Hello! I am Eleanor. I will shortly be moving back to Australia after a few years overseas and am looking for a new place to call home. I am a professional and work Monday - Friday, clean up after myself and will always buy more toilet roll! Not interested in shared rooms thank you – I think I sometimes mutter in my sleep and don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable.
Hello, We are a Turkish couple and our names are Ozan and Ceren. We are 25 years old and we will stay in Sydney for at least a year for educational purposes. Beside education, we will work full time too. We are clean, friendly and quiet couple. We respect others privacy as well. We don't smoke or don't have pet. We'd like to rent the room from December to June. Let us know what you think, best regards.
Hi, we are visiting Sydney for New Year's for a week and need a place to stay. We are both friendly and sociable as well as being respectful of people's privacy. We would probably be out exploring Sydney during our stay but also happy to get to know our hosts over a drink or two if there's time.
Hi there, I'm looking for a room in a shared place in the inner west of Sydney. I don't mind if you're black, blue, taller than me, fat, hairy, bald or even white. It doesn't matter, really. But if you think Trump is a great bloke, I'd rather stay where I am now. Same if the place is on Paramatta road. My housemate skills are top notch which means I'm able to empty my plate with almost everything ending in the bin. I also flush the toilet after me a decent amount of times if not all the times. Being french, I barely wash myself and I'm gonna rip you off instead of paying my rent! More seriously, I work full time, like doing heaps of things, sometimes out and about, sometimes in. I definitely like to have a chat every now and again. Also the room needs to be big enough to fit a digital piano (don't worry, your ear buds will be preserved as I practice with headphones). Feel free to shoot a message!
Hey I'm Andrew / 36 yo, and I am moving to Sydney super soon, to start Personal Training and an online coaching business. I'm gay, friendly, pretty chilled and a responsible flatmate who keeps the place clean and tidy without being OCD. I am looking for a place I can call home but something that's not too much of a party house either. Love to hear back from you as I am in Sydney fairly soon.
Born and raised in Sydney, young photographer and in general a lover and participant of the creative arts such as music, fashion, visual arts and more. I have a pet dog, she's about 10 years old and can be quite anxious but overall she is kind. I like to have fun and party the night through though I am still respectful of other peoples needs and schedules. I am comfortable with living with women and LGBT+ people, and I especially hope I get to live with other cool creatives. I'm also a vegan, but I'm still okay with living with people who aren't. All that I mostly require is a room big enough for a desk, an iMac and my photographic equipment, as well as other essentials. I'm looking for a home anywhere between Enmore and Paddington. Other than that, my only other hobby is DJing and playing music. Hit me up if I'm your guy!
Hi! I'm Sally, and my boyfriend is George. I'm a mathematician and he is a mechanical engineer, but we're both working at casual jobs in CBD right now. We're nice, tidy and easy-going people. And looking for a room for two of us. You can text me: 0451 046 047. Hope meet you soon...
I love good food and company, I enjoy cooking and I'm very into clean spaces. I am an actor and playwright, social but definitely keep a low profile through the week as I'm usually busy with creative pursuits/rehearsals/hospo jobs. I'm a reliable, relaxed and down to earth person. I'm not a pet owner but I get along with dogs and cats swimmingly.
Relaxed and easy going. Respectful of space, tidy, independent though like to make friends and enjoy a good energy at home. Happy to share a meal and a drink every now and then. Keep fit at the gym, Beach, yoga and running. Well travelled and plan to keep that going whenever possible, I used to volunteer at the RSPCA, those with animals would be a definite plus to live :) Work in holiday periods and study, science Rent and bills are always on time. If this sounds like a fit get in touch......cheers!
I have 5 years of hostel experience in my school life back in India. I have played division cricket and am one who is heavily into other sports as well (football, hockey and swimming namely). I am a huge foodie. I am hassle-free and friendly. I maintain cleanliness. I love music of all kinds. I love outdoor activities. I am a team player.
Hello :) :) :) *****PLEASE NOTE I am currently in the UK (RETURNING EARLY DECEMBER) This means ... * I cannot view ANY places before Dec 1st * I am willing to WHATSAPP /Skype to get a sense of whether we should proceed, (but NOT TO MAKE MY DECISION/ pay upfront deposits/ ) I am great to live with as I have lived all over the globe, literally, since I was a kid! I was a Diplomat Brat and have been to school in places such as Singapore..Indonesia & NZ.. The list goes onnnnn and onnnnnn. As an adult, I caught the travel bug and am an online coach and travel the world with my son, aged 3. He's a pretty chill dude, and very respectful of furnishings and space, as he has been to 11+ countries since 6 weeks of age, and more airbnbs than we can count! :) I am currently in Glasgow, UK. Returning to Sydney and wish to stay LONG TERM , ideally 6-12 months in a house, (hopefully longer if we get the right dynamic). I work from a co-working space (The Hub) during the week, and my son attends a preschool 4 days, with a view to 5 in January 2019. We are out and about A LOT (coworking space events...parks..playgrounds...all the free events Sydney has to offer etcetcetc). I have to say that I can afford our own place, and I did this pre moving to the UK, but honestly, after living with people again, I can see my son and I thrive on it and it gets pretty isolating as a solo parent! If you tell me you are a quiet household or that you're out working a lot, I actually think this is a HUGE MINUS. I want to live with people who are friendly, and well, we are loud ourselves -I play music , as does my son (expect to hear Fat Freddy's drop at 7.30am while we get ready for school...). I'm a pretty chill person. In saying that, I like to tidy up, clean, and cook a lot! (Don't worry, I don't care if you do or not, I just like to ;-). ) *SUPER OPEN MINDED *RESPECTFUL *RELAXED *LOVE COOKING *FINANCIALLY STABLE *SOCIAL *SUSTAINABLE *DIRECT & AMAZING COMMUNICATOR (no passive-aggressive post-it notes or txts, ugh) *LGBT friendly *Great music collection, particularly DRUM AND BASS! I get that living with a 3 year old (***HE'S THREE, THE THING WOULDNT LET ME ADD HIM UNLESS HE WAS 16 YRS OR OLDER-HAHAHA) is not everyone's idea of an ideal housemate, and yet I encourage you to meet us, and then judge for yourselves! I come with good references and referees, as does my little dude, just ask :). *I also have a fair bit of furniture (dining table/butcher's bench/couch, artwork) which is in storage in Sydney at the moment, from our last home. I would love an UNFURNISHED PLACE. I guess I'll tell you about my favourite living arrangements that seemed to work best for us: BERLIN WAREHOUSE *We had a massive room and ensuite *The house was full of DJs and artists (perfect for my son to enjoy company and they were always making noise themselves, so didn't mind much what he was up to) *we got to be social and have company, but also enough space to retreat when we wanted GLASGOW HOUSE *This was a small space with one other gay woman and her cat. She worked a lot at a bar. When she was home, we were social and shared a vino or three while my son played. Will miss this place!! My son loves all animals and loves giving the dog a walk if you have one ! Spaces that DIDNT work: * People who are allergic to kids (they exist) *Toxic people who are low vibe and negative *If you communicate passive-aggresively via sms or post it notes and have no communication skills *Uptight/super anal people *If you are a light-sleeper (sometimes he wakes up at 5am, that's kids for you) ---Haaaa! That's what earplugs and wine are for riiiight? *If you work all the time and want to come home to peace and quiet *If you just want to sit in your room all day/night Looking forward to hearing from all the high-vibe lovers who'd be keen to setup a great space together or already established a space for us to add to! Hi there! I am a 25 year old female looking to find a place with some friendly, like-minded roommates who are up for some occasional weekend activities or a few drinks at a nearby pub! I am currently living in Wollongong, but am looking to move to Sydney early next year when I start my new, full-time job in the engineering industry. I just came back home from Canada, where I worked and travelled for 2 years. I have a bubbly, positive personality and have developed great friendships with my past roommates. I am clean, love to cook for people and am always up for an adventure (but also enjoy my quiet time).
Ryan (24) from Scotland. I’m an easy going guy who likes to keep things tidy around the house. I’m very punctual with rent and enjoy having a couple drinks but also respect privacy and space. If I sound like youre ideal candidate or wanna know more, let me know :)
I'm an Engineering Student at Sydney Uni. If i'm not in Uni I spend my time in the gym. I enjoy cooking especially for friends though I usually meal prep. I'm a bit of a neat freak and it's safe to say I keep my things and my schedule well organized. I love meeting new people and making new friends and exploring everything this city has to offer before I graduate.

Hey there!! I'm an American backpacker currently on a gap year before I attend university in 2018 back in the States. I'm visiting Australia on a working holiday, and as of writing this am travelling down the well-beaten backpacking trail from Cairns to Sydney! I'll first end up in Sydney at around the middle of November, where after a couple of days to decompress I'll start looking for jobs and a place to live if I haven't found one yet! I should have a couple of weeks left on my bedhopper hostel pass to get me through to the very beginning of December. I plan on working over the summer from approximately the end of November to the middle of March, and it's during those three-to-four months of time that I'm looking for somewhere to stay. I'm looking to bartend ideally (although if push comes to shove I'm not picky), so I might come home at odd hours (although I'll absolutely be as quiet and respectful of your sleeping schedule as is humanly possible). I'm primarily looking to save heaps of money over the summer with access to an amazing city to explore (hence why I'm trying to beat the odds and do so in Sydney as opposed to a cheap town somewhere), so I won't be keen on more than the odd night out, which would make me a pretty easy-going and low-maintenance, albeit nocturnal, roommate. Would be much more a fan of board games and drinks on a night in with friends. I'm also trying to learn to cook as best as I can (that's one of my summer goals!), so if you're good with trying a variety of potentially-terrible-but-hopefully-brilliant dishes and dealing with strange smells as I furiously clean the kitchen to get rid of them as I get better at my craft, we'll make a wonderful team :) I consider myself a very clean, chill, and diligent person that would make a lovely addition to practically any group as long as you're keen to have me. My preferences with regards to roommates are around the ages of 18-25ish, clean, looking to talk and hang out (I'd love to be your friend especially considering my social contact is limited to other transient backpackers and my 14-time-zone-away friends at home), and respectful. I'm one of the most laid-back people you'll ever meet for 99% of things, and flexibility is also something that I appreciate in others. Bonus points if you're into indie rock, scary movies, or romantic comedies as those are my three culture passions! Otherwise--I'm a cat lover, wannabe writer, music maniac, budding globetrotter, tea fanatic, and avocado addict who would love to meet you and see if I fit into your place!
