I'm a very relaxed person when it comes to life and as such I am always open to new experiences and meeting new people both of which I hope to have with my future flat mates. For fun I play any sort of sport I can get my hands on or just hang out with friends and joke around with them. I am currently studying a bachelor of Information Technology at Monash University in Clayton and am looking for a part time job as we speak.
Hey, I'm Sven from Bavaria, Germany, and I’ve been offered the opportunity to work on a research project at Monash University School of Chemistry, Campus Clayton. My stay will be from May 1st to September 4th. I would describe myself as an open-minded, enthusiastic, joyful and active student. When I’m not at university, I spend my free time on working in associations, supporting refugees in German cultural integration or organizing events for Christian Union at university. Moreover, I like to do sports particularly with friends, e.g. table tennis, swimming, squash or hiking. It would be fantastic to share a flat with some locals since I love to learn more about Australian culture and having a good time during cooking, sports or discussions. I could also provide you with some German-Bavarian Culture and dishes ;). A personal highlight and aim of my stay is to get involved in Aussie Rules culture, so If you could teach me rules or even go out and train together, it would be awesome :) . Concerning some organizational details, I’ve considered living in a reachable periphery to the School of Chemistry and paying around ~190 AUD/week (negotiable). I’m looking forward to hearing from you and I could also provide more information or we arrange an interview on skype, if you like. Best regards and greetings from Germany Sven
I pride myself on being straight-forward, genuine and easy to work with. You won't have a headache with me because I care about people and want the best for everyone! I also love spontaneity and am very outgoing! I have a good sense of humour. I have a pretty active outside life, filled with sports, socialising and leadership/volunteering commitments.
Hey guys! We're a young couple looking to move out of our current accomodation to somewhere a little closer to our respective schools, and where we can bring our furkid-family members with us! Gemma is a 19 year old psychology student at Monash University in her second year, and works part time as a sales assistance and puppy school instructor in the pet industry! (Which means her amazing pet product bargains are yours too! 😉) Brad is a student at Holmesglen TAFE studying his first year of Networking, is a whiz at all things technical, and would be happy to deal with any totally annoying technical failures with WiFi or your computer if a housemate ever needed a hand! Together we're hoping to bring our two furry friends - Gemma's greyhound, Bellatrix, who I assure you will have you weak in the knees within seconds, and Brad's indoor cat, Mia, who is a little princess. 🐱 (Gemma is also hoping to apply all her certified dog training skills into bringing a new puppy into the mix sometime in the near future.) We are not too picky on our new home other than friendly, fun, and carefree housemates who are happy to have a quiet night in (maybe watching horror movies, if they're up to it!) but also respect each others privacy and keep a comfortable home environment. A backyard is also pretty essential and whilst it doesn't have to be huge, you might get a bit tangled in Bellatrix's zoomies if it's small! 😸 *Our moving timeframe is from late March/early April. ☺️ *We'd also be interested in teaming up with someone who had already found/had a house and was just looking for roommates to split the rent and the fun with them! If you feel like you might have something that suits, please get into contact with us! We can't wait to hear from our new housemates. ☺️

Hi! My names Terri, I'm 19 and a full time student. (Philosophy major) I'm also a freelance artist and designer. I'm clean, respectable, very breezy and easy going. I'm happy to have a chat or a few drink with anyone or just wind down after work. (Also 420 friendly) I also have a dog; his name is Dobby and he's a Jack Russell. He's a bundle of fun and raised to be a very well mannered! Besides his taste for my socks and habit of napping where people want to sit. He's other pet friendly, has lived with other dogs and cats and has no history of biting. I'm also a light smoker (only at night) but am more than happy to smoke outside.
Hi everyone .My name Vlad. I'm 40 Ukrainian . A professional construction worker. Working full time and more. Quiet, accurate, decent. I love ride my Kawa Z750. Cook something delicious and drink some wine with a good company.
Hello, my name's Josh! I've been couch surfing in Melbourne for a month after moving interstate from NSW and would really like to settle down and find a permanent home. I'm a first year science student studying full time at Monash Uni. I'm a friendly, easygoing, sociable guy but am also respectful of others' privacy and while I'm up for a chat I also enjoy some downtime like anyone else. I realise the responsibilities involved in living with others and am a very clean, tidy and reliable person, contributing my fair share to ensuring the place is in good condition and rent is paid on time. Lover of all animals and would be totally down to live with pets of any kind. Am open to living with any and all kinds of people but would prefer to live with other students or people around my age. As I'll have uni nearly everyday it's quite important that public transport is nearby, and it would be especially amazing if I could find a place close to the Clayton campus. Also open to start/join a group of others looking for housing - send me a message if you'd like to know more about me or if you have a room available and thanks!
I'm super clean and friendly and love meeting new people :) I am flexible with my length of stay! Will potentially be longer than 9 months if I love living there :) I'm a current student at Monash and also have a casual waitressing job so work some nights during the week.
Hi! I'm a 24 year old Norwegian who is moving to Melbourne to study for my masters degree in Development Practice at Monash University. I'm easygoing, friendly and tidy. Looking for a room in a share house with a good and sociable atmosphere :) I eat mostly vegetarian, but I'm not overly fussy about it, so no worries. I love travel, photography, movies and books, as well as going out once in a while. I'm also an animal lover, especially dogs, so that would not be a problem at all.
I'm currently studying my 1st year of bachelor of IT and Science double degree at Monash Clayton, and my parents want me to move out of home. Really desperate to finally to step out on my own two feet.
I'm Vaany (V) from Singapore. Looking for a lovely place to stay as I commence my Masters in uni. I'm easy to live with as I am matured, understanding and respectable to the environment I live in and to the people I live with. Nursing school is pretty overwhelming by itself. As such, most of the time, I will be in my room, with my books - 'Cool nerd alert'. I love to bake as a form of stress relieve only when I have the time. I also enjoy date/game nights with my housemates (if mutual), at home with food and laughter - to build cohesion.
Blake and I are from the United States. I received a fellowship to work in a research lab at Monash for the year and Blake is applying for a work holiday visa. We're friendly, quiet, love to travel and are super outdoorsy. Would love to be friends, or are fine on our own. Would love 2 bedrooms in the same house with a bathroom, or 1 bedroom that fits a queen sized bed and is fully furnished. Our budget is $300 total, or $150 per room. Would strongly prefer to live with other non-smokers.
I work full time so I'm not home most days until the evening. Success driven. Enjoy my alone time but can be social when needed. For fun I like keeping things pretty low key, not a fan of partying but attend the occasional outings.
Iam a full time working professional. I am currently looking for a place to share / rent. I prefer a neat n tidy house. Would it be appropriate for you to kindly share your contact details so i can call you sometime to discuss in more detail. Thanks
I'm easygoing and open-minded, not to mention I clean up after myself^^ I'm mostly quiet when I study. I can cook rice, ramen, scrambled eggs and all types of fried breakfast meat including Spam, but that's about it. I go to Monash' clayton campus, and it's kind of far from home, so I'm looking for a place near either campus or work (in the city). Hobbies would be pretty much anything; I love trying out things I've never done before even if I turn out not to like it in the end. But on lazy days I'm alright with a good book or movie and food.
