I'm a student from the Netherlands and I'll be living in Australia for the first time in my life. I have lived in the US before and I have traveled a bit already. I like to explore things, find new adventures. I'm into photography and videography, so if you want to work with me on some cool projects, I'm down! Also a plus, I know how to cook!
I am from India. I have stayed in UK for 4 years for my Bachelors degree and in China for 2 years, I know how sharing a house/place concept works pretty well ;) I am moving to Sydney for my Masters degree in Professional Engineering Aerospace at the University of Sydney. I would like to rent a place from 1st July 2019. I like to stay busy, staying fit and occupied with outdoor activities like hiking, sports or gymming. Also enjoy company and conversation with few beers. I am very good at giving space to my housemates and I don't interfere. I always intend to be helpful when asked. In the matter of conflict il be straightforward and discuss the issue in a polite manner. I am quite structured on weekdays and like to have fun, relax and/or socialising on weekends Sydney is going to be a new experience and as everyone I'd like to start it economically efficient as well. Please feel free to contact if you think we can be appropriate house buddies! Cheers, Vidisha
I'm an American trying to find my way back into the inner-inner west (please don’t message for places that are not inner-inner west). I have yet to give my notice at my current location, which is 3 weeks, so the place I'm looking to move into needs to be available around the second week of December. At a glance: - $280/week budget (all bills in this) - Inner inner west/inner city, <30 mins to Central by public transit, with walking time - preferably furnished - ZERO interest in boarding houses. Prefer the person I’m renting from also live in the same place. - absolutely must be pest-free and clean (old is fine!!) - private room only (this shouldn’t have to be said but sadly it seems I need to explicitly say it) - move in during early-mid December I keep to myself for the most part but I'm social enough that you won't worry about there being a dead body in the room and I'm certainly open to recapping the week over a wine or tea, I clean up all my messes (and I have too much experience cleaning up other people’s messes), and I always pay rent on time. Heck, even early if I can't pay on the scheduled day. I just won't suit a large sharehouse full of early 20s. I find things tend to stray into chaos when there's more than 3-4 unrelated people living under one roof... but it’s not necessarily a dealbreaker if the house is big. But I am NOT looking for a boarding house. I prefer to actually be renting from the people I'm living with, or be put on the lease with them. Currently I live with a married couple, renting a room in their recently acquired apartment. It's new and snazzy but it's expensive and in a sad, bleak part of Sydney. They have been great to live with (the best people I've ever rented from), but I need to find a cheerier suburb. My budget is listed as 280--for me this means all up, all bills, up to 280/week. Additionally, as I am a foreigner, I would GREATLY prefer a furnished place, at least just with a double/queen bed--I don't want to be stuck trying to sell off furniture. I am NOT interested in bleak, gray, apartment-centric suburbs. Thanks for reading and lemme know if what you've got fits! PS: Feel free to ask me about the time I used to live in Glebe with a hoarder who managed to infest the house with fleas while we had no pet. I noped out of that fast and lost so much money in the process. It would explain to you how much of a legend flatmate I am and my perseverance in times of adversity. But really, please, no bug infestations.
Hi, I’m Sam. I’m 20, and studying at Sydney Uni, but I also work part time as a paralegal and a bartender. I love going to the beach, reading, finding new places to eat and catching up with mates over a drink. I’m good for cooking and cleaning up after myself. Ultimately I’m looking for a place where I can meet some like minded people who enjoy chilling and being friendly with each other.
I am just a girl which is sometimes tired, sometimes sick, sometimes sad, but always funny and in a good mood. I am from Belgium and I came here to improve my English and meet people. I would meet you with pleasure for a first contact and to visit your place, then we can see if we match or not! :)
I keep things clean, have an awesome personality and always up to hang out with new people. I am studying music so I would rather live with people who are okay with music being played regularly and being okay with jamming every now and then. ***Not looking for a Place until late Dec/Jan***
Design architect, straight, mature, friendly, and reliable. Have been renting for the past few years, have seen and experienced all kinds of things, been a housemate, landlord, caretaker myself. If you can read this, then I'm still looking! Have a 2.4m long table, so it needs to go somewhere. Also 2 x corner chairs and a car. Don't need to be furnished. Speaks Mandarin and Malay and some other useless dialects too. Career driven, I'm always busy with something work related. I'm also flexible with the location, as long as it is not too far away from public transport.
Hi everyone! I'm easy going and always clean up after myself. I usually keep to myself but am always happy to chat. I love animals, particularly dogs so I'm fine if you have a pet. I'm an IT student from Melbourne looking for a place to stay somewhere in Sydney for the rest of my internship (12 January to 12 February). Hope to hear from you :D
I'm an art student at UNSW begining February of 2018 and wish to move closer to my campus. I'm a respectful, mature person who takes pride in my home and my possessions. I'm open minded and appreciate people and their own individuality. I'm keen to meet new people and start a new chapter in my life.
I'm a 27 years old guy from Germany and I’m doing a PhD at USYD for the next three years at the Architecture faculty in Design & Urban Media. I lived in Sydney already in 2016 and I enjoyed it so much that I’m really looking forward to be back. I'm interested in art, design, tech, making, music and enjoy football and running. During the week I will be quite busy with university, however, in the evening or on the weekend I’m always up up for a beer or having dinner. I'm easygoing, house-trained and also lived in shared apartments before - for example in 2016 in Newtown - a place I would love to live again:) If you think that I would fit in, I would be happy to hear from you! Cheers, Marius
Hello! I am Eleanor. I will shortly be moving back to Australia after a few years overseas and am looking for a new place to call home. I am a professional and work Monday - Friday, clean up after myself and will always buy more toilet roll! Not interested in shared rooms thank you – I think I sometimes mutter in my sleep and don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable.
Hello, We are a Turkish couple and our names are Ozan and Ceren. We are 25 years old and we will stay in Sydney for at least a year for educational purposes. Beside education, we will work full time too. We are clean, friendly and quiet couple. We respect others privacy as well. We don't smoke or don't have pet. We'd like to rent the room from December to June. Let us know what you think, best regards.
Hi, we are visiting Sydney for New Year's for a week and need a place to stay. We are both friendly and sociable as well as being respectful of people's privacy. We would probably be out exploring Sydney during our stay but also happy to get to know our hosts over a drink or two if there's time.
Hi there, I'm looking for a room in a shared place in the inner west of Sydney. I don't mind if you're black, blue, taller than me, fat, hairy, bald or even white. It doesn't matter, really. But if you think Trump is a great bloke, I'd rather stay where I am now. Same if the place is on Paramatta road. My housemate skills are top notch which means I'm able to empty my plate with almost everything ending in the bin. I also flush the toilet after me a decent amount of times if not all the times. Being french, I barely wash myself and I'm gonna rip you off instead of paying my rent! More seriously, I work full time, like doing heaps of things, sometimes out and about, sometimes in. I definitely like to have a chat every now and again. Also the room needs to be big enough to fit a digital piano (don't worry, your ear buds will be preserved as I practice with headphones). Feel free to shoot a message!
Hey I'm Andrew / 36 yo, and I am moving to Sydney super soon, to start Personal Training and an online coaching business. I'm gay, friendly, pretty chilled and a responsible flatmate who keeps the place clean and tidy without being OCD. I am looking for a place I can call home but something that's not too much of a party house either. Love to hear back from you as I am in Sydney fairly soon.
Born and raised in Sydney, young photographer and in general a lover and participant of the creative arts such as music, fashion, visual arts and more. I have a pet dog, she's about 10 years old and can be quite anxious but overall she is kind. I like to have fun and party the night through though I am still respectful of other peoples needs and schedules. I am comfortable with living with women and LGBT+ people, and I especially hope I get to live with other cool creatives. I'm also a vegan, but I'm still okay with living with people who aren't. All that I mostly require is a room big enough for a desk, an iMac and my photographic equipment, as well as other essentials. I'm looking for a home anywhere between Enmore and Paddington. Other than that, my only other hobby is DJing and playing music. Hit me up if I'm your guy!
Hi! I'm Sally, and my boyfriend is George. I'm a mathematician and he is a mechanical engineer, but we're both working at casual jobs in CBD right now. We're nice, tidy and easy-going people. And looking for a room for two of us. You can text me: 0451 046 047. Hope meet you soon...
I love good food and company, I enjoy cooking and I'm very into clean spaces. I am an actor and playwright, social but definitely keep a low profile through the week as I'm usually busy with creative pursuits/rehearsals/hospo jobs. I'm a reliable, relaxed and down to earth person. I'm not a pet owner but I get along with dogs and cats swimmingly.
