I'm a software engineer for Qantas who has started a masters in Bioinformatics this year. My hobbies include boardgames, travel, Diving, and Tea. A Naturally quiet person, I'm still likely to be up for a chat over a Gin or Tea after work. Looking for likeminded professionals to share with I have a lounge set and all my own bedroom furniture, if a house needs other things I'm happy to contribute. Ideally i'm looking to move in to a home that's being set up so that we can craft it together into something we're comfortable with
Hello, my name is Mel and I am a Kiwi who has just moved here for work. I am looking for a friendly and sociable flat, I am mid thirties so my party days are behind me. I love to cook and eat out, love to travel, film, music and the arts! I've been told I have a GSOH and I'm really great with accents....
Hello, Ashton's the name they gave me, born 1989 making me 27 years of age. I am a hard working, fully employed Machinist/Setout Coordinator working in the commercial interior industry. Generally a 7 - 3:30 Monday to Friday gig with the occasional weekend. So I've got my side of the bills covered. Generally I keep busy either playing sport or hitting the F45 circuits. Pretty much 5-6 days a week. I can motivate if your wanting a gym partner. When I do have a chance to slow down, I'm always up for a casual beer, domination of the old board game or some social bonding. Being new to Melbourne it would be nice to make some friends instead of the occasional greeting to the old housemate in the other room. Having done the house share thing for some time, I pull my weight around the house, clean up after myself and generally respect others needs for cleanliness and space.
My name is Ollie, I’m 25 years old, Architecture student at University of Melbourne. I have been share housing at my current townhouse in Northcote for 2 years, however the owner has just decided to sell! I am originally a refugee and have been living in Australia as a permanent resident for the past 6 years 😊 I currently work as a duty manager at Coles and have additional help from Centrelink for my studies. I am a friendly, social, clean & tidy, easy going, non-judgmental, driven guy who has his own thing going on, and have remained good friends with those I have lived with. I love to hang out for a drink, head out to dinner or share meals with others whenever the time calls for it and put effort into making the house feel like a home, and I also respect the space and boundaries of others. I love to head out into nature on the weekends for hiking or camping, or go and see bands with friends, and am generally very keen to learn as much as I can about Australian culture and improve on my English (my current housemate helped me write this :P). If you think I sound like a good fit, I’d love to come over to meet you and check out the place. I’m also happy to provide references too. Hope to hear from you soon, Ollie

Thanks Joe ✌️
Hey, I'm looking for a long term room in any of the inner suburbs, preferably within 45 mins cycling time of carlton. I work part time and spend the remainder of my time reading, tryna learn piano and going on outings with friends. Have lived in share houses before and am tidy + reliable with cleaning up and paying rent/bills. I'm always up for the odd cook up/cheap wine when I'm around but respectful of others' space/time. I'll need a place with parking available (street is fine). If you think you've got something in my budget - max $650 p/m - shoot me a message :) Emily
Hi! I'm Amanda. I'm a 31 year old Californian, new to Melbourne. I'm a laid back gal who loves travel, yoga, scuba diving, red wine, and photography. I'm a vegetarian, but totally comfortable with other people's eating habits. I like to keep things clean, but some clutter doesn't bother me. I work from home in marketing for now until I find a job here in Melbourne. I hope to find a somewhat social house share where I can share a beer or a meal with my roommates sometimes and also have a quite, private space of my own. My move in date would ideally be around late August, but I have some flexibility for a good fit. If I sound like a good fit for your space, I would love to hear from you! :)
35 year old male working full time as a buyer. When not working either at gym, day hiking trips, catching up with mates or riding a rounding on the motorbike. Relax and easy going. Looking for a place that can call home and enjoy the place.
I work in the CBD in recruitment, and am at the gym most weeknights. Weekends are generally spent winding down with mates, and good scotch. I'm not looking for a party house, just a place to call home with like-minded people that are cool to have their own lives, but share the occasional meal and drink.
Look no further - you've stumbled on the perfect housemate! I’m Jarrod, 33 and I study engineering full-time, and work in hospitality part-time. I like the outdoors, board games, music, AFL, delish food, and pub trivia among other things. I’ve just returned from a semester abroad and have just started back at RMIT, so I'm looking for a place to move into ASAP, and ideally stay long-term. I’m easy-going, clean and tidy without being obsessive, social, respectful, responsible etc. I have a few household items that may come in handy, including a fridge, TV, and table-tennis table. I can either bring these or leave them in storage. I'm looking for a house/apartment where I can feel at home, share the occasional meal, drink, and night in front of the TV. I’m not looking for a party house, but I do enjoy the occasional soiree and am totally fine with friends visiting and staying over every now and then. I'm also a public transport user, so close to trains/trams/buses/bike trails would be great too. Drop me a line – I’d love to swing by to meet you and take a look at your place!
Independent and social. I'm pretty active and enjoy being out as much as being home. I'm keen on living in a house where everyone enjoys a chat and a drink together when the timing is right. I have a minimal approach (ie not much furniture haha) but still manage to carry around my vinyl collection sans record player! I love gardens but my work hours can fluctuate a lot so I can't commit to that one... I moved to Melbourne less than a year ago and love it-even the weather!
Hi, I’m Mathew, I'm 35 and I study Aerospace Engineering at RMIT in the city. In my spare time I like to play video games, watch suff, go to the beach, see a live gig, explore Melbourne or catch up with friends. I'm also dabbling in the world of health & fitness. I need to find a place somewhere north of the city. My course moves to RMIT's Bundoora campus next year and I am hoping to keep my commute reasonable. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. Any other questions, please ask.
I've been living in Melbourne for 5 years. Originally from Adelaide. I'm working full time at RMIT. I don't drive - by choice, I haven't had my licence suspended or anything like that. Currently living in Northcote and would be happy to keep living in this area but also happy to live in similar locations e.g. Brunswick, Collingwood, Fitzroy, etc. I'm not very familiar with the south side of the city but would consider moving there too. LGBT+ friendly. Places that I am interested in have the following features: Close to public transport (preferably a train line but trams are okay). Close to shops and cafes. Housemates that are clean and tidy in common spaces. A bedroom that can fit a queen size bed and bedside tables. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Hi future houseshare, I run my own space clearing declutter business so I am very respectful of spaces and keeping them tidy. I have travelled with my work all over the world and have stayed in many airbnbs, holiday rentals, hotels as well as private homes. My friends call me the bed whisperer :) I like to use my home base as a chill zone and focus on my business. I will usually go out to see a movie or hang with friends, I don't drink or smoke or party I did all of that in my younger years. I love one to one conversations and not into small talk, in fact I like to keep to myself mostly. Not in an weird way locked in my room, more about meditating and working, so I like to be free of distractions. I love to cook and love watching the odd rubbish tv show occasionally. I have an easy light personality so not into drama or heavy negative energies. Spontaneous dancing may occur. I practice Qigong and Kundalini Yoga and will finish my Lomi Lomi Massage Training at the end of this year in Hawaii. I love to laugh and believe everyone deserves to be respected and listened to. Because my business is about CLARITY, I like to discuss and clarify what is expected in the domestic running of the house, so that there is no room for confusion. It's also important to be aware of boundaries. Really look forward to finding a space that feels like "home" .... and chatting with you soon Thanks Eirena ( aka ell ) PS Some things that are important on my list. -NBN Internet is very necessary for my work -I run my own business, so my hours vary, so when you ask full time and mean the conventional 9 t0 5- that's not me. -I really would like a place with a bath tub - Love love love gardens, so prefer a house to an apartment
Im a 23 year old flight attendant from Perth living in Melbourne. Looking for somewhere to live for a minimum of 6 months. Id preferably like an ensuite bathroom or own bathroom but not too fussy. I am away for work quite a bit so i wont be spending a whole lot of time at home. Im super laid back and easy to get along with.. non smoker, pet lover, I love to cook and I am a very clean and tidy person. I'd like to live with someone who understands or can respect the shift work lifestyle as there are times I finish work at 5am so I'd sleep a small amount during the day :) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have :)
I've house shared for the better part of ten years so I feel this has left me with a pretty keen awareness of the general do's and dont's of sharing protocol. I hold a permanent job and am always reliable with rent, very respectful of common areas and really like to make a place feel like a home (... the occasional meal, drink, chat together, that type of thing). I'd describe myself as warm, with a dark, self-deprecating sense of humour, an extroverted introvert insofar as being quite outgoing and social, but also needing quite a bit of downtime to retreat and decompress. Food-wise, I generally fend for myself most days but love to cook for the house when the occasion calls ... I cook 100% vego but that's largely because I-just-fucking-love-vegetables / have sub-optimal meat cooking abilities. I work for the public service in multicultural affairs, though I'm just about to drop to 3 days a week to start studying my first undergrad degree at Melbourne Uni. I am very food orientated, enjoy cooking, and eating my way through Melbourne's cafes and restaurants, and I've also been learning how to swing dance for the last year. I've also recently jumped onto the podcast bandwagon (S Town, This American Life, Radiolab, et al ... ) Finally, I also have a cat named Brian: a devastatingly handsome, affable tabby. He will enthusiastically headbutt you to indicate affection. He lives outdoors by day and on my bed of an evening ... may or may not have a few memes made in his honour (provided upon request).
