Hey all, Im a non smoker, not partier and very tidy. I respect everyone including my housemates and their guests. I work full time in Northcote, I enjoy eating out, travelling the world, playing and watching all sports and also enjoy latin dancing. I dont cook a great deal but if I do is generally a great roast or pasta dish. Im looking for housemates that respect each others possessions and privacy but also enjoy socialising and having a chat or chill out together. (I will share my wine stash with you). I also have a big tv and ps4, and love video games. (prefer to keep in my own room) Ideally id love a private room with ensuite. But it isnt a dealbreaker. Message me soon! Brad
I am looking for friendly share house, my current lease expires early March so I'm looking for somewhere for late feb/early March. I like to catch up and have a drink or dinner and a chat at the end of the day, so social housemates would be preferable. I work full time in the public service and study part time, so I'm not looking to move into a crazy party house. If there's anyone out there keen to help me stay fitness-motivated, that would also be a massive benefit! In general I am looking for a hygienic house, happy people, wireless internet and good ju-ju are a must. I'm looking for either an established share house or happy to also set up one from scratch with others.
I’m an engineer who recently graduated university and starting fulltime work in the CBD. I'm looking for a place closer to the city with friendly sociable people. I’m a friendly, neat and reliable person who enjoys other’s company but also respects people's privacy. I enjoy reading, video games and anything outdoors.
Hi my name is Elise. I am currently working in hospitality and going back to study next year to finish my Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice. I am looking for a place closer to my current work and future University placement and job opportunities. I like an equal amount of quiet time and socialising. I am friendly, easy-going and hard-working. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm 24 years old, looking to move out of home for the first time. I am tidy, friendly and respectful. I don't party hard, but I am sociable and always happy for a chat or a glass of wine. I'm studying psychology and a cert IV in Mental Health, I volunteer at a telephone crisis line for women, and I work 4-5 shifts a week at a part-time hospitality job. When I'm not working I love to write, read, watch movies, visit museums/art galleries, and hiking/going to the beach. I also love to travel, if only I had more money for it! :'( If you are LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and looking for a female housemate in the areas of Hawthorn, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond etc., then I would love to get to know you!
Hola Amigos, Im a 22 year old third year politics student, afternoon napper, hospo worker, share-house trained, poor from travelling but expert maker of friends. Love intellectual debates (normally involving wine) but flip side I am not unknown to watch Yes to the Dress at 1 am stroking my cat (Don't fear, said cat has been rehomed to my parents). Flexible on place and length of lease so hit me up :)
Hey hey :) Im a friendly, easy going chick that enjoys working and living a simple life. I've got a pretty wicked sense of humour and tend to joke around once you get to know me. I see the positive side in the majority of things. Also having an understanding and respect of privacy as well as each individuals life styles is really important. So living with a like minded person is a must. I'm currently living in Pascoe Vale and looking for a change. I do have a tv, with a cabinet that it sits on as well as a couple of bed side tables and looking to buy a new queen sized bed. So I'd prefer a room that could accommodate that furniture. I tend to keep to myself after work as I get pretty tired, though im easy to have a chat with. Im a traffic controller so I usually work big hours Monday to Friday and some weekends. Im happy to clean up after myself and keep a tidy lifestyle as well as participating in the household chores so long as its deligated between the housemates equally :) Im preferably looking to find a place that's got the rent and utilities included together. I've grown up being efficient with my usage so I don't see it fair to pay for others wastage and I will give you peace of mind with that :) Looking forward to meeting the right housemate and answering any questions you might have :)
Hi everyone! I'm here in Melbourne for one more semester so need a room until about June, (move in and out dates are flexible). I study molecular biology, like being outdoors for a climb a hike or just gardening in the veggie patch (sun and temperatures over 18 degrees is a luxury to be taken advantage of if you're from Sweden). Really like to do things myself like making marmalade and pickles or sewing, really keen to learn how to brew beer and dye stuff in shibori style! I haven't got any furniture so a room with a bed would be great. Apart from that, how the room is is not that important to me, more hoping to share the house with some fun and interesting people! Feel free to message me if you have questions. Cheers!
Work full-time, currently living in an apparent by myself, getting a bit sick of it, lease is going month to month so I can move anytime. Good rental history, already own sofa, fridge, chairs, washing machine, coffee table, tv and a bed. I can sell these if they're not needed. I play guitar and sing every day but I am always considerate of others about times about level of noise. I play footy over winter, love watching live music and like a good drink every now and then.
Hi there! I'm looking for a room in a modern house/apartment in either Clifton Hill, Fitzroy North, Collingwood, Abbotsford or Northcote. I'm a full-time professional working in the public sector. My hours are typically 9 - 5 but I'm usually out after work either training or at the gym. My job can be full-on and my life is generally pretty busy so I'm not looking for a “party house” at all but somewhere where I can come home at the end of a long day and relax. I'm easy-going, social and enjoy meeting new people. When I'm not at work I'm either at jiu-jitsu, the gym, yoga or catching up with friends! I love my life in Melbourne and being positive and active. I’m looking for a modern room in a sharehouse, ideally with mature people (28+), non-smokers. I’m available to move in from 21 January onwards. Please message me if you have a room in these suburbs that you think I might be interested in! I can provide references upon request. Thanks :)
My name's Sam. I'm 30 & I've been living in Melbourne for the last 6 years. I currently work full-time in the CBD in customer service, 9-5:30 Mon to Fri. In my spare time I enjoy reading tech blogs, skateboarding, start-ups, Big Bash cricket (carn the Stars!) and the occasional Netflix binge. I'm currently looking to find a relaxed space to share with some friendly people before the end of February (as I'll be visiting Japan for a fortnight mid March). I'm looking to stay long term (>6 months), and am happy to put my name on the lease if needed. I'm share-house trained, clean, respectful, timely with bills and LGBTQ friendly. I'm looking for flatmates who are approachable and enjoy sharing a few drinks over dinner now and then, but understand that everyone needs their own space from time to time. Ideally I'm looking for a home more than a house, and enjoy being social with my flatmates.
Hey guys! My lease in my current house ends on the 10th ish of March (flexible) so am looking for another roomy to team up with! Im pretty much looking for a 3 bedroom house (2 room mates inc me and a bedroom converted into a study if the rent isnt too expensive), 2 bath, a back garden for the occasional drinks and BBQ in a safe location. The suburbs im looking at are just a rough idea... Reservouir, Preston, Bundoora, Thomastown, Mill Park, Diamond Creek and surrounding areas - pretty much where ever we can find a gem that is in reasonable distance from RMIT Bundoora as I am studying there full time! I currently have a fully furnished house (washing mashine, couches, 2 beds, cutlery, desks and pretty much anything needed for survival) and have been offered by my current Real Estate Agent to help me find another house as I have a good rental history with them which gives us the upper hand and potentially cheaper rent! 👌 Im an early person (most the time) who enjoys a drink every now and then with friends. I am a very tidy and easy going, loves Triple J, running and animals. I have two inside cats and a staffy who love pretty much everyone, are so friendly and are great company! I walk or run my dog everyday and he pretty much stays outside except for sleeping - hes makes a sweet security guard :) the cats absolutly love the dog so there is no tension with the animals at all! I travel during uni holidays most of the time and pay bills as usual when im away. I am looking for a 6 month - 1 year lease if possible. Pls dont hesitate to contact me for more info and hopefully we can sort something out from there! Cheers, Paige.
I moving down to Melbourne in Feb to start Masters in Development Studies at Melb Uni. I've been living overseas for two years in South Africa & Nepal for work and just returned back down under. My bachelors is in visual arts and used to work as a video editor so I'm a big media and art lover. I am a big traveller and love talking about where I want to go next. I like to think i'm a pretty chill roomie and share house trained. Clean, friendly and I go with the flow. I come with some great share house stories too. I'm a vego if that sways any votes but otherwise I don't really care what you eat. I'm love being active, especially love my weekend hikes and swims. I am looking for a great group of people to live with who are social and love having a beer after work and who can became good pals but with a nice balance of quiet time. It's crunch time and gotta hit the books for uni! My budget is around $200 a week. I'm definitely looking for somewhere long term and a place to call home. Flexible with move in dates, hopefully between 2 - 10 Feb.
Hi guys! I'm a 23 year old part time hospitality worker (Brother Alec in Thornbury) and part time office worker (finance in Moonee Ponds) so paying rent and having all of life's expenses covered has never been an issue. I'd describe myself as chilled out and would be looking for housemates who are the same. I'm not a big drinker but in the interest of full honesty I would just like to mention that I do enjoy the occasional joint before bed. I have shared houses with people before and do of course find personal space and cleanliness incredibly important. On weekend nights I try to get out to gigs to film bands, as I'm an aspiring videographer. Given this a creative house would be amazing but definitely not essential. If you think I'd fit the vibe of your share house I'd love the opportunity to come and see the room and meet my potential future house mates! Thanks, Jackson.
Hi, My name is Oliver, I am 22 and studying Full time and working. I study Audio Engineering and have nearly finished my degree. I am looking for somewhere for 3-6 months and am flexible with bills and internet on top of rent. I also love cooking Would love to hear from you soon, Oliver
Two 26 year old British creative designers just landed to live and work full time in Melbourne. Looking for two separate rooms in a share house or renting a whole two bedroom property. We share similar interests: photography, creating short films, healthy lifestyle, entrepreneurship, gym, yoga, philosophy, vegetarian, creating electronic music (with headphones don't worry), travel, graphic design and generally always keen to have a few beers and discuss how wildly novel it is to be alive and exploring this planet. So, drop me a message to discuss.
Hey, Looking for a private room, furnished or unfurnished is fine. I've just moved here from Sydney, I work full time in the city. I'm a friendly, happy person. Very clean, and pay bills on time!
Hi, we're Cassie and Maddie, two friends both originally from Coffs Harbour in NSW now studying down at La Trobe :) We're looking to move into an already established (but unfurnished rooms at least) shared house or either start up a new one with 1 or 2 females, preferably studying but between 19-25 Willing to pay up to 170-200 in rent per week each for 2 rooms (not including bills) I'm Cassie (on the right) I'm on my 3rd and (maybe) final year of my Animal and Veterinary Bioscience course, so I love anything science and animals! I would consider myself quiet and laid back but if the time is right I'm down for a Stollies tuesday Hi I'm Maddie, (on the left) I'm on my second year of a B. Science at La Trobe and thinking of going into secondary teaching I'm a big music person, would love for someone to go to gigs with and share a bottle or 2 of wine with We're both vegos (non-preachy dw) that love to watch bad reality tv shows including The Bachelor, I'm a Celeb... etc etc Feel free to message us about anything :)
Hi! My name is Anna, I am a full-time masters of architecture student at the University of Melbourne. I would enjoy a fun, social house - with some shared meals and cooking (I'm vegetarian). I like to focus on study during the week, but also do yoga, go for walks, drink cups of tea and chat, see friends - and I like to go out on the weekends for some beers. I like to keep things very clean and keep rent and bills all happening on time.
I am a tertiary educated professional looking for a friendly, calm and mature-aged share house. My interests include computers, music, world news and a healthy lifestyle. I value privacy and respect the rights of others.
Hey there, i'm a fun, easy-going and happy guy who loves to get to know new people and is always up for a chat. I work full time teaching Digital Media / as a freelance artist/animator and would love to find a share house with like minded, positive people. I love social get-togethers and having a nice relaxing night in too. Alas, I am allergic to cats though, so that's a no go for me. Dogs aren't a problem however :) I'm looking to move into a share house with 2-3 others ideally, but i'm open to other possibilities. Feel free to drop me a line if you think we'd get on. Cheers!
Helloo, We are a young couple moving from a small beach town near Byron Bay to Melbourne in February. We have just had a year off doing full time work, and travelling Europe together for 4 months. We are laid back, friendly, independent and clean. We love cooking for ourselves and others, having a drink, relaxing with some nice tunes, and taking our 2 year old Boxer dog out. We both have artistic hobbies, that usually take up a lot of our free time, but we also love gathering with friends and having a fun night out (or in). Zeus is our 2 year old Boxer Dog. We absolutely love him and couldn't imagine living without him. He is well trained, loving, and extremely entertaining. Zeus will need a yard, although we are not all that worried on the size, as we take him out everyday. We will be super excited to hear from anyone who is also looking for a pet friendly abode. Our budget is around $350 for the 2 of us.
We are currently housemates and are looking for a new place to live with easy going, social people. Maria (23) is a norwegian student at la trobe studying creative writing, and Drew (20) works full time. A deal breaker for us is a messy kitchen, so if we agree on that we will probably get along fine! And lucky for you, Maria tends to clean the whole house when she is stressed. Both of us are social and like having a drink/meal with whoever we live with from time to time, but won't bother you if you're busy/studying/taking a nap. We're all for housemates bringing friends over as long as they're respectful to those with early mornings. Basically we're laid back people that joke around a lot, play angry games of monopoly, drink beer and make fun of Maria when she doesn't understand something Australian. PS: Drew tells dad jokes and Maria bakes when she's bored, what more could you ask for?
I work full-time hours and study by side, when I'm at home I'm pretty chill and need some down time, but I like to social when I'm around and also respect to your own space. I prefer not living in a party house but do enjoy the odd drink/dinner. I'm very clean and tidy (but not a clean freak type), friendly and open-minded. I'm into travelling, movies, music, sports, photography, arts, food, coffee and cats :) I work in a restaurant as a pastry chef, besides my works, I like to go to the gigs, movies, exhibitions, shows, festivals, exploring the nice restaurants/cafes/pastry shops/markets, and travel when I have holidays. My favorite hangout suburbs are inner east and inner north, bay side in the summer. Although we might have the different work schedules, I'm very respectful and won't bring the party to home. I am happy to share the household as I like to keep the house clean and tidy, I'm looking for the liked -mind housemate who likes clean and tidy. I'm looking for a peaceful home to live with positive people, we can be independent but I'm not looking for just share the house, I like people. *** Allergy of the TV sounds, prefer to live with somebody who is not addicted to the TV (e.g. in need of turning on the TV every minute when at home, and sleep) and enjoy the relaxed quiet home. If your home is TV free, it will be a great bonus to me! Reliable and honest, pay rent on time. Conscious of the wastage of the energy. Looking for a relaxed home, not a party house. Clean and tidy, happy to join the household. Independent, share when I/you want to. Don't mind smokers but no smoking in the house. Open-minded, love multi- cultural, LGBT friendly, 40+ friendly. Pastry chef, occasional sweet treats :) Cat lover, meow in the house is very welcome! Please message me before calling, thank you!
I'm a laid back and friendly Kiwi! I'm passionate about my creative projects and I have a steady income which keeps me busy. I'm tidy, courteous and hope to add a positive energy to anywhere I move in to! Feel free to message me with any questions you may have!
*AVAILABLE TO MOVE IN IMMEDIATELY* Hi there, We are a friendly couple (29 and 30 years old) from the UK and we are urgently looking for a double room in a nice home. We have recently moved from London, where we lived for 2 years in a great house share with 3 other professionals, so we have experience of living with other people in a respectable manner. We got on so well we felt like a family and even went to Disneyland Paris and Glastonbury festival together. We're basically looking to live with nice people and a not a party house as we want to experience living in Australia after travelling around WA for the last 12 weeks - which was frickin amazing!!!! We love animals, we are actually house sitting 2 huskies at the moment so if you have cats or dogs that's fine with us! I am Michelle, I am a holistic massage therapist and my boyfriend, Nic is a digital designer. We have been together for 14 years, we met at school and have been best mates ever since. We've lived together for about 10 years so you can be assured we get on well, no dramas. If your looking for an Indian head massage and someone to fix your tech, we could be what your looking for! We are currently on a working holiday visa. We are looking for a room available from 14th January and would like to stay for up to 3 months or more. Our budget is $300 per week for both of us, somewhere furnished would be great as we don't own anything.
We're a young professional couple with two dogs. We're looking for someone who's interested in saving money or getting debt free to help us do the same and the long term team/friendship that comes with it. We have good taste in music, food and people, but I guess everyone thinks that they do... We moved to Melbourne in October and want to team up to get a nice place as close to the city as possible for the best price possible - with a yard for the dogs (Tell him he's dreamin'). Steve: A Canadian Engineer working in Southbank and master of the meme, Steve's pretty stereotypical Canada in a lot of ways. He's an outdoorsman and fly-fisherman that does engineering as a necessity to fund his addiction to chasing fish. Also an aspiring ninja that hasn't reconciled the fact that his luminary childhood dreams of world domination will most likely never come to fruition. Sometimes prone to write SJW stuff online. Mic: Mic is an Australian that works in retail management for a national chocolatier. She's keen on live music, animals (her Facebook feed is literally about 75% raccoons, dogs and otters), a major foodie and Beatles fan. If you don't understand or empathise with the plight of women in the modern world, swipe left - or whatever you do on Flatmates... Mana and Mocha: Mana is a 4 year old brindle staffy X who has mastered the art of the guilt trip. Having easily the most expressive dog's face you'll ever see, she likes to lounge around or run around or do anything fun really. Her favourite place to be is snuggled with someone - or the park, or... y'know what? She just likes to be Mana, wherever that is. She does fart a bit, though. Mocha is a 4 year old tan kelpie with OCD. Whilst waiting for her food or begging for yours, she can be easily fooled into chasing a ball instead, which can then be used to your advantage to eat in peace or get her to go outside, etc. She's a snuggle magnet with a turkey neck. Great for winters in front of Netflix, but sometimes she gives you this really judgmental look, like "What are you doing with your life? Stop watching Mad Men and go outside for a bit."
Me (Marcelle), I'm a 24 year old fine art student at RMIT majoring in photography and will be going into 3rd year. Also work as a bartender in Footscray . Love to have a drink with some mates and nice chats, we are both pretty laid back. All about house family vibes and getting on. Love to cook too. Not very good at writing about myself let alone selling myself haha. Anika (my girlfriend), 22, German, is a musician, just graduated from uni in London and works for Milk! Records. Loves to travel and chill out and tell really lame dad jokes.
Hi! I'm a student at Melbourne University studying my masters in Cultural Materials Conservation (looking after and fixing art and museum objects). I am going into my final year and am looking for a room in a house where I can do some good study. I work part-time as a craft teacher and as a cleaner (so I'm great at making sure everything is looking nice in that regard). I am reasonably quiet and like to have my own space for working but I also enjoy having a chat and a cup of tea. I really enjoy cooking and would be happy to share meals, though I am vegetarian but chill about meat. I am not big into partying or staying up super late but like to keep it social and have people over. My hobbies include art and crafts, playing video games (mostly rpgs), watching cartoons and anime and spending time with animals. For exercise I do tai chi and go the gym, I also love hiking and spending time outdoors in nature. I don't have any pets but would be really happy to move in somewhere with animals or where pets were a possibility so I can get some regular kitty/puppy/bunny/bird etc. cuddles :3 I don't smoke and would prefer to be somewhere without smoking indoors (outdoors is fine). I'm gay so if you should be chill with that. I am not fussed about house location as long as it has good public transport links (tram or train). Room needs to be of a decent size (fitting a bed and large desk and wardrobe) or for there to be desk space in communal areas so I can work on art and conservation projects. I am looking to move in February-March but there is no hard/fast time so if you have a room coming available a bit later let me know. I would love to hear from you if you think I would be a good fit for your household!
Hi, I'm an 'older' house trained male in stable relationship with older children moving back to Melbourne for work and family reasons in the next couple of months. Looking for a single room in quiet household with someone or a couple in their 40's or older.
I am Harvey Randhawa, I am 20 years old and coming to Melbourne for my Higher education. I am a extrovert person and fun to be around with. I like to travel on motorcycle to unknown roads and love to play football. Hygiene is my top priority and love to have a clean surrounding near me.
Hi my name is Lauren. I'm 27 and working full time in government, in a role with varied and sometimes long hours so will be out and about a bit. When I'm not working I like to get outdoors as much as possible, whether it be the beach, hiking or riding, I just generally like being outdoors! I like to also go to whatever sporting event is on in Melbourne, and check out gigs where I can. I'm an easy going and energetic person, who loves a chat and a drink with th people I live with, but am also respectful of space having lived in a couple of share houses. I am ideally trying to look for a place that can also accomodate my little 6 year old Jack Russell Emma (I did not name her haha). She's a little dog who loves a snuggle, isn't a barker and generally chills during the day when she's not begging for a walk, and likes sitting outside watching for possums at night. She can sleep in or outside.
I am a 31yo Female finally moving from Brisbane to follow my life goals of living in Melbourne. I am a registered nurse working part time whilst studying naturopathy part time at endeavour college. I have lived in share accommodation most of my life and have met some of my best friends doing so. I'd say I am a considerate, friendly, easy going and clean housemate. I am looking to move into a home not a party house although I don't mind a casual wine here and there. With the hours I keep and how busy life is for me I like to use home as a place of recoup and grounded-ness. I am hoping to find lovely housemates to share a lovely home with. I look forward to meeting you :)
My name is Lucas - I'm a friendly student at RMIT studying engineering. I work 2 jobs (both long term and stable). I am a vegetarian of 4 years who loves to cook and garden. I have lived with meat eaters in every house and this doesn't bother me. As much as I love to cook, I also appreciate a tidy house and as such, I always clean up after myself. I also love video-games and Netflix sessions as a means of procrastinating uni. I have a Pet named Rupert who is a 1 year old ferret and a great companion. He lives in a cage outside and is fully vaccinated and micro-chipped. I keep both him and his cage clean at all times and take him to the park for walks several times weekly. I would love to join in an existing housing community and remain social. If I fit your ideal description, feel free to contact me. Thanks!
We've been living with different roommates and flatmates for 10 years and understand the dynamics of a good living environment. We've resorted to conflict resolution through open communication for some of the more difficult encounters while others easily flourished into friendship and camaraderie. We are well traveled and have friends in out her countries such as Canada and Taiwan. Give us a go and you won't regret it. We are ideally looking for a place that can accommodate a couple and also have a en suite bathroom. Ideally not on the second floor and require stairs to access room.
Very neat, tidy individual, who appreciates the peace, and respects everyone's space. Easy going, working professional who usually does night shift. Am looking for a private room only with bills included in my budget. NO ROOM-SHARING PLEASE.
I'm a considerate, respectful, clean and friendly housemate. Always up for a glass of wine but respectful of individual space. I'm no party animal - ocassionally out late but happiest well rested with a cup of tea listening to a podcast.
I am a Canadian girl from Vancouver returning to Melbourne because I loved it so much I came back for 2 years. I am studying my Master's of Physiotherapy at La Trobe. Outside of work I like heading to the nearest basketball court, going to the gym, generally hanging out and going out for breaky. I work in a corporate role and work standard business hours. I would describe myself as relaxed, friendly and honest. I will be looking to move in shortly.

Financially reliable, clean and tidy, respectful, light hearted, open-minded, outgoing and down to earth Norwegian female who have spent the last five years in Australia. I have one semester left of my master of Urban Planning at RMIT and I work 20-35 hours in a cafe in Southbank. When I am not busy with work or uni I like to go for a hike, walk or run, be out and about with friends or at home relaxing. I always try to contribute to a good living environment through sharing food, home-cooked meals and snacks and I always try to leave a place better than how I found it, whether that is by putting away the dishes and taking out the trash or with one of my terrible jokes to lighten the mood.
Hey I'm English girl, moved over early December for work so been living in Melbourne for around 6 weeks and really enjoy the urban grungy feel Brunswick East has to offer, I am also open to the suburbs close by. I am looking to share a nice modernish town house with a couple of others of similar age and interests, Males or females ! (ideally 4 max to the house) who are clean and respectful can enjoy meals/drinks together occasionally. Looking for a place which has a homely vibe ... no food labeling or separate toilet rolls pleaseeeeee!!!! I work full time for the Government, so generally weekdays are chilled and early nights, weekends I like to be a bit of a social butterfly... going out for dinners and drinks, frequenting the local shops and yoga studios!! Drop me a message if you think we may be a good match !
Hey guys I'm Blair, I'm a 26 year old female, originally from NZ but have been living in Queensland and London the last 3 or so years (not simultaneously). I work full time on Collins Street so am fairly quiet during the week but enjoy socializing on the weekends; pubs, gigs, food markets etc (and the occasional netflix binge). I'm looking for a private furnished room (must be furnished), ideally long term from early February. I've been flatting since I was 18 so I'm well house-trained; clean, tidy and aware of the need for personal space. If you have a room suitable I'd love to hear from you. And if you're still not sold, I work for an energy company so get sweet discounts on gas and elec! I'll wait for your call..
In feb, I will start my career as a nurse at a well known hospital in the city. I love my own space just as much as I love socialising. More then happy to have a drink, or enjoy a meat and cheese platter! I am from a country town, but have previously rented in the outskirts of Melbourne before, by myself and with a room mate. Bills/rent have always been paid on time and have always gotten my full bond back . I will be doing shift work, so finding tenants that are okay with this is very important, as well as having tenants happy for me to have friends over every now and then. I am very easy going, laid back, minimal. I enjoy going out for dinner, drinks, adventures and definitely the beach! Ideally, I would be looking for a room with wardrobes an ensuite.
Hi everyone! My current lease is ending, and I'm looking to move in to a new share house. I'm currently taking a year off uni and working hospo to save some money before I start my honours in criminology and social theory in July. I love zipping around on my bike, practicing yoga and reading. I'm working a lot which means I'm not home heaps, but when I am I love cooking up a big feed, or heading the pub for beers and pool. I've got a bit of a green thumb, so a decent back yard to do some gardening in would be awesome. Just shoot me a message if you'd like to know anything else :)
Love cooking, wine, coffee and staying fit! I enjoy my personal space but also like spending time with housemates. I'm super easy going and I respect privacy. Cooking together can be a routine thing too :) *Will not do a room share ** Prefer a female environment but will consider male environment too
I'm Hannah, a primary teacher from the UK. I'm going to be working as a supply teacher in Melbourne, so I'm looking for somewhere with good transport links for getting to different schools everyday. I'm here on a working holiday until November, although who knows how long I'll end up staying as I'm just loving Melbourne! I'm friendly, easy going and genuine. I'm also very clean and respectful of other people's space. I love live music, binge watching English comedies, seeing new places, walks in the countryside and going on nights out. I'm into yoga, dancing and going to the gym... Oh, and watching the English Premier League. When I have time and a kitchen with the space I like baking and cooking, so...cakes may be available! I'm looking for a home where I can make friends as well as flatmates, where we can chill watching movies or head out for some drinks. If you've got a room that sounds like it might be right, I'd love to hear about it.
22, moving back to Melbourne to study sculpture at RMIT, always down for a brew, clean, able to pay rent on time, always cook enough food to have leftovers for days, and a fan of the occasionally boogie in the kitchen & indoor plants.
I'm a 26 year old male who has lived in various sharehouses for the past few years whilst working full time. I recently returned from a 4 month overseas trip and decided to leave my 6-year job behind as well. However, I still have plenty of money in savings, so paying rent/bond/bills are no issue at all, and once I am settled in a place I will jump back into the workforce. I pay things on time and am a tidy housemate. I produce music and am into photography/video and generally enjoy being creative. I also enjoy cooking, so I cook most nights too. I enjoy a good chat, and have travelled quite a bit so am open to many types of people from all walks of life. On some weekends I might be out and about, but other weekends I might be relaxing at home. Every now and then I might head away to a music festival for a few days, too. My main requirement is that I would need a large room to hold both my bed and my large desk with studio equipment. Even though I make music, I am courteous of others and at night time can make music on headphones. Cheers - Joel
Hi there! My current lease is up in Feb and I'm looking for an unfurnished room to rent, preferably less than an hour commute from the city. I work full-time Monday-Friday, and tend to just stick to my routine during the week. At weekends I spend my time going out with friends, catching up with family and relaxing at home. I’m tidy, quiet and considerate and would be looking to rent with people the same. I'm always up for a chat and enjoy the occasional social drinks, movie nights, games nights and the like but also enjoy my own space too. I am moving with my 3 year old koolie, Rikku. If you’ve ever wanted a dog but don’t want the responsibility Rikku would be ideal! She’s used to living in sharehouses and loves all the people. I can assure you she’s very well trained (top level obedience and currently training in agility) and I walk her daily (she’s an excellent running partner if you need one!). Both my past landlords have known about Rikku and it’s never been a problem. She’s predominantly an outside dog but I do sometimes have her inside in the evenings to watch tv with me. She is 100% housetrained and will quickly learn to stay off furniture and out of rooms that are off limits. However she does need a backyard so unfortunately apartments/townhouses won’t work. Rikku’s never lived with other pets (except for a top goldfish named Yevin) but I would be willing to try it. She doesn't always get along with dogs but would love a cat friend. If you’ve just set up a new sharehouse (or someone just moved out and took everything) I can also provide the following (otherwise I will be storing it with the parents): -dining table -bookshelf -washing machine -fridge (fits food for 3 people) -couch & two arm chairs -chest of drawers -bean bag -coffee table Cheers :)
Hi, I'm 31. I work as a criminal defence lawyer (so defending people charged with offences ranging from serious drug trafficking to drink driving). Before that I worked for a Judge. I'd say I'm easy to get along with and I'm interested in most things (probably too many things!): - I try to go swimming once a week; - I play organised hockey and have a kick of soccer with friends most weekends; - I like a range of music and usually go to Rainbow Serpent and the occasional event; - I go down to the beach a fair bit in summer; - I read pretty widely and I've just started learning how to draw; - I've done quite a bit of travelling and stuff like picking grapes in WA and reasonably lengthy hikes. I'm pretty easy about how much I need to pay. It would be nice to be in a house with people who are happy to hang out from time to time. My move in date and length of stay is also flexible.
