Hi! I'm Tahlia, in my final year at UQ studying political science. My current housemate is moving in with her girlfriend so I'm in need of a new place to call home. I'm looking for a chill space where I can recharge at the end of the day. I'm happy to have a chat with housemates and an occasional dinner, but also keen to have my own space. When I'm not studying or working, you can find me curled up in bed with Netflix, a cuppa and some arts and/or crafts.
Hi Im a builder and looking for a place for my partner, maltese shihtzu and I. Ideally something separate (downstairs or auxillary dwelling) with our own kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms, storage for my tools and equipment close to my ute would be good. I own a house in Cleveland and its too far from the city and too expensive for us so we are renting it out asap. Long term stay to save for our next renovation/property investment project. I can renovate your house for cheap if required. Thank you. www.apcconstruction.com.au
G'day, my names Jack. I'm a cruisey 26 year old from Ballina(just south of Byron Bay) I work away overseas so i won't be home often, but i'd like to come home to a sociable, easy going household where i could unwind easily. I enjoy Rugby, gym, most music, eating food, binge watching a tv series in a short period of time, parmy nights and to kick back with a couple of beers and relax. Im looking to move in with like minded house mates who are social but also respect the need for privacy, would enjoy a family dinner and a few beers now and then. But most importantly, like to keep the house tidy and maintained. If you feel like I might be a good match, feel free to swing me a message. Cheers
Work full time as a PE teacher and sports coach, which keeps be super busy. I'm tidy, orgainsed, respectful and love a good Netflix binge. Pretty social person that loves a good chat though I enjoy my own space and I respects other peoples space as well. Though would love a house with people that would be down for wine and cheese nights. Will sometimes travel for work on weekends. Move date is flexible. Send me a message if you'd like to meet and see if we'd be a good fit.
Hi, I'm Jadin, I'm a genuine, easy going male from New Zealand. I'm very respectful and tidy and work full time for the brisbane council.
I'm a 34yo professional working Monday-Friday. I'm pretty busy during the week with work and a bit of study but enjoy a glass of wine or two on the weekend. I’m pretty social, so am out and about most weekends, but still love a good Netflix night in. I’m clean, respectful and have a lot of furniture too, that I can either bring or not!! I also have a cat, who’s pretty chilled most of the time. Am looking for someone to team up with in the Coorparoo area. Something low maintenance with a bit of room to have our own space. I’m currently staying with my sister so pretty flexible with move in dates too.
jay (34) myself-stacey (27) and our gorgeous chihuahua x puppy named frankie who is toilet trained and full of character all currently live in Ipswich qld. both jay and I are workers he as a full time bricklayer and myself as a production line pick packer on rotating shifts part time in a clothing factory in brisbane. Our weekends are for the most part our time to recoup for the week to come although we enjoy the odd beer we are quiet and respectful of others peace quiet and personal space. so I guess we are looking for more of a *private living arrangement ie; granny flat etc *separate entrances (just out of consideration do to my shift work) *pet friendly preferably indoors as frankie is totally toilet trained and quiet. Well I guess that pretty much sums us and our needs up I hope to hear from you soon. Regards Stace, jay and frankie
Hey! My names Amber. I'm looking for a longer term sharehouse around Brisbane city or somewhere between there and Murrarie. Recently moved up here from Melbourne and working full time in Admin at a building company as well as a casual job in Hospitality at a hotel so will hardly be home but always clean and tidy and respectful of different schedules. Easy to get along with looking for similar people with open communication. Do enjoy a drink or two and socialising, netflix, beach and travelling. Please shoot me a message if you have somewhere that suits :)
I've been living overseas for 5+ years, but ready to move back to brisbane now. I'm a freelance editor (books, articles, etc.) but I'll probably find other part-time work as well, as well as volunteer work (with the homeless) and various other things to do. I'm 28, non-smoker, non-annoying.
Hi, I'm Bec! I'm a freelance editor (I work from home) in my honours year of psyc at UQ. I volunteer as the treasurer for a student society and as an LGBT peer support counsellor. I’m often home, but am usually working at home. I mostly keep to myself but am happy to be friends and have a chat! I have mobility issues due to chronic illness, so am avoiding internal stairs. I’m medically heat intolerant (nightmarish) so would love somewhere with good airflow/air con/etc. I also have plant children. I love them, even though they don't love me rn. I'd ideally only like to live with one other person (or a granny flat/studio), a female if poss. Also, I spend a lot of time with my girlfriend and talk about her lots. I flag that I’m queer bc it makes it easier for someone to just move past my listing if need be. So. That’s me!
I currently work at UQ and Indooroopilly shopping centre both part time, I enjoy getting out and about during my days off preferably to the beach or out for a hike. I'm looking for a roommate or two that enjoy dinners and tv nights together to give the place a really homly vibe but I am also respectful of quiet time to ourselves. My current lease end around mid-May but I can be flexible with this for the right people/location. I have some living room and kitchen furniture currently but am happy to invest in whatever is still required.
Hi, I'm Ellie a 26yr professional, easy going, clean and tidy female and I am seeking a long term share house. I work in the minning industry and travel away every second week. So you would get the benefit's of a room mate sharing costs, yet have the place all to yourself 50% of the time. However on my week off the mines, when I am back in Brisbane, I also work fulltime hours in an admin job. I am seeking to rent two rooms or alternatively a large room where I could also put some furniture / items in the home. And a garage spot. It is very important to me to live in a nice clean house. I can't stand messiness or dirtiness. I'm bit of a perfectionist and I really won't be comfortable in a dirty house, so I'm hoping to find someone whom shares this attribute haha. I will need to be able to bring my gorgeous Dalmatian Sunny with me. He is 5yr desexed male, that has been highly trained. He is extremely obedient, absolutely no licking, jumping up, barking, destructiveness etc. I wanted a polite dog and made it a point to train mine in this way, he does not get in your face at all. He has been well socialized and is very placid to all creatures including cats small dogs, kids and everything inbetween. He is an inside dog but only at night time, and he stays quitely on his bed, no roaming around. He has been an inside dog since he was a puppy and has better manners then most people. He is kept very clean and has no odour at all, his bed is washed weekly. Also Sunny (the dog) won't be there on my week away, so he will only be there when I am home every second week. I am a friendly girl that's keen for a chat and hang out every now and again, I enjoy the occasional wine or beer but don't drink regularly and definitely don't want a party house. I am totally respectful of others and their belongings and expect the same. I am a car and bike enthusiast, I spend most my free time in the garage. My toys are very important to me (and extremely valuable) so I need to have peace of mind that they will be safe and totally respected when I'm away. (No people going threw the garage etc) Can pay large bond, and rent a few weeks in advance.
I am very quiet and currently training full time to represent Australia in a sport. If I’m not training or working I will generally be at work or spending time with my son. I want a house with people my age that don’t mind a conversation but also lead a healthy lifestyle
Hi, I'm James and i'm currently study at university. I also have a part time job so, I've been trying to keep good balance between study and work. I'd like to say i'm very flexible and active person. I love spending time with housemates for a coffee or beer when i'm free.
I am currently working full time (7AM - 4PM Monday - Friday) so i'll only really be home on weekends and in the afternoon/night time during the week. On weekends I love being social and going out but am also a sucker for kicking back and having a quiet night in. I'm respectful of other housemates, tidy up after myself and will happily do my share of the house cleaning.
Hi, I'm a writer working for Helloworld Travel in the city. I am moving to London in mid-July and just need a cheap place for a few months from March. I am very friendly, fun, considerate and reliable!
My name is Ange, I’m 25 and work full time in the media industry. My weeks are pretty busy but I fill my spare time up with being active and hanging out with family and friends. I enjoy going out for drinks and hitting the dance floor or going to concerts/gigs but also have a secret Nanna version of me (who doesn’t right). I’ve lived in a few share houses and know how to be respectful within the living arrangements. In all the places I’ve lived I’ve become good friends with my housemate. I’m only moving because the owners are selling and we’ve been forced to spilt up due to time constraints. Therefore I come with nearly a full house of furniture but we can pick and choose what you need and I can sell the rest and make an epic cheese platter with what I make 😉 I also have an 8 year old cavoodle named Sophie who lives with me part time. Custody battle with the parents... if you saw her face you’d understand. She’s super well trained, doesn’t shed hair and will love you forever. Super awful guard dog though, wouldn’t bark at at a fly. If I sound like someone you’d like to live with please message me and let’s grab a coffee / wine.
