Hi, I'm Laurent. I'm French and, after having happily lived in Oz for 7 years, Aussie also. I have a Chinese - Cambodian background as well and I'll leave the end result with your imagination (hint: it's not too bad) I have been off Australia for a year traveling and doing volunteering work and I'm finally back to continue my "normal" life. I'm pretty chilled out spending my time catching up with friends, watching movies and TV shows, doing sport (mainly soccer and squash) reading life hacks to make me feel smarter. I'm an IT professional and will be job hunting at the beginning of our common life. It doesn't mean I will have financial issues soon as I still have confortable savings. Like 100% of Flatmates users, I'm tidy. Well, that's partially true because my bedroom is more likely to get messy. I'll definitely keep the common area clean and I expect the same from my fellow flatmates. I'm social and independent. It means I'm happy to have a good chat over a drink or share activities, and I also need to spend time by myself. It's important to keep a good balance between social and personal spaces. Since I settled in Sydney, I always lived in a shared accommodation and I am fully house trained. Bonus: most of my previous housemates left me to move in with their partner and are now married... Regarding visits, I will occasionally have some friends over for drinks or dinner. I'm looking for an accommodation in inner Sydney area, preferably Surry Hills, Redfern, Newtown or surrounding suburbs.
Hi! I recently moved back to Sydney after working in London for a couple of years and am looking to rent a room within ~30 mins commute of the CBD. I currently work full time for a fund manager, so it would be great to find a place that is easy to get a full night's sleep without too much disruption during the work week...but weekend parties are fine!
24 - Vietnamese. Clean, responsible, quiet and hard working cookery student. I work and study almost everyday from 10 till nighttime. Otherwise I will be only in my room watching movies or music. Not a party animal and rarely brings any friend home. I like pets but I don't own one. Rarely do any cooking at home so do not worry about dirty messes in kitchen.
Hi there! I'm heading over to Sydney to work a festival for 2 months and I need a place to live! I'm super friendly, tidy and nice. I'm usually at work A LOT but when I'm at home I like to chill out watching Netflix, reading or writing.
We are a couple both working full time in Sydney and we are looking for a place to stay for our last 6 weeks in Sydney. We've lived in lots of house shares before and we are clean, sociable and friendly.
A bit about me, I'm easygoing and talkative, always keen on sharing a nice conversation around a good meal (did I say that I love cooking?). I also like travelling, hiking and I'm a nature lover. Currently, I'm studying and working in Sydney, and I'll be here for another year and a half, before coming back to Europe (I'm Spanish). If you have any questions, shot me a message 😊
Hi there! My name is Bec and I currently work full time in Human Resources on a large infrastructure project located in Sydney. I'm looking for new home for myself and my (part time) 10 year old rescue terrier - Nahla I am quiet, respectful, mature and easy going. I currently live in a lovely share house in Stanmore and need to look for a new place as the lease is sadly coming to an end! Overall, I'm looking for a home around the inner west where I can be close to a few nice cafes and parks. I'm clean and tidy and overall a very considerate person. I'm pretty chill on the weekend which usually consist of catching up with friends out and about and trying out some new places to eat (I should also be upfront about my Messina addiction). A little more info on Nahla is that she is toilet trained and a quiet dog. I currently share her with my former partner and have her three weeks on and three weeks off. She has lived her life and is at a point where she spends her days doing rotations from lying in the sun to the shade. She is to her hearts content sitting on the lounge with some cuddles to keep her happy!

Hey guys, I’m looking for a fully furnished room in Sydney. Not too picky about area but somewhere close to work (city) would be convenient. Open also to long & short term stay opportunities (not just 3 months) ***Needing somewhere which doesn’t mind providing the basics such as pillows, bedding, etc that I can return (obviously as they were) by the end of my stay :) A little about me: I'm a single Australian girl working in fashion retail, enjoy reading books on philosophy & psychology, tea, animals (although I own none… I will adore yours!!!) & keeping relatively fit :)

Hey there, I'm a 19 year old guy from Munich, Germany. I finished school last year and like nearly everybody hear in Germany, I want to travel around in New Zealand and Australia. Luckily, I managed to get an internship at a shipping line in Sydney (Pyrmont) from 3rd April until the 30th of June, so I'm able to improve my english skills and gain some work experience. For this period of time I search for a furnished room with some nice mates to talk and to hang out with. :) I'm an easy going person and easy to get along with. In my freetime I'm mostly hanging out with friends, watching TV-series and movies or playing computer games. Feel free to write me a message or an e-mail, if you're still looking for a roommate and think that we could get along with each other quite well. Thanks for reading and hopefully contacting me :) (I'll be in Sydney around the 26th of march)
Hey! Michelle is an actor from NZ and currently doing freelance/temp work. Loves cooking, watching movies, exploring new outdoors and swimming. David is from Sydney and is a delivery driver for a plumbing company and has been organising DJ nights called Swarm Takeover for the past few months. We also have heaps of house plants and they will happily green up the place. We're currently living in a temporary room in Haberfield which is awfully small for two people but have plans to move early April to a more permanent place. We were living on our own in a studio apartment but I was working nights in hospo and the opposite timetables meant that being at home on our own got really boring. I'd love to live with people who are social, creative, engaging and ambitious. We are free from early evening most days and would love to check out the place and meet you! Michelle & David

My Name is Pierce Nicholson, I'm from England and came over to Australia in 2003 and love Australia I would be a clean, friendly flatmate. I love to cook and will give anything a go, I love to chill with friend and with my future roommates whether it's out or even in a backyard. I am a professional, female design engineer aged 42 and seeking a modern room preferably with own bathroom or one shared with another female. I am mature minded, humorous, warm hearted and respectful of others. I prefer to share with other mature-minded people, probably between 30 and 65 years old. I am a AAA rated engineer and take construction design contracts from agencies. Most of my work can be done on my own computer. I tend to rise at 7am, breakfast, make lunch sandwiches and then go to work. My workplace varies - sometimes a clients office, a library, a coffee shop or other social work space and sometimes from home. Contracts may be anywhere between a week and 2 years in length. I have confirmed work in Sydney until 8th May; thereafter my contracts may enable me to stay in Sydney or may require me to move. Its not predictable but I can say that my physical location does not matter for most of the work I do and that I shall endeavor to stay in Sydney. I am flexible on location - any suburb within the region roughly bounded by the north and east coasts of Sydney, Ashfield in the west and the airport in the south. I would be very pleased to talk with you about sharing. Kind regards, Kellie
Hello there! I'm Seb and I moved to Sydney 6 months ago. I started off like a proper noob and lived in Bondi Junction like a tourist - the idea being to learn to surf. Of course, in that time, I managed to go down to the beach once and didn't set foot in the water. So now, I've become a sensible chap and am looking for somewhere cheaper in the Inner West, as that's where it's at (I think). I've just got a job (woohoo!) as a solar PV engineer at a company in Camperdown - if none of that means anything to you, fear not, I'm sure I will tell you whether you like it or not. I'm generally a very outdoorsy person, and love to cycle and hike. During my first 6 months here, I worked as a sort of part-time trainee mechanic in a few bike shops as I wanted to figure out how to fix something I use a lot! Pretty passionate about the environment, in all senses - energy, transport, water, waste, etc., so I may start an impromptu rant on Sydney's hopeless cycling infrastructure, or plastic bags, or disposable coffee cups or...you get the idea. Also a pretty geeky person and am pretty much always reading some fantasy novel. Also like to play chess, so if you can play, that would be bloody excellent. So yeh, if you like the sound of that, it'd be great to share with you, whoever you are!
Hi guys, Having lived in shared houses for a good number of years, I know what I'm looking for: a (fairly) tidy house where I can kick back & relax after work, hopefully with flatmates who wanna join me for a glass of wine or a gig. I like to think that I have a laidback attitude towards shared bills and friends stopping by for drinks. Likewise, I hope that you don't mind me inviting friends over for the occasional dinner, and that you are as keen on binging shows (Stranger Things anyone?) when hungover. I've lived in Melbourne for the past 1.5 years and loved it, but now it's time to get a taste of the Sydney lifestyle. Although I already know a good few people in Sydney, I'd love to get to meet new folks and see where you hang out. About myself: I love sports and great food, and try to let the one not exclude the other (aka no dieting). Sports: running (training for the Great Ocean half marathon), indoor soccer, Hit training. Other: brunch, movies, occasional museum, festivals.
Hello, This is Kamer, an Export-Import Executive working in the Manufacturing Industry and looking for a quite and clean room around Enmore, Newtown, Marrickvile. I know when to leave people alone and need my own space from time to time but I also enjoy being around people and just having good talks and good food. I love food! I also like yoga and the sun and people who have their own opinion.

Hello, I am Fazia. I am 27 years old and i just recently moved from Melbourne with a full-time engineering job. I enjoy an occasional glass of red and some GOT/westworld episodes with the housemates, or hitting the gym during weeknights. I am a sociable person but I need my downtime too. I am easygoing, clean and respectful. I am airnbnb-ing atm and hope to find a place I can call home by first week of April :)
I'm a young software developer fresh out of uni who is moving to Sydney, and I'm looking to share a house with some great people. I'm fairly outgoing but respectful of people's space, and into chilled out gatherings more than wild parties or nights out. I believe tidying up after yourself is just part of being a considerate, decent human being. My ideal housemates would be friendly people who are willing to share housework and enjoy chilling out together in the evenings.
I am a male 24 years old that recently got out of defence. I work full time and study part time at tafe.I am an easy-going person. Friendly, love a good laugh and open-minded so there will never be short of fun conversations. I like my quiet times but also try to socialise on the weekend; love the beaches and great Sydney night scenes. I love to cook but questions will be asked on why i cook the same food =)
I am a Mexican-Canadian studying a Master of Sustainability at the University in Sydney. Looking to stay with other respectful, friendly and clean students or professionals of a similar age. Looking for a private, furnished room that I can call home.
Veryy open minded and easy going. Pretty much can handle a;; types of personalities. Nothing can surprise me easily! I'm well educated and run my own business in Applied PT and Athletics Coaching. Easy to get along with and usually stay in my own space with my PS4 and internet! :) If you have a nice place to share, preferably with easy access to Sydney Olympic Park (where most of my work is at) let me know. Looking forward to hear from you. Espy
I'm currently a teacher living in Adelaide, SA moving to Sydney for a crazy career change mid May to start as a firefighter. Nothing like chasing your dream. I am passionate about my fitness - CrossFit being my drug of choice. I'm pretty easy to get along with, enjoy some down time with a good book but also love a good games night and banter over a few vinos. Coffee lover who enjoys eating out and trying new places. I have a little Jack Russell whos name is Dexter. He turns 9 this year so is getting on a little but is so cute and well behaved. I would love to have him with me but I understand he might have to have a holiday at my parents while I get things sorted in Sydney. If you think we might be well suited send me a message and we can get house hunting!!
I'm respectful of peoples spaces, very mindful of shared areas. I believe the kitchen, bathroom and laundry should be the cleanest rooms in a house, but saying that my room should be pretty clean also. I'm pretty easy going and love a good chat over wine!
Two Canadian photographer friends looking for a good group house or a great place to share while we adventure around Sydney. We both have full time jobs, and are neat and clean individuals. We don't mind the occasional party, but mostly like working on creative projects, camping, hiking, and checking out movies.
I'm Malthe, 23 yrs, out of Denmark 🙂 I'm a likeable and outgoing person and I have my feet securely planted on the ground, to put it short I'm easy-going and flexible when it comes to how much contact to have with flatmates. I like being social, cooking together or the like (I cook a mean curry!), but I do respect a closed door, as I myself from time to time need some alone time. I'm orderly and neat, having lived with my girlfriend and other flatmates away from home for three years I'm used to taking care of a household, though I'm by far not a prune. I like going out for drinks once in a while but I respect it if my flatmates need a quiet evening. I'm here on exchange until July. Back home I study full-time at Aarhus University. I study Digital Design and I'm really interested in the way so-called digital artifacts shape our reality, and how designers should be concerned with finding a sweet-spot between aesthetic quality and pragmatic usability (I like to call this 'technopoetic design'), but I figure we'll talk a lot more about that once we meet in real life 😉 Hope to hear from you!
Hi, I'm a chef working full time in the CBD. I'm quite friendly and social but also enjoy my time to myself and am respectful of others space. I often work until late and my days off are usually on weekdays, when I enjoy cooking at home for myself and whoever wants to join! I love to go out for a drink but I also cherish my down time. I clean up after myself, and I'm always keen to hang out or have a chat. I'm looking for a beautiful place to call home that is a positive environment with great housemates.
I'm Alex from Los Angeles. I work in Merrickville in TV/Film. Always down to head to the beach, grab a coffee or make a family meal. Definitely a seeker of cheap fun: nature, festivals, exhibits, parties, etc. Love to surf, run, travel, watch movies and go see live music. I'm here for a good time not for a long time as I'm here on a Working Holiday Visa, so 3 to 4 months is my commitment. I'm very respectful of my flatmates and I clean up after myself. Really I'm looking for some nice, fun people who can have a drink/chat with me and explore Sydney outside the 9-5. Cheers!
I'm an easy-going guy who loves music, and is just as happy out socialising as I am sitting at home watching Netflix. I love to cook and know how to clean up after myself. I'm looking for a place for about 6 months in the right place with some cool people.
I'm currently working casual as a social media producer while full-time studying at uni. I'm half Nigerian, half Australian so opened to roommates of different cultures. Have never lived outside of home, but am very independent. Need a place urgently so ready to move in asap.
We are super friendly, outgoing, open-minded couple who work full-time. We like to be social and go on daily adventures when we can, cafe hop, catch up with friends for nightly outings, chill out somewhere relaxing or go for beach walks. However, we also like our downtime and understand personal space and privacy. We are neat and tidy and are respectful towards others and their belongings.
Just arrived in Sydney after 9 months of backpacking Asia. After living in NYC for the past 8 years, I'm excited to check out a new city. I'm currently looking for work (digital media) and won't be able to commit to a long term stay until I know the job will be in Sydney. That said, I'm also in the market for short term while I figure out this whole work thing. Either way, priority will be given to furnished rooms. So you probably want to know a bit about me...I'm the type of person who works out so I don't feel guilty eating the entire bag of chips. I'm equality content with being outside riding a bike or hiking or maybe rock climbing (new hobby?) as I am reading a book on the couch with a glass of wine. Balance is key. While I was living alone back in NY, I've been surrounded by people 24/7 for 9 months so having roommates again seems like it'll be an easy adjustment. While I'm ok with us having our own lives, as I'm new to town, I'd much prefer roommates that doubled as friends. Oh.. And I love dogs (just in case you have or were thinking of getting one)
Hello, I'm Mitch, 34yrs, Australian, a 2016 arts graduate from University of Sydney and now a full time worker. I spend as many afternoons/evenings as I can at the gym, and I like to pursue my dilettantish interests in music and literature when time and energy allows. I'm clean, mature, respectful and sane (so far as any of those categories can be assumed to bear a shared meaning between strangers on the internet who, for all they both respectively know, may have completely different notions of cleanliness, maturity, respectfulness and sanity). Still, i think most people would find me pretty easy to get along with, so do feel free to get in touch. Cheers.
I'm really relaxed, up a for a friendly chat but also give personal space to others. I work full-time and love doing my cinematography/ photography on the side. I love to be creative and meet new people. Super chilled and well organised. Love staying active and leading a healthy lifestyle. Hope to hear from you soon :)
Hey, I work part-time in mental health and study nursing. Very clean (!), tidy, respectful, nice, calm, and considerate I've been in Sydney for just over a year. Lived in NZ for 16 years prior, originally from South Africa
