Hey! I'm super friendly and love to just chill with a cider and a pizza, I'm more of an cool bar type person than a nightclub type person but still love to hit the dance floor in both (not always a good idea...). I love yoga and art and am super into film so if you live with me I apologise in advance for asking you to pose or to hold my camera. Im looking for a place around the city area as I will be attending the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (aftrs) next year. I don't come with any pets but love animals and am very open to living with others with pets or who are willing to get pets. I also love to cook and will happily host a dinner party or just a chilled night in for everyone. hit me up if I sound like your kind of girl.
I'm 27, looking for a new place to move into. I work full time in advertising/media in Surry Hills, so ideally looking to be fairly close to work. I've lived in share houses before, and am a clean and tidy person - particularly within communal spaces. I definitely like the idea of living with people I can have a chat to when we're around but also do enjoy having my own space and am very respectful of the fact that you might too.
Hey there, My partner, Zach, and I are looking for somewhere to live. Ideally we are looking for 2 rooms in the same house, but happy to discuss one room options. A bit about us: I am a grad student in human geography at Sydney Uni, looking at displacement and urban redevelopment/gentrification. I'm about a year into my PhD, and moved here from London at the end of 2015. I currently live in Marrickville but need to move out end of Jan. My partner, Zach, is also a researcher but does logic [pure maths]. He is from Australia but has been in Europe for the last 8 years, and is moving back to Australia. We are friendly, easy going and very open minded. We are both used to living in shared houses and do our fair share of housework. We like hanging out with our housemates from time to time, but happy to give people their space as well. Besides my research, I enjoy long walks/hiking, theatre and travelling when I can. Zach likes cooking, hiking and reading. Not sure what else to put down, but feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions. Best, Pratichi
Communications professional working full-time in the CBD; warm and laidback, and fully house-trained. Very responsible and timely with rent and bills. My ideal evening in is likely to involve cooking up a nice meal, having a cuppa and reading a book, or watching Netflix. Ideal summer weekend would probably involve brunch (smashed avo, which is why I can't afford to buy and am still renting), a swim at the beach or a walk in a park, a G&T, more cooking, catching some kind of live performance, and a bit of PC gaming. Love animals (I'm an experienced dog and cat-sitter), so furry critters are great! NB: I'm currently looking for a furnished room :)
We are both very outgoing and active couple. Looking for somewhere quiet but spacious with tidy people. We both work 40 hour weeks and travel back to New Zealand quite frequently. I love to cook and we both love dogs so if you have any - we're always happy to walk them. We love getting outdoors. I'm getting into my fitness and we're both getting married in 2019! We don't have too many possessions but would like to fill at the very least a double bedroom with our combined stuff
Hello! The name is Loni (Lonbon, Lonbat, Londog Millionaire, Lonita, Lonald McDonald, etc.). Here are the facts: - I'm a 24yo freelance classical harpist - I work 2 jobs - Boarding Co-ordinator at an all girls boarding school in Potts Point and a theory and sight singing teacher at Sydney Children's Choir - Social butterfly but certainly enjoy my solo time - Love to cook, drink wine, host dinners - Am the owner of the following inconveniently sized items: 1 large concert grand harp, 1 smaller Irish Harp and 1 Toyota Rav4 What I am in search of: - A spacious home with enough room for my two harps (be it a study room or that my future bedroom is big enough for them to fit) - A place with car space (either on a safe street or a property with off street parking) - 1 or 2 friendly housemates NB: I much prefer personal interaction so I'd be more than happy to introduce myself in person when considering a place.
I am an Architect and Phd Student working and studying full-time. I just moved to sydney from Canberra for work. I am very open , friendly and easy going. I love meeting new people but also love to enjoy my quiet time to reflect and study as well. I am very organized, tidy and respectful of the rights of others especially in a shared apartment scenario. I am looking for a place that meets my needs of coming home to relax after a busy day and also quiet enough for me to study at night. I get along with pretty much anyone and everyone.
I'm a 23 year-old student doing design and working part time. I love design :). I'm not a smoker and I only drink occasionally. I always respect other people's space and would like to keep public space clean when living with other people. I'm OK with people who smoke as long as they smoke at reasonable places. I am very independent and can be quite busy sometimes due to work and school. But of course I would love to have a chat with my roomies when we meet, have some drinks and make friends. I'm passionate about all creative industries and am open to people with different views and interests. I currently work and practice in architecture and design related fields and also do sculpture in my free time. I need a place to stay for at least 6 month soon, starting from around 31st January 2017. Please let me know if you have a room available or would like to share an apartment with me. :)
Hey! My name is Jordan, I'm 20 years old and consider myself to be a pretty good room mate. I am clean and respect that other people live in the house, I work full time and am very reliable. I am a happy, easy going person looking for somewhere to call home. However, I do come with a fur baby named Ruby, Ruby is a 3 year indoor Persian cat who is completely toilet/house trained and has never done her business anywhere other than her litter. She has had all vaccinations is desexed and gets a bath once a week. She is quiet and doesn't go outside so she won't bring any nasty surprises home. So I will need roommates that don't mind having a kitty around, thank you! ☺️
Young professional from Melbourne considering moving to Sydney permanently in the near future. Don't know much about Sydney suburbs, but work would be in the city, so as long as it's not too far out and easy to transport. Not interested in sharing rooms, and prefer to have my own bathroom. Pretty easy-going, like food & wine, a good laugh. Probably would be working extremely long hours, home should be the place to unwind and put my feet up. I have some bedroom furniture and considering hiring a moving company to bring them all up. Bedroom can't be too small as I have a queen size bed, a student desk and chair (with bookshelf) as well as a cabinet. Apologies for not being able to give an exact date to move in yet, in the process of finding the right job.

Hi potential roomies! Im a fun outgoing working professional who loves a good laugh, loves a nice glass of Pinot at the end of a hard week! I'm looking for people who I can live with in an enjoyable and fun environment but also go out for a meal, drink and coffee with! I am in a relationship but will spend most of my time outside of the house, (I work full time 9:30-7pm, and love having a bit of fun every now and then!) however I love to chill, and have lazy days around the house. Looking to meet some great people and move to the closer to the city from Cronulla. Let me know if this seems like you and I'd me more than happy to meet you! :)
I'm 23, from Scotland on a working holiday visa and looking to settle in Sydney for the next few months. I will be looking for full time work. I am clean, easy going and sociable. I enjoy sport, going to the beach and look forward to meeting new people.
I'm 22, working a receptionist for Google and IBM. I'm responsible, kind, clean and always pay my bills on time. Definitely queer and veg friendly, also love animals. I'm a creative personality, I love movement, dance, singing (not at 3 in the morning I promise), yoga and pilates. I've been in Sydney 2 years and I'm looking for a long term place with people I would in time be able to call friends. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me and let me know if you want to meet so I can see your place.
I am a 22 year old newly graduated university student who is currently living at home, working part-time (around 4-6 days a week) in fashion retail. My home lifestyle is simple and quiet, if I am not out. Usually my parents are relatively preoccupied with outside engagements so I try to find as much time as possible to contribute with home chores such as the cleaning and cooking. With a healthy amount of balance in my life that I juggle between social activities / relaxation time / work, I do a routine daily inspection around the home and can always be trusted to immediately stock up on groceries or home utilities / necessities if it is running low for all members of the household to use. Cleanliness and general consideration for all others in the home are qualities I consistently manage to maintain. As a relatively busy, social, and out-going working young person, I like to keep my schedule filled with a variation of leisure activities, or social engagements. My interests are in fashion, films, music, literature and cooking. If I am not reading, writing, or watching films in my room, I have a love for spontaneous outdoor walks, day trips, or mini driving explorations and adventures. Please take into consideration of my several mini talents which could be of use from time-to-time in a shared-home living condition: I make rather good guacamole. I scrub bathroom tiles very meticulously. I am generous with contributions to groceries for the kitchen. I keep immensely quiet during late hours, and very early mornings. Rent will be paid consistently, never late. I have a helpful nature around the home. I am friendly, and polite.
I'm a 23 years old exchange student coming from Chile. I consider myself super tidy and clean. I have experience living in international share houses and I love to meet new people and share moments with them. I'm going to be studying at USYD for the whole term, so I'm looking for a nice and chill place where I can study and at the same time have cozy and quiet dinners with friends. I prefer private rooms, but if you have a good offer, don't hesitate to contact me! ** I'm arriving to Sydney on February 8th, since that date I'm able to inspect :)
Hey all, I'm a fun, friendly & outgoing Canadian here on a working holiday visa. I am currently living in Pyrmont with two Italian guys who I met whilest travelling in New Zealand last year. We are moving out of this flat on the 29th and are hoping to find a new place soon! We are clean, enjoy to socialize and cook together when we have the chance and are also respectful of others. We would like to find a house share/flat for the 3 of us, two rooms would be best (a double and a single) or we wouldn't mind having one room to share between the 3 of us.
Hey! I'm Amber from the US (Seattle, WA). I recently got my Master's and was working as a therapist (part-time) while also working as an Administrative Assistant in the states but decided to make the big move to Sydney! I've only been in this area for a couple of weeks but am loving it so far. I am looking for a laid back and peaceful atmosphere and really appreciate clean living areas. I enjoy exploring the lovely area of Sydney, a healthy and active lifestyle, meeting new people and enjoying all life has to offer! My personality is really easy going and enjoy the outdoors! I'm not afraid of hard work and I love trying new things. I would personally love to travel more and experience new cultures. I love to have a good laugh and spend time with quality people. I like cleanliness and will be happy to do my part of house work and will keep my room tidy, of course. I would ideally like to live in Surry Hills or Darlinghurst area :) Anything else - please ask!
i'm Jay, 31 from England. I'm an engineer and work on the railway which sounds a lot more boring than it is! I'm a clean, tidy and respectful housemate. I like football (the proper kind) and running really long distances. Being really honest I do like a glass of wine more than a beer but don't judge me!
Hey! My name is Alex and I am originally from Toronto in Canada and will be heading to Sydney for vet school! I'm a very positive person who is very studious and respectful. I am a clean individual who is very considerate when living with others. Chances are I will be quiet in my room studying or will be out at the library/in class. Feel free to ask for my social media and I will be happy to provide :). I am looking for a furnished place (private room, shared bathroom ok) to stay preferably within walking distance (10-20 minutes) to the University of Sydney campus. My budget is no more than $300, including internet + all bills. I am unable to attend inspections until February 7th.
Hi, I'm European, have been in Sydney for over 2 years, currently looking for new convenient place to stay, a single room, due to renovation of current house. I seriously don't want to share a flat/house with many people (preferably max 5 in total), moreover with someone who doesn't speak English. I would like to have my own room (furnished) and the apartment should be in good location nearby CBD. I'm friendly, cleanly, organized, reliable and don't smoke. I work as a waiter.
Hi I'm Nat, I just moved to Sydney from London for work (Market Research). I'm looking to settle in somewhere cool, with like-minded housemates that are up for being my pals and could be your very own resident pom (if you'll have me!) I'm fairly fun, energetic, social and outgoing but also enjoy my own company from time to time. Into yoga/keeping fit/healthy eating, especially during the week but I'm not crazy militant about it and would never say no to carbs. I love carbs. I also love to travel, cook (and eat) and the arts. This can span from dog videos on YouTube, to music festivals, to the Ballet. I'm not fussy, I just like to get out and experience stuff. As a housemate I'm clean, considerate and pretty much always up for a drink and a chat/starting a TV series when I'm around. Not such a party animal anymore, especially on school nights but I'm open-minded to the occasional house party if that's your jam. If you want to know any more info, please ask away!
I’m a young girl from Tasmania who's about to begin part time study (fashion business) and work (hospitality) in Sydney - I am very laid back and love a good chat but after living in both a school boarding house and a number of share houses also understand the importance of personal space and respect! I'm ready to move in straight away! Would prefer my own private room although I'd considering sharing a room if I found the right flatmates! I look forward to hearing from you!
I'm very friendly, creative, nature and yoga loving, with a healthy commitment to cheese and wine. I have an 11yo adopted cat, she is amazing - very quiet and house trained. Together we make a great addition to any household! I like being social but am also respectful of people's space and know how to do the share-housing gig, have been doing it for 5+ years now. Working full-time in hospo, studied Fine Arts, originally a country bumpkin turned Sydney lover. Want to move asap as current landlord is a pain in the butt, please get in touch!
Hey everyone! I am moving from Hawaii (North Shore Oahu) to pursue my degree in physiotherapy at Sydney Uni. Looking for a place to call home whilst studying. My passions: Surfing, Yoga, Pilates, Free Diving, Cooking, Gardening, Netflix, and the occasional porter:) I am a clean, quiet and respectful roommate whom is looking for a long term place. Furnished would be ideal but will work with whatever is available. I am very laid back and not a partier though I do enjoy a healthy social life. School is my priority so Ill be looking for places close to Sydney uni. Cheers!
Hi, I'm a professional working in the Brisbane CBD looking to find someone to share with one or two others in a central location. I'd prefer to meet someone to find a place together, but happy to move into an existing property if the fit is right. Selling points for Michael include: - Clean and tidy, no stranger to a vacuum cleaner; - Produces baked goods for you from time to time; - Can bring along a high quality lounge suite; - Friendly, but happy to give you your space; - I won't always be just hanging around the house; - Comes with access to his Stan subscription. I'd appreciate meeting one or two like-minded, reasonably tidy people to share with. Let me know if you'd like to discuss this further, I'm happy to meet for coffee/apartment hunting.
Hey, I'm a 23 year old newby doctor looking for a place around RPA with some cool people who like to socialise but also respect privacy. I like animals, am cool with every walk of life and will probably spend a fair bit of time at work, but would love to come and wind down over a glass of wine after work.
Sisters looking for a house that has 2 rooms available so we can live together. I have just moved back to Sydney from Bangalow/Byron area and Abbey is already living in Camperdown. I am studying full-time at university in my 4th year and work part-time. Abbey is a high-school art teacher working full-time. We are both extremely clean, tidy, happy, respectful, positive and friendly. Work hard but also like to have a good time. We enjoy listening to music mainly rock, playing guitar, surfing, nature and hanging out with friends.
Fresh from the boat Italian guy. 29 YO, tidy and clean. Sociable person but I also like quite moments and chill on the couch. I work in hospitality so my hours are a bit stretched out along the day. Just looking to spend some great moments in Aussie and meet new people.
Hey I'm Minty! 28, friendly easy going, mature, respectful, clean and tidy, looking for a private room in a quiet, clean, non-smoking, non-party house please! I'm returning to study so I'll be juggling uni, studying, work and hopefully still maintain some kind of social life! Generally, I am quite relaxed and quiet at home, but would not mind socialising and catching up with flatmates over dinner or drinks when I’m free. I LOVE FOOD AND COFFEE. I also enjoy cooking, cycling, running and yoga.
Hi my Name is Kaya and im a Swiss/Aussie Expat =) I just recently moved to Australia from Switzerland seeking the sun and a bit of big city life. I am a very kind, funny and talkative. I also worked as an Au-Pair so i know how to cook, bake and clean and i am quite responsible but im not scared to have lots of fun. Small perk from my side, my family has a wine business so i have easy acces to good wine.
My name is Sinem (in the middle) and I am a 23 yo medical student studying at The University of Sydney and RPA Hospital. I'm pretty quite during the week as I'm either studying or in hospital in the day, so tend to prefer coming home to eat comfort food and lay on the couch watching various TV shows or movies (currently watching old Gilmore Girls for the first time). I casually babysit for two families and thanks to Malcom Turnbull I'm set on the paying rent department. I like to work out and keep fit - not consistently so if you do that would be great motivation. When I'm stressed with study, I tend to either clean or cook - two things which have come in handy living with others - I don't have a big sweet tooth so hopefully you enjoy cupcakes or macarons. I'm on a mission to try all the smashed avos around Sydney so I spend most of my weekends alternating between that, having a drink with friends, going to the beach or hibernating during exam time (two times a year). I'm currently in Melbourne until the 28th of January so I won't be able to do an in person inspection, but I'm happy to go by photos as long as a Skype interview also occurs. Hope to find a place :)
Hey! I'm Kelly, 24, full time hairdresser from England and will be returning to Sydney on the 25th of this month and need a private room in a share house (or apartment or whatever!) ASAP. I am open to the location as long as it is easy to commute into the city centre. I'm fun, friendly, easy-going, clean, sociable but respectful of privacy. Looking for like-minded flat buds to share with. Please message me so we can chat if you're interested :) Need room to be available the day I arrive back in Sydney so happy to Skype and Face-time!
So it's kinda awfully difficult to just jump into telling somebody why you're fun, or like are you supposed to tell them that you're not fun so that they're more likely to give you a place cause you don't party? #justsharehousethings I'm Toby, I'm a professional musician/tutor and I love a house that smells like Jazz first thing in the morning. My hobbies include listening to hip-hop and wondering how somebody as ethnically ambiguous as myself could have turned out so white, looking at memes and trying to understand the whole "why" behind wine. I'm not the sort of guy who really throws party (legitimately have like 5-10 friends max and I work a lot, but most of them are really good looking and if not, they definitely have nice hair) but I really like going to them so am totally fine if you ever have them going on :) I do also have dope speakers for if a party is ever to be thrown Mostly spend my time at home listening to music/practicing but I can do all of that with headphones on so it won't disturb anybody. I'm a big fan of most animals and totally LGBTQI+ supportive so lowkey please don't ask me to live with you if you're hella transphobic/homophobic/sexist etc. because I'd like to live somewhere I feel comfortable taking my friends back to. No tea no shade, it's just really not my vibe. Kind of a prerequisite that the place has parking available; musicians have an awful lot of gear D: Pretty strictly limited at $300 a week so if your place costs more than this, please only message me if you wanna barter music lessons for discounts in rent. Kinda joking but mostly not really. But yaass, hit me up <3 xoxo Gossip Toby
I'm 24, from England and have been travelling the east cost for the past 4 months ! I am looking to settle in Sydney for the next few months, I will be looking for full time work and hopefully some nice housemates to socialise with ! :) I am very clean and tidy, love my own space but also don't like to lock myself away 24/7.
We are two easy going and positive girls that love to be outside and always keen to go out and have some little adventure! Lotta will study Fashion Design and I will be working at ABC studios. We are fun and love the good life, but we also can take responsibility and good care of anything, and we like it clean.
Professional guy in his mid twenties, work full time in the CBD. Easy to get on with, friendly guy who likes having a chill night in or out. Ideally after professional people who are tidy and relaxed.

Hi there! I'm originally from Perth and am about to move to Sydney to start my first year at USYD to study a double degree of Science/Arts. I'm a neat and easy going person who enjoys a mix of socialising and time spent by myself. I love spending time with a good book but also love having a good meal with good people. I just love food. I'm originally from Indonesia but have mostly grown up in various places around Australia, so if you'd like to chat with me about your next trip to Bali then I'm your gal. My goal this year is to have more fun, eat more food, and pet more dogs. Looking forward to meeting you!
Moving down to Sydney from Cairns for a new job in a NFP law firm. I am an easy going guy who is clean, good to live with :) am looking for a place for either short term (so I have somewhere to stay while I look for something more permanent) or straight into something long term if it is with the right people - I like living with people who are chilled, friendly and without drama. I work hard during the week but am also very social, love to grab a beer, see a band, but also enjoy my downtime - as well as getting out and about - swimming, camping, hiking, other adventures checking out the surrounding areas of Sydney. say hi :)
Hey guys, I'm Manni! I'm a 27-year-old working professional moving up from Melbourne. As well as being outgoing, I’m also very chilled out. Would love to find easy going, outgoing housemates. I’m clean, tidy and easy to get along with. Would love to check out the night life of Sydney. Hit me up if you're keen by shooting me a message here or preferably by ringing/messaging me. Cheers, Manni
Hi I'm Lucy and I'm looking for a bright happy room of my own in a home with some friendly housemates. I'm 31, a full-time student and freelance graphic designer. I like to read/watch movies and shows, cook and do yoga. Weekends I'm usually working or doing homework, catching up with friends or just enjoying home time. I love to travel and do so as much as possible, enjoy a laugh and a beer. Please note: I am NOT interested in shared rooms.
I'm a young professional working in media/marketing looking for a place close enough to the city that I can get out of bed 30 minutes before work, but far enough away that I can relax on the weekend with a quiet coffee. I'm pretty friendly and easy going. I love books and movies, as well as a good chat about books and movies.
I am an Indian accounting professional moving to Sydney in January 2017 and need an accommodation - 1 bedroom with private bathroom preferably. I am a non-smoker, who likes to keep his house clean and tidy. I am a fitness enthusiast and would love to play a sport or hang out with my flatmates in my free time.
I am 19 years old girl from Germany. I am currently on a working holiday visa backpacking though Australia. At the moment I am living in Sydney and looking for a flat. I am a neat and tidy person to live with, I enjoy living together with others and meeting new people.
Hello everyone! I'm looking for a share house in CBD or close to CBD or North Sydney. I am an accountant and work in finance in CBD. I'm an easy going person and enjoy hanging out with friends, love food, cooking and fond of pubs/bars. I enjoy cooking and like to stay fit and workout regularly. Like to spend time chilling out watching movies/netflix when free. I would be up for a good laugh and time with my housemates but I respect personal space and privacy too. I like my place to be clean and organised at an appropriate level. A Non smoker. I would prefer staying with working professionals. I'm a sociable guy and would be keen to move in with housemates I can be friends with. A dog in the house will be a bonus. I would love to hear from you if you feel I will be a good fit.
Living in Sydney since Jan 2013 in various suburbs of lower north shore. Lived in share houses for the first year and a half then in my own place where I am today. Recently started a new position in the city as a consultant and the lower north shore is getting a bit stale so it is time to move to the other side of the harbour bridge. Teams up only please, not looking for a room. Looking to team up with one or two amazing housemate(s) to start a lease at a new property in the inner city. Don't have a fixed date on when I'd like to move out but ideally by the end of Q1 2017. Currently living in a large one bedroom apartment so I've got all the furnishings for a place but happy to put extra in storage or just sell we decide we don't need some of it. It is ok if you don't have any furnishings of your own for the communal areas, you'd just need to furnish your own room. About me: - In case you're pronouncing my name wrong in your head, it is pronounced as me-high-low (as one word) - Born in Montenegro (Serbian), living in NZ since I was 10 years old, still have an East Euro accent - Senior Engineer, Software & Computer Systems - Regularly train at Anytime Fitness - Very clean and tidy. I can also cook! - Love the outdoors - hiking, beaches, exploring new locations - Love live events - music festivals, concerts and outdoor events My ideal flatmate: - Not a couch potato, someone active who likes to get out and about - Follows a healthy eating lifestyle. Bonus points if you're into weight lifting too - No couples please - Working professional - Likes to explore Sydney/Australia - food events, music festivals, outdoor parks etc. My ideal property: - Two or three bedroom apartment - Location should be inner city, not too fussed whether it is west (Newtown, Surry Hills etc) or east (Potts Point, Darlinghurst) or south (Alexandria, Mascot etc) but within 15 km radius of the city, south of the harbour bridge - I have a car so I need covered parking, happy to pay a higher share of rent to cover the extra cost of parking if I'm the only one with the car. - It would be ideal but not necessary for the property to have access to NBN/fiber. Internet speed in Oz is a pretty average and there are properties with NBN connectivity in the inner city worth consideration. - Train access or not far from a train station. I work in the city so driving is out of the question. - Air conditioning... because its Sydney If you're considering me as a potential team up for a new place, drop me a line and we can meet for a coffee and get introduced in person first. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Hi there, I am a positive and easy-going 31-year old Dutchy who will be in Sydney from Feb 11 - May 24, 2017 to attend a full-time graphic design course in Sydney CBD. I love the sun, sharing meals (and cooking them), yoga, exploring and many other things that are too much to list here. If you want to know more, please feel free to ask any time! :-) As I will be studying occasionally when I am home, I am looking for a private room in a sharehouse with easy-going and respectful flatmates, who keep the noise down and keep the kitchen, the toilet and the bathroom clean. I like socialising, but also like my privacy. I suppose it is a matter of finding the right balance with your flatmate(s). I will not bring any furniture, so the room needs to at least have a bed, a wardrobe and preferably a desk as well. Don't mind to share a bathroom. I love pets and don't mind sharing the space with them. So, if you are clean, know how to have a good chat and live close to the city, you have the place I am looking for! Please contact me! Cheers, Noor
