Hey, I am a 22 year old student from Austria and will be working in Canberra from the beginning of Mai until beginning of July. Looking for a clean and tidy private room/flat (fully furnished) close to Hobart Avenue. Maximum 400 AUD per week. I am looking forward to meet new people, but don’t want to stay in a party house as I will be working full-time. I am a very active person and love to cook and working out together with friends.
I've been living in Canberra for over a year now and am always loving it. I'm clean, tidy, responsible and quiet - so let me know if you have a place. I'd love to stop by and take a look.
I'm from Melbourne, moving to Canberra for a grad program in February 2020. I'm friendly, easygoing, tidy and independent. I'm happy doing my own thing but also hope to make new friends (as I don't know many people in Canberra), and am down to hang out/shared dinners/movies/bevs etc. I lived in a 12-person sharehouse in Switzerland for 6 months, so I'm used to sharing my space and contributing to chores etc., and enjoy living in a place where there is plenty going on (but also need my downtime). A bit about me: I love to travel, and have lived in France, Switzerland and Canada. I love animals (but am sadly allergic to cats) and sometimes look after Guide Dog puppies in training. I'm an enthusiastic (but not overly talented) skier and am looking forward to being close to the slopes in Canberra next year. I'm a non-smoker, and prefer to live with non-smokers. I'm looking to find other young professionals or students to share a centrally located house or apartment in 2020. I hope to be able to cycle to work, so would like to be less than 10km from Parliament. Feel free to get in touch if you are also in the same boat! Cheers.
Hi there, i am a 31 year old non smoking Aussie. I have **TWO INDOOR BURMESE CATS** who i love and adore. I have recently moved to Canberra from Northern Australia and have been offered a job within the Woden area. Ideally I am seeking to share a place with one or two others MAX. **I have two beautiful Burmese cats who are INDOOR only as as a result am seeking to share with others who are respectful that they cannot be let outside as well as people who enjoy having cats around the house as my two are very affectionate and love to follow people around the house and be pat.** Ideally, I would like an ensuite room or at the least, my own bathroom and a room large enough to fit a queen bed, desk and personal belongings. I like to get outdoors, am active, love a few drinks with friends on the weekends, love to travel and like to eat well. I also love having a little veggie and herb garden where possible :) Given my ripe old age, I like to keep a quiet home and don't like having parties in my house. I love a happy safe home and am seeking similar in a housemate(s).
Hi all, I moved to Canberra from Melbourne in 2018 and love living here! I ideally looking to team-up and start afresh with a new housemate (or two) in a space that is modern, quiet and which really feels like a home. I work full-time and study part-time, so I am often either out of the house or have my head stuck in the books. I am easy going and love to have a laugh. I can also be a bit of an introvert, so at times I really value my own space and will respect yours as well. I have all the furnishings for a new home (couch, fridge and all the other necessities) and love to have a place that is cosy and inviting. I have two young female indoor cats who are very well-behaved and stinkin' cute, so I would be looking to live with another animal lover. Unfortunately this makes living with other pets an impossibility. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I'm 22, moving from Brisbane to Canberra for a new job in the APS. I love reading, board game nights, outdoor activities, a good brunch out (and the chance to explore new cafes, of which I'm hoping Canberra has many!). I've just finished up a dual degree while also working at an eco friendly store called Biome for 5 years, and am keen to move to Canberra, make some friends, and work hard. I enjoy having a good chat, but also like a bit of time to myself to recharge, so I reckon I could find a good balance with my fellow flatmates based on their needs as well as mine.
I'm a 31-year-old professional who tends to keep far too busy in the attempt to balance work, fitness, study and the art of a life well-lived. I'm very clean, respectful and a good conversationalist. I love music, books, gardens, good food, better coffee, great wine, and almost any kind of whisk(e)y. I cook well, can shake and stir a range of cocktails, fix a car and keep indoor plants happy. I love the outdoors, camping and getting out into the bush often. I keep fit and love to lift weights, cycle, and hike. I've a few degrees with another on the way, a lot of skills, and am always keen to make everywhere feel like home. Happy with a quiet place, happy with a louder place, and happiest when there are dogs about.
Hello! I am in my mid-20s and moving from Sydney to Canberra for work in the APS. I am tidy, clean, and easygoing. I respect space and value time to myself at home, but am also fun-loving and always down to chat, hang out and/or go out. I hope to become good friends with my housemate/s. In my free time I like to read and write (when feeling virtuous) and eat spicy food. I am looking for a place that is quite relaxed and quiet with easy walk/public transport to National Circuit. My budget is around $250 a week excl bills and I'm hoping to move in around 20 January 2020.
Hi, I'm Monique and I'm a 49 year old nurse who has been in Canberra for about one year. I work as a registered nurse at the Civic Blood Plasma Donor Centre. I do work shifts (different start and finish times) but no night shifts, some Saturdays. I love outdoor exercise and fitness, walking, cooking and enjoy going to the theatre and museums. I'm clean and tidy and respect the privacy of those I live with. I understand the importance of downtime and appreciate others wanting their "me time" but also happy to have a chat. I love the company of cats and dogs.
Hi there. I’m looking for a share house in Canberra. I am preferring Inner north or inner south. I’m after mature easy going housemates who wish to build a relaxed home. I working as a trauma counsellor full time and an ex ANU student. I enjoy going to the gym, yoga, reading and catching up with friends, think... cafes, festival vibes, bush walks and kayaking. As a housemate I am honest, communicative and value equality. I don't do drama, and you know where you stand with me. I have a mischievous sense of humour and have been told I am kind natured. I like to keep the house tidy and I am happy to pull my weight. I have the capacity to stick to rosters and always pay rent on time. I enjoy having chats and socialising. I am looking to live in a house where people are happy to sit around the communal areas and feel comfortable with each other and themselves. I am happy living with both males and females. I wish to live in larger room which has the capacity to accommodate a queen bed. I’m after a place which has adequate heating and cooling. Message me if you think I’m a fit :)
