Hey Folks, I just moved here from the homeland Ireland (Originally from New York City). Recent Finance graduate from studying around Europe. Mad into traveling and exploring new places. Pretty easygoing person, up for a laugh and meeting new people. Game for an adventure on the weekends or something more chill too. I'm clean, respectful and always happy to have a chat. Looking for a private room in a Shared House/Apartment.
We are a Mexican/German couple who like to exercise regularly and go out every now and then to have a good time. We like cooking and watching movies on a Sunday night. Usually busy during weekdays.
I'm 42 but most people think I'm in my late 20's. I get along best with people 25-40 and really don't fit the typical image of a 40+ person. I've been living in my current place - a hostel - for months. Go figure haha. I just got a job in Chippendale as a Software Engineer and am looking to move out of the hostel asap. 🙂 I am German but have PR here (looking to apply for citizenship soon), and I have heaps of experience in living in share houses! I'm really sociable and never really keep my door closed but I do know when to give people space and how to respect their privacy. Basically, I'm looking for a new home and new friends to live with. There are a lot of people who just want to share the cost but have no interest in the people they live with, but I want a place that will be a home with people who show interest in doing stuff together. And I'm looking for a place where the rent is shared fairly and where people enjoy staying with others and being friends with their flatmates. I play a bit of guitar and work on my app ideas in my free time and am otherwise quite busy at my job at the moment (just started 3 weeks ago). Apart from that I love the beach and hanging out with friends, cooking the odd meal with my future flatmates, and all that stuff. I also (used to) scuba dive and would love to learn surfing and play soccer and foosball again. If that all sounds cool, maybe let me know if you want to meet me in person? Cheers, Andreas
Hi, there My name is Tats who is looking for a room near CBD. I am tidy, friendly and organized 31 years old Japanese. I work full-time as a Business Development Manager at an investment company. I am hoping to live with an easy-going and mature person. I used to work as a photographer, so I can take professional photos if you want. I look forward to hearing from you.
I'm sociable, agreeable and optimistic :) I really enjoy getting to know people and am always up for a chat, but I'm independent and very respectful of the need for personal space. I love catching up with housemates over a glass of wine, some tea in the kitchen, a dance or a good old fashioned dinner party at home when the stars align. In terms of a bit about me, I'm 28 and I'm doing my PhD in public health at Sydney Uni. In my down time I'm usually drinking coffee or wine, running, eating overpriced avocado toast like a typical millennial, out dancing (what I lack in coordination I make up for in enthusiasm), or hanging out in a park somewhere soaking up the Sydney sun.
I'm an easy-going and friendly 24 year old recent graduate from England. I spent 5 months in Sydney (living in Newtown) in 2017 as part of my degree, and I'm now back in Sydney, working in the CBD, and looking for a single private room in a shared house. I intend on remaining based in Sydney for at least 4 months, if not longer. I'm friendly, reliable, considerate and tidy! I enjoy casual/chilled evenings with friends, running, and reading! Please feel free to ask anything about me :)
Hi! Thanks for checking out my page. My name is Nicole and I'm a Science student at University of Sydney. And, I hope to look for a place to stay from Mid/End November 2018 till Mid/End January 2019. As a person, I'm really cheerful and easy-going, thus, I get along well with others. I'm also rather organized so I tend to enjoy my frequent "clean-up"s. As outgoing as I am, I also enjoy the privacy of my own room. If you're interested, please do drop me a message.
Very laid back, considerate and generally pretty quiet guy. Those are all ideal tenant/roommate things right? During the work week I will like to lay low BUT I will try not to be a hermit MON-THURS if yours is a social house. Some wine and conversation will never go astray. Definitely up for fun on the weekends, going out, movie-nights, drinks etc but like I said I tend to like my space too..
Hi I'm Alex, I am 23 from the UK. I am looking for a place for me and my friend (shared room). We are on a working holiday visa are both very sociable, fun, outgoing. Love watching the football, going to the gym and socialising with friends!
I am from the United States and love everything that has to do with traveling. My whole life I have dreamed of moving to Australia and I am finally making that a reality. I studied abroad at University of Sydney in Fall 2017 so I am already pretty well acquainted with the city and can not wait to get back. Currently, I will be heading to Sydney on a Work-Holiday visa but will be pursuing a sponsorship as soon as an opportunity arises. I am a very active individual but I still enjoy having fun so I am always down to explore new areas and meet new people. I will be looking to move in around early/mid January and would like to find a flat that is close to public transit, furnished, and under $325 pw. My ideal flatmate would be a hardworking individual who enjoys personal space but would also like to hangout and have a friendly atmosphere in the home. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org for any questions.
Writing ‘a bit about you’ is always super weird, but here goes: Recently graduated from a degree in Psychology and International Media and working full time in digital media/marketing (agency side). When I’m not working you’ll find me either listening to music, cafe hopping with friends or adventuring. Laidback, clean and respectful.
Hi, I'm David. I'm 25 years old and currently working full time at an architecture firm in Surry Hills, and have been living in Newtown for most of this year. I usually finish work between 6pm and 7pm. I'm passionate about design, and I enjoy sketching in my free time and especially when travelling. On weekends I like going out for breakfast, getting outside for a run or yoga, playing basketball and socialising. I'm also a pretty big movie nerd and like to distract myself with a good book. I really enjoy getting to know new people, and I'm always open to new ideas and interests. Not a vegetarian but I respect others who are (:
I’m 29, currently living in Western Sydney and looking to move closer to work. I’m a lawyer by background and currently work in government for a charity based in Chippendale. I’m generally pretty busy after work and on weekends, but am super social, and would love to share a chat, drink and a meal, whilst also knowing when to give a bit of privacy.
I am a Masters by Coursework student at the University of Sydney and have lived in Ultimo for the past year, six months in a student accommodation and the rest in a homestay with an Australian family with 4 other flatmates from a multicultural background. It's safe to say that this experience has taught me so much about living in an organised manner and splitting household duties as well. I am social and at the same time very respectful of your privacy. I love baking and cooking, so our weekend brunches will be experimental. I love socializing and exploring a city even though weekdays will be cramped with Uni work. I am looking for only female roommates/flatmates and since I am a student, my budget is limited. I would love for you to contact me if this sounds like what you want from your future roommate! P.S- I am only looking for a short-term accommodation
(Please don't message with only 1 available room - thanks!) Looking for 2 bedrooms in a flat or shared house (but without sharing rooms). Max budget is around $250 pw each, We're British students, on an exchange year at the Uni of Sydney. We're both friendly girls and keep our rooms clean, got part time jobs here but also like going out at the weekends. Looking for somewhere cheaper than the student accommodation we're in at the moment
I'm from Argentina, and I'm starting my working holiday year in Sydney, looking for a long term room since I would like to stay in town as much as possible. Back in March I fell inlove with the city and I decided to come back to enjoy it a little bit more and get to see what this beautiful country has to offer. I'm hard worker and love to make new friends, hang out, FOOD (:P), movies and travel when ever I have the opportunity to do so. I keep my place clean and appreciate company, but I also respect people's me-time as I sometimes need that as well.
Hi, I'm a ballet and contemporary dancer currently living in Moscow, Russia, but will be moving at the end of December to Sydney for a new job. Grew up in Alice Springs, Australia. I previously studied and worked in Germany and Russia for 6 years. I like going out for social events or dinners/drinks with friends, but I also like relaxing at home after a long day of work. Looking for a place with easy travel to Ultimo/Central station and now and then Circular Quay/Wynyard due to work. I hope to hear from you soon! :)
