Recently moved back home to Melbourne from interstate and looking to study at Swinburne next year but with some firm foundations before I jump back into studying again. I love meeting people, a quiet drink every now and again and a solid round of cards against humanity. Meeting people of all ages and walks of life is one of my favourite things so not too fussy on these things when it comes to my house mates! Moved out with my ex boyfriend so have all the kitchen essentials and towels and things like that. Perhaps looking for another female to find a nice apartment to share near uni?
Female 45 years old with own business working from home (online). looking for accommodation preferably either on my own or with one other person. 6 months or more, preferred. A small secure yard is preferable as I have an 11 year old, mature miniature (toy) poodle that does not shed. She is intelligent, friendly, house trained and greets people as they return home, with an infectious smile. I adapt to my environment, keeping to myself whilst working and happy to have conversation over a meal, single malt, or glass of wine. I am flexible with peoples work hours and am accustomed to shift worker's schedules.
I'm an Adelaidian philosophy student, I'm moving for study at Deakin. My move date is early July. I have a cat here in Adelaide, Mademoiselle Violet, she may or may not deign to move to your fair city. I'm so far a non-smoker, and generally tidy. I love buying flowers even when I can't afford them. I can cook. One of my favourite things to do is watch films, anther is maybe to drink a little red wine and another might be having a nap in the garden (if you have one). I really want to find a place ((soon)) so I can stop stressing and focus on exams...
Hi. I'm currently living in a share house on the Mornington peninsula and looking to move closer to the city to be closer to family and friends. I am a young 60 year old who is fit, healthy and generally a happy person. I'm a semi retired qualified accountant who likes to travel domestically and overseas. I am honest and trustworthy, reliable, neat and tidy, have good manners, well organised and respectful of others. I am financially secure. I have a motorcycle for which I will need off street undercover parking - garage or carport will suffice. Other than that I am an easy going guy who is good to be around.
Hey, I'm Nick recently moved over from Perth, looking to move into a share house or split a 2-3 bed house/apartment with someone. I'm working full time as an apprentice mechanic in Camberwell I clean up after myself and like to keep things tidy but not ocd about it always down to hangout, share a meal or drinks, but do respect your space my hobbies are skating, riding, adventuring and exploring, and i often find myself going for drives to nowhere and seeing where i end up Most would say I'm pretty laid back, easy going and open minded. If you want to know more about me or meet up for a coffee and see how we get along feel free to message me
I am a tidy Canadian teacher, moving to Melb to teach and travel. I am responsible. Non smoker. I am looking for a flatmate that is also a nonsmoker. No pets (cat allergies). I like to play rec sports and workout, cook, volunteer with Rotary,
Hi there! My name is Matthew and I am a young professional relocating from Adelaide to Melbourne to commence my post graduate studies and work. I'm a very friendly and respectful person which makes me fairly easy to get along with. I've got more than 5 years of share-housing experience under my belt so I am very familiar with the dynamics of sharing a space with others. I'm caring and considerate of others and I'm reliable and punctual with my payments. My past flatmates have all considered me to be quite neat as I look after my space and all that around me. Moving to a new big city some of the things I'm looking forward to most is meeting new people and exploring all the city has to offer; visiting bars & restaurants, seeing gigs, going to sporting events etc I live quite an active lifestyle in that I participate in a lot of outdoor activities ranging from rock climbing - snowboarding - soccer I'm sure there is lots that I have missed but if you wish to know anything more about me please don't hesitate to ask :)
Hey guys! Currently putting the feelers out for a new place to live! I'm originally from country New South Wales, having moved to Melbourne in May 2016 to chase some bigger career opportunities. I currently work in the health industry and am thinking about going back to study, not entirely sure yet! I'm a very laid back guy, not much phases me. I enjoy the footy, adventuring and exploring my new surroundings, reading, the occasional netflix binge, gaming, gymming, and hitting the town for a drink or fourteen. My work schedule is Sunday to Thursday at this stage, just your standard 9 to 5 deal. Flick me a message if you would like to know more or to organise a catch up! Cheers! Ryan.
Hi! My name is Emma. I'm 26 years old and I'm a High School English Teacher looking for a team up. I've got permanent employment, basically an entire houses' worth of furniture, so all you'd need to bring is things for your own room (and maybe a dining table - thats the one thing I don't have) A little bit more about me: I am an introvert, though I am working on pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. I'm a massive nerd, and I have the following consoles which I am happy to share: SNES, WiiU, Switch, Xbox 360. Plus I am looking to get a Wii to play my extensive collection of Gamecube games and a PS4 to play the games I have of those too. I have a lot of books, and enjoy reading. My other hobbies include board games, table top games (DnD and the like), Movies and TV. I also have a pet cat, who's name is Snooker. She's a 4 year old Domestic Short Hair, all black with a little white splash. She loves napping, eating, and being petted then smacking your arm away for little to no reason. She's quite a social, vocal cat. You can pick her up, but she won't always like that, and you'll be covered in black fur if you do. I would be commuting to Macleod every day, leaving nice and early in the morning (7am) and not returning until the evening (past 5:30pm) so I will need somewhere to park my car. I won't be ready to move until school holidays which is starting from the 30th of June, so we would have lots of time to get to know each other. My ideal housemate is someone who is nice, clean, with stable employment too. I wouldn't mind someone I click with as friends and can hang out with occasionally, though would also be ok with doing their own things at times. I don't mind about gender, provided you're a decent, kind person. LGTBTI+ very welcome to message too! I enjoy cooking, mostly breakfast foods. I do like meal planning my week, but I wouldn't mind someone who would like to share meals from time to time. I'm also partial to the occasional drink, though I wouldn't like living with someone who wants to have people constantly over and for parties. That's just not me. I'm more of a low-key hangout person, and I'd like someone who's similar in that respect. People who enjoy bad puns would be more than welcome. If you don't enjoy bad puns and lame jokes... I might not be the house mate for you.
Peaceful, pays rent on time, house trained :) I am moving to Melbourne on the 7th of July. Im a pretty easy going person and looking for a home to live in - not a party house. Im at that age where I appreciate nice wine and good cheese. I need a place that is fully furnished.
Hey everyone, I'm a 24 year old female looking for a long/short term house, that I can make my home, not just a crash pad. I have just finished off studying my Diploma of Early childhood education, and I work as a nanny, so I’m ready to move out of the nest! I enjoy getting outside, camping, hiking, as well as sitting inside with a cuppa and a good book. My favourite time of day is brunch :) I love photography, and I’m just about to start a short course in photography. I spend a few nights of the week playing basketball, and love going to see live music, as well as catching up with friends for dinner/drinks (I'm not a party animal on that regard, and not looking for a party house). More looking for a house where I feel safe, comfortable and I can be myself. I like to keep tidy, and will put in effort to clean the house. I’m absolutely down for regular house meals, and definitely keen for lots of house fun like dinner parties, chill drinks and movie nights.
I am clean, tidy, relaxed, respectful and outgoing! An international student finishing up her Master's course and am keen on staying in Melbourne for work. I am not much of a party go-er but do enjoy staying quiet nights in when I am not at school or the gym.
im a tradie, I work full time, some saturdays. I’m easy going, respectful of privacy, I enjoy a drink and get along with most people.
I am reliable, quiet and discreet. I speak several languages. I've worked as a Canberra based public servant, and subsequently moved to Melbourne and worked as a consultant and counsellor. I am a grandfather who spends a fair amount of time with children and grandkids. Not keen on a party share house, or pets.
I'm a young professional athlete (squash player) and personal trainer. I've lived in plenty of share houses and am a very respectful housemate. I'm away a fair bit for tournaments or I'm often out most of the day for work and training. Love a good bevy when the time is right! Clean and tidy, will always respect personal space too. Lease has just run out on my last place, looking for somewhere close enough to Fitzroy & the City for work :)
Hey guys, my name is Kimberley and I'm interested in joining someone on a lease to get an apartment! I have eyes on a few apartments, hit me up if you're interested in that! I'm a full-time computer science student, part-time pool lifeguard. (If you ever need cpr, I got yo back) I enjoy cooking, binge watching new tv series and making new friends. I am very self-aware and pick up after myself. I can be your friend or simply just your housemate. All I ask is that we could be friendly faces around the house and not having to be hesitant when leaving the room. Although having a friend to go for brunch with sounds awesome, I can total respect your wishes! :) Also, I am looking to live with someone who is okay with my bf staying over part of the week as we alternate places. We are likeminded people so definitely no drama there. :)
Hi, I’m Nicola and Im currently looking for a room to rent long term in the inner eastern suburbs. Apart from a short stint living in the south of France I have always lived in the area. Im currently taking a break from career work in Human Resources and have a more leisurely lifestyle. I mixed between being at the house beating to along day trips during the week. My weekends look much the same. Im a very relaxed person who rarely complains. I like to find harmony in the house and it’s dynamics's. Living with relaxed and friendly people it very important to me. If you have any further question please don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks Nicola .
A couple looking to teamup with probably another similar couple. I work in Kew at a Real Estate, so should have no problem in finding a place, but whilst trying to save it can be hard to find an afforable rental property. My partner, Tom works in the construction industry. Recently have moved from Ballarat & are trying to settle in the area. I do also have a pet cat, she is 10 years old & is gorgeous. She is very well trained & has lived in many houses with me & never been a problem. Tom & I are a friendly & happy couple. We work 5-6 days per week, & like to have a quiet drink, cook & keep a tidy house. Looking around the Kew location, but open to places like Brunswick, Fitzroy & anything pretty close really. PLease get in contact with me if you'd like to know more. :)
Hey I'm Trav, I'm 27 years old, work full time. Play footy and cricket and love my sports. I'm generally a tidy person without be OCD. Love to sit around and have a chat or watch some Netflix but also acknowledge people wanting some private time and enjoy that as well. On weekends I'm fairly busy with sport but will be up for chilling out at home or heading out for a quiet drink. I love watching movies and enjoy a good Netflix binge.
Hello, I'm Kamara, I work a a Hospital. I'm looking for at least a 6 month length place to stay around the Eastern suburbs with people around my age, 24-28. I am after an unfurnished room, friendly housemates who also respect space. Bit about me: I am friendly, easy to get along with, generally tidy and clean up after myself and would expect the same of others. Socially, I'm usually up for a chat or hang out, but if you're someone who keeps to yourself that's okay with me too. I prefer a non party house as it's nice to unwind from a long shift at a peaceful home but I enjoy occasional evening dinner/movie nights with friends at home. I also lead a semi-active lifestyle and go bike riding or for walks. If I sound like a good fit for you, please reach out, cheers :)
Hey, I'm from Germany and I work in Melbourne until the end of September. I work full-time. On the weekends I love to go on trips exploring Melbourne and its surroundings.
Hey fellow flatmate searches :) I'm 25 and work full time in Fitzroy in the mental health and AOD sector. I'm looking at moving to the Eastern region so I can be closer to my boyfriend (Canterbury) and sister (Lilydale). I love food, animals, catching up with friends for a drink/dinner/live band, coking, indoor plants, sleeping, summer, and days off! As a house mate you'd find I rarely have serious conversations outside of work and tend to use sarcasm and banter 90% of the time. Over my last 4 years of living in share houses i've came to discover that I'm a lot cleaner and tidy than the average person. I actually really enjoy cleaning haha I'm only home half of the time as i'm often at my boyfriends or visiting family... or hibernating haha. My boyfriend may stay over once a week. He is respectful and very well mannered... I trained him well ;). I only have bedroom furniture so I won't be filling up your house with excess stuff and i'll be sure to respect your stuff as if it were my own :) So the only baggage I come with is that I really want a dog. Mine past away of old age a little while ago now and i'm ready for another savings vampire :D.. It would be a small adopted/rescue dog that would definitely be toilet trained. If i was ever away it would either come with me or stay at my parents and of course i would clean up after it in the backyard. It most likely wouldn't be a puppy so you wouldn't have to worry about any damage to your shoes etc. I know that not everyones a dog lover like my self so I would work really hard to compromise with my house mate to ensure they were comfortable and not bothered at all with the k9 sitch. PS I hope you like candles.
