Hi, Looking for a place between Macquarie Park and the city that is easily accessible by public transport and close to shops/cafes. I work in IT, I'm easy going, and respectful of space. I'm clean and tidy but also understands that it is a home. I'm up for a laugh and chat and most would say that i have a good sense of humor; (I'm also a little nerdy in my own way). I'm usually out on Fridays and Saturdays. I try to stay fit and eat well but I also like going to cafes, going out, and socializing. I like travel/adventure and try to squeeze in some of my hobbies (including hiking, meditating, photography/drawing) for some balance. I try to do something active after work though, though I usually just unwind at home. I'm pet friendly (i like dogs, and I've lived with cats before); I enjoy taking dogs for walks or just chilling with a cat. Looking for a place to share with people who are relaxed have similar lifestyles.
I am an easy-going and friendly full time student studying at UTS. I usually don't stay at home much and even if I do, you won't really notice it as I a don't make too much noise. I like living in a clean environment. I would prefer to live with students but I am not too fussed about it. I would like to make lasting friendships and not just another place to stay.
I'm 22, Canadian, moving to Sydney in early 2017 for school. Since I don't know anyone in Australia I'm looking to find flatmates that will also be friends. I love being outside, and hope to find people to go to the beach, hike & explore with! I enjoy living in a social environment and love a good gathering as much as the next gal, as long as it's quiet when necessary (unfortunately exams are a thing)! I am clean and respectful of the space and the people I live with (though I must admit my bedroom occasionally looks like a tornado passed through it). Let me know if I sound like your kind of person and get in touch if you have any questions :)
We are a group of young professionals, all from New Zealand and recently moved over to Sydney and currently looking to move into a place together in a nice central location close to the great vibes and hustle of Sydney city.
Hi, mi name is Norma post-student in my late twenties. My routine is usually weedays at Uni but during evening always up for a chat to relax and get ready for the next day. I like to spend my weekends away from the weekly routine, random nothing crazy. I have been living in Syd since Feb and I have been in different shared places I am absolutely aware of the meaning "clean up after yourself ". I am looking for "The right place" somewhere I can call Home with fun ppl ready to be friends, who are up for a beer from time to time. I am also a respectful when privacy is needed. I am available to move late November - early December and willing to commit for long term. Let me know if you are interested!
Easy going, hard working, non smoker, pizza/wine lover, tidy, great listener, healthy, fun, instagrammer and Swedish. I'm looking for a room in a nice/clean/ flat/apartment. Let me know if we're a fit! :) xx
Hi, I work full time in a bank in Sydney CBD (standard 9-5 hours mostly!) and I'm looking for a long term rental closer to work. I'm currently from the Macarthur area so my commute is quite long. I'm a friendly, quiet person who likes my home to be a relaxed place. I don't smoke and most of my socializing will be outside the house. I love music and a couple of nights a month I'll go to a gig after work. When I am at home, I can be found reading, watching a movie/tv series or surfing the internet for new music. I do like to cook although my knowledge is basic (pasta is amazing) and I could definitely benefit from being designated cook a couple of nights a week. On weekends I like to get out and explore. I will also travel to visit family and friends. If you have any questions please ask!
Im well educated, friendly, organized, respectful and I can be social but really enjoy my alone time too. I adapt well to situations and context. Have lived in 7 different country in several flatshares. Love animals and healt hand fitness.
23 year old from QLD moving to Sydney for grad school. I am looking for some fun, friendly people to move in with. I value cleanliness and I can cook - I would really like to find people who are sociable and enjoy chatting / activities with flatmates balanced with doing your own thing. Hobbies include travelling, learning languages, cooking, outdoor activities and exploring new places. Bonus points if you have pets I can cuddle, but it's not a deal breaker! I have lived out of home (including overseas) since I finished school so I am definitely house-share trained, and I can provide four years of proof of paying rent reliably. Ideally I am looking for a place where I can have my own space/privacy but also flatmates who I can chat to and become friends with too (moving away from all my friends and family). I can sign on to a lease any time from late November but I probably wouldn't physically move until after Christmas. Just message me if you have any questions :)
I am an active mature age professional, with a 6 month contract in Sydney. I enjoy exploring the lcoal haunts but also travel often on weekends. I often share house due to the contracting nature of my work and have made some fantastic friendships through this. I leave a small footprint as I am tidy and clean
Hey! Shared house are not about cheaper rent but about sharing moments to me :) I like my independence but I also love flatmates evenings. I'm easy to live and good at housekeeping (yes, I was a backpacker!). I'd love to meet you and have a drink :)
Hi, We have recently moved to Sydney from London. We love socializing and traveling. We are looking to move into a furnished house/apt where we have our own private bathroom. We respect people's space and privacy and would like to meet like minded people. We like to keep our surroundings clean and tidy. We love to unwind with a glass of wine and are Netflix fans :) Please drop me an email if you would like to accommodate us. Thanks, Swaroop
Hi there! I'm moving from Brisbane to Sydney to start a new job. I work in Arts Adminstration and am looking for a place to call home. I am friendly, outgoing, clean, reliable and easy to get along with.
I'm from Denmark, in Europe. I just finished an exchange semester at UTS in July. I'm now back in Sydney, to do an internship as part of my degree (film & photography) back in Europe. I'm gonna be interning at a advertising/production company in Surry Hills for 4 months. I'm super easy going, laidback, and very down to earth, always up for a laugh and good times! :D Live for traveling, love going to live music gigs, football, shopping and the beach :D I have about a million interests, and i'm very open minded all around :) *******need my own furnished room (with at least a bed and a wardrobe) and lease for 4-5 months*******
We are a young brazilian couple going to Australia to study, work and have some fun. We will arrive in Australia on 10th December. First we are looking for a place to stay for a month and then if we like the place we can stay the other 5 months of our period in Australia. We are not hard party people but we like to make new friends and take some beer sometimes, we love travel and go to the beach. We are a clean and organize couple, very friendly and easy going too.
Hey there, we are looking for a new flat to stay asap. We are 2 german(couple), frensh and belgium guys. We are all easy-going, tidy and you can also have a talk with us at evening. We are all working full-time 5-6 days a week. Please call or text me. Cheers. Regards, Florian
I'm a bubbly, considerate 26 year old looking for a room within 20 mins of the city. I work fairly long hours in the consulting industry and spend my free nights and weekends out and about, so won't be around the house very much, however I would love housemates I can share a nightly chat and occasional glass of wine with nonetheless! I love travelling, dancing, running, adventuring - and eating my way through Sydney!
I'm 25 and work full-time as an office manager for a tech company in the CBD. I have a pretty busy schedule during the week, but I would like to be part of a 'home' rather than just a house, and enjoy catchups over wine/shared dinners here and there. I love sharing new music, discovering new bars, and long, lazy days at the beach. I consider myself pretty easy-going, but very respectful of shared spaces (and hope you are too). Also fortunate enough to have supplementary income coming in from a rental property, so you can count on me to pay rent on time. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi there, my Name is Bronte (I'm the chicka on the right) and I'm currently studying Media and Communcations at USYD full time. I'm currently on the hunt for a private room to rent long-term, as I've still got at least two years of study left! I've been sharehousing for 2 years now so I know what it's about and how to be courteous of peoples' space. I'm clean and tidy, respectful, sociable, super easy to live with! I love cooking so happy to bring meals to the table. When I'm not studying, I enjoy hanging out and having the occasional glass of wine. I can crack the occasional joke and have a stable source of money for rent so I would say I'm good value :)
Friendly, outgoing person from Estonia. Keep everything clean and tidy. I am a total foodie, enjoy cooking and baking quite often, lucky future flatmates..:) On my spare time I love to meet new people, go out for a drink. I love sports, dancing, hiking and a lot more. Traveling here with WHV, but I am planning to stay in Sydney for a longer period of time. Have had such an adventurous half a year in Australia so far. First 2 months in Sydney and last 4 months doing my farm work in the outback. Hopefully more fun times are only ahead! Currently working in Macquarie University in the Vice-Chancellor’s office. Looking for a home (private room only) from the 25th of October, maximum budget is 330AUD, bills included. Preferably in Bondi, but anything near Bondi is also nice, additionally consider Waterloo area, Double Bay and surroundings, North Sydney. I also have a car, which is why parking space is highly regarded either on the street or off-street parking. If it sounds like you would have anything to offer which matches to my profile, please do not hesitate to contact! I look forward to hearing from you!! Thanks! :)
Hi! My name is Claire and I'm a professional working in consulting. Originally from Brisbane, I've been in Sydney for almost 2 years and have been loving every minute of it. I am sociable, enjoy exercise and am currently playing in a touch team. As a flatmate I would be quite busy during the week but keen to hang or get out and about on weekends. I am largely self-sufficient, clean and tidy and quite capable of looking after myself and belongings. In my spare time I also enjoy unwinding to the TV, reading a good book or finding/making a great dessert. I’m looking for a place to call home. I have a 6 seater table, 3 seater couch (good quality) and arm chair that I could bring to new accommodation (though am also able to sell prior to moving). I intend to stay in my next place for a long period.
Hi there, I'm Vash. I have recently moved to Sydney from Melbourne as part of work. I have lived in Melbourne since I was born but have come here just this week. I'm very clean and I do not smoke. I'm also pretty quiet during the week, and very respectful of your privacy. But I am also more than happy to catch up for a drink or two on the weekend! Cheers!
So I'm making the move from Christchurch, New Zealand to Sydney for a job opportunity with the bank I work with. I'll be working full time in the city Mon-Fri. Likely to work late a few nights a week I'm really easy going and like to socialise in my free time. I try to stay fit when I'm motivated enough to get it done otherwise I'll just chill out on Netflix or play video games. Not looking for a place that's smashing out a slab a night and blasting tunes till 3 am, but don't want to end up somewhere with flatmates that lock themselves in their room the second they come home either. Girlfriend lives in Sydney too, so will be bouncing between each others places a bit. Other than her though I'll be looking to meet new people and make new friends as much as possible so finding the right place with a good mix of people is really important to me. I'm tidy, polite and have a good sense of humour, so if I sound like your type please get in touch ---Not looking for more than an hour commute into work each day -- Moving to Sydney around 22/11/16
Hello my name is Kiran. I am looking for places close to Sydney Uni. I am moving to sydney coming year to pursue my studies at Uni. So I would be reasonably occupied during the day. I'm a Norwegian girl studying English at an international language school. I'm an organized person and I like to keep things/places clean. I used to live in America, so my English is pretty good, so there wont be a problem with the communication. I love traveling and meeting new people, and I'm loving Sydney so far. On the weekends I enjoy going out to the clubs, but I also like to just relax and watch a good movie and eat shit food:)) Can't wait to find a flat mate!
I'm very clean and tidy, slightly ocd I'll always clean up after myself and sometimes others. I'm always a good laugh, I work night shifts at the airport as an electrician so I probably won't be around much in the evenings.
We are 3 extremely friendly backpackers who have all just got full-time jobs in Sydney so our next step is to find somewhere to live permanently! We are 2 girls and 1 guy from the UK who are very outgoing, friendly, clean and tidy. We are looking to move into a flatshare immediately. Please contact us!!
We are two german girls, who are friendly, lively and will stay in Sydney at least until January 2017. We are looking for a flat room to live in while our stay.
I'm from Toronto Canada, moving to Australia to experience a different way of life (and to escape from the Canadian winter). I work in film and media, currently working remotely for a entrepreneurial company doing their media needs. I'm currently cutting together a feature film and doing some ad work with it as well. I'm a great combination of energetic and easy going. You'll often find me hanging out in the common area, always open to watching a movie, playing board games, grabbing a drink, or going out on the town. I'm sarcastic in the best way possible, and I have learned many bad jokes over the years from my dad to keep you entertained. I love to cook, so you can expect me to offer to make a second helping for you every now and then. You can also expect me to put my dishes away after I make a mess of the kitchen. I'm not one to leave passive aggressive notes around the house if the garbage needs to be taken out, or the toilet cleaned because it's 'your turn'. If it needs it to be done, I'll usually just do it.
Hi guys. My amazing 3.5 month trip through South America has come to an end and now it's time to find a humble abode to call home. I land back in Sydney on the 27th October and I have awesome friends that have offered to put me up until I find a place. I'm a super chilled 32 year old guy, I work in sales for a small group adventure travel company, I travel interstate a couple of times a month for work and I will probably start to pick up a few shifts at a bottle shop to help pay off some of my credit card debt. Between all of this, I have a girlfriend that lives on the northshore, I gym, l enjoy going out for meals with friends and I love to hit the beach or go on bush walks over the weekends. When I'm home, I love to chill out with a glass of wine, a few beers, a doobie and chew the fat with my fellow flatmates. I have a car so on street parking at the least is a must. If there is no parking or if I have to drive around the neighbourhood for half an hour to find parking, your place isn't for me. My girlfriend may stay on occasions but I'm respectful to my housemates and understand she is not contributing to the household rent. Maybe she may stay one or two nights max but she is cool and also loves wine. I've been flat sharing for over 10 years now. A good flat mate in my opinion is someone chilled, clean, respectful, reliable and happy to clean after themselves. Ideally you would not be highly strung, happy to share a bottle of wine on a weekend and if you're into cricket, perfect. Some of my best friends currently have been ex flatmates. Thanks guys!!! #### PLEASE NOTE I AM CURRENTLY OVERSEAS UNTIL THURSDAY NIGHT 27th OCT AND I CURRENTLY DONT HAVE A MOBILE NUMBER ####
