I’m told I’m warm and friendly unless you try rick roll me haha. Keep clean, courteous, work quite hard, but don’t take myself too seriously Keep active, spend lots of my time outdoors, have an active social life, not planning on having too many people over Work as a management consultant, teach at ANU, and do a few other things outside of work that fill my days Will be keen to ask how your day went, and also mindful of people wanting space and down time Looking for a chill housemate, and a place to call home
I have just moved from Sydney to Canberra, working at Thales on Defence IT project. I am fit, very clean, into hygiene and ALWAYS clean up afterward. I am into cycling and fitness training. I keep myself busy between work and training, but love to have a few drink or diner with flatmate(s). Initially I like an initial 3x months stay or at least till the winter is over. The location of the property must have bus stop or cycling path to get to 70 Kent Street, Deakin. As well as waling distance to Woolworth / Coles / IGA, and restaurants is a plus.
Hey there, from Sydney originally but have lived in the ACT for 5.5yrs. I am a full time venue manager for a delish restaurant/bar in Canberra. Few things about me, am very easy going and always up for a laugh. I enjoy listening to music, eating/drinking, puzzles, the odd hike here or there and much more. As a housemate, I never leave a mess behind and understand the boundaries of a share house.
I’m 25, quiet, respectful, enjoy cleaning and if I’m not working I’m out with friends, on walks or in bed catching up on sleep. I’m looking for a new place to live however I do have a eyelash extension business I run from home after hours from 5:30pm (a few nights a week) and some weekends. Due to this I require a quiet space or small study for my clients - if you think you can provide this please give me a hola! Other then that I work full time for the Departmenf of the House of Representatives as well as on the door at night clubs in the city most weekends. Monique 😊
Hi, I’m transferring to Canberra with my employer and will be spending the majority of my time at work or at home in Sydney, I am considerate, respectful and enjoy other company but understand when people need their own time. I’m clean, organized and handy in the kitchen and look forward to meeting some great flatmates :)
Hi, I'm Kim. I'm outgoing, friendly, funny? and I'm enjoying Australia to the fullest. I love a good laugh, dining with friends or just chill with some good wine any day of the week. I see the positive in most things and I love to live. Wine, cars, hiking, traveling, explore new cultures and learn new languages are some of my many passions. I am looking for a new place in Canberra as I will start a new full time job in the middle of June
Hi, I'm Taylor. I work full-time at a consulting firm here in Canberra. I moved to Canberra in 2016 and have really taken to it. I spend a lot of my time at work and travel semi-frequently. In my spare time, I play guitar and keyboard (through headphones!) and read. Looking for a place in the inner north or south. My move date isn't by any means fixed.
Hey! Im easy going and tidy. I'll usually stay out of your way but still will appreciate a wine or so after work :) I love to cook and am busy setting up my new business...love to meet over a coffee- am flexible to location, I don't have a car so don't worry about parking space- hoping to move ASAP! Thanks :) Ruby
Creative professional and coach recently moved to Canberra and looking for a share house with character (people and house). Working full time on a government contract and studying design in my spare time. Lots of experience living in share houses and contributing to a positive, respectful and attractive space. Enjoy a glass of wine and chat after work or on weekends. Like to cook and share meals when the timing works. A large room with a nice outlook would suit me best to fit a queen sized bed, dresser and desk, or a small room and access to study/studio space. I have a beautiful 8 seater dining table and chairs if there is room, plus a coffee machine and some great kitchenware. Will consider a semi-rural property as I enjoy peace and nature. Still pretty social though. If you have dogs count me out because I have allergies. Cats, chooks, rabbits etc are a bonus.
I'm currently working full-time for Department of Defence and am moving back to Canberra with work around mid-August. Originally from Sydney but have been moving around. I'm easy going and social, but do enjoy time to relax by myself. I definitely appreciate keeping a clean living space and considerate of others belongings. Love my sport and pretty keen to keep exploring the wider Canberra region.
Hi guys. I'm a FT Technical Writer working on cyber security for the AFP on a 12-month plus contract. I need a place ideally within walking distance of the AFP where I can rest my head and park my things. I'm from Melbourne so most weekends and for the occasional week or so I'll be flying home. I'm really easy to live with, uber tidy, like to socialise but also love my own space, love a glass of red and a chat, like Netflix and am well travelled (over 65 countries and counting) so I can recount many interesting travel stories and experiences if this is your thing. I'm fit, active, ride a bike and 59 years old. If this sounds like a fit, give me a ring or alternatively send me a message through Flatmates. Cheers, Rick
Hi! I'm a 24 year old professional who is about to endure their second winter in Canberra after moving down from Queensland. I enjoy spending most of my spare time in the outdoors rock climbing, hiking, camping and mountain biking. I'm social yet also enjoy some me time, would enjoy long walks along the beach if Canberra had any, and am looking for housemates who have at least basic survival skills (keep tidy etc). Get in touch if you have a room and think I'd be a good housemate!
Hey all, I'm pretty much a "what you see is what you get" kinda guy, polite and friendly by nature, I'm also clean tidy and respectful. I love travelling and the outdoors, meeting new people and having great conversations. Having said that, I also understand and respect the need for privacy and expect the same of others. I've moved to Canberra for a career change and now that I'm settled in my new role I'm looking for a nice and convenient place to live. I'm a Frenchman in my early 30s and have been in Australia for about 6 years now, but in Canberra just a few months. In my spare time I like reading, exercising, watching Netflix or playing video games, listening to music or just generally socializing with friends and meeting new people. I also love skiing and the mountains (especially in Europe and Japan), I speak fluent French and English and a little bit of Spanish (and a few words in Japanese) and I'm always up for practicing. That's really all I care to say as I'm that type of person you'll "get" by meeting in person rather than just reading about me preaching about myself. Happy to answer any questions though. All the best! Nic
Hi! I work in Barton and have been living in Canberra for about 18 months now. House trained and carry weight when it comes to cleaning. Like to catch up with my housemates but understand that we need our own space! I enjoy reading, films, walking, sewing and catching up with friends. Veronica
Hi I’m Jill, moving up to Canberra for work in a June and looking for a great share house. I’m really into an active lifestyle and want to explore what this new city has to offer. I’m sociable and will enjoy a shared meal or mid week wine on occasion but also understand the need for personal space. I can confirm I make the best pasta sauce in the world and can provide references from my current housemate. Im clean and tidy and want to live somewhere with someone that shares similar values.
Working full time in Braddon area as an event coordinator, looking to live close to work!! studying interior design like to stay relatively healthy enjoy cooking and love to be tidy and organised (not OCD) (ok maybe a little with my own things lol). Am a sucker for a cup of tea at the end of the day and cheese cant go a day without brie. I love socialising and meeting new people would love to have a good relationship with housemates as I think this is very important!
Hey flatmate hunters! I'm looking for a room in an established place. I'll be bringing with me an adorable 6 month old Border Collie puppy called Pepper. I've lived in Canberra for the past couple of years, working in international affairs. Before that, I was overseas in the UK and Netherlands for a couple of years working with a human rights NGO. Don't judge me, but I'm originally from Adelaide. Being a proud dad to a Border Collie pup keeps me pretty busy. Otherwise, I'm pretty active and love being outdoors - playing sport, camping, hiking, snowboarding (not always well!). I love watching football (round and oval ball), and binging on netflix. I've just finished season 4 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, so open to suggestions!! What I'm looking for... As I've got a dog, so I'm looking for somewhere with a reasonable sized (and fully secure) courtyard/backyard, which allows pets and housemates who like dogs. I'm willing to pay up to $300pw. I’d like to live in a house that feels more like a home, with someone who's keen to hang out and socialise, but who wont get offended when I occasionally look to chill on my own! I’ve got most of the necessary furniture (whitegoods excluded), though I'm happy to sell that if it's not needed at the new place. Give me a shout if you think I'd be suitable for your current place! Cheers, Trystan
Hi, I am a consultant and my company has asked me to relocate me from Brisbane to Canberra. I am looking for a housemate who enjoys good banter, great food and wine and a bit of dancing. During my downtime I am always up for anything that equals fun and adventure. I am tidy and respectful of other people's space and belongings. If this sounds ok to you let me know 🙂
Hello, we have just relocated to Canberra from Wanaka, New Zealand. We are pretty chill, hobbies include eating good food, skiing, biking and wiping down the kitchen bench, all with a glass of rose. Both working full time. We are social and up to meet new people in town but also happy to do our own thing. Would love to hear of any rooms you may have available.
