I am a single full-time public servant. I also work casually on weekends from time to time as I have saving for a house. I am a neat, friendly person who loves music, movies and stand-up comedy. I am social but also respect privacy and the need to have your own downtime. I also play sport on weeknights and weekends.
I'm a junior doctor at Canberra Hospital. Looking for a peaceful and relatively modern place. Would be nice to have my own bathroom and prefer housemate(s) who are clean and tidy. I have lived at uni accommodations and shared houses for last 10 years so I got used to cleaning after myself and understand the rules of sharing with housemates. When I have time after work and studies I enjoy outdoor activities and used to play tennis... Big fan of stand up comedy. Looking to move in before end of April
Hi! I am from Brisbane/Gold Coast, 29 years old, working full time for the Government (surprise!). I like to keep fit and active - outdoors / sports / gym etc! Also love good coffee, food and a glass of wine. Often up for a good chat over dinner but also need down time, so looking for a balanced place to come home to. I am very clean but easy going.. have lived in shared places for years - respectful, understanding, reliable, share the housework etc. :) Looking for a friendly environment to relax in sharing with similar young professional/s.
I’m a 28 year old full time executive government employee with two non-shedding, housetrained Labradoodles, Billie and Bronson. Photos are available on IG for those interested [maverick.j.roberts (without the full stops)]. - I have a fridge, couch, television, washing machine, dining table etc. Ready to roll. - I’m an introverted extrovert so I am more than happy to do my own thing, but also enjoy hanging out and watching movies or having a barbecue and a beer or two. - I’m very neat and tidy and like to live in a clean space. - I’m fairly active. I train 5-6 mornings a week and walk the dogs twice a day. Between that and weekend activities I’m not home an awful lot. - Hobbies include reading, gaming and spending time with my close friends and family (dogs included).
I moved to Canberra a little over 3 years ago for work where I got a job as a public servent who works full time (mon-fri). I like to keep to myself but also enjoy hanging out with people with a drink or two. I also enjoy cooking, baking especially. When im home I will either be sewing, drawing or listening to music. Thanks for reading.
Working full-time, I am an outdoor enthusiast (Rock Climbing, Mountaineering). Love going out for some beers, but also appreciate quite time. I am usually very neat and tidy, but I don't stress if there is occasional dishes in the sink. Looking for flatmates that are really chill and would love afternoon beers, but also like to keep things quite and calm.
Public servant returning to Canberra in early/mid May after a few years abroad. Looking for a place in the inner-south, preferably two bedroom setup. Have some furniture. Very easy going, have lived in 3+ person flateshares in Canberra and Melbourne previously. I’m outgoing, tidy, and respectful of space and the need for privacy.
I'm a 28 year from Cronulla, Sydney. I have been working as a solicitor for the past 4 years. When I'm not working I like be fit and active - running, ocean swimming and bush walking. I have been playing soccer since I was 6 and have followed Manchester United since they beat Bayern Munich in 1999 Champions League final. I like going to gigs and play the guitar (badly). I also like having a drink and some banter, watching movies and TV. I'm pretty much into all the standard stuff that people enjoy doing :)
I’m a very considerate, good-humoured public servant. Into music, film and the arts, but no party animal by any stretch, so also appreciate quiet. Do most of my socialising out and about and fairly low key. Work with intense content during the day, so somewhere with anyone who is also fun but respectful of a quiet living environment is great. Happy to consider sharing with anyone who fits that description!
I’m a post-grad Law Student who is currently travelling and returning back to Canberra late March. I’ll be working full time in the city, so would prefer one of the inner suburbs and am flexible with rent price. Low-maintenance, I love the outdoors, bouldering and travel to the coast pretty often so am not always around. Enjoy a drink and catch-up but completely respectful of space too. I do have furniture that is currently in storage but if the room is already furnished I’m fine with that too. Will be travelling to Germany in July this year for 6 weeks but am able to pay rent through this time. Have a car (which is not currently in Canberra), but also a commuter bike so also flexible on needing a parking space/on-street parking. :)
We are two young professionals looking for 1-2 others to team up to sign up for a 3/4 bedroom house. We are both fairly clean/tidy, and are looking for someone who is friendly and up for having some good convos, and watching the odd movie or splitting a bottle of wine. If you're interested, send us a message and tell us a little about yourself. About Zac: I'm 23 year old public servant who enjoys reading, boardgames, netflix marathons and the occasional hike. I'm always up for having a good chat over a glass of wine. About John - I'm a young professional in my mid-20s moving to Canberra from Sydney to start as a graduate in the private sector. Outside of work I love to travel to try new foods, exercise and play video games. Some places we would consider teaming up for: https://www.domain.com.au/68-hampton-circuit-yarralumla-act-2600-12891738 https://www.domain.com.au/3-4-8-mcgowan-street-dickson-act-2602-12944084 https://www.domain.com.au/ainslie-act-2602-12940880
I am a 37 yo male, working part-time, studying full time. My partner is a 30 yo lawyer working at the High Court. We are clean, tidy and respectful, don't party and lead a fairly quiet lifestyle as we are saving for our own house in 2020.
I'm a Yoga teacher, dancer, photographer, nature-lover. I'm very tidy, thoughtful and responsible. I am independent with a full life, but I also enjoy the buzz and colour of communal living with good-hearted and gentle people. I like to live in places with beautiful light and near to nature.
Hi everyone ! I moved from Queensland just over a year ago and really haven’t settled in completely yet. I am currently living in Belconnen and it’s just too far away from everything. I am one of the curators working full time for the National Bonsai and Penjing Collection up at the National arboretum 🌲 so if you want to learn a thing or two about bonsai, I’m your guy! I love nature and going on hikes when I can. I try my best to get down to the beach every now and then too. I am looking for some awesome housemates to live with who don’t mind being social every now and then, a cheeky red 🍷 or a group dinner here and there never hurts. I am also very respectful of everyone’s space and definitely enjoy my own ‘down time’. I am looking for a room that is spacious and offers plenty of natural light, as my current room is way too dark and closed off.
I am a 29 year old public servant looking for a place close to work in the Parliamentary triangle. I am a friendly, relaxed and tidy person looking for like-minded housemates to share the occasional meal/drink/activity with. I like sports, movies, music, travel, food and wine. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi - I'm Sarah! I'm a Kiwi who is moving to Canberra to commence a PhD at ANU. I've spent the last few years working and studying around the world, living in Canada and the UK. I'm currently hiking the length of NZ so might not be the fastest at responding to messages, but I'm looking for a wonderful spot to call home when I arrive in Canberra at the end of March. I like to think I'm pretty chill to live with, love being active and outdoors and can be a bit of a science geek. I love the odd tasty beer but don't party much these days (does a pot luck count as a party?!) and am hoping to find similar people to live with.
Hi! My name is Acacia-Rae (Rae is a bit easier). I'm looking for a new cool home for me and my little best mate, Teddy. Teddy is a 1 year old cat who is more like a dog: loves people, plays fetch and thinks humans are pretty alright. He is super well behaved, litter trained and comes with actual real estate agent reference! I'm also pretty well trained and can come with references. I have lived in share houses for the past 10 years, some with siblings, some with mates. I am a smoker, but you'll never catch me doing it inside, and I try to be very conscious of any non-smokers' space. I work in a law firm, full time, as an EA. In my down time I like to hang out with my few mates who haven't left Canberra, go to the gym, read, and kiss Teddy on his silly head. An added bonus, some may say, is that I love gardening (may or may not be good at it) so very keen to help if your home has some greenery. Can't wait to hear from ya, future housemate!
Single, public servant, looking for a chill LGBTI inclusive abode. I'm house trained, clean, can't cook, can do laundry, and can't dance (but I still do anyway). Introverted but still sociable and respectful of people's space and time. Always up for a chat when I’m burning my dinner. Lil bit of a GAYmer, have came first in Tetris 99 once or twice. Can play a tiny selection of board games and enjoy a good cry. Looking for a home rather than just a place to crash. Send a message if you think I might be a good fit. Look forward to hearing from you.
Moved to Canberra this year for work as a high school teacher. Often I leave early and am home late. I have lived in shared housing for the most part of 8 years so I'm neat, tidy, clean and value respect of shared space. I enjoy quiet and personal time but also like catching up with housemates in conversation and some social time over a meal, coffee or wine on occasion. My interests include podcasts, the arts, yoga, walks, dance and netball. Often I enjoy going out for good food and wine, or live music and theatre, as well as exploring the city I live in. Non-smoker. Have a car so prefer off-street parking. Pool or proximity to water a plus. 12 month minimum stay, option to extend a bonus. MUST have a window in bedroom (I’ve seen a lot of new apartments without one).
I am moving to Canberra from Sydney to work in the APS. I am pretty active, gym, enjoy all sports, watching movies, reading and always keen for a nice meal. I am a very relaxed and easy-going person, who is tidy and likes to keep things neat and organised. Happy to chat, socialise and hang out but also respect my housemates need for space and privacy.
I'm friendly, tidy and easy going. I moved here from W.A a few months ago and Canberra has really surprised me and grown on me! I have lived with plenty of house mates before. I am happy to chill out with a tea on my own or have a chat over a couple of drinks/meal. Im 26, work full-time in the city and I love pets if you have them! Looking for a room to rent and am fairly flexible.
