I work full time in the city and looking for a share house which I can call home. My two main interests are cooking and ten-pin bowling, and I don't mind going out for a meal or a couple of drinks every now and then, however I am also respectful of personal space and the cleanliness of common areas so I don't mind doing some of the housework. I dont like feeling like a stranger in my own home so I at least want to meet one of the people I could be living with. Move date is 7th - 10th June but can be a bit earlier .
A french biomedical engineering student working for 2 months in Gladesvilles. I love hiking, Japanese animation, traveling and I'm very excited to discover Sydney and around ! I'm looking for a flat to stay during my internship : I like meeting new people and sharing experience but I also like to have a calme et clean place to rest after work :)
Hi, My name is Bea and I am a 22 year old Law student currently in my final year at Macquarie University. I work full-time in the City from 8:30-5:30 and attend uni one day a week so I’m often out of the house. My job is a permanent position and I have a stable income. I expect to graduate in March next year so am after a 6-month lease, or potentially longer where possible. My current accommodation ends on the 8th June so a date close to then or a week or so later would be preferable. I would prefer suburbs within 40 minutes of the CBD and reasonably accessible to Macquarie University. Reasonable distance to a train station/bus and gym/pool would be ideal too. I currently pay $300 p/w and am not looking for anything over that. I’m a quiet, clean and sociable person and have lived in shared accommodation for the last four years so I am used to respecting other people’s personal space and property. I love catching up for a chat but am often busy with work/uni, so you’d likely only see me before after work a few times a week unless we plan house dinners/you’d like the company. My boyfriend, Toby, would likely come over a couple of times a week (usually only two nights max) to cook dinner and is more than happy to meet you beforehand so you can see how lovely he is too. I am an avid baker, so housemates with a sweet tooth are preferable (and I am more than keen to accommodate vegan, paleo etc diets for a challenge) – otherwise I’d have to eat everything myself and that doesn’t work with my fitness goals! Toby and I also love cooking Thai dishes and would be happy to share our delicious creations with the right people. I gym/swim in the morning before work most days and would love someone who could bully help me to stay on track, but I’m flexible with before/after work if you’d like a gym buddy. I also play social soccer, indoor rock climb/boulder once a week and enjoy doing the Bondi-Coogee/Bayrun walks on weekends so I’m often out and about, especially making the most of my weekends with my limited free time. Again, more than happy for people to join as we love bringing new people climbing and could definitely use the help of more experienced climbers. I’d love housemates with similar interests in cooking/fitness, but if you aren’t super keen on the above but think you could live with someone who is, feel free to let me know anyway! I’m quiet and friendly and easy to live with and I’m just looking for the right place and great people. The entirety of the furniture I own is in the picture (my mattress) so I’m pretty flexible with arrangements (but I do love my bed). Really, I’m not too fussy and just feel like I’ll know the right people/place when I see them. If you think that could be you, please send me a message and I’ll get back to you. Bea x
Hey there! I'm 20 years old, working retail in the city and studying law at MQU. Have lived out of home for a while, so I'm use to rent obligations, living with housemates etc. but just looking for a new place as our lease is finishing up. Ideally looking for something close to the city but also close to uni, and pretty flexible with everything else :)
Visiting Sydney to work as an auditor for 6 months with hopefully free weekend time to try and see as much as I can. Enjoy a few beers at the weekend or going to bars, but to try to keep fit and in shape as well! I do enjoy the occasional netflix binge at weekends but prefer doing something productive! I'm happy to contribute to a clean household and will be respectful of those who want their privacy, but equally I like to be social with those who want it. Ideally I would share with another professional (i.e. standard working hours) who doesn't want to live like a student.
Hi there, how is it going? I am in Sydney and looking for a flat. I am on my working holiday visa but looking for a private small room of my own to settle down a little bit so as to know sydney and my neighborhood better. If you have something please let me know, thanks.
