Hi there! I'm moving to Melbourne to study design at Swinburne (Hawthorn) in February 2018 so I've started looking for a place to call home and lovely people to share it with! Something close to uni or close to a station that takes me to uni would be perfect :D As a flatmate, I'm sociable and friendly so I'd love a meal together and/or a post-work/uni chat but I'll totally understand when you need your own space. I'm also tidy and good with paying rent on time and can bake an earth-shatteringly good batch of blondies. I'm happy to do my share of chores and I'm cool with pets and parties, too! And as a person; I love Frank Ocean, Nigella Lawson, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (look I promise I only *enjoy* the show and I'm not as depraved as the gang. Okay maybe sometimes I am. Desperate times.) My recent YouTube searches include RIP Vine compilations and Buzzfeed Unsolved, so make of that what you will. Basically I'm always up for a good laugh, good food, and terrifyingly gruesome murders. If any of this sounds like your thing, hit me up! :D
Looking for share accommodation early to mid December, also open to getting a lease together for a new place if we are suited. My intentions are long term, not looking to move around. I work full time in the CBD. Quiet, clean, respectful, I occasionally go out for drinks/dinner on the weekends, gym, and travel to Queensland a few times a year to visit family. I'm easy going and upfront, not fussed with politics, as long as you have respect for me as I will for you I'm happy. If you think we would be a good match or I would fit well into your household please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you, Bianca
Have lived out of home for 7 years, easy to get along with. Prefer a house where housemates can hang out together a bit. I'm clean, friendly and helpful.
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a room near Hawthorn- flexible with length of stay/suburbs, but please- don't offer unless the move-in date is January, i've had like 50 messages recently for places that need to be taken asap and I can't do that haha I don't really mind who you are or what things you like doing, the only traits i'm really looking for are people who are laidback, open-minded and considerate of personal boundaries like privacy and comfort zones- if we get along well, nothing else is a concern for me. ...and punctuality with rent/housekeeping, but I suppose that's a given. 😌 I'd like to establish a cosy home atmosphere where everyone can feel genuinely "at home" and not just staying somewhere, and where there's no constant pressure to socialize but the opportunity is always there- it'd be great to live with people who can give you space but also have a good chat with. I love doing things that involve film, music, games and outings such as live events- and especially love it when there's other people to do it with, so flatmates who'd like to do those things are a bonus. If those things aren't really your cup of tea, i'm also open to new things and don't really drag people into my personal hobbies anyway. I don't care if you're alternative, sporty, artsy, introvert or extrovert, it's all totally fine- anyone that's kind and open-minded is good in my books. :) If you think we might get along, send me a message so we can chat- and possibly make plans if we do get along well. :) (Oh, if you're worried about my age and capacity for living independently- i've already adjusted to adult life so i'm fine in that regard, not a big spender.) I also have an excellent rental history that I can provide references for upon request.
I clean up after myself and I usually keep to myself but don’t have a problem making conversation. I will be studying full-time and working part time/casual. I’m looking for a small place preferably without housemates.
Hi, I am an outgoing and easy-going girl who currently working part time. I like hanging out with friends for a healthy meal or going camping, hiking....I like going to gym and cooking as well.
We're returning from living in Switzerland in February 2018 - looking for a place that could become available around then. Dylan is a social worker originally from Adelaide and Ezgi is studying a Masters in Construction Management at Melbourne Uni. We're both pretty easy going - enjoy our own space, but also enjoy a casual drink. Dylan loves cooking and we love good food. We enjoy travelling, weekends away camping and both volunteer as Scout leaders in our spare time. By the way, the dog in the picture isn't ours!
I'm an Anthropology student at Deakin also studying Korean at Monash and I'll be graduating in May next year. I also work part-time at a supermarket (That means free out-of-date food, yay!). I like to be social and have a drink or two, but I'm also happy to have alone time. I study a lot and I work a lot, but I also like to go out drinking and would like to be able to have a friend over on the odd occasion (by no means a party animal, though). I'm respectful and tidy and I can get along with anyone. If there's anything more you'd like to know just send me a message!
We're a friendly couple who loves to have laid back weekends to unwind for the coming week. Kuven's a musician and Monisha loves cooking. Having a clean and tidy home environment is very important to us.
I'm neat and clean and pay rent/bills on time. I'm not noisy and I can keep to myself. However I also enjoy having chats with others and hanging out. I currently work in the city and have uni in the city as well so I would like to live closer to the CBD. Amy.
Clean, reliable and quiet, great sense of humor, always happy to help. Very handy around the house. I run my own successful business in the East. I like to have fun and am open minded about most things, but I’m not a Party Animal, Sorry! I love movies, the out doors and good conversation, I like hanging out with family and friends and love to spend time with my daughters and granddaughter. I was born and bred in Melbourne.
Hey! I m 20 years old, seriously easy person to get along with, comfortable around all kinds of people/communities and i pride myself on being an extremely happy, upbeat and friendly person. I am quite interested in live music and a chilled social scene so i would prefer to share accommodation with like minded people however i don't mind making compromises in terms of house rules and the environment that people would care to live in. Currently seeking temporary housing whilst taking a year off between studying before heading overseas for a little while. I work 2 jobs, 1 casual and 1 part-time so i probably wouldn't be around the house a whole deal and i have a somewhat reliable income. Rest assured i understand the necessity for personal space whilst i also enjoy lots of company/ socializing all days of the week so i wont shy away from "me" time but i'll be keen for a wine (or 5) if you want drinking company! I am studying nutrition so i am very interested in a healthy lifestyle and i adore animals so i am open to any accommodation that has pre-existing animals (also i am vegan but will respect everyone beliefs and opinions). My hobbies include surfing (when i can), hockey, gym and live music. I consider myself a somewhat tidy person but i am not super strict so people who are like-minded in terms of cleanliness would be ideal however i am of course open to changing this. i would prefer to move around late feb/early march but if the right opportunity comes along then i am open to moving sooner. LGBT friendly, happy to share housing with smokers but would prefer not to. Im not really great with bios/ telling people about myself and what im looking for so feel free to message me with any questions about me or what i maybe be looking for! cheers :)
Hi, I'm a newly graduated professional. I am clean and tidy and enjoy cooking & socialising over food :) looking to live with other professionals in a furnished unit with a carpark until i find a permanent place in Melbourne
Hi, I'm Elisabeth. I'm a fairly quiet housemate, whow likes a balance of socializing with housemates and seeking time on my own. This is partly my nature, but also partly because I work in community mental health and find that I need time alone to relax. When hanging with housemates I enjoy a good chat, watching a movie or favourite tv show, even play a game of monopoly or cards. I love to potter around at home, and occasionally have friends around for dinner or to watch a movie. I reliably clean up after myself, and do my share of household chores (and although I love gardens, in all honesty I'm not a reliable gardener myself!). Paying rent and bills on time is easy with auto pay! I'm a non-smoker, and living with those who do smoke - even outside - would not work for me. I'm also a vegetarian, and try to eat healthy whole foods (I don't always succeed!) I don't drink alcohol or use drugs, but I don't object to housemates who enjoy a quiet drink or two. I'm looking for somewhere that has a sense of community and home about it, and housemates who become genuine friends and feel like family. I've selected 6 months, but would love to find somewhere that's a good fit for longer term. I'd be interested to meet and talk to people who are interested in a team up with the same sense of community, home and family. I love animals, but don't have any of my own. Though if provoked, I might just get a cat...or two :)
Originally from Canberra, currently reside in Carlton North. Seeking an unfurnished room in the the inner northern or eastern suburbs for move in September. Full time Project Manager working in the far Eastern suburbs. Enjoy making tunes and spinning decks in my spare time, as well as hitting the gym and playing bball. Keen to join a household that's up for occasional hangouts or shared meals. I'm easy going, open minded and considerate. Looking for a home with house mates, not just a house with strangers.
Hi, My name is Paolo. I'm an Architect and I work full time for a building construction group. I describe myself as tidy, clean, respectful and easygoing. I'm looking for a long term stay (4 months to over a year) on a single room in a shared house in the north and east suburbs of Melbourne (Clifton Hill - Thornbury - Northcote - Preston - Ivanhoe - Kew - Hawthorn - Balwyn - Camberwell - Surrey Hills) or nearby. I look forward to hearing from You. References available upon request. Paolo
Hi, my name is Donna and I will be moving to Melbourne December 14. I'm very easy going and enjoy socialising with anybody. I have friends of all ages. I'm a tidy person but not obsessively so. I'm currently working in disability but am looking for work with special needs children. I returned from Vietnam 1 year ago after teaching English there for 3 years. I originally went for 2 months but didn't want to leave. I love travel, animals, socialising, Richmond FC, meeting new people, and learning new things. I may be 57 years old but I have a young attitude and easily mix with people of all ages. I would be very happy if there are pets in my new home as I will miss the 2 beautiful Boxer dogs where I am living now. Richmond area is my first priority, being a keen supporter and also close to all the great Vietnamese food, but other areas are ok too.
Hey! I'm an animal loving student, I work 2 part-time jobs and I also love to ski. I'm super clean and organised, and I love having fun with friends on the weekend. I have lived out of home for 4 years so I really know how to be considerate and cooperative in a share house :)
Returning home to Melbourne from Brisbane. Looking for a quiet place for 3 weeks but could be longer. I'm tidy, respectful of other people's space and responsible. Prefer own bathroom and only sharing with 1 other person.
Hi would be great to live with because I'm a private person yet also like a good chat and can be sociable. I have a dog if you're a dog lover it's a bonus for u! I'm quiet and don't party but hey I do like to stay up and watch movies! Anybody want us please contact me. I'm seriously needing somewhere within a week because of my current housing situation calling for it. You can also call or txt me
Recently finished a Bachelor of Business and moving to Melbourne in the new year for a new job. I have lived in a share house before and I am really easy going and tidy. Being new to the city, it would be great to find housemates who are social but I am also happy to keep to myself and can respect personal space. Love a few wines and a cheese platter and looking forward to exploring Melbourne. Very low maintenance housemate and can keep to myself when needed.
Hi all, Im a 22 year old registered nurse, I'm a shift worker, working a rotating roster. Rarely on nights, very considerate when getting up at odd times and aware the sucky schedule doesn't suit all. So ideally other nurses/healthcare professionals or shift workers may work better :) Outside of work, i love keeping fit and enjoy the gym as a little outlet, always keen for a spontaneous trip away and love cheap adventures. Love travel, so super interested to hear stories if thats what your into as well. I love a social glass of wine occasionally, but I'm not a big drinker and not interested in party house. Im looking for a home where we can be social, but also respect each others personal space. Lover of dogs, allergic to cats :( Happy to answer any questions thrown my way Hola if your interested in a team up. J
I am working in Kew doing a dental assistant traineeship, I am from Mansfield Vic and currently living in South Morang, but would like to move closer for work. I am social and enjoy having a chat but also like my privacy. I like to snowboard in winter, enjoy getting out of the house and easy to get along with.
