I'm a 26yo software engineer working full time in east brisbane. I'm a sport and outdoor activities enthusiast. I do rock climbing with UQ sometimes in kangaroo point and sometimes indoor. I also started doing Muy Thai recently. So during the week i'm usually out till 7 or 8pm. I'm reasonably social and house trained, and i'm mainly looking for a place to call home where people are willing to communicate and maybe share a meal or drink whilst respecting each others privacy at the same time when it's needed. I'm into music and play guitar sometimes (I got my awesome headphone that i use when i wanna play, so you don't need to worry about the noise if it bothers you). Preferably looking or a place in West End with an undercover garage, but that's not a must.
Hey all! Im returning from India on November 16 and need a new place to stay short term. Long story short, I'll be moving to Melbourne in January some time for university! If you wondering, yes I have the capacity to support myself, pay bond and Rent until this time. I'll also be looking for some casual work to fill my time and save some money for Woodford Folk Festival! Of course you are welcome to join! A bit about myself, I'm an ex banker who left earlier this year to pursue tertiary studies and live a new dream. I'm 23 (male) and have lived in Brisbane since 2011 and have had numerous leases under my name with no problems in the past. I can give you my most recent reference if you need. I am flexible with any household arrangements that might include chores and bills. I only ask that there be good internet! I love to cook vegetarian meals, and am a bit of a yogi (who likes to party every now and again). I know everyone says it, but I do mean it when I say Im clean! But, not over excessively; many house shares has taught me how to love dirty dishes that aren't mine! Anyway, if you want to know more please email me or, like I said, I return to Aus on the 16th and can meet and inspect after this date! Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers Zach ps I'm looking for south side residence, but obviously can be swayed if you think we will get along and you have a killer pad ;)
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. When sharing you need to be respectful of others. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year, first sem accounting student at QUT. I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). Mia is currently 3 months old, she's a clever little monkey and wins everyone's hearts. It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
I'm a easy going, fun, chatty flatmate, who enjoys reading, a ridiculous amount of tv shows and going to the beach. I'm clean and tidy person who likes to hang with people but also prefers to have my own space. Looking for some roommates that can potentially become friends with. I'm not the biggest fan of clubbing anymore but I do enjoy going out for meals and the occasional sneaky drink.
I'm a Psychology student at QUT and work part-time at a pizza store (that means I can bring you home amazing pizza after my shifts). I'm a tidy, easy going person who is respectful of personal space but keen to sesh and socialise with my roommates :) message me if you have any other questions. I am willing to pay more rent for the master bedroom.
Hey guys,so basically I'm looking at studying a diploma of sports development next year based at QUT and I'd like to move into a new place around February-April.Ideally I'd like to be close to the city, but anywhere is fine just as long as it's not too far out from the city.I don't drive so getting to and from places I rely on public transport or ubers. I'm pretty chilled, down to earth, clean & quiet.I do like hanging out and watching movies but other than that you'll barely notice I'm home.I like to stay fit and maintain that so I most of the time do meal prep everyday for the next day but I'm happy to cook house meals here and there.I do like to bake and bring home junk food if I stumble across the bakery section in Coles, and I always share the bad food I bring home.lol As mentioned above I'm a clean and tidy person, always cleaning up after myself and don't mind cleaning up after others but not too much.Im very well mannered and have a bubbly personality with a side of goofiness.I don't drink much,I don't smoke and I don't do drugs. In my spare time I like to chill or get outta the house and watch a movie or hangout in the city.I also love to learn about other cultures and languages,Espanol in particular. So yeah feel free to message me if you're interested in teaming up 😊
I'm Kelly - 29 - Looking for a place to share closer to work as I have started a new job in Murarrie. I'm really fun and easy going. I like to go to the gym and eat healthy foods and whip up my green juices. With that being said, I also love to eat out and try new foods. I am not a party animal by any means, but sometimes would like to have friends over for wine & cheese etc and I do enjoy going out to a nice bar for a few drinks. I work in the Events industry Mon-Fri and sometimes the odd weekend. I would totally respect your space and I am very clean and Tidy! I'm pretty busy most weekends catching up with friends and family and love to get out and about. Can't say I'm every really home too much on weekends. I would love to find a room mate who can also be my friend, enjoy a chit chat, wine or go out to breakfast etc every now and again.
I'm on exchange from the US studying at UQ for a year, but my lease runs out this summer so I need a new place to stay for another 6 months! Things I enjoy include: swimming, bikes, wine, cooking, doing my dishes, paying rent on time, and also chocolate. Would love to meet some new flatmates as my current one is moving away :( I can move at any time but would prefer early Jan as I will be traveling and won't return until then. Please don't hesitate to contact me! :)
We are two friends in our mid-twenties (29 is still mid, right?!), both working full time and relocating from Central Queensland to Brisbane on January 3. Yvette works as a beauty therapist and Aly is in journalism and communications. We have a small dog, a 4-year-old Mini Dachshund named London, who will also be coming along for the ride. We are looking for a third female to live with us in either a house or large townhouse in South Brisbane. The house will be fully furnished, except for your room. We are open to those who would like to be on the lease with us, or not. We are both super friendly, easy-going and love a celebration when one is called for. We are equally as hard-working, health-conscious and sensible when we need to be. In our spare time we love getting outdoors; going to the beach, exercising and hanging out with friends. We would like to live with someone who shares the same mindset as us; who can contribute to the household and get along with the banter, but also respect down-time and is genuinely honest and considerate. Ideally, we would like to live with someone who also works full time. Oh, and you must love dogs (and let's be honest, he'd be upset if he knew we were referring to him as a dog)! It goes down in the DM's - message us for more info! :)
Hey the names Dave I'm 24 and from Ireland. I moved to Brisbane in February and am currently a few weeks away from finishing my farm work for my 2nd year visa so am living out west at present. I plan on travelling for the month of December and coming back to Brisbane towards the start of the new year and am looking for accommodation. I'm very friendly, easy going and good for a conversation. I would like to move to a social household who work during the week but enjoy the weekends. Things I like doing in my spare time would be going to the beach, having drinks with friends and going on weekend trips! I'm clean, reliable with rent and respect others property and privacy as well. That's myself on the right in the pic by the way! :) I'm pretty open as to where I live when I move back to Brisbane once it's within a reasonable commute to the city :) If I sound like I'd be a good fit for your place don't hesitate to give me a message and we can go from there! :) Cheers!
I am looking for one housemate to join me in a new lease in a unit in Greenslopes/ Coorparoo. I would be looking to have the master room with the trade off of the car space/ garage for you and the fact I will provide furniture for shared areas including whitegoods. Ideally the unit will be 2 bath so we each have our own space. I am looking for someone similar in age with an interest in health/ fitness, clean and respectful and someone I can be friends with. I like to have a chat but also really like my own space (introvert right here!). My top interests are - gym (especially body combat) - cooking and baking healthy food - music including playing my piano - puppies (sadly don't have one) - picnics, the beach and Sunday markets Send me a message if you think we sound like we'd be compatible :) Kristy x
Hello, My name is Jennifer and I am looking to move asap. I'm looking for a room which is air-conditioned, has a good size as I study and sew (my hobby) generally from my room. I have my own bed and bedroom furniture. I am currently studying, I am also involved with volunteer work at my Church. I am a Christian and would prefer a Christian home and environment, or at least one that is not antagonistic toward Christian faith. I am diligent, clean and tidy, I have studied Public Health at Griffith University (undergrad). I can't be around cats, drugs and dislike the effects of alcohol (it changes people). I don't smoke. I'm pretty quiet in my own space, but i have a great sense of humour and sense of fun and enjoy communication with those around me, but totally respect and expect the need for privacy. I love to do my own thing and am completely independent. I have a vehicle and would appreciate off-street parking if that is available, under-cover even better :) I don't mind sharing with male or female, or the age group. The price I have quoted would possibly include bills and use of unlimited wifi? Air-con in room is essential for which I can contribute a reasonable amount more per-week for elec if required. Being summer, a pool at the premises (house or town-house) would be a happy bonus! Do I sound like a fit, or close fit for your place? If so, please contact me at your earliest. Thank you, Jennifer :)
Hi! My name is Steph, I am a 24 year old Primary School Teacher. I have recently moved back to Australia after living in London and travelling around Europe. I am tidy, easy to get along with and reliable. I am looking for a share house like the one I had in London, we all got along great and were quite social when we were all home but also respected each others privacy. When I'm not busy working, I enjoy travelling, going to the beach, meeting up with my family and friends, road trips and seeing live bands :)
I am moving to Brisbane in the next few weeks (not sure on the exact date yet) and will be working full time as a legal secretary. I am clean and respectful. I have a car, so a car space or easy street parking must be available.
I am currently working full time as a jeweller, I'm looking to move a bit closer to my job in Muarrarie. I'm pretty quiet and I'm not home a lot of the time. Equally happy hanging out having a chat or enjoying my own company. I'm very respectful and clean. I do have a little parrot named Calvin, he is able to live outside and doesn't make a huge amount of noise. I am looking for a house with a garage or some space where I can set up my workbench where I make jewellery.
I'm 28 and from London and have been in Australia for 10months and loving every second. I work as a Human Resources advisor. I am into health and fitness and try to be as active as possible by going to the gym 5 times a week. I also like to go hiking as a way of exercise but also to see this beautiful country. As long as I am busy and outdoors I enjoy most activities! I'm a fun and sociable girl who enjoys meeting new people and am extremely clean and tidy (I actually enjoy tidying up haha!) I am a positive person who sees the good in everything and like to be around like minded people. I have lived out of home since I was 16 so I am very well house trained and respectful when living with other people. I am wanting to live with people who will become my friends and not just people I live with
*EDIT/: I'm sorry, but the cats are not negotiable. It's me and them. Thank you :)* I'm a quirky introvert. Bit of a nerd. Night-owl. Over-sized tshirts. Geek conventions. Science doco marathons. PC gaming. Medieval re-enacting. Animal freak and lover of body mods. Non smoker. Social drinker only. I work part time (full time hours) as a vet nurse in Underwood. I have a license and a car, but I'd prefer to be near reliable public transport. I have 2 adorable, friendly cats. Hoping to find someone to move out with around the end of october/ beginning of november. Not fussed on gender or sexuality. I plan to rent long term, but it's ok if you're short term and can help me replace you when you want to leave :). I have my own furniture. I'm a clean person, but like a home with a bit of personality to it. No pristine, perfect white, show homes please haha.
Hey, I am looking for a chilled place to live with social roommates. I am studying in the city Wed- Fri and working as a nanny Mon-Tues and some weekends so I am pretty busy. I don't have a car so near public transport is a must for me. I have lived in shared accommodation before so I know the deal and always clean up after myself. I am from England but been living in Brisbane for nearly 2 years, love going to the beach lounging out reading in the sun. Looking forward to meeting future house mates.
I've returned from living abroad for 2 years and am currently working in fashion retail. I'm super easy going and respect people's privacy but I also am the kind of person who enjoys sharing the occasional drink or meal with my housemates.
Hey there, I'm an easy going girl. Work full time in the city so looking for somewhere not too far away. I'm looking to move into a house that's pet friendly and with someone who is ok with dogs as I'll have my labrador puppy (Maisey) with me. It would be awesome if my potential housemates had a dog too as I'd love for Maisey to have a friend whilst i"m at work. I'm sociable but I also enjoy my own space. Send me a msg if you think we could team up!
I am a relaxed 22 year old male who is always busy. I am currently working full time at a law firm and studying law online (3 subjects so full study load). I like a chat but also value my quiet time, and am often out and about on weekends so you won't hear much from me. I am a bit of an old man and not a messy party animal as many people my age are. I exercise regularly and enjoy a drink or two on the occasion or with dinner. I generally do not have people over except my girlfriend who currently stays over 2-3 nights/week. I generally spend the same amount of time at her house each week meaning I won't be in your hair. I am vegan, but do not care what other people eat. I eat quite clean and love to cook for others so am happy to make some share meals occasionally. I am clean and considerate, don't make a lot of noise and have always had great success in share houses. I am currently renting a one bedroom unit on my own however am looking to move and save a bit of money with plans to head to europe for 3-4 weeks next year and start saving for a house deposit. I have an amazing 12 month old kitten named peanut who I would love to bring with me, he spends majority of his time outside, has never defecated inside and doesn't need cat litter. I am prepared to part with him however would prefer not to (You will fall in love with him as soon as you meet him). I am looking to move in somewhere on the 26th November (Am happy to pay bond on the right place in advance). Feel free to add me on Facebook if you would like to stalk my lifestyle a little.

I'm searching for a similar minded chick to move in with at the end of the year/ very early January for at least six months. Preferably around the same age. I am a single full time worker at a CBD hotel which can turn into some pretty crazy double shifts. I'm a pretty easy going chick but like to have my own space at times. I have a lot of my own furniture and appliances and would be looking to bring most of it along. Lastly, I'm looking to make a friend out of my housemate so someone who has similar interests and would be open to hanging out every now and then and share a couple meals whilst watching some trashy tv.
Hi, my names Kate :) I'm basically looking for a wonderful share house for my kitty and I. (He is very well behaved) I'm currently working in Brisbane city and have also been applying for a second job, so money won't be an issue. I have lived in two share house's before so I know the ropes pretty well! I'm a really easy going person and it takes a lot to bother me. I occasionally like alone time but of course I'm up for drinks, socialising and just Hanging out! I considered myself to be respectful, considerate and just a friendly person (: I do smoke cigarettes but only outside. I love music, art, reading and cats of course. But my favourite thing is to sit down with a glass or 3 of red wine and just chill out or go to bar/gig. ✨ Thanks for taking the time to read this :) If there's anything I missed, let me know!
I'm independent, work full time, non-smoker. I'm fairly quiet during the week and don't mind a wine or two on the weekends. I'm very respectful of others.
I'm an easy going 28 year old professional looking for a female flatmate to co-sign a lease with for at least 6 months, somewhere within the inner suburbs of Brisbane. I currently have a house full of furnishings/appliances so I can bring as much or as little as we would need. Ideally I would like to move into a House, Townhouse or large Apartment with min. 3 bedrooms so that there is a spare room for any possible guests. Also somewhere that is walking distance to cafe's and shops would be ideal! A little more about me: - I was born right here in Brisbane and work in an Operations position within a construction company. - I am a non-smoker and don't do drugs. - I do not have pets or children. - I'm sociable, however I do like my own space as well. - I'm not a big drinker, but do enjoy a nice mojito every now and again :) - I love to cook and enjoy going to fresh food markets. - I'm extremely tidy and like to be in a clean environment. Would be happy to share the cost of a cleaner every fortnight. - On the weekends I enjoy spending time with my family and friends which usually involves meeting up at a cafe for brunch and going to my parents house at the coast. - My closest friends are all married with kids so it would be great to find a flatmate who I could form a new friendship with. If you are a similar fit to the above and are looking for a flatmate like me, feel free to send me a message :)
*I am not ready to move until end of November* I am friendly, clean, quiet and busy. I am active, enjoy other people's company and also enjoy my own space. I would like to live very close to work at woolloongabba, near the city. I am currently just having a look at the market because my lease does not end until the end of November 2016 I do have appliances needed for a home, so if I get points for fridge, washing machine, dryer, spare bed, appliances, then happy to use within your home. Otherwise, they will be stored away in storage, or sold before I move.
Dear future flatmates, My name is David. I'm a student, working part-time, and tend to keep to myself. I'm happy to socialise, however, and enjoy a chat, but I'm not much of a party person, valuing peace and quiet above all. I am reliable and respectful, clean and courteous. You'll find me recommended by past landlords and flatmates (references available upon request). My interests are literature, music and film, and I also love to travel (though don't get to do it nearly enough). I'm a non-smoker with extensive experience sharing accommodation with others. I hope to find a place soon, hopefully partly- or fully-furnished. Thanks
Super friendly, down to earth recruitment consultant seeking awesome room mates. Love music festivals, beach trips and Netflix/pj nights. Looking for roomies I can share a bottle of wine with and go on weekend adventures.
I'm a really easy going guy. I'm independent, I like to be sociable with the people I live with but I definitely have my own life & friends so I'm not always hanging around the house. I do enjoy a couple of drinks & going out on weekends but I've definitely mellowed in my 30's so the party till dawn days are behind me for sure. I ride motorbikes & like to spend my weekends doing that in the daylight & then a few drinks out with friends once the sun goes down. I'm single, so it'll generally just be me using the hot water & electricity... Anything else, feel free to msg me & ask away!
Hey :) My names Vanessa, I'm 20 years old and currently working in hospitality. I am also a dancer and just finished my studies in the city. I love going to the beach and listening to music, art, traveling, reading books, eating food Haha I also love to go out with friends and have a couple of drinks occasionally. I'm not a big party person but we've had a couple of parties where I live now (with friends) so all goods if that's your thing :) I love animals so I don't mind if you have one haha that'll be a bonus 😄 I'm easy going and always keen to hangout with my housemates, but I completely respect everyone's privacy and independence :) I'm happy to help clean up around the house and do my part. That's no problem at all. I'm keen to move out soon! Peace.
I am looking to team up and rent a townhouse, apartment with a courtyard or house. I have two dogs- Ruby an English staffy and Thomas a Jug. They both love people, so the housemate would have to be a dog lover. But they are clean, fairly well behaved and walked every day. I am a full time nurse so work shift work. Am clean, tidy, love to meet new people, don't want a party house but do enjoy dinner parties and a wine here. I love to walk my dogs, eat out, exercise, yoga, read, paint, I follow a healthy lifestyle and go to the beach. Please contact me for any questions :)

Hi! We are a couple looking to team up with someone AWESOME to find a new place to live. We are pretty easy-going people, we we'd like to find someone else who is too. I (Shari) work full time in HR, sometimes long hours so I'm pretty much a home body during the work week. Jon is from the US and studying full time at Uni. We are very interested in team ups to look for a pet friendly house within 30 minutes of Kelvin Grove, which is where I work. We need a pet friendly house because of Basil, our black labrador. He is a beautiful, friendly boy and is well trained (even if I do say so myself!). Send us a message if you want to have a chat!
Clean, friendly, dedicated guy looking for a room ready to move into now. I work as an undergrad Accountant, part time while study (Accounting/Electrical Engineering) and full time during holidays. My job is secure and I am not in any debt, so I can easily pay rent every week. In my free time I like to head out, shoot pool, hang with mates or just go for a casual drive. I keep myself busy, so when I'm not working or socialising I am generally studying. Thus, I value personal space when it's needed. I am a team player, willing to help where I can. I am looking for a well managed household that is friendly and respectful. Currently only committing to short term (4-6 months) but could be looking for that to be extended. If you think I may suit your house or have any questions, please ask, I consider myself quite easy going and adaptable.
I'm tidy, respectful, hygienic, honest and self reliant. I'm a qualified sparkie with a reliable job, I like 4x4ing and riding moto, Iv always lived in tarragindi but don't mind living elsewhere. I like socialising but can also respect boundarys and can analyse situations quite well, i have no dept meaning I can pay rent on time every time, I don't smoke and am out most weekends. I'm a team player and can get along with pretty well anyone. I hope too find a genuine group of people with the same attitude as myself, keen too move out sooner then said date if need be, feel free too msg me, I'm pretty easy going cheers.
Hi! I'm a 25 year old single professional looking for some cool housemates to share a place with. I'm tidy, quiet and like to be social, but also like my own space too. My current lease is up at the end of November so would be looking for something around then. I currently live in the Valley and I'm preferably looking for somewhere in the city fringe areas or somewhere within 15-20 minutes of the city in the southern suburbs. I have a lot of my own furniture that I can bring to the house, but can also put it in storage if the house is already furnished. I would also ideally like a room that will comfortably fit a queen-sized bed, and has a built-in wardrobe. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to know anything further!
Hey everyone! I'm Jess and looking for a house to live in with my partner, Declan. We are both really down to earth people and are looking for housemates that we can be friends with and hang out! We are both tidy and respectful people. I work full time and Declan works casually at a cafe in Holland Park so he's home more than I am. Both of us like to chill at home, sometimes have friends over for some bevies and laughs, and I love to drag people to the beach with me on the weekends. We have a bunch of furniture, plenty of kitchen stuff and outside furniture to share. We are currently looking for a house somewhere as our lease ends November 4th so we would love to hear from some people.
The question is what makes me great to live with: Well I'm funny and am always willing to laugh at myself. I have an awesome dog which I take full responsibility for so you get to have a pet but not be burdened. I have a house full of furniture and have been running a share house up here in Cairns. I have been living in Cairns so I am really excited to get out and about. I am a healthy eater, non-smoking non-sleazy gay. (I've met people that are using this sight for a hook-up thats not me.) I like a clean house but I'm not going to dust. I'd prefer a cleaning schedule and general house rules of cleanliness. OR to get a cleaner once a week or two so there are no roommate issues. Anyway let me know if anyone is keen.
Jon is a full time student studying Chemistry at QUT. Thienna is completing Travel and Tourism studies at TAFE and will be working part time in the industry. We are friendly, tidy and reliable! We love to cook, watch strange movies and listen to all-the-music. We spend most of our time studying so you probably won't hear from us much but we're always up for friendly banter or some DNMs. We're very relaxed and all we really want is to live with people who clean up after themselves and won't eat our food without asking! Ideally we would like a big room with our own bathroom.
