Hi my name is Michael. I'm 35 and work as a chef full time in the city. Looking for a Place rather urgently within a $200p/w budget. I'm clean, quiet, friendly and very easy to get along with. I'm at work most of the time so will be home mostly late at nite and on my weekends.
Very easy going and clean. We love to cook and to have a quiet beer with mates. We're both students at the University of Sydney. I (Tyler, 21) am studying Engineering and Commerce and Bridget (Jet, 20) is studying Architecture. We've just come back from a year overseas and are getting back into our studies. Our favourite pass-times are getting out and about, hiking, camping, gyming and patting dogs (or just straight up hugging and smooching them if you're Bridget). We're both always up for a good conversation and a glass of wine over dinner or Netflix (we're old people in disguise!)
Engaged couple looking to move out with kind, calm and funky people. We both work full-time in the CBD and are looking to move out to somewhere close to a tram stop or train station. We are organised, neat and enjoy a good chat. We can socialise and also appreciate time alone.
I am an architecture exchange student at The University of Sydney. I am from Spain and therefore I love nice weather and nice food. Good chats, doing sport, going to the cinema. I consider myself a travel lover. I respect privacy. I am responsible, clean, hard working and serious. Quite independent but also a friendly person. I used to go sailing and now I enjoy boxing or running to stay fit and healthy. I love sunbathing, going shopping, reading, discovering new places, museums, photography, pizza...
Felipe, 32, Male Full time Graphic Designer; Looking forward for a clean, and nice single place which I could call home. Responsible, easy going, clean & pet friendly. I am open to share/cook the occasional meal, have a conversation, or share a good beer once in a while. Pay rent and bills on time Feel free to send me a buzz anytime
Hi I’m Lucy, I’m 26, just finished my Masters of Architecture, and working full time to become a registered architect. I’m looking to move into another share house in about 2-3 months time with like-minded people, and a laid back and respectful atmosphere. I enjoy time outdoors, the beach, I workout at the gym before work, and live a fairly active life. I’m responsible, a clean and tidy living environment is important to me, and while I like downtime on my own, i’m also looking to catch up with housemates over the occasional dinner or wine. If you think I’d be an ideal fit, say hello! Preferences: no couples, no pets Ps. I’m the one on the left
WA guy who made the move to Sydney a couple of years ago. I am an aspiring actor/singer who works full-time as a receptionist at a medical practice for my day job. I am fun, kind, love to cook and always happy to help out with cleaning and keeping the house tidy. Always happy to hang out with my housemates and get to know them as well. :)
I'm Maïkl 25 years old from France. Improving my English. I am easy going, fun and tidy. Not looking for a party house but wine is always welcome! I'm working in Town Hall so I'm looking for a private room near the train station, no matter where but not to far. Drop me a message if you're interested or have any questions!
Hello :) :) :) I am great to live with as I have lived all over the globe, literally, since I was a kid! I was a Diplomat Brat and have been to school in places such as Singapore..Indonesia & NZ.. The list goes onnnnn and onnnnnn. As an adult, I caught the travel bug and am an online coach and travel the world with my son, aged 3. He's a pretty chill dude, and very respectful of furnishings and space, as he has been to 11+ countries since 6 weeks of age, and more airbnbs than we can count! :) I returned to Sydney, from Glasgow Scotland, and moved into a house which is not as communal as I'd hoped. I wish to stay LONG TERM , ideally 12 months in a house, (hopefully longer if we get the right dynamic). I work from a co-working space (The Hub) during the week, and my son attends a preschool 4 days. We are out and about A LOT (coworking space events...parks..playgrounds...all the free events Sydney has to offer etcetcetc). I have to say that I can afford our own place, and I did this pre moving to the UK, but honestly, after living with people again, I can see my son and I thrive on it and it gets pretty isolating as a solo parent! If you tell me you are a quiet household or that you're out working a lot, without a wish to socialise at home with us, I actually think this is a HUGE MINUS. I want to live with people who are friendly, and well, we are loud ourselves -I play music , as does my son (expect to hear Fat Freddy's drop at 7.30am while we get ready for school...). If you're going to be sitting eating dinner in your room, we won't be suited. I'm a pretty chill person. In saying that, I like to tidy up, clean, and cook a lot! (Don't worry, I don't care if you do or not, I just like to ;-). ) *SUPER OPEN MINDED *RESPECTFUL *RELAXED *LOVE COOKING *FINANCIALLY STABLE *SOCIAL *SUSTAINABLE *DIRECT & AMAZING COMMUNICATOR (no passive-aggressive post-it notes or txts, ugh) *BRING UP ANY ISSUES EARLY & RESPECTFULLY *LGBT friendly *Great music collection, particularly DRUM AND BASS! I get that living with a 3 year old (***HE'S THREE, THE THING WOULDNT LET ME ADD HIM UNLESS HE WAS 16 YRS OR OLDER-HAHAHA) is not everyone's idea of an ideal housemate, and yet I encourage you to meet us, and then judge for yourselves! I come with good references and referees, as does my little dude, just ask :). Also, if you have a whole property you want rented out, I would love to go on your lease! *I also have a fair bit of furniture (dining table/butcher's bench/couch, artwork) which is in storage in Sydney at the moment, from our last home. I would love an UNFURNISHED PLACE. I guess I'll tell you about my favourite living arrangements that seemed to work best for us: BERLIN WAREHOUSE *We had a massive room and ensuite *The house was full of DJs and artists (perfect for my son to enjoy company and they were always making noise themselves, so didn't mind much what he was up to) *we got to be social and have company, but also enough space to retreat when we wanted GLASGOW HOUSE *This was a small space with one other gay woman and her cat. She worked a lot at a bar. When she was home, we were social and shared a vino or three while my son played. Will miss this place!! My son loves all animals and loves giving the dog a walk if you have one ! Spaces that DIDNT work: * People who are allergic to kids (they exist) *Toxic people who are low vibe and negative *If you communicate passive-aggresively via sms or post it notes and have no communication skills *Uptight/super anal people *If you are a light-sleeper (sometimes he wakes up at 5am, that's kids for you) ---Haaaa! That's what earplugs and wine are for riiiight? *If you work all the time and want to come home to absolute peace and quiet (we aren't rowdy by any means, but we aren't house mice either) *If you just want to sit in your room all day/night *If you're unemployed *If you're addicted to substances *****PLEASE NOTE I am currently residing in the Randwick/Coogee area, so would need to give my current housemate adequate notice. Looking forward to hearing from all the high-vibe lovers who'd be keen to setup a great space together or already established a space for us to add to! X Pixie & Zen
Hey, my name is Kirsten, I’m 23 and I work full time for the tax office. I’m friendly and outgoing, love a chat and a wine, but also am respectful of other people’s space and enjoy my own time. I am clean and tidy and happy to share the chores that come with shared living spaces. I enjoy going for walks and brunches, and exploring new places on my weekends, and relaxation during the week. I’m looking for friendly, like minded roommates who have a sense of humour and are respectful.
My name is Linh and I'm studying at the University of Sydney. I'm looking for a place in the Inner West that's close to a train station. I'm a sociable person who loves a drink and/or chat but also enjoy time alone. As a living companion, I am tidy and appreciate cleanliness, and will do my fair share of chores. I'm also honest and can take criticism. I'm usually quite busy and may not be at home often.
Hello! Im Jenae an 18 year old from rural NSW and I have decided to undertake my first year of University at USyd on an equity scholarship studying a combined degree of Arts and Advanced Studies (Media and Communications). I am looking for a room in an affordable, comfortable and friendly share-house as I would struggle with the pricing of the on-campus accommodation. Ideally, my share-house would be exclusively females, or at least female dominated. I would also be interested in sharing with other undergraduate students. Thank you :)
Hi, I'm from England and I'm currently on a Working Holiday Visa. I'm looking for a room/place to rent near the beach but close to the city, or in the city. I mainly did office administration work in England so I'm looking to do that kind of work again, or try to find a more sociable job in a cafe, restaurant, etc. I'm very clean, tidy, a cat lover and for fun I like to go to the beach, explore new places, go for walks, listen to music and watch TV series and films. :)
Moving to Sydney from Melbourne for a sea change :) Love getting outdoors, the beach, cinema.out for dinners/drinks or just Netflix and a wine at home. I come with my 6 month old Maltese x Poodle Charlie who is a little super friendly to people and other dogs and very playful. He lives mostly indoors and sleeps in my room at night. A place with a courtyard/backyard would be great! I'm clean, friendly and respectful. Looking for flatmate/s who like to socialise occasionally but also enjoy their own company.
Hi! I'm a Primary School Teacher and currently doing casual work at a few different schools. I’m into surfing, yoga, basketball, hiking, films, books, and cooking delicious dinners. I have lived in share houses and flats in Milan, Canada, Jindabyne, and Niseko in Japan; where I shared a small house with 14 other people. I’m really good at keeping common areas clean and tidy and respecting other’s personal space. (Even when it is somewhat limited!) Let me know if you think I’d be a good fit – I’d love to come check the place out and meet you! 😊
Hey! I'm originally from the Gold Coast, but I have lived in Brisbane for the past 6 years to study at UQ. I'm moving down to Sydney for a full time job with a firm in the CBD at the start of February. Looking for some like minded housemates somewhere near the CBD, preferably inner-west. I like having a few casual bevs here and there, but not hugely into clubbing anymore. I love listening to new music and I enjoy a bunch of genres, so i'm sure we'd have a few artists in common. Also love going to the beach as much as possible. If i'm doing nothing at home I'll usually be watching a movie/doco on netflix or playing a video game. I'm clean, social and pretty easy-going. Totally happy with all religions/races/lifestyles/orientations/genders/coke habits/coriander preferences; you do you. I pay all my bills on time or early if possible. I'm looking for housemates who I could hang out and spin a yarn with, but also have time to ourselves. Let me know if you have any other questions!
*(FYI: Just here for research at the moment, not looking to move until April/may 2019)* Fun Facts about me: I'm a "late 30-something" man/guy/dude. . I work full time for a trade union, Mondays to Fridays, doing the 9-5 thing and like having low key evenings during the week, although don't mind the occasional movie/pub meal during weeknight evenings. I like going to the party rather than bringing it home, although I do like entertaining friends over dinner or drinks at home. I'm clean, tidy, hygienic, and am not (currently) hosting any alien plagues/beings. I'm reliable and responsible with rent/bills/groceries/dishes/taking the bins out, etc. I'm also sociable and funny, and don't mind having a chin wag but also like my own space and quiet time. I love cooking (when I'm not exhausted) and sharing a meal once in a while. Also, I smoke occasionally, but only outside, far, far away from living spaces.. I'm all about personal responsibility, mutual respect, and open communication between housemates and would like to live in a place i call home rather than just rent a room in a house. Most importantly, I am house-trained and not a dickhead.
Hi all - I am moving from Brisbane and about to begin a full time position in a production company based in Paddington. In terms of personality, I am respectful of privacy, genuine and friendly so I like a chat here and there. I will also be new to the city so will spending most my weekends of adventuring and exploring and welcome any tips/recommendations. I like a home that is kept generally clean and would like my roomies to be the same! Please feel free to message, especially if you know public transport to Paddington is easy!
My friend and I are currently in Sydney and want to travel the East Coast. We wanna meet new people and are open to get to know different lifestyles. Just wanna have a great time with cool people :)
Easy going, friendly and clean seeking like minded housemates. I like to socialise and have a chat over a glass of wine but also enjoy my own time as well. I work full time in the city in the corporate world and often go to the gym after work or catch up with friends for dinner.
I am moving up to Sydney to do a masters and will be working remotely for a jewellery brand. I love cinema, my shtick is cinematic documentary, but apart from that music, reading, gardening, cooking, going on little adventures out of the city and trying to not use social media so much. I am a terrible surfer but love popping about in the white wash so i’ll be bringing up my board to ‘get pitted’. One of my new years resolutions is to cut down on meat and dairy, not totally but to lessen my impact on the environment, so I at the moment I eat meat once a week. What else can I tell you, I love architecture and design, I have a bunch of furniture but it all has homes with friends/fam (I recently came back from living OS or 8 months) so I can take as much or as little as I need. I would prefer not to have to truck it up, however I could contribute and have a lot of pretty nice stuff in storage. I am a clean person, I am a social person, but also love my quiet time. I would be interested in cooking together too, if thats something that you guys do, but also happy to cook solo as well.
