I'm a super friendly gal looking to move to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast into a private room. I am very respectful and keen to meet new, friendly people I can chill with (but at the same time can keep to myself and respect privacy). Having a year off to work before going back to studying next year (archaeology). I adore animals so I'm happy to live in a house with any. I love going out for coffee or a drink and exploring new places. If you're looking for someone to fill a room, send me a message! :)
My name is Grace, I'm 21, and I am starting my second degree in Mechanical Engineering at UQ. Friends would describe me as an outgoing introvert, so while I love socialising and being around others I also like my time alone. I have many hobbies including flying, music, soccer and camping. I am very adventurous and love the outdoors and like to keep my self busy. I work as a high school tutor although I will be looking for another part time job. I am respectful towards others spaces and in shared areas of the house and am generally pretty clean. I will also be spending my weekends back with my family in Noosa so I will only be around during the week for Uni.
Hi, my name is Marcelo. I work full time as a researcher for the University of Queensland. I am looking for a place to stay, preferably with off street car park. I am easy going, I love reading watching a good movie and listen to good music. I would like to find a flatmate who is also a professional and understands sometimes we need to go home and just relax—however I also time to time enjoy a beer or a glass of wine :-)!!
I'm a single mum of two kids. They're enrolled in Prep and Year 2 at Kenmore State School. I'm also a full-time student: trained as a doctor in India, I've cleared the first of my Australian medical council exams and currently preparing for my clinical exam. We're respectful of housemates and tidy up as we go. Looking forward to meeting up with our new housemates :)
I'm roadtripping up from Melb to Bris in Jan chasing the warm breeze and muggy nights. I'll be starting my job Jan 29th so hoping to be settled somewhere by then. Happy to live anywhere as long as there is lots of lovely smelling trees around and nice places to stroll. Mount Coot-Tha general area seems pretty dreamy. I like laughing, yoga, reading, dancing, rainforests and waterfalls, mountains, blissing out to a good tune and chats about anything from the weather to the meaning of life. I eat mostly plants and try to live pretty healthy. We'll see how my lifestyle adapts to Brissy but at the moment I'm not home too often. Usually out any spare moment I get hiking and exploring new places or at markets and op shops. **I'm allergic to cats
Outgoing, friendly and respectful, keep to myself but always up for a chat, tidy. Enjoy the gym
Easy to get along with, keeps to myself but always happy for a chat. Enjoys going to the gym and living a healthy lifestyle. Tidy and respectful person.
I'm a dual degree paramedics and nursing student at QUT, I work a couple of casual/part time jobs and am a clean, proactive and positive person. I'm both extraverted and introverted - I love socialising and also enjoy my own space. I love plants as a side hobby and often sell the planters that I make. I'm from a big family so I get on with people well and am good at being part of a household. I spend my free time studying, gardening, watching netflix, cleaning/organising, exercising and spending time with my partner, family and friends.
I’m a Personal trainer and group fitness instructor, I’m bubbly, fun and super easy to get along with. I’ve been in Brisbane my whole life except for 3 years where I was living down the coast. I’m an extravert but at the same time I do enjoy my alone time very much aswell. I’m not home all to much in the mornings or afternoons and specially not on the weekends I’m usually away. Between two jobs my life’s pretty crazy and my social life doesn’t stop either. I love fitness but I also have the biggest love for food and coffee. Ideally I would like to live in a fun house who like to have drinks occasionally together and love to come home from work and actually talk but at the same time happy to spend time on my own and just do me.
Heya I'm meg I'm 24 and studying my masters of teaching. I love the outdoors, animals, staying active, yoga, writing and learning. I love bright and breezy areas that are welcoming and beautiful. Definitely love a clean and clutter free environment to relax in 😊 Looking for a place for a couple of months at least. Drop me a line I'd love to say hi 😊 Meg
I am a student at UQ studying Health Sciences (Nutrition) this year and am also learning Japanese part-time. The best way to explain me would probably be an introvert, but not one in the common sense. I'm a non-drinker so I'm not really one for throwing wild parties, getting drunk or making a ruckus at night. I'm quite empathetic of those around me, that means not making much noise and being out of the other flatmates way as much as possible. Despite being introverted I am quite sociable when I want to be, I'm weird in some ways, funny in others and I like to dance, watch movies, watch sport (AFL, yes I'm from Melbourne what do you expect, NBA and Cricket if theres a BBQ going on) and play sport/video games (I have a PS4, a main PC, and a switch) so if you have interests in either or anyone of these things, chances are we will get along quite well. I am definitely fine with dogs and cats as I grew up around both, just warning though as I give mean belly scratches so they might end up loving me more than you. What I'm looking for: A nice place that is around Kenmore, Indooroopilly or St Lucia which as long as it has a bed and maybe a desk(I can get one myself so not all flustered with it to be honest). I expect the people living there to be respectful of me as I am of them and if so, we will get along swimmingly. I would also like to add that I'm moving in from Sydney so the place has to be available from mid to late February. Hope to hear back from some of you soon.
Currently living in Mackay looking to move to Brisbane on 25th February 2019. I have a medium dog, she's wonderful, very friendly, gets a long with anyone and she has a lot of love to give, she is an outside dog. I also have a brand new ranger that I would prefer to keep garaged most of the time if possible. I will be moving with my car, my dog, myself and my belongings - no furniture. I would prefer somewhere already furnished. Now the fun stuff! I am 21 years old. I am mature for my age, I do still go out but not big on partying I prefer to stay home. I am clean, responsible, tidy, honest and respectful of others property. I will be moving with a fulltime contract working 38+ hours a week in Indooroopilly. I like fishing, adventuring, socialising, shopping, walking, eating, working out, reading and spending time with my dog. I’m very easy to get a long with, basically an open book, I love the simple things in life and just looking to start a new chapter really! I don’t smoke. Feel free to message me if you have any questions :)
Heyo! I'm a 20-year-old female student currently studying Law and Psychology at UQ, going into my 4th year of what feels like forever. Originally from a small town called Laidley [hour west from Brisbane] where my family still live, I moved to Brisbane to study at university. I casually also work at UQ in their Outreach team, where I go out to low-SES High Schools around and give presentations to hopefully increase their tertiary aspirations. I'm clean [also a stress/procrastination cleaner, so during exams the kitchen and bathroom will be deep cleaned randomly] and respectful of other peoples things. I typically keep to myself, however am also a friendly outgoing person when in a comfortable situation. I rarely drink or go out, however if I do it would be on the weekends and I would be keep noise to a minimum when coming home late at night. I love plants and animals - currently have a few tomato plants and small chilli plants, along with aloe and succulents that I have finally managed not to kill anymore!! I'm looking for a mature and nice environment where I can come home after study/work and relax, somewhere that feels like home. I respect honesty in all it's forms and am an honest person myself. I would love to find a place with not many other people where we can hangout if we want, or be chill enough to spend time by ourselves.
I'm fairly easy going, I look after myself and I'm always willing to help others. I mostly keep to myself and play video games, go to the gym, eat, and work (Rinse and repeat, that's me) I love a good drink or two and I most of the time I'm happy to chat away :) (P.S. I'm on the right of my photo)
I’m brazilian and will be studying business at UQ for 2 years. Back home I graduated as an industrial engineer and worked for about 2 years after grad. Then I decided to get myself over here. I’ve lived in Australia in 2010 as a rotary exchange student and loved it. Indeed, here I am again. I did year 11 in Batlow, NSW. I like to play tennis, love road-trips and motorbikes and plan to run my first half-marathon this year. On top of that I'm going to be working and studying, so things should be busy! When I can, I love having a beer and going out. I'm very easy to deal with... I've lived in so many different houses and set ups and I get along pretty well. This time I'm looking for something more orderly and at the same time with a nice good mood to do things together sometimes. Hope to hear from you, cheers!
Hi, I'm a PhD student doing a 6 month research visit studying timber construction at UQ Civil Engineering. Looking for a place to stay from 1st of April - 7th October of this year with a reasonable commute to the UQ St. Lucia campus. Into hiking and sailing and all that, and would love to connect with the local folk music scene. : )
I'm a 21 Year old IT Technician and Network Admin, working full time in Darra. Clean and organized guy with a love of classical guitar. Looking for a place with a decent amount of room, with privacy for myself and for others any others I'd be living with. Internet is a must. Would prefer own bathroom.
2 mates and 2 fur babies (1 kelpie x border collie and 1 bordee collie) looking for another one or two people to share renting a house around brisbane area!! If you love dogs and are easy going you will get along with us!!! Feel free to message me with any questions!!! Cheers Paul
Hi! I'm Kaz! I'm a 19 year old disabled guy looking for an LGBT friendly place to live that's pet friendly. I also have a 1 year old, indoor only cat named Sheriff who lives with me. I'm a friendly but quiet person to live with. I don't make a lot of noise and I don't smoke or do drugs. I enjoy cleaning a lot and playing video games in my spare time!
My friends know me as very easy going and I can get along well with anyone. Honesty and respect are paramount to me, I don't stuff people around as i don't like being stuffed around. Lived on the GC for a couple of years now working as an ecologist, spent previous seven years in Central Oz. I start my new job end of this year with the office based in Fortitude Valley so I'm aiming to live within 30 to 40 minutes from there. Originally a country fella, like to think I'm very trustworthy, dependable, capable at anything, and good sense of humour (necessary for surviving in the desert). I mostly keep to myself as I am usually quite busy but I do have to get out there and do more fun things. I do enjoy a bit of exercise and aim to keep healthy. I have a great dane x, not overly big, which I know can be a challenge accommodation wise but she is truly beautiful, gets along well with other dogs, trained reasonably well and she believes everyone is here best friend (easily proven once people meet her). I may have to work away at times for a week, so the ideal place for me is where my dog is welcome to stay without me (I do realise this may be challenge!) or I may just have to put her in good kennel while I'm gone.
I am mostly quite but I like talking whenever. I work and i play pool on some of my nights off. I have a cat and he is quite and easy going very much a scaredy cat persona. He is mostly clean and is a 50/50 outdoor indoor. I really love him and want him in my life. I get paid weekly and buy food when required.
Starting school in UQ for my postgraduate study coming February. Looking for a place to stay in the vicinity of the university. I am from India but I do speak English, quite fluently :D. I'm a clean and tidy individual who has lived in shared apartments before. Huge football (soccer) fan with a love for singing, running and bingeing on TV shows and movies. My ideal scenario is one or two flatmates, preferably UQ students. Looking forward to having a great time in Brisbane.
