doagy. I am a vet nursing student so rest assured, I clean up after my cat and she won't be any bother. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, cooking and going out to see live music. Not too fussy on location, would like to be based towards the city if possible. As long as I can drive to my jobs/school (located in Ringwood, Fairfield and Bayswater) within an hour then I'm happy. Wanting to move in about a months time (start of August). If you would like to know more about me or if you potentially have somewhere for me to live, please send me a message.
I am a friendly, easy going, positive, clean, tidy and respectful housemate and tenant. I am happy to have a chat over a meal or tv show or to respect your personal space and privacy if you like to keep to yourself. I am a vegetarian, animal lover and LGBTQI+ ally. I keep busy most of the week with study, work and exploring all Melbourne has to offer. My hobbies include playing and listening to music, going to music concerts, watching tennis, reading, cooking, travel, watching film, going to art galleries and museums, going out, hanging out with friends, exercising/team sports, crafts and trying new things. I have spent the past 4 or so years renting with others so I have lots of experience. I would like not only a house but a home and if living with others would like to form friendships. :) Please get in touch if you think you have the place for me! Cheers.
Hi, I am a master student from Indonesia, I'm looking for friends to stay together in a shared house/apt. I am very open minded and able to accept any difference in cultures and religions or believes. My hobbies are martial arts, online games (mmorpg), japanese culture, modern tech, and some other common activities. I'm not really into party and stuff, but I'm not againts it either :)
Hi! I'm Ting. Will be starting my postgrad course in data science at Monash in July. I love sports, burgers, coffee, and spending quality time with friends and family. I do crossfit, weightlifting, and surfing on a regular basis. Basketball, skateboarding, biking, and hiking are also my interests. I'm pretty chill and easygoing. I like to make friends, hang out, have fun but I'm not here to party. I want to focus on my study and build a career as a business/data analyst in sports-related fields. I like to plan ahead but still have some flexibility. I believe that being honest and be willing to communicate are important in having a great flat sharing experience. It'll be cool if we can be friends or workout partners but if not it's no problem, too. I've traveled to over 10 countries and done a 29-day train trip around the United States. What I learned the most from my trips is that a lot of time there's no right or wrong, it's just different. It's alright if we don't share the same values or views. I'd respect your opinions and appreciate that you help me to see things from a different perspective. Since I love sports, I'll be bring some workout gears and possibly get a surfboard or bike after I settle in. I'll keep my things neat and out of your way. I'll definitely respect our shared space and clean up after myself. Also, I'll respect your privacy and your personal life. Meanwhile, I expect the same from you. Feel free to talk to me or ask questions if you are interested in being flatmates. Or if you want to meet up, I'll be in Melbourne after July 10th. Thank you :)
Hi, I'll be shifting to Melbourne next month for my masters from Monash. I am an easy going, flexible, well mannered and a chilled out individual. A big movie buff and a foodie as well, and most importantly, I am a tidy person so you need not worry about a messy room. Let me know if you are interested.
I am an easy going, flexible, well mannered, chilled and chatty individual. I have lived in a house sharing situation for about 10 years now so know all about respecting boundaries, general cleaning and tidying routines, helping out with whatever it is and limitations around social gatherings. I have never had any issues in the past and happy to provide references, should it be required. I am a full time civil engineer working in the city so ideally looking for something within 30 minutes walk/ public transport to the city. I have a car, which will probably only be driven during the weekend. Hence I will need some form of parking, flexible with whatever it is. Besides work, I am currently studying a masters part-time and looking on getting back to playing tennis, cricket and soccer. I enjoy my food and generally cook once or twice a week. I don't have any furniture or kitchen utensils so would ideally be looking for a reasonably sized room that is furnished (double bed, desk, wardrobe) and an equipped kitchen. However, if I find the place and occupants to be ideal, I am happy to buy some furniture. Let me know if you are interested, and I am sure I will have more to share. Thanks.
Hi, I am Zac, a 29 years old Taiwanese graduate student at Monash University. I am an easy-going person, liking to talk with other and try new things that I never know before. I also like Motorcycle, travel, technology gadget, bodybuilding, and coffee--fresh ground coffee. If I can be your roommate, you will have the chance to taste a good cup of coffee! Wish I could have the chance to find a good roommate in this platform !
I am Ana ( from Mexico), I am studying the first semester of the master of International Development in Monash University and working part-time. Paul (half German/ half Swedish) studied International Bussiness and he is on a work holiday visa. We are an easy going couple, relax, clean and respectful. We both are friendly, we enjoy cooking and chilling when we have free time. We also like to have a beer on weekends but prefer to keep our home easy.
Hey, I am a Chinese student who is going to study in Monash University for master degree this summer and I am looking forward to finding a nice room to keep myself comfortable and quiet after the tough study everyday. I would like to have a regular living timetable which means that I will not disturb other roomates and I am willing to keep my living environment clean and tidy. I am a kind person and like making friends around me or share some interesting things with my friends in my spare time~I love singing, playing basketball and reading very much.Hope we can build a harmonious living atmosphere and live a colorful life together!
Hi! I'm a 25 year old Norwegian who is moving to Melbourne to study for my masters degree in Development Practice at Monash University - Clayton Campus. I'm easygoing, friendly and tidy. Looking for a room in a share house with a good and sociable atmosphere :) I eat mostly vegetarian, but I'm not overly fussy about it, so no worries. I love travel, photography, movies and books, as well as going out once in a while. I'm also an animal lover, especially dogs, so that would not be a problem at all. I'll be arriving in Melbourne the 2nd of July, and I'm mainly looking for a furnished place.
We are a British couple on a working holiday in Melbourne, looking for a furnished room in a flat share from mid-July until December. Luke's a tennis coach and Lucy works in administration. We are active people, we enjoying cycling, walking and running and trying new activities. We also love cooking and eating out!
Hello! I'm Ishaan. I'm going to start studying a post grad course in Data Science in the Monash Caulfield campus in July. I'm neat, clean, respectful and I will never pay late. I will help around the house since it's only fair. I'm very open to meeting new people and can adapt to a new environment very well. I keep to myself when I have to, for example while I'm studying, otherwise I love hanging out with anyone and everyone as long they do too. I'm always up for an outing during the weekend! I have a bike of my own and I use my GoPro cam when I'm biking quite often :D. I'm a very active person who loves long distance cycling, mountain biking, hiking, mountain climbing and if I'm not doing either of those, I'm at the gym. I love music and cannot live without it. Yes, I must dedicate a separate paragraph just to say that :P. I'll be in Melbourne on June 26th and will get a sim card as soon as possible. Till then please don't hesitate to contact me on my current number :). Looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks!
Hi! My name is Alfred and I'm from Stockholm, Sweden. I'll be studying engineering as an exchange student at Monash University (Clayton Campus) this fall. I'm a social guy looking forward to meet new people, and I'm really excited to explore Melbourne and it's surroundings. A few of my biggest interests are sailing, wildlife and working out, but I love to go and take a few beers sometimes as well. I'm a responsible guy, keen of doing my share of all of the everyday chores and responsibilities that comes with a place to stay.
Hi, I'm Aidz (short for Adrian), 30 y/o, from the Philippines! I'll be taking Masters in Design full-time at Monash (Caulfield) this coming July and I'll be arriving in Melbourne on June 26. I have a temporary Airbnb accommodation booked and I'm hoping to find a more permanent place hopefully within 1-2 weeks of my stay there. My max budget is $200 for rent + bills + internet, but of course, being a student, a lower rate (but still quite near the campus) is preferred. I'm a photographer and a graphic designer so that makes me an artistic person, I'm very much into music as well, I play the guitar (but I'm not bringing one, unfortunately) and can sing decently, I like searching and listening to new indie artists/bands, but the majority on my playlist are very old school. I also love playing video games, NBA 2K, FIFA, Tekken anyone?? I'm a bit of a geek and I quite know my way around techy stuff. I also love to cook so I can make some meals whenever I have time. I'm usually content being a homebody, but I sure love to go outside once in a while! So, show me around when I get there? Since it's my first time to live alone and in a different country, I'm not just looking for roommates but also (hopefully) lifelong friends that I can treat and also treat me as "family". My mom is an OC when it comes to cleanliness, hygiene and keeping things in their proper place, so somehow I picked that up from her, but don't worry, I'm not very imposing like her haha! I highly value my privacy and takes care very well of my possessions, so you can expect me to do the same for you. I drink, but not too much (those days are over haha!) I'm fun to be around and can get loud and crazy at times, but I intend to do very well on my studies so I can assure you that I'll be quiet most of the time. Anyway, if you think we get along very well, I'd really appreciate hearing from you!
I'm a full-time 22 year old professional looking for a decent room to stay in for around 6 months before I move out with my girlfriend. I'm very easy going, usually out of the house, either working my Monday-Friday full-time professional job or hanging out with friends and family or at the gym during the evenings. I'm quiet and will keep to myself, and potentially only be staying half the nights of a week, as I often live at my families house, but can't every single night, hence trying to find a place for a few nights a week! If you are looking for a quiet, friendly professional to share your house a few nights a week, then I'm the one for you! I would love an ensuite bathroom and a just a spot to cook meals. Very quiet and reserved, not a party-goer or loud and obnoxious, very clean and tidy. If you have a clean, spacious room (with an ensuite bathroom) then I'd love to keep you company for 6 months :)
Hi I'm moving down to Melbourne from Brisbane mid July. Though why I picked the coldest time of the year, who knows. Me: I've been sharing for most of my life, am an actor/ex biologist, like to cook, rockclimb, try to not kill the plants, dance, spend time outdoors, watch movies and theatre, sew, yoga......stuff. Will have a job, so don't worry. I come with mostly just bedroom furniture. I have a 10year old house trained tibetan spaniel x border collie, Toby. Who wont eat your shoes or lunch, and is fully house trained. It would be great to find some chilled, friendly, people who like to share a meal and a drink occasionally, and are maybe artistic to live with (obviously clean, tidy, respectful etc, but that goes without saying so...And that goes for me too). Love to hear from you. Cheers Donna
Hey There, I'm living in Melbourne for 5 months now and am currently working full-time so I'm barely at home to be honest. I need a place to stay at and roommates that are fun to be around, easy going and clean. I have a bit of an OCD myself so the house won't be a mess and I'm always considerate when it comes to living with flatmates. If you're the same, I'll be more than happy to share a flat :) Cheers, Sam
Hey! I am a friendly and fun loving person from India who is planning to join Monash University (Caulfield) in July 2017. I am looking for a place to stay near Caulfield. I am non-smoker, sociable, kind and not fond of pets. As I have shared flats with other students during my bachelors degree back in India, I know how to give everyone their own personal space and how to contribute or help in housework, cooking etc. Some of my favourite pastimes can be watching and playing sports especially cricket, watching movies, exploring new places and I read seldomly if I come across something interesting. Looking forward to share a flat with like minded and friendly people.
I'm a kind, considerate, fun loving and friendly person. I'm looking for people interested in making a share house that feels like a family. I don't mean doing everything together, but it would be cool to cook together sometimes, watch tv shows/movies together, and maybe even start a band!!
My name is Lisa and I am currently looking for an all female flat as I wish to move from the Gold Coast to Melbourne in November/December this year. I am a very responsible, well mannered, respectful and clean individual and punctual with bills and rent. I am not a party person and plan to study fulltime at uni as well as work. I love animals and meeting new people who I can be social with. I am a bubbly, hard working person and would love to flat with people who are like minded!! *I have been renting and living out of home for over a year and have references
23 year old Monash Law student from Perth. Looking for accommodation with anyone who is friendly and has clean habits!
