I am a very fit gardener who pays tennis competitively and regular golf. I am very fond of classical and ambient music. Keen opera, classical ballet and symphony concert patron. I do regular fitness training as I play the seniors tennis circuit in southeast queensland and am currently ranked 23 nationally in the 65-70 age group in mens singles. I lived in St Lucia for 5 years and Chelmer for 11 years . I am used to sharing dwellings so I am very clean and tidy. I will tend to be out a lot due to work and tennis playing and training commitments. I can look after your garden and clean the gutters. I am active in three organisations all of which I am the elected treasurer. They are the Queensland Council for Civil Liberties, the Brisbane Local Energy Trading Scheme, and the Queensland Vegetarian Society. I can provide names and phone numbers of people who will vouch for my reliability. I am a very calm person as I do meditation daily.
Hello! Names Payce Williams and I come from Alberta, Canada. I am looking for a place to call home in the Brisbane area for the next 3-4 months while I look to obtain my real estate license. I am looking for a nice and quite area away but to be fairly close to a bus and/or train station in the area. By the moment you met me you'll see that I am a energetic and well spoken person who loves a good laugh and cherishes friendships with due respect. I am currently seeking part time work while I aim to gain my realtor license within the month of December. Please feel free to contact me any time if my listing intrigues you to get to know a fellow Canadian. Thanks Eh!

Hi there I'm a med PhD/ neuroscientist (super driven) recently back for the states, to help my folks through a transition. Now it's my turn. (House trained) I read a lot though I'm not really a homebody. I love to hang out, philosophise and have a bit of fun preferably with cool compassionate, empathic, humble, self aware, progressive, respectful people. I’m chill and easy going but passionate and engaged with the world. Life's about being positive and being able to talk to anyone no matter what their perspective but if you dont know who Donald Trump is or think he's a good thing, I'm just not the one for you. Troy
I'm an easy going 20 year old who loves animals. I study beauty therapy in Toowong and also have my own business working as a hair and makeup artist. I have a quiet indoor cat who is rarely seen or heard. Perks of living with me include free makeup when I'm bored, cute cat cuddles and I cook, clean and am easy to live with. Looking to move into a share house with similar likeminded people who don't mind the occasional drink.

I'm a physiotherapy student at UQ, looking to find a place to rent for 12 months while I'm on placement. I love cooking, wine/cocktails, going to the markets and keeping active outdoors.
I am 24, work full time as a paramedic on a rotating shift work roster. I will need to sleep during the day after night shifts, and work long hours, so not looking for a crazy weekend party house. I have a fairly busy social life but also enjoy relaxing in front of the TV with a glass of wine or watching a movie to chill out.
I'm 47 & keep myself reasonably fit & healthy, I like the quiet life these days, so not looking for a party house, but I am sociable & also enjoy my own company at times. I enjoy a good laugh & once I get to know people you won't stop me talking about any rubbish that I can think of, so I like a good conversation, sometimes light-hearted & silly, other times in-depth! I am a tidy person & won't leave a mess & I respect other people's property & treat it like I would my own. I'm not interested in drugs, or sharing with anyone who uses them. I don't mind a few beers, or a glass of wine or two, nothing mad though. I enjoy the outdoor lifestyle, walking, running, kayaking, mountain biking, photography and also a bit of an artist and I like a bbq every now & then. I think I'm a reasonably intelligent person and am educated to advanced diploma level. I'm looking to move into a shared house/flat/unit in Brisbane, having owned my own place in Murwillumbah, NSW, after a relationship split over 8 months ago. I'm also looking for somewhere that has space to keep my kayak & mountain bike, they weren't cheap, so I'd be looking to store in a garage or maybe secure under house storage, shed etc. I'd prrfer a long term stay, but a short term stay could work too. Wifi is a must!
I am an organised and easy going person. I am studying a diploma in children services and most of the time I am working. I would like to live with people that I can practice English and I can teach Spanish. However, I am pretty much busy the whole day during the week, I am really quiet and relax person.
I'm a full time internal audit graduate looking for a clean and new apartment, preferably near public transport. Enjoy having drinks with friends once in a while and love dining out with good company. Respectful and I'm not home very often
Hello! I've lived in Brisbane for the last 6 years and am looking for some easy going people to live with. I work full time as a geotechnical engineer and travel fairly frequently for work (away for approximately 2-3 months a year). I'm pretty active and am always doing something but also need a decent amount of quiet time. I'm clean and easy to live with so lets get this show on the road.
Updated: North Brisbane **specifically looking for a granny flat thanks :)** Hi I'm Amy, a 23 year old cake decorator working 3 days a week for a small company located on Brisbanes South Side. However I am considering returning to volunteering and studying next year and would strongly consider moving closer to my partner. I'm passionate about baking and all things cake/deserts. I am a fairly harsh critic and rarely live up to my own standards. I'm always looking for constructive criticism and am willing to share my baked goods. I enjoy going to the markets, baking, reading, fithooping (weighted hoola hoop), walking, Kitten D'amour and board games... I really enjoy board games! I am fairly kept to myself and have a small circle of close friends. At present I am only looking for a grannyflat. My partner lives in North Brisbane and is currently studying and working so I am usually away on weekends. If you feel I would be the right tenant for your property I would love to hear from you! Kind Regards, Amy
***Update*** I have now included that my lease at the current place doesn't end until February '17. Also, I am only looking for a room with own bathroom. Hi my name is Johnny. I have no pets and pay rent and bills on time. I work in a day surgery in an eye clinic as an instrument technician. I am seeking a furnished house or apartment to share with a responsible and mature individual with their own active lifestyle. No furniture to bring except some bedroom units. I enjoy my own space but can easily be sociable on regular occasions. I wouldn't mind teaming up too and prefer having an undercover car space, or off-street parking. Thought I might add a few odd bits here about myself as a means of informing suitability - My favourite rock and roll band is a toss-up between Wilco, Radiohead, and Blur. My favourite male singer/songwriter is Tom Waits and my favourite female singer/songwriter is Neko Case. My favourite food is pasta with anything! EXCEPT veal or kangaroo meat. I am conscious of my eating habits and try to minimise consumption of meat with the goal of cutting it out of my diet altogether. The ideal way to contact me is through the Flatmates website or mobile phone. Regards, johnny
Hi my name is Javana, I'm 23 and I work in customer service and also study part time. I am friendly but respectable. I spend a couple (or more) nights with my boyfriend whether it be his or mine so I would prefer a place accepting of couples. I am a private person but I do know how to socialise and be friendly! I am very tidy as long as the house work is shared between everyone. If you think you can help me out please message me! But please make note of my move in date! Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Hey! I'm an international student from India, doing my Masters at UQ. Right now I'm on holiday at home, but I will be back in February. I'm just on here early to put my feelers out so that moving is easier for me when I get back :) I enjoy a beer every now and then, and spend most of my time on youtube. I'm pretty sociable (not much of a partier tho), and I'm super neat and friendly! I usually spend all day at uni, so I'd probably rarely be home. I also love animals, and would love to live in a house with a pet, but I'm super allergic to cats and dogs (it's the bane of my existence), so if you do have a fur baby, it's probably best I don't move in :( I love watching movies/tv with other people so if you're into that kinda thing, it'd be great! I'll watch pretty much anything (except old kung fu/wild west movies). If you think you'll have an availability by mid-February, please contact me so we can get to know each other! Thanks :)
I am really neat and can cook. I am really friendly, but I understand if you would prefer to be left alone. I don't have many things so I don't take up much room. If it concerns you at all I am vegetarian. I am a student and I work part time as a waitress. I will be studying a large part of the time that I am there, otherwise I might be at work or out with friends, but I would be glad to get to know the people that I am staying with as well. I am quite young which you may find a turn off. Although I will always pay my rent and help around the house where it is needed. I hope to talk to you soon. :)
Hi my name is Duncan , I am working full time and also Studying part time in I.T, I am looking for a house share in the Auchenflower, to Indooroopilly area. 32 yo professional. Honest, reliable, easy going individual. Office job in Darra which calls for interstate travel sometimes. I enjoy social outings with friends but I also enjoy quiet nights in cooking and listening to music or watching a movie. Family live overseas which I try to see yearly.
Hi there. i'm a tradesman and plant operator, looking for a relaxed place with chill people. i'm a considerate and clean guy who loves cooking and sharing a meal with his housemates. i work fulltime, 6 nights a week, so would prefer housemates that are a bit more mature, and are past the "party house" stage.... :) I AM LOOKING FOR A HOUSE ONLY, NOT AN APPARTMENT.....
I am quiet. I keep to myself. I rarely drink, do not smoke or do drugs. I have a 14 year old daughter that I see every second fortnight. I am normally working full time but took time off to try and accelerate the development of a business with a colleague. I am sensible and trustworthy. I have no criminal record what so ever and have good moral and family values. I am easy going and have a good sense of humour. I am clean and tidy.
Hey I'm Jess, I'm currently working at a florist & studying teacher aide. I love dancing & cats. I'm generally a quiet person but also love to be social. Preferably would like to live with females.
Looking at moving out within the next month with a mate of mine and we are hoping to get a decent house with a nice outdoor area and yard. We both work full time as tradesmen, 50+ hours a week, we are out of the house before 6 every morning and usually don't get home till after 4:00pm. After work we definitely go into chill mode, and don't mind having a few beers every now and then. And most weekends I am either working or on the coast, and Matt works most Saturdays and is always busy on his days off. Looking to find a place around the 600/week mark and basically hoping to find a 3rd person male/ female, or even a couple (we really aren't fussed) on here to move in with us. If you're interested, don't hesitate to message me. Cheers !
Hi, My name is HEERAK and just call me Rocky. i'm 23 years old student in Korea. l was looking for good house near Csiro Manufacturing Science & Technology. im gonna work at Csiro as a intern from jan 2nd. to feb 25th. l wish there is a double bed in my room and they are fully furnished room and house. I think it would better if my roommates are students. If the bus stop is close to the house,it would be good .I mean it's just within 10-munite walking from house to bus stop. l wish there is an air conditioner in my room ,l will pay the extra electricity fee of the A/C .
Hey, looking for somewhere to live. I work full time in the city as a teacher and personal trainer. I work and study a lot. Have some furniture, but would be happy to move in with someone that has furniture as well. My main reason for moving is I need to find a house where I can put my two dogs.
I am currently living in a share apartment with a small courtyard and am wanting to move somewhere with a big fenced backyard (with a pool if possible) so that my dog Baxter can have a happier life being able to run around outside. And I will soon be bringing my cat up from SA so looking for somewhere that is happy to have a dog and a cat as furry friends too. One of my current housemates may be wanting to move with me to a larger place too so am in a state of unknown at the moment but just wanting to see what is available now. If he is keen we will need a place with 2 rooms available that is close(ish) to the city as he works there and uses public transport. Should know by end of December. Our current lease doesn't end until February 2017 so if a great option comes up then will look at breaking the lease or replacing me/us. Baxter is only 9 months but the sweetest natured dog I have ever met. Great with adults, children and other animals. He is Maremma x German Shepherd x Border Collie x Cattle Dog. My cat Lola is a Ragdoll and like most cats is possibly bipolar and is either wanting to play or keeping to herself. Both pets are currently inside pets but will be converting them to outside pets mainly but want a place that is happy to have them inside still for cuddles every now and then or when it is bad weather. I have my own creative and consulting business and work mainly from home so looking for a place with a largish room that I can also use as my workspace. I am hopefully enrolling in part-time study next year to do biomedical science at UQ so I will most likely have my nose in books or my computer working a fair chunk of the time. I'm not really a party-goer but like an environment that has a homely vibe where everyone can have a laugh and get along but also happy to have their own time too. I love hiking, travel, being outside, exploring/trying new things. Also regularly take Baxter to the Nudgee dog beach so trying to find a place close to the river to go for walks or hikes at Mt Coot-tha or close to a dog friendly park. Needs to above the river as most my commitments are there and I want to avoid paying tolls or long travel time daily. Most important thing to know about me is I am considerate and polite and respectful of others in share accommodation and get along with most people. Love learning new things, cultures, and people. But, I can't stand liars, rude, contradicting or untrustworthy people so if that's you maybe skip past me.. ;p
My sister and I are looking at moving to Brisbane in the next few months. I work full time for a company and plan to transfer, while my sister has just come back from working in the USA and is hoping to find full-time work. We are both very social and familiar with shared living.
Hey! Firstly, I'm not needing to move until January. I currently work fulltime at Mount Coot-tha and I've been living in Taringa for the past 3 years. I enjoy eating out, going out, having a drink after work, music festivals and going for runs along the river - or just staying in and binge watching netflix. I'd need to move mid-January, ideally looking to stay around Toowong/Taringa (train line / bus line) - but pretty flexible. I have my own communal appliances and furniture to bring with me if needed. Shoot me a message if you would be interested in starting a new place or if you need a spot filled and we can grab a coffee - Thanks!

Hiya! I'm a journalism/arts student at UQ St Lucia just looking to find a third roommate for myself and my other friend Kayla. We have found a few houses we'd like to live in the Toowong, St Lucia, Indooroopily area and are now just searching for that third and final flatmate to join us! We both quite like banter and beers (though preferably spirits if you're planning on telling us some bad news). I'm also a pretty clean sweep, obviously I forget dishes now and then as we all do, but I do pride myself on being as clean as I can! We also both respect that everyone has their own lives and needs down time but are really looking for someone who'd like to be a part of our cute little student family! Swing me a message if you're interested!
We are both mature respectful and reasonable people who like to live a quiet lifestyle as we both dont drink . We are outgoing and do our best to keep everyone happy. More than happy to keep our area in the house clean and contribute to keeping the rest of the house clean, more than happy to cook and share a meal and a chat and do what is expected of a good tenant. Currently unemployed and are on government benefits due to our move back from toowoomba so we need to find accomodation as fast as we can but that dosent affect our ability to pay rent and we are actively looking and will take the first opportunity but dont let that change your mind about us as tennants. We are expecting a baby in march and im finding that can be a problem to most people so if you have a room to offer us without that being an issue we will be forever thankful and appreciative dont assume we need ridiculous ammounts of space because of this because we dont we just need a normal sized room pleasw if you can help and offer us something we would love to hear from you thanks for reading this and considering us as tennants.
27 year-old journalism student at UQ searching for housemates around my age to live with who are fun, independent and socially like-minded. Look forward to hearing from you!

I am an international student, 3rd year Psychology major at UQ. Looking for an air-conditioned room in a place with convenient transportation, and clean tenants I can make friends with.
I am a 20 year old mechanical engineering student studying at UQ St Lucia. I am looking for a house close to UQ or Yeronga/Yeerongpilly, as I am a private tutor and my students live in this area.
International student starting a Master of Environmental Management program at UQ in February 2017. I am friendly, open-minded, and easy going! I enjoy the occasional laid back wine night as well as adventurous nights out. I like to try to stay active but haven't fully figured out gym machines, so if someone wants to teach me or be my buddy to group fitness classes that would be fun :) I do have a small/medium sized dog (who will be joining me a few months after I arrive) who is well-behaved and super friendly, so animal lovers and a location with a yard and/or park nearby would be ideal!
Hi my name is Craig, 52 years old engineer been in now for 4 months Brisbane from New South Wales to take up a new position. Like to cook and do clean up afterwards, sometimes share a meal and glass or two.
I'm working full time and study part time so I'm not around the house much, when I'm home I like to binge-watch tv shows and drink lots of tea. Looking for some nice people to make a nice place to live :)

Hi there! My name is Bri, kinda like the cheese. Full-time working professional and singer-songwriter. I am an outgoing introvert so love meeting new people and having a good laugh but am also happy to have downtime. As a housemate, I am friendly, clean and considerate - I will always do my share and pay bills on time. For fun I enjoy cooking, travel, reading, watching movies, making music and stalking cute dogs at the park. I don't mind a sneaky beverage with dinner, usually wine or tequila. I am respectful to the LGBTQI community. What I am looking for: Ideally somewhere relatively close to the city for the long term. I need to have enough space for music equipment either in my room or another space (eg. garage) where I won't annoy anyone. It would be great to be somewhere that pets are allowed as I have always wanted a dog. In a housemate, I am looking for someone who is like-minded. If you have a dog, I will also love it like my own.
I'm studying veterinary science at UQ in Gatton, and work at a vet clinic on weekends. I'm originally from Melbourne, and I have been living in Gatton since moving to QLD. I'm looking forward to moving to Brisbane and being able to have a life again! I'm easy going and fairly social, but I enjoy relaxing at home just as much with a movie and good company. I'd like to be able to have friends over for dinner and drinks sometimes, and I'd love to meet new people. I bring my dog Caribou as a bargaining chip, he's a playful 2 year old Border Collie, and he always keeps me entertained. I'm also gay so I would like to live with people who are comfortable with that.
Hey the names Dave I'm 24 and from Ireland. I moved to Brisbane in February and am currently a few weeks away from finishing my farm work for my 2nd year visa so am living out west at present. I plan on travelling for the month of December and coming back to Brisbane towards the start of the new year and am looking for accommodation. I'm very friendly, easy going and good for a conversation. I would like to move to a social household who work during the week but enjoy the weekends. Things I like doing in my spare time would be going to the beach, having drinks with friends and going on weekend trips! I'm clean, reliable with rent and respect others property and privacy as well. That's myself on the right in the pic by the way! :) I'm pretty open as to where I live when I move back to Brisbane once it's within a reasonable commute to the city :) If I sound like I'd be a good fit for your place don't hesitate to give me a message and we can go from there! :) Cheers!
I am looking for a place for myself and my very friendly well trained collie. Unfortunately my cleaning puts my cooking to shame but i do enjoy trying. I enjoy a active life but quite easily relax with a beer around bbq
Hey! I'm Chelsea and am currently living in Cairns, QLD. I'm studying a Bachelor of Science Majoring in Biomedical Science at University of QLD beginning in March, 2017. Ideally I am looking to find a few people to team up with and find a house/apartment preferably around the St Lucia & Indooroopilly Area. A little bit about me - I'm 19 and have a dream to study medicine. I'm extremely tidy (bit of a neat freak!), outgoing and easy to get along with. I love playing guitar, keeping fit and eating healthy. I love going on spontaneous adventures - hiking, finding waterfalls, beach trips etc. Super keen to learn how to surf/kite surf while I'm down on the Coast. Also love music festivals and the odd night out. Obviously moving down from Cairns I am not going to know anyone, so I'd love to not only find someone to live with, but someone who would love to be mates. As much as I am a very social person, I also like to have quiet down time - whether its to study or just have a day in watching movies. I don't smoke, however I would enjoy drinks on a Friday night if i'm not flooded with Study. I would prefer to live with someone who is happy if I have family come down and stay with me, or if friends stay over on the odd night. As I would be more than okay if you wanted to do the same! :) I also have a Fur-baby up in Cairns I would eventually like to fly down and have live with me, so finding a place that is pet friendly is a must! His name is Bundy and he is VERY Fat Black Cat with a huge personality - who absolutely loves people and other pets (both cat and dogs!). He is 100% toilet trained, very obedient, and I can supply positive feedback from my last house mates :P I'm happy to live in a house or apartment with 2+ bedrooms and have all rooms occupied to make rent cheaper. I'm also happy to pay a bit extra to claim the main bedroom and ensuite as I am applying for jobs as a shift worker and would benefit from having my own bathroom so I'm not too disruptive for the rest of the house. Other then that, If you have any other questions then please feel free to send me a message through my I look forward to hearing from you :-)
