Hi I am a full time employee, working Monday to Friday in the city. I am pretty busy at work so liked to keep to myself when at home, although wouldn't mind having a friendly chat sometimes. I am an early bird(go to the gym at 5am before work and go to sleep fairly early) Ideally looking for a studio or granny flat within my budget but can share a house with same-minded people(clean, tidy, quiet, etc.)
Started a new job as an engineer in brisbane. Currently in the GC and looking to move closer to work. I usually start at around 6am and often have long days so ideally flatmates who are considerate in this regard. I like to make the most of my free time and enjoy going out on the weekends but also sometimes need quiet time during the week. I try to gym regularly too. I am a fairly neat and tidy person but not a neat freak. I use a good amount of internet for both entertainment and work so unrestricted internet is a must as well. Stay length is for 3 months while I'm on probation but the intention is to stay long term if everything works out. Looking only for flatmates who are around my age (20's).
Hi everyone! My name is Julia and I am from Belarus. I am an easy-going and friendly girl. I don't like mess and noise (party house is not for me). I would like to find a room for rent with friendly and nice housemates. I work full-time as an accountant and I also work as a hairdresser at home (few times a week). So I am looking for housemates who don't mind to see my customers sometimes at our place. I can consider any suburb not far away from the city.
Hi! I’m a 28-year-old primary school teacher who is super clean and tidy, and a bit of a nana on school nights! On the weekend I go to Bikram yoga and the occasional live music gig. Other than that I love to go out for brunch and meal prep healthy snacks! I’m looking for somewhere that isn’t a party house, and someone that is pretty chilled out as well! I would prefer to live with one other person and have my own bathroom.
Looking for fun people to live and become friends with. I'm friendly, love a good chat, like to get out and about playing sports etc but also really enjoy chilling at home on the couch with a glass of wine. I hate cooking, but I promise I am a huge pile of fun! Ideally I'm looking for a place with two or three other flatmates. Ive just got home from 3 years traveling so Im looking for something nice. And I also need to make new friends. Keen to start a new house with like-minded people.
I'm easy to get along with, but respectful of others space, work full time and clean and tidy, non smoker, likes the occasional wine. I do have a small dog (non shedding) I am looking for a room for approx 5-6months.
Hi we are looking for a new place as our current place has become unavailable for a new lease and our flat mates are moving interstate. Ideally we need our own bathroom and a large room to live and sleep in. I have a small well trained dog that is never left at home alone. My partner is from Thailand and I am Australian. I am a self employed landscaper and I spend most of my time working. Sometimes I have to work from home so a room big enough for a desk is desirable. I am well educated and I can’t live with people who regularly drink alcohol or use drugs. Sometimes I have a few beers but not often. I’d like to live with people who are well educated and see things how it is. Must have a sense of humour. Must have a job and no pathetic money problems. (I don’t want to live with people that have to steal other people’s food or steal minor stuff to hok on eBay etc.) My girlfriend can cook excellent Thai food and we will share when we can. I have land and a container from which I store all my tools and work materials. I also have all my “other” stuff in a container at storage facility. Therefore I travel light, ie I only need to bring minimal things to the room. (Bed, desk, clothes, gas Weber (optional), esky, bar fridge (optional) , girlfriend, dog and kitchen sink.) I have a classic car which I could store at my land but a secure shed/garage would be ideal. I need a secure place (outdoor is ok) to park my Ute as it usually has loose tools in the tray. Sometimes I bring my trailer home so room to park and turn around with a trailer would be convienient. I need flexibility to be able to move out anytime, no contracts or hefty deposits. I try to pay rent well in advance. I need this flexibility because I don’t want to move in to a place and then find there is drug/alcohol problems or undesirable visitors or other problems and then loose the deposit because I move out in a short time. I have a small well trained dog that comes to work with me during the week and often stays at my mother’s house on weekends. A room with outdoor access would be good. We return to Thailand several times per year. So Every few months we are gone for a month. I don’t steal or lie, I don’t have undesirable visitors. I pay rent ahead or on time.
mature professional artist clean and tidy ,I work 6-7 days a week so when at home I like to just chill and keep to myself I am always up for a chat and dinner though,.looking for like minded professionals to live with for a good stay so I can really dig into my work ,I like a stress free clean and safe environment to live in and come home to I am not much of a drinker but will share a glass of wine or a beer with you occasionally if you wish to do so ,...ideally I would like to live in a new apartment close to stones corner to cut down on traveling ..please contact me if you are looking for a solid and hard working, clean flatmate to team up with ,..thanks marty

About me I'm an early educator working in Camp Hill. I’ve been living in brissy for 2 years now, I moved up from country NSW and am loving it. I consider myself tidy, easy going, well mannered and a non smoker. I live quite a busy life between sport, study, meetings, socialising and travelling home to visit family. I am away most weekends. So I do like my quiet time to myself, but am always up for a chat also. Not a real party girl but don’t mind a casual drink or two every now and then.
Hi, I’m 22 and recently graduated from a primary education degree. Planning to do relief teaching, interested to see what kind of work there is in Brisbane therefore need somewhere with short term stay and furnished just in case. I also have a car, would prefer off-street but doesn’t matter too much. Would like to live with others who are up for a drink or go out on weekends for adventures. I am tidy, quiet, enjoy baking and exercise. :)
We are 3 girls - Maddy (23), Kiah (22) and Mollie (22) looking for a like minded house mate to join us in our lovely home in Coorparoo (in between Camp Hill & Norman Park areas). We each study design, work part time, are quite social but enjoy our own time & share a love for plants, gigs, food, drinks & good music. Looking for someone who is considerate and chilled out but doesn’t mind a boogie on the weekends! Need someone who takes initiative in doing household chores!! Our home is a beautiful old queenslander with a verandah and back deck! Fully fenced with plenty of parking and close to everything! (Shops, transport, parks etc). Lovely white walls and timber floors, dishwasher, air con, fans, huge yard, veggie patch, big kitchen and heaps of natural light! It’s filled with groovy furniture and an abundance of plants! We also have 2 cats Wilma and Lenni. Your room is 3m x 3.6m (no built ins). Would love to hear from you :-)
Employed full-time in the higher education sector. I enjoy exercise, music / cultural events and hobbies such as photography and graphic design. You could probably lump me into the sort of character who works in education, health, IT / Engineering and design. I am always up for a good chat, especially about interesting topics! In terms of place and housemates - I’m looking for a prefer a peaceful, relaxing place with a mature, independent housemate who enjoys chatting and the occasional dinner or TV show. I am neat and tidy, generally clean every weekend but leading a busy life I am not obsessed with cleaning. I am a non smoker and rarely drink.
I work full-time during the week and have an active social life on the weekends. When I am home I'll be relaxing watching footy. I'm easy to get along with and always down for a chat after work. Looking to live with chill people.
Doing my Masters at Griffith University and working full time so chances are I will be away for 3 days. When I'm not however, I like to cook, read, and practice piano which I recently started and trying to teach myself. I don't smoke, or drink often. I'm pretty neat person and like to be organized, and prefer to maintain the house I live in accordingly. I keep it to myself generally, but always up for a chat and night out, to know the city and people in it more.
I consider myself to be very clean, tidy and house proud! I work in real estate and have for years, so I understand how important it is to have someone who treats a house like it's their home. I have two small cats (strictly indoor only), so wherever I move to will need to be pet friendly as rehoming them is not an option. I come with my own furniture, so any bedroom does not need to be furnished. I also have common area furniture (couch, TV, fridge, etc), so I can bring these things along with me too. Let me know if you have any other questions!
hello my name is maddy. i am a single mother who full time has my beautiful daughter faith who is 6. i study doing my dilpoma full time at home and my daughter goes to carina state school. i really want to keeo her at the same school but will take offers in south east way. we are respectful but are fi sing it a bit hard to find a place with being a single mum. i can happily afford 350 a week and most being comfy 400 a week. let me no if anything :)
Hi everyone, I'm Scott and I am 33 years old and have moved back to Brisbane a couple of months ago for a job, having lived here previously about 6 years ago. I work full time at a university in a role that sees me keeping long-hours during the week and occasionally on weekends. I am friendly and down to earth and have done the shared-living thing for a number of years. I am always keen for a chat, shared meal or a drink together but also respect people's privacy and that sometimes people just want their own space. Outside of work, I head to F45 most mornings, play indoor soccer one night a week and once the season comes around will be playing outdoor soccer as well. If not playing sport, I love watching it so will be aiming to take in live sport whenever possible. Having lived in Brisbane before I have a great network of friends who I catch up with. I moved from Newcastle so I will be missing the beach so now the warmer weather is arriving I will be doing day trips north and south and discovering parts of the coast. Looking for a place that is more than a room, where the housemates all get along and are fairly similar in age, sociable and it feels like home. Not wanting a party house, but one where the visitors are welcome would be nice. Preferably sharing with only one or two others. I do have all my own bedroom furniture and some other personal belongings in storage at the moment, so would prefer to use them and stop paying the storage fees, so my preference is for a unfurnished room. I am ultra-reliable with rent and bills and also like to keep where I live nice and clean, by no means am I OCD about it, but certainly a level where you are comfortable having unexpected guests dropping by. I am looking for a place on the south side of Brisbane but not settled on a particular suburb, it is about the people and the place more than a particular location. I have until late December to find somewhere so not in a rush, but also able to move at short-notice for the right place. If I sound like I could be a match for you, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thanks, Scott
I'm a very organised and clean person. I work a lot and go to uni 3-4 days a week. I wish to bring my 2 cats with me however they can stay back on the Gold Coast if they have to. I would like to have my partner stay 2-3 nights a week. I can cook yummy meals and I like to keep active by playing soccer or running. I'm very laid back and love to go on adventures as well as stay in for movie nights. Always up for a chat.
*Looking for a team-up only* I’m Louise, 34yo. I work full time as an IT professional in the city. I love yoga and practice most days; a couple of friends and I like going to fitness meet ups at the weekends and I belong to a hiking club. I belong to a local community group that takes up a bit of time on my evenings and weekends so I’m fairly busy most of the time. I also have a little dog, his name is Dino and he’s a 1yo amstaffy. He’s a real little sweetheart, very well behaved and affectionate. I like my home to be my quiet sanctuary- I would love to meet similar housemates that enjoy social time in our shared areas but equally our own space.
I am very laid back, tidy but not neurotic about being clean. I am looking to live with friendly open minded people, preferably in a social household. I love art, teas, gin (sometimes) and animals. Waterfalls, natural swimming holes and rainforresty environments bring me a lot of joy also. I eat mostly plant based at home so if you're vegan you won't have to worry about me bringing non vegan foods into the house. I would prefer to move somewhere in south Brisbane. Open to male and female housemates.
