I am Australian but have been living in the USA and Italy for many years...I have come home to assist my elderly parents as they have both been ill and have extended my stay to be close to them while they recover. My stay here in Australia is almost over and as my housemate has sold her place I need a new place until I leave to go back to Italy. I am super easy going... I visit my parents frequently, I enjoy markets and exploring new areas, sometimes eating out but I mostly cook my meals at home. I like to watch movies or spend time chatting with friends online who are mostly overseas ...pretty normal stuff really. I have a part time job at Carindale to keep me occupied. I don't smoke or drink. I like a clean and tidy home. No party houses please. I am respectful, clean and live healthy. My budget is 150 per week including bills and internet and furnished rooms only please.
Hi, looking for a place to call home, inner city/Southside area. I am 28 and am a working professional. During the week I keep relatively quite but on weekends may have a few drinks etc to wind down. I am clean, tidy and respectful. Cheers, Matt.
I'm 22, working in hospitality and studying education support. Fairly outgoing gal so i'm usually down for a couple of drinks on the weekend or a movie night. Whereas other times i'm happy to chill out alone and will respect if you want space also. I enjoy going on adventures, live music and being active.
Hi! we are a social, easy going, tidy and fun couple. Daniel is a Safari Guide from South Africa and Val is from Brisbane. Both working part-time and we are okay with sharing the space with pets. Looking for something till March next year as Daniel will be off on another adventure.
I come with two beautiful pets... a sweet old cat for cuddles... and a lovely young dog for keeping active. Must bw animal lover, not tolerater looking for a nice kind relaxed home n people. Hope to hear from u soon.
Hey I'm Mike, I work full time as a designer in Toowong. I'm pretty chill throughout the week and tend to be pretty quiet. By the time I've worked out and eaten dinner it's usually late enough to wind down. Weekends I try to get out of Brisbane and head to the beach or go for a hike. I love socializing and wont turn down a few drinks, but I'm by no means a party animal.
Hiya! I'm a happy, friendly individual looking for a laid back house to live. I'm quite shy and like to keep to myself most of the time, but enjoy going out on weekends too. I'm tidy and always clean up after myself. I'm currently looking for a new job, but have a consistent income from the government while job seeking. I'll likely spend a few nights a week at my boyfriend's house, and would be happy to pay more if he could stay a night or two per week. Thanks for taking the time to read! :)
Hey, I'm Rachel, 26, and in my last semester of Arts before honours, so I'll be very studious in the coming months. I like nature, philosophy, reading, art, and design. As a housemate, I’m considerate, clean, tidy, and always up for a chat, a wine or an art/games night. I would love to make you a chocolate pudding. If we sound like a match, I’d love to hear from you!
My name is Victoria, I am a young professional working in the city. I am looking for a room to rent for approximately $160 (+/- $20) per week inclusive of bills and internet with an off the street car park for my small car. Must be with clean and tidy people. I am not fussed about location as long as it has a bus stop/train station within 50 metres of the front door which goes straight to the city. I am easy going, tidy and respectable. I don’t drink, won’t be having parties, don’t smoke and don’t have any pets. My boyfriend stays with me for one to two nights every fortnight. If you don’t have a big fridge, I have a smallish fridge which I would like to bring with me. Room can be furnished or unfurnished. Please message me on flatmates.com or call or text me if you have something available.
I’m clean and tidy. Most likely will always be busy working. Need a place as my current lease is about to run out and my current roomates are moving.
Heya :) (Really important - i have a dog that needs a yard and a fence please) I'm working full time as a Sonographer and am completing my studies this semester (quietly fist pumping the sky!!!). My partner lives South and I work North side so me and my 3yr old Staffy are looking for somewhere in the city to call home for a while! When I'm not working or studying, I'm walking Kio (my dog), doing something active or seeing friends and family. I keep things tidy, I'm considerate of your space but I would be happy to hang out and chat, and somehow I always manage to gravitate to the kitchen and clean!
Hi, I’m Craig, I served in the military for 12 years in catering and military police. I like to think I’m a decent cook especially as I currently teach it to secondary students. I’ve been teaching in remote Qld for last 3 years and now on my way into the city. I’ve been looking at rentals and have discovered the ability to get a stunning unit with all the facilities in the areas enabling a lifestyle taking advantage of the river, Southbank, cafes etc is far greater if I combine with another as once you get over the 500 mark you get the storage, double bathroom, views etc. I obviously work ft, active so I’ll be out walking, cycling etc but also love movie nights and AFL, and whilst privacy is a given, the ability to communicate, get on, and enjoy being at home is vital. Arriving late August, early September. I have some furniture inc 2 great new lounge chairs, a 65cm 3d 4K tv, a spare dbl bed if you’d like to use or I’ll sell, kitchen gear. It seems these units come with washing machine/dryer and sometimes fridge. What we don’t have, will put my bargain hunting to a challenge lol.
Hi! I'm Jess, I recently turned 26 and I work full time in the Brisbane CBD. I'm pretty chill and not a huge party animal, but I'm always up for a good chat and some wine if the mood strikes. I don’t have a specific deadline to move by, so my move in date is pretty flexible and can work around whatever suits my future housemates. I don't know how to write this without sounding like I'm trying to sell my soul on the black market but please just ask me if you want any more specific info! :)
Hi 🙋🏽♀️ I am Michelle. I am a 26yr old, full time working professional. I am a friendly, bubbly, down to earth person. I work Monday - Friday and like to either exercise or relax after work. I enjoy my alone time but also love a chat, glass of wine/beer, cheese platter or just watching some TV shows with my housemates. I am a clean and tidy person. I am very considerate, respectful, trustworthy and easy to live with. I am looking to move into a friendly, chilled and respectable home (not a party house). With females who are similar minded, are friendly, easy to live with, like to keep the house clean and share the housework. Ideally I am looking for a room with an ensuite bathroom, air conditioning and off street parking. Room must be unfurnished as i have my own bedroom furniture. Open to teaming up on a new home also.
Searching for: - Large room or 2x rooms - Ensuite or own bathroom - Air-conditioned room - Up to $300 for 1.5-2 rooms - Up to $250 if some storage is required - Preference for shared bills - Quiet location (not really city/valley) - Close by access to transport to the city - Pets are ok :) - Maximum 3x (no couples please) - Professionals or quiet students - Non-smoking house please About Me: Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm 30 and work full-time in the CBD, enjoy social sport and enjoy quiet activities at home such as reading, art or the odd reality show :) I also enjoy going out for breakfast, coffee and browsing vintage stores or markets on the weekends. I'm not into a party house, loud music or too much socialising at home (outside of the housemates) as home for me is for relaxing after a long day or week. I'm keen to live with someone who shares a similar mindset around respecting and compromising in a shared space so that everyone is comfortable and happy. It would be lovely to meet a new friend and have a wine if it works out but I'm also keen to have some personal space and a good house layout. I'd definitely love to share with a cat or small dog as I haven't been able to get one myself. I'm currently renting a townhouse to share but the owner has chosen to sell last minute. This means I'm flexible on dates and periods at the moment. Ideally I'd like the same set-up which is 3-beds+ between 2 and I'd also consider renting two adjacent rooms and bathroom if its close to budget. I do have a house of furniture (lounge, fridge, washing machine, TVs etc.) so ideally I could use some, or store some in a garage, but for the right room and price I will put this into storage. Reasonable storage is a must. If you think we would work well together or you have a set-up that would suit me, please let me know and send me a message :)

Because I work shift work I am barely home but when you’ll either find me at the gym or playing roller derby but I do like to relax with some Netflix or a drink on the deck. I love to travel and go home or interstate as much as possible. I’m a very respectful and clean housemate that will always take share in doing the housework ie dishes, cleaning the place and taking the bins out. Anything else you’d like to know feel free to shoot me a message :)
Hi, my dog Tori and I are looking for our new home. We're currently living by ourselves in Forest Lake, the house is for sale and I'd love to move closer to everything I enjoy, have someome to share a home with and split the bills so money can be spent on more fun things. A leafy area would be superb as Tori and I love walks. About me - I've called Brisbane home for a year and half. I work as an administrator/coordinator at a mining company. I love that it pays the bills but no so much that it's a mining company. I love yoga, stand up paddle & dancing. In my spare time I'll also be at the markets, movies, brunch/dinner with mates. I'd rather go out with friends than have people over. About Tori - she's been my girl for 16/17 years. We literally found her on the street as a puppy and I think she’s a whippet x cattle dog. She's super chilled and respectful. She loves sunbaking, bones and paddle boarding. She doesn't ask for anything, if you ignore her she'll do the same. If you're in the mood for hanging with her she'll more than likely jump on board with that. She does lose hair and roll in grass and because of this I've taken on the responsibility of most of the cleaning in my previous sharehouse. I'm after someone who'd like to make a house a home and who'd welcome Tori. I'd welcome a housemate who'd like to join me on market trips etc.
Hey I'm Nicole! I'm 22 years old and looking for a place to live at the start of August with 1 to 2 people. I work full-time so during the week I'm usually at work. I sometimes enjoy a drink on the weekend and socialising! I do like my down time sometimes as working can get very tiring at times. I would like to live with people who also like to hang out, not just 'housemates'. I am also very clean, tidy and very reliable :)
Hi I'm Shane. Construction worker, leading hand, Safety OH&S. We are a young newly married couple who both work full-time during the week in health-care as Occupational Therapists. On the weekends we enjoy relaxing (watching Netflix, hanging out), playing board games and going out shopping. We both live active lifestyles and frequently exercise and eat healthy when we can. We are looking for people of similiar age with similiar interests but also who value having times to themselves.
