Hi we are looking for a new place as our current place has become unavailable for a new lease and our flat mates are moving interstate. Ideally we need our own bathroom and a large room to live and sleep in. I have a small well trained dog that is never left at home alone. My partner is from Thailand and I am Australian. I am a self employed landscaper and I spend most of my time working. Sometimes I have to work from home so a room big enough for a desk is desirable. I am well educated and I can’t live with people who regularly drink alcohol or use drugs. Sometimes I have a few beers but not often. I’d like to live with people who are well educated and see things how it is. Must have a sense of humour. Must have a job and no pathetic money problems. (I don’t want to live with people that have to steal other people’s food or steal minor stuff to hok on eBay etc.) My girlfriend can cook excellent Thai food and we will share when we can. I have land and a container from which I store all my tools and work materials. I also have all my “other” stuff in a container at storage facility. Therefore I travel light, ie I only need to bring minimal things to the room. (Bed, desk, clothes, gas Weber (optional), esky, bar fridge (optional) , girlfriend, dog and kitchen sink.) I have a classic car which I could store at my land but a secure shed/garage would be ideal. I need a secure place (outdoor is ok) to park my Ute as it usually has loose tools in the tray. Sometimes I bring my trailer home so room to park and turn around with a trailer would be convienient. I need flexibility to be able to move out anytime, no contracts or hefty deposits. I try to pay rent well in advance. I need this flexibility because I don’t want to move in to a place and then find there is drug/alcohol problems or undesirable visitors or other problems and then loose the deposit because I move out in a short time. I have a small well trained dog that comes to work with me during the week and often stays at my mother’s house on weekends. A room with outdoor access would be good. We return to Thailand several times per year. So Every few months we are gone for a month. I don’t steal or lie, I don’t have undesirable visitors. I pay rent ahead or on time.
We're both in Australia on the working holiday visa until September 2019. One is a full-time worker and the other is an events management intern. Pretty chilled and laid back but very clean. From Northern Ireland.
I'm a 26 year old female professional, keen interest in fitness and the outdoors, love dogs so I'm open to a pet friendly home and I'm clean, sociable, laid back, love a bit of Netflix to relax during the week but more out and about on the weekends :)

I'm 23, I have a 2 year old Husky called Ghost, I'm pretty much to myself don't make a lot of noise, I'm very easy going, I'm a transport driver currently so I work fairly long days and when I'm not working I'm trying to get away with Ghost or in my room grinding on the xbox.
I work in a very social environment and tend to get a long with a variety of personalities. I consider myself a pretty easy going person, who is clean and tidy but not obsessively neat (except when I'm stressed... then I can be found doing extreme OCD cleaning of kitchens and bathrooms...) I like my own space and privacy when I've just finished work, but enjoy random chats over coffee/tea/wine/beer/food... I work full-time as a beauty therapist and often have late night commitments at a Brisbane dance school, so it will often seem like I'm not home much. I really love food and like to sometimes share random new creations/experiments/discoveries...
Hi my name is Brodie, I am a full time special education teacher, and I also do a lot of volunteer work at the RSPCA. My intention is to find a good fit on here and start looking for a property. I will be looking for a Queenslander with a nice big deck, yard and new bathroom/s and kitchen. Ideally I’d like 3 bedrooms, so we have a spare for guests...I’m happy to furnish that one too. I have a house full of (nice and new) furniture, so all you need is bedroom stuff. I will be fostering dogs from the shelter occasionally, so if you’re a dog lover, you’re in luck! I am flexible on move in dates so we can find something we really love! I am 28, single and a bit of a home body Monday to Friday given how demanding my job can be, so it’s important that my house feels like a home. I enjoy my privacy, but am also super friendly and always up for a beer and a laugh. I am super clean and neat, and would hate to live with someone messy. I’m really only looking for one housemate so a couple wouldn’t be an appropriate fit. Gender doesn’t bother me, but I’m (for the most part) grown out of my wild stage and don’t need a party animal for a housemate. Wouldn’t mind if you were studying, as long as you could pay the rent and bills! If you think we’d get along, holla and we’ll grab a beer and chat!
Looking to move into 2 bedroom place with one pre existing tennant, if your offering a share house a max of bedrooms for me would be 3. I work part time as a Barber at Garden City, i love to hang out with friends and socialise on the weekends and youll find me at my partners on the Northside. I have a car, so a car space is an absolute must for me. Im pretty clean and tidy and enjoy my own privacy as much as you would enjoy yours, at the same time im pretty social but i can respect boundaries. I have lived in share houses before so i know what they're like so there are no surprises with me.
We are a couple who have just moved back home from the UK after 2 years. I'm 24 y.o. and a barista and Brian is 29 y.o. and a chef. We love travelling, food, socialising and going out for the occasional drink. We are both tidy and respectful people and like to get along with the people we live with.
Moving to Brisbane from Sydney in early January 2019. I work full time and enjoy spending time at home as well as socialising. Very neat and tidy.
Hello lovely people, Looking for a place to call home far away from home! My name is Annelie, I am 29, from Berlin in Germany and just returned to my favourite city in Australia, Brisbane! ❤️🌆 I‘m looking for...🏡 ...a single room preferably but not essentially in a shared house with like-minded people of a similar age (late 20’s, early 30’s), close to CBD area but max. 30 minutes by bus/train away. The room doesn’t have to be fully furnished, but should have a bed. More about me 🌸 I’m a pretty active person, a go-getter and a life lover who is enthusiastic and always keen to make the most out of each day. Super positive, clean, organised, open-minded and mature with a great sense of humour. Good vibes, friendly people and sunshine really make me happy! ☀️ That’s probably why I fell in love with Brissy. ☺️ I love outdoor sports, like to meet people, try and learn new things and feel the love from all kind of instruments, esp guitar and piano. Flat life ☀️ Should be clean, respectful, in peace and harmony. As I keep myself pretty busy with all sort of things I usually do my own thing. However I also do enjoy spending some time with flatmates here and there as I think it’s nice to know who you live with. Some cooking or simply a glass of wine or a beer with a good chat is all it sometimes needs for a nice homy atmosphere. 🍷✨ Good vibes are the most important characteristic my future home should have. :) Thanks, Annelie
I am.an easy going person. I work 5 days a work so very busy. I have 2 kids that live with my ex. They visit every once in a while. I am also studying part BSc Environment and Sustainability. I was born in Zimbabwe but have been living here for 11yrs.
Please check if your offering matches my search below Searching for: - Maximum 3x (no couples please) - Large room or 2x rooms - Ensuite or own bathroom - Air-conditioned room - Up to $300 for 1.5-2 rooms (room needed for desk & draws) - Up to $250 for 1 room if some external storage is required - Preference for shared bills - Quiet location (not really city/valley) - Close by access to transport to the city - Pets are ok :) - Professionals or quiet students - Non-smoking house please About Me: Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm 30 and work full-time in the CBD, enjoy social sport and enjoy quiet activities at home such as reading, art or the odd reality show :) I also enjoy going out for breakfast, coffee and browsing vintage stores or markets on the weekends. I'm not into a party house, loud music or too much socialising at home (outside of the housemates) as home for me is for relaxing after a long day or week. I'm keen to live with someone who shares a similar mindset around respecting and compromising in a shared space so that everyone is comfortable and happy. It would be lovely to meet a new friend and have a wine if it works out but I'm also keen to have some personal space and a good house layout. I'd definitely love to share with a cat or small dog as I haven't been able to get one myself. I'm currently renting a townhouse to share but the owner has chosen to sell last minute. This means I'm flexible on dates and periods at the moment. Ideally I'd like the same set-up which is 3-beds+ between 2 and I'd also consider renting two adjacent rooms and bathroom if its close to budget. I do have a house of furniture (lounge, fridge, washing machine, TVs etc.) so ideally I could use some, or store some in a garage, but for the right room and price I will put this into storage. Reasonable storage is a must. If you think we would work well together or you have a set-up that would suit me, please let me know and send me a message :)
About me I'm an early educator working in Camp Hill. I’ve been living in brissy for 2 years now, I moved up from country NSW and am loving it. I consider myself tidy, easy going, well mannered and a non smoker. I live quite a busy life between sport, study, meetings, socialising and travelling home to visit family. I am away most weekends. So I do like my quiet time to myself, but am always up for a chat also. Not a real party girl but don’t mind a casual drink or two every now and then.
Super chilled guy and so easy to get along with. Barely home as I’m always at work and then training after. When I am home, I basically just live out of my room and keep to myself a lot. Love to have a few on the weekends and head out! Also have a 3yr old husky that needs a place with me!
I have 2 amazing dogs that love people and bring a place to life. They’re outside dogs when I’m not home that sleep in my room at night. I work full time and am really easy going. I cook all my meals and clean up after myself as soon as I’m done. And I’m very relaxed and spend most nights watching Netflix or reading a book.
Hiii!! I’m currently in my first year of psychology and I’m looking for a cute little place for me and my cat! I’m mostly quiet and keep to myself but enjoy having a chat and a drink every now and then. I’m working part time at Bunnings so I can be sure to get you discounts on plants + more
We are 3 girls - Maddy (23), Kiah (22) and Mollie (22) looking for a like minded house mate to join us in our lovely home in Coorparoo (in between Camp Hill & Norman Park areas). We each study design, work part time, are quite social but enjoy our own time & share a love for plants, gigs, food, drinks & good music. Looking for someone who is considerate and chilled out but doesn’t mind a boogie on the weekends! Need someone who takes initiative in doing household chores!! Our home is a beautiful old queenslander with a verandah and back deck! Fully fenced with plenty of parking and close to everything! (Shops, transport, parks etc). Lovely white walls and timber floors, dishwasher, air con, fans, huge yard, veggie patch, big kitchen and heaps of natural light! It’s filled with groovy furniture and an abundance of plants! We also have 2 cats Wilma and Lenni. Your room is 3m x 3.6m (no built ins). Would love to hear from you :-)
Hi everyone! My name is Julia and I am from Belarus. I am an easy-going and friendly girl. I don't like mess and noise (party house is not for me). I would like to find a room for rent with friendly and nice housemates. I work full-time as an accountant and I also work as a hairdresser at home (few times a week). So I am looking for housemates who don't mind to see my customers sometimes at our place. I can consider any suburb not far away from the city.
I'm very clean and organised, looking for someone who is also. I love silence, but I love a good chat as well. I respect your space as I want to have mine too, but I don't live locked in my room. I like to socialise, talking, going out sometimes.. I'm from Brazil, 21 years old, Business student. I love to relax watching series! :)
I’m Caitlin! I’m a student nurse and work part time at Coles. I’m great to live with because I can keep to myself and have a chat whenever. I like to have my own things and will keep things neat and tidy. My dog is an old labradoodle who doesn’t cause any trouble and has a very loving nature.
35 year old male from Sydney. Lived in Brisbane since September 2017. Loving the QLD life! Working full time. Clean and tidy housemate, happy to socialise or just chill out in my own space. Looking for a place for at least the next 9 months but happy to stay longer if settled! Built in robes ideal.
