I will be moving to Brisbane for uni so I am looking for a private room in a share house. I am a quiet, clean, easy-going foodie who enjoys reading and a friendly chat now and then. I have a Japanese background but raised in Australia, so I am fluent in both languages.
I'm a psychology student at QUT, currently working in retail and disability. My weeks usually consist of study, work and competitive ultimate frisbee and I enjoy socialising on the weekends with friends and bevs when I'm not working. I'm quite a social person so am looking for housemate/s that would enjoy a good chat at the end of the day! But I'm also quite independent and respect that alone time as well. Would definitely prefer a more modern apartment/house over an older style. I have a cat named Ruby at the ripe age of 18 she keeps to herself mostly but always welcomes a good pat.
Hi all, Myself and Phil (https://flatmates.com.au/F2403740) are looking to move around 18-24 Jan 2019 and are looking for a 3rd person to start a lease together. We're looking within approx 5-8km of the CBD on the south side of the river i.e. Coorpooroo, Norman Park, East Brisbane etc I've got a fridge, sofabed/couch, bookshelf and a couple other shelves, but other than that, we'd need to get some furniture. Ideally we'd be looking at a house or townhouse with garaged parking and storage. I am very neat and tidy and prefer to live with people who clean up after themselves and have pride in their living space. I work as an Accountant, however am still studying and enjoy a variety of outdoor pursuits such as running, bushwalks, scuba diving etc. I'm well past the party stage, however happy to have some company and share a glass of wine / cheeseboard on occasion. If this sounds like someone you'd like to live with, please get in touch. Cheers!
**PLEASE NOTE MY APPROX. MOVING DATE - Jan 19th 2019** Hey new roomie! Myself and Roxane (link to her profile here)--> https://flatmates.com.au/F2072769 are looking for another person of similar age and maturity in the late 20's to mid 30's to team up with! Looking to move in somewhere that will tie me over for the next 6-12 months or so, Rox is looking at a minimum of 12mths, and we're both strong on sharing with someone who is of like mind and values - see below. I’m a fairly well rounded friendly guy, I have a keen interest in keeping fit & healthy, the outdoors/4WDing, reading and I don’t watch TV, pretty much ever.. - I work full time(days mostly) and am probably home on a 50:50 ish split between home and my girlfriends place. - Very respectful, and respectful of others’ space and privacy. - Love my quiet time and the ability to relax with a book on the couch. - The most reliable housemate you will likely ever have. I don’t miss bills or rent EVER. - I clean up after myself (without fail) and very conscious that I’m not the only person contributing to the energy bills! - NOT a party animal and have zero interest in a party house, or housemates that are entrenched in the drinking/smoking/drug culture. What I’m looking for in a place; - Undercover/garaged parking - Good amount of storage space - Ideally a low maintenance property as I don’t have much time for gardening, so a town house or house with a little to do in the garden would be great. - 2 bathrooms minimum - Air conditioning - No cats - ok with dogs so long as they’re not incessant barkers! I’m leaving a property with an exceedingly vocal dog as we speak 🙄 - Looking in the general area of Norman Park, Seven Hills, Camp Hill, Coorparoo, Carina Heights, Morningside. If you have anything else you’d like to know about me I’ll look forward to your message or call! 😄 Chat soon! Phil
My name is Olivia, I am looking for one or two people who would like to move in with my boyfriend and I next year around January. We have enough furniture to pretty much fill a house but obviously haven't found a place or the people to fill it :'D. We are both very clean and quiet but are quite adventurous in terms of going out and trying new things. We would love to team up with people to try and find a place together so all of our house/ apartment preferences are met. Also we are looking at getting a pet dog so if you're an animal person even better! Let us know what you think :)
I'm a gamer and a night owl, I tend to keep to myself and try to keep pretty clean. I'll often be up all night in my room playing games or watching shows. I dont like to leave messes for other people to take care of. I work a part time week to week roster in fast food so I go out to work rather randomly, I don't tend to have guests or parties. I like cats and dogs but dont have any.
Hi! My name is Olivia and I’m starting as a registered Nurse at South Brisbane in early February. I am looking for another Individual/group to move in with. At the moment I am still living at home with my parents and the trip to Brisbane is around an an hour, so moving as I want to move a bit closer to work. Im pretty easy going, l enjoy hanging out with people but love my own space sometimes aswell! I enjoy having a drink every now and then but also need a housemate who respects when I need a quiet house after night shift. Preferably want my own en-suite! Please feel free to reach out and I’m happy to answer any questions! :)
Hi, I'm a cheerful, positive and chill person. I love clean and respect flatmate. I have sharing room and house experiences for many years. I was a nurse before, but now, I'm undertaking the postgraduate degree at QUT (KG campus) and have a nanny job so I'm quite busy and need more personal space. That’s why I’m looking for a private room not a sharing room. If you have a comfy, nice and clean accommodation, please feel free to contact me.
Hey guys! I'm currently entering my fourth and final year of full-time study (Dual bachelor of Business/Creative Industries at QUT) working part-time in retail and completing an internship. Looking to move closer to uni into a shared house in December! I'm easy going, keen to make friends, would love to live in a sociable environment where we can have a chat or hang out occasionally. But also love my own quiet space to relax and recharge in-between. In return I'll be respectful of your space. Usually pretty busy with study and work but every now and then I like to have fun and go out to gigs/festivals/have some drinks/outdoor activities/anything involving food etc. I have a 15-year-old childhood pet Missy the border collie who I'd ideally love to bring with me (she's usually an outdoor dog, very chill and sleeps a lot) so moving in with some dog lovers would be great, she will want your pats If you want to know any more just ask!
I am a very clean and tidy person and I respect other people's privacy and I expect the same in return. I am easy going and down to earth and friendly and I am very honest and trustworthy and reliable. I always clean up after myself and pay my rent on time. I like making new friends and having a social drink once in a while. I enjoy the outdoors and gardening. I am LGBT+ friendly and I am looking to rent a room From someone who likes having fun with guys .If you want to know more about me just message me and ask.
Hi there. Pearson and I are looking to move in as a couple and would also like to share this with another couple or individual. A bit about us. Pearson is 23 and works full time near the port of Brisbane. I have recently graduated from university as a teacher and will be working in Camp Hill in January. We very much enjoy the outdoors including camping, fishing or sport. Often enjoy heading out or hanging out for some social bevs and just like many others we also enjoy some time to ourselves. Our living location is flexible however needs to be reasonable distance to travel to work.
Hi there! I'm 23, easy going, independent and an accountant in the CBD. Looking to rent with other like minded females. Currently my sister (20yo) and I are looking to move somewhere close to the city however a few things to give you a heads up: - My sister has a small Kelpie cross dog so we need a house with a yard, his name is Leo. - I have a cat, she's super cute and nice, her name is Tonks. - I want to stay on the south side of the city - I would prefer the master room with an ensuite and am happy to pay a bit extra for it - Our current lease is up at the end of Jan (around the 27th) so we will need to move by then but not too much earlier before. So if you're fine with all that or have any questions please feel free to message me to discuss :)
Hey, I'm Michelle! I'm a 23 year-old moving from Melbourne to Brisbane mid-Jan for post-grad medicine at UQ and I work part-time in hospitality. I have to many interests to list, but in my spare time I like to get as far away from study as possible. I enjoy going on adventures, such as camping and trips to the beach, and I love anything creative, like cooking/baking, art and crafting, and I always have a few projects on the go. I'm new to Brisbane, so ideally I'm looking for housemates to become a family. I'm super easy-going and get along with almost everyone I meet. I don't mind the occasional party but in general prefer a quiet night with friends. Bonus: I procrastinate study by cleaning, so you can expect a super neat house for most of the year! In terms of moving in, I'm a little flexible with dates but need a place by Jan 28th at the latest. I don't have a lot in terms of furniture yet, but am happy to contribute if anything is needed.
I have a bubbly personality, love cooking and I try do something every weekend. I am neat and tidy, I also like having time to myself as well. I work in Capalaba, as an admin for a Certifier company.
HI There, my name is Rachel, I am friendly, clean and respectful of other peoples belongings and space. I work full time in Finance, and like to spend my weekends socialising and out and about. Always happy to have a chat or share a meal, but also mindful that everyone needs their space. :)
I’m very easy going, tidy and easy to get on with. I love meeting new people and learning new things. I keep to myself but enjoy roommate/family nights that involve platters, movies, games and of course wine haha. Im currently a Social Work student at UQ, and work part time in retail. I love people, adventures, chats over tea and coffee, chocolate, yoga, drawing/art, and finding new and cool places. I’m looking for easy going, nice roommates who are always up for a chat but also respect boundaries and cleanliness. Oh and I’m also vegetarian haha xx
I need a room for 3 nights a week from Mon-Thurs as I work as a lawyer in the city and live in Noosa. I need a place to leave my car for the week as I will ride or public transport. I need a comfortable bed and am here to work, so not a party guy. I surf, mountain bike, gym, swim and am fit for my age..Easy going and self sufficient.
I am looking for a new flat-share in Brisbane, and have been living in a flat-share for the last 5 years however our current house is breaking up due to some new job opportunities. I am easy-going and would love a housemate/s that are up for hanging out, drinking some wine and watching movies. I work full time currently and am starting a graduate lawyer role in late-Feb so was hoping to move in somewhere before then but am flexible on dates. I am pretty keen on having my own bathroom/ensuite also and of course will be willing to pay more to have that. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
I’m a second year university student studying music and I also work part time. Generally for fun I hang at home and paint or watch Netflix or go out and watch gigs. I have a pug named Brûlée who is 5. He’s super friendly and incredibly well behaved (toilet trained, doesn’t bark etc). Looking for a room that’s preferably under $180 and the property needs to be fenced and pet friendly :-) looking in the Holland Park/Greenslopes/Coorparoo area. If you have something suitable, please contact me!
I am very clean and friendly, great to get along with and don't mind having a chat over dinner occasionally :) I am looking for the perfect place that I can feel at home and comfortable living with people similar to myself! I prefer a quiet household rather than a party house, as I like to focus on my studies. I study at QUT around 3 days per week and have 2 jobs - one in the valley and one at garden city - which I work Friday nights, Saturdays & nights, and Sundays. I rely on public transport when I'm not borrowing my aunties car, therefore I am looking for somewhere which has a bus stop only 5 minutes walk away and only takes maximum 15 minutes to get to the city - preferably somewhere close to the north/southeast busway. If your listing includes a room with a LARGE wardrobe and drawers or built-in wardrobe, a double bed, ceiling fan (or just aircon) and is priced no more than $185/week INCLUDING ALL UTILITIES/BILLS + INTERNET; PLEASE MESSAGE ME!!! THANKS :)
I have a fun and outgoing bubbly personality that just allows me to easily fit in wherever I go. I am very respectful of people and also kept to myself. I love cooking although I work so much that I barely even get the time to cook. I’m looking for a place to call home
I'm 22 years old and currently work casually as an Enrolled Nurse whilst studying towards my Registered Nursing degree at QUT. I'm a quiet but friendly individual. I'm tidy and will help out with house work when needed. I love to play xbox and watch Netflix. I have a 6 year old dog - he's a mini poodle x bichon frise - who gets along well with both dogs and cats. He's very much more of a people dog though and will suck up to you whenever he can. This will be my first time moving out of my parents house so it is quite daunting for me. I would prefer to live with mostly - or all - females.
