Hi, I'm Elya! I've been in Melbourne for almost 3 years, originally from Malaysia. I'm currently an Arts student and will be graduating soon. Looking for a place to stay over the summer (but hopefully longer!) while I figure out what's next. Dates are sort of flexible. For potential roommates: I'm clean and tidy, still learning how to cook, not much into parties, here to listen to you vent over a glass of wine after a long day, and always up to binge watch tv shows. That being said, I will definitely respect your privacy and if you want to keep to yourself, that's cool too. If you're interested / want to know anything else, feel free to contact me! Bonus points if you have a cat.
Hi! I'm Teagan and I am currently finishing my second year of my Bachelor of Arts at ACU Melbourne with a double major in History and Literature and I plan to go on to do my Masters of Teaching, to become a secondary teacher! I am originally from east gippsland and I moved to Melbourne for uni, where i spent my first year in a two bedroom apartment with a friend, and my second year in a five person sharehouse. I always pay rent and bills, as they are my first priority with money, and I'm always up for making friends and doing fun housemate stuff, but I'm also perfectly content to keep to myself if that's what you're looking for. :) I'm also fairly easy going and reasonably tidy. I'm always up for going to a gig, or having a gossip, and i'd be happy to freak out about uni deadlines with you if you're also a student :p I'm also looking to move in the first half of january :) x
I'm an easy-going, Finland-born guy who has adopted Melbourne as a home and is used to sharehouse living. I'm tidy, courteous towards other people and respect other people's space and privacy. I work in a small architecture firm and in my spare time pretend to dabble in woodwork or pot plants if there's room for it. I enjoy getting a drink or a coffee with my housemates, and try to do some sort of regular exercise.
I have my head screwed on straight!! I'm quiet, clean, respectful and considerate. I enjoy a good laugh and try not to take life to seriously. I work full time as a forensic outreach worker. (Usually around 9 to 5) I have weekends off so I'll usually head out of town to see my family. I'm a very reasonable person with a positive attitude. I'm down for a chat but will respect your space if you prefer to be alone. Love to cook and be outdoors. No mental or physical illness.
After one year living in Melbourne, we went to India for an awesome month and a half, where I was doing a yoga teacher training course and Xisco was traveling around and discovering the country. Now we are heading back, our jobs are waiting for us, and we are going to stay at least two more years in Melbourne. I'm an interior designer and Xisco works for an online school. We are easy going people, working full time and with lots of projects in mind. Very busy people but also, always open for a glass of wine and a chat. We have been sharing apartment in Melbourne and in different cities since 2009 so we know how people like to be treated and the do & don't. We are food lovers and our Spanish background make us very good cookers. Are you ready for Sunday paella? Please, let us know if you are interested in meeting us. Thanks for your time :)
We are the perfect couple, very relaxed and easy going. We are from Venezuela, South America (we have the latin flavor, trust us). We love cooking (we haven't had a proper Aussie BBQ yet), drink some beverage (tea, coffee, wine, beer or rum), have conversations, watch Netflix and share stories from time to time. We are very, very clean and we would like the soon-to-be our roommate exactly the same. Cheers!
I'm respectful and considerate, easy going & tidy, don't smoke, enjoy a healthy & quiet lifestyle. In my free time I enjoy drinks with friends, going to gigs and hiking the great outdoors

Hi there! My name is Zane, I’m 24 and originally from the gold coast, I moved to Melbourne about two months ago for an amazing full-time job opportunity at Melbourne Graduate School of Education (UniMelb). I consider myself social, laid-back and easy to get along with. I have the prospect of finding housemates who also have pride in their house environment and appreciate the beauty/comfort of a warm, tidy and welcoming space to come home too at the end of the day and are independent like myself but also social enough that things like housemate dinner/drinks is a something that is welcomed. Outside of this I enjoy cooking (I’m a pretty good cook if I must say!), music and the arts; catching as many gigs and stage shows as I can and LOVE to discover new cafés and eating spots over weekends.
My name is Nigel. The room I'm renting will become unavailable soon as the person I'm renting from returns from business. I'm a clean, friendly housemate who loves to cook. Ive been living with a dog so I'm good around pets. I work long hours labouring on building sites, and I trained as a carpenter so quite handy around the house (just don't ask me to do any plumbing). Any other details please feel free to contact me.
We just moved to Melbourne a couple of months ago and are looking for a place to call home. We have a very friendly one year old boxer dog called Boomer. About me: I've been working internationally as a physics chemistry and maths teacher, but I'm starting a masters in climate science next year. I like good food and solving the world's problems over a few glasses of wine. About Nic: He's American - one of the good ones... He is funny, easy-going, and a great cook. He is currently working as a landscaper, but is looking to get into social work. Cheers, Zoe, Nic, and Boomer
I'm a happy and calm person, I really love Home and love to make a nice place to live in. I'm considerate, I really value a friendly and happy environment. I love tea and enjoy cooking and sharing food and giggling. I do web design from my computer and enjoy playing games (both computer and board) and reading, craft and making things. I'm from Brisbane but have lived in Melbourne for 2.5 years now. I have a beautiful cat called Kitty, who's very loyal to me but also will definitely warm up to friends when she knows you.
I'm 27 and work full time in the city as a law grad. Flexible with move-in date! I'm looking to live with housemates who are pretty independent like me but also want to get to know each other and hang out from time to time. I like to get out and about on the weekend for a bike ride, go to whatever markets are around or go to the pub for a few beers. Also enjoy relaxing at home sometimes as well. I probably spend 2-3 nights a week at home, and will usually be out the other nights at sport or otherwise. I love sport, play hockey all through winter and love going to the footy or watching a few games over the weekend. Ideally looking for a quieter room a bit removed from the common areas, but open to looking at all rooms.
Hello everybody!! My name is Anthony, Italian, looking for a house to share! currently working as a baker! I'm clean and respectful person who enjoy having a chat and a laugh, sociable and looking forward to meet new people. I don't mind to share a drink or a meal at all, but equally respect other people's privacy. Like practice sports, in particular rugby union!, exploring Australia(when possible), watching movies. Thanks!! Anthony
We are artists from London looking to start living in Melbourne. Greg is a trained fine art framer, and harriotte was a manager of a cafe. Both enjoy travelling, cooking and wild life documentaties. We are sociable together or apart, looking for people who like to chill and cook together with a glass of wine or two. Greg is in to collecting records (unfortunately all his are in London) so be great to meet someone else who is into their music. Harriotte likes Pilates, pottery and has an appreciation of disco music. We are easy going people, down to earth and looking to make new friends.
Hi! I'm Miri, I'm 21 and currently studying Photography at RMIT and working part time in the city. I'm a regular gig goer, taking my camera along taking snaps and vids, op-shopping and market hunting for vintage gems and some good ol' chats over a glass of red! Looking for a house that is social, happy and easy going environment, but also being aware of the occasional study cram before exams and housemates being considerate of this time. Thanks! :)
I am from Melbourne and Vince grew up in Colorado, USA but has been in Australia for the past 6 years. I work as an early childhood teacher and I am currently finishing my masters in teaching. Vince works for a non-for-profit educational theater company as well as working on a startup which helps people use smart meter data to find the best energy solution for them. We love to cook, brew, garden, we are into sustainable living and enjoy hanging out with friends and family
Looking to start a share house that feels like home, close to the CBD and public transport with plenty of space. I am fairly easy going and tidy. I like to have a glass of wine in the evenings but am usually off doing something like drawing, rock climbing or catching up with friends. As I'm very creative, a space that could be used as a study (even a garage) is important. Hoping to find people that like to hang out sometimes and are respectfully clean. I have all the furniture and things needed to set up a house. Flexible on location and move date.
Hi I'm Elise! I have just finished my Bachelor of Education and am looking for a great new place to live with some awesome people. I will be working part time with some camps over the summer, hopefully starting full time work as a CRT in the new year. Here are a list of reasons that make me a fantastic roommate; Easy going but do enjoy a tidy home. I am quite a small human, which means I can fit into a lot of places (often handy) Im pretty sociable, always up for a chat and some fun, but can respect space and enjoy my own company. Will watch anything on tv.
Hola hola! This is Pablo, a 26yo interior designer/architect from Spain who recently moved back to Melbourne (already lived here 2 years ago). I'm currently at a friend's room so im in the hunt of a proper place to move in as I will stay here for a considerable length of time. Last time I lived in Fitzroy (Bell St) and loved it so that's why im looking around this area, North Fitzroy, Collingwood and Carlton are also convenient for me! I'm super easy going, responsable and tidy so if you guys think I could fit as your future housemate and you feel like meeting me in person PLEASE contact me! :) _Ps: I love cooking so I offer myself to make either paella or any Spanish meals anytime you want! :) :) Cheeeers!

Hi! My name is Lucy and I'm in search of a long term share house for me and my cat, Dexter. 😊 I'm 22 and working full time as a barista in Northcote. I'm social but quite shy - the cat is much the same. I enjoy a good sci fi movie, hardcore gigs and smashed avo on toast. I'm a social drinker but not a big party girl. I like making home cooked meals and having a glass of wine or two in front of the tv 👌 Looking for a mature household with likeminded people. I am a very clean, organised and considerate person looking to be a friendly addition to your home. I understand people may be put off my the cat. I'm happy to pay for a pet bond and will bring Dexter for a housemate meet and greet. He's great with other cats but not so great with big dogs. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I am a 20 year old duuude, originally from rural Victoria but have been living in Melbourne since I completed year 12. I work casually at a warehouse and I receive centrelink payments. Just finishing up getting a certificate IV in youth work and looking at taking a break from study next year just to enjoy life and save a bit of money here and there. Very sociable guy, enjoy drinks and going out. However I will respect what my housemates want. Can be tidy but also don't mind a bit of mess, either way is cool with me. I listen to music a lot and have a big collection of CDs and records that I cherish dearly. If you've made it this far chuck us a message! Thanks
Hoping to find some friendly people to live with. I am a 25 year old guy working full time in the city in customer service. Originally from Tassie and been in Melbourne about a year now so still love exploring the city and trying new places to eat/drink etc. Would love some housemates who would also be keen to do things like this. Spend most of my weekends out and about going on roadtrips and bushwalks and looking around Victoria. I am fully house trained and have lived in lots of different share house situations before. I know how to tidy up after myself and always have back up supplies of toilet paper ready to go! Looking to spend no more than round $230 a week for somewhere nice. A yard would be great but understand that can be a bit hard to find in Melb
Hi there! I'm an easy going, clean and mature housemate looking for a room to call home from 27 October to 8 December, with the possibility of extending. I'm not fussed as to whether the room is furnished or not, but do need to be within walking distance to public transport. I'm originally from Tassie and have been renting in Melbourne for the last five years. I currently work full-time in marketing and merchandising. I enjoy a laugh and a chat but also value and respect personal space. I'm an active person and a big foodie, so in my free time I'm often eating out or exercising. I'm very mindful of energy use and recycling. If you think I could be a good fit for your home, please get in touch!
Hi! I'm a 26 yr old nursing student in my final semester, going on to full time work starting next year. I'm an experienced share house dweller very friendly, tidy, reliable and incredibly easygoing and am looking for a positive space that i can make my home. I am generally a crazy busy person but i love being able to have a chat over wine or cups of tea or sharing a meal. I am pretty active and love all things outdoors. I come as a package deal with my dog Wesley who is a 6mth old Aussie Bulldog who is very affectionate (loves a cuddle) and is very chilled out happy to hang by himself outside during the day. i'm looking for a room in a house that has fellow dog loving people or happy to find others to look for a house together. Preferably I'd like to share with 1 or 2 others (happy to live with couples) and am looking in northern suburbs.
Hi, my name is Gabbie. I am looking for a room to move in next month. I tend to be quiet and generally like to do my own thing & wind down after a long day (of classes) at home, so I'm very respectful of others' personal space/quiet time/privacy. I am friendly, easy-going, tidy, & always pay rent on time. Currently studying business at Uni, I'm a night owl but not a party animal. I can't live with cats but I don't mind dogs; even though ideally, I'd like a house without pets. Strictly looking for a non-smoking house. Some of the things that I enjoy the most are music, movies, and good food. Leave me a message and I'll try to get back to you soon, cheers!
22 year old male, very recently moved to Melbourne for work. generally work between 30 and 45 hours a week. I'm tidy and clean up after myself and happy to help with my fair share of general chores. I'm open to doing weekly group dinners but for most of the week I will be cooking my own meals. I love to have a chat and very much hope my future house mates do as well, but I like the occasional time alone. I do enjoy the occasional drink or two on the weekend, but I wont be throwing any parties at the house. I do enjoy the outdoors and Ill try to spend a good portion of my weekends out hiking and love the beach/water. I have no issue with pets and kind of encourage it if possible!
Hi I'm ash, I'm 21 years old and work full time at Bunnings northland, non smoker, no pets. Easy to get along with and mostly keep to myself :)
Hi everyone! I'm a newish fella to town, having recently moved from interstate for a job opportunity. Looking for somewhere around the (but not limited too) Collingwood/Fitzroy/Richmond area, preferably with a car space. About myself, I'm a pretty happy chappy - like to meet new people and laidback. I am 21, but I look like I'm 28 and have a mortgage and two kids. Like having my surroundings tidy (though not super anal with it). I work for an airline and get super cheap tickets to travel around, so solid chance I'll be away on some of my days off. I work 24/7, so I can be working at any time. I am super quiet getting up during awkward hours though! Thank you! Ryan
From California, I've just moved to Melbourne after a year in Paris. I'm working full time and am looking to replace my friends with kangaroos and to find some good gigs. Super into art, writing, books, netflix (/being generic apparently), and a huge fan of catan and other board games like that if your place is looking for an overly competitive addition. I'm a fan of hanging out with everyone in the living room but also holing up in my own room with a book and some tea. I clean up after myself and I promise I won't steal your beer glasses when I move out. Also like to bake a lot if you're into fresh scones.
I'm an Australian world traveller who has just moved to melbourne, travelled to over 35+ countries. I work as a travel agent during the day, am super social and bubbly, I'm used to living in backpacker hostels and share houses and am very tidy. I also run a travel blog if you want to learn more about me
Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old guy from Helsinki, Finland. I'm a multimedia designer by trade and usually work in the creative fields. I'm in Australia on a working holiday visa and planning to spend the following months in the awesome city of Melbourne. Currently my long term plans are pretty open so therefore I'm looking for a short term lease on a private room in a nice shared house/apartment with nice roommates. Ideally I would like to rent a room for the next 3 months or so, but I'm also open for shorter and maybe longer deals. I'm a responsible, clean, open-minded and an easy-going person. I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and exhibitions and also hanging out with friends and watching movies etc. I'm used to sharing apartments with other people and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. Contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!
Hello! We are a couple (Jacob and Kalina) and have recently moved to Melbourne and are looking for a new home. About Kalina: I'm a circus artist/instructor/dancer/nature enthusiast from Sweden/Switzerland. I have spent many years travelling to different countries and living in many a shared house. I tend to keep pretty busy and will be out of the house a lot of the time. But when at home I am clean, quiet and respectful of other peoples space. I love cooking organic healthy food and sharing stories over a glass of wine from time to time. Jacob: I'm an artist from Vermont, here in Australia for the next year before attending school in Canada for Artistic Blacksmithing. I'm looking forward to using this next year to take workshops in leather and metalwork in the city. The outdoors are my favorite place to be so I will also be spending my time reading in parks, going for bike rides, and hopefully finding a nice rock climbing gym. I have no pets of my own but love dogs, so if you have one I hope it'll be alright for me to spend some quality fetch time with them. While around the house I am quiet and tidy by default, but often open to some good conversation and a coffee/beer.
Oh hey there! We're a chill couple from Amsterdam and NZ, early 20's, and looking for a new place to live in Melbourne. We're social beings but also like to have our own space. Always up for a bevvy or a vino, but also like to just Netflix and chill. Both working in Melbourne to keep us busy and to support our travels! Give us a buzz if you have a room for us! Timo & Sarah
FLEXIBLE WITH MOVE DATE AND LOCATION :) Also, I have pets! Hi potential roomies! My name is Liv; a 26 year old female, working full time and studying Nutrition via distance. About me; I enjoy seeing live music, finding new cafes and eating my way across Melbourne, day trips to the Dandenong Ranges to immerse myself in nature and walking my pocket sized pooches through all of the beautiful parks Melbourne has to offer! I've had over 5 years of experience living in share house arrangements (in other words, I know to empty the bin when it’s full and to put a new roll of toilet paper on when the existing roll has run out!) Ha, but in all seriousness, living in share houses for this long has meant that I am very considerate, very open minded and respectful of others privacy/separate lives. I’m very clean and I take a lot of pride in the house environment. I love homewares and interior decorating- on a budget- (so much love for Kmart!!). I’m fairly easy going and social, so I don’t mind if you have friends over for a couple of drinks on the weekends. More technical stuff: I have a car so I’d need somewhere (free) to park. I have furniture that I can bring if needed (lounge, dining set, fridge, washing machine, hallway/side tables, kitchen utensils/appliances/crockery) and my own bedroom furniture. I would like a large sized room that comfortably fits queen bed, desk, bed side tables and has a built in wardrobe. I would prefer unlimited internet so I’d be happy to set this up and split costs with housemates or chip in to any existing plan. I’m not in a huge rush to move as I would prefer to wait until I find the perfect fit (house and housemates) so I’m fairly flexible with moving dates as I can stay with my folks in the meantime. I'm not too picky on suburb- somewhere East or South East of Melbourne that isn’t too far from the city (e.g 20 minute drive) with nice walking tracks. I come as a "package" as I have pets (2 teeny tiny dogs and 1 cat). The dogs are tiny (the type that you could fit in your hand bag) however they aren’t small yappy dogs. They are toilet trained indoor dogs however are allowed outside when I am home. They are walked almost everyday however are just as happy to snuggle up together on my bed and wait for me to get home. They are both very clean and go to the dog groomers every 6 weeks (Boo doesn’t lose any hair, Ruby loses minimal). They are very happy little dogs that simply LOVE people and are always happy to be on someone’s (generally, anyone’s!) lap getting attention! My cat Dexter is an indoor/outdoor cat (not allowed outside when it is dark). He is petrified of other cats so I cannot take him into a house where there were existing cats. Although he is scared of other cats, he loves dogs. I can provide rental references for the pets! About YOU; I am looking for friendly and social housemates (with experience living in share houses), who are happy to have a chat/laugh when we cross paths and share the odd glass of wine together. HOWEVER I am also a very independent person that appreciates time to myself- so suitable housemates would be respectful of eachothers space. Suitable housemates must LOVE animals and be happy to let my dogs outside to the toilet (if you’re home and I’m not). Suitable housemates would also be clean and share house jobs (rotating rosters have worked well in the past!). I have always lived with strangers who have ended up friends and I see myself living with like-minded people who wish to make a house a home- if I sound like someone you would like to live with, please get in touch :)
Hey all, I'm Elise, an 18 year old who moved to Melbourne just this year. I'm currently working in hospitality and looking for a home with a bunch of cool people who are willing to show me around, share a meal and an occasional drink
Dee and I are on the hunt for an awesome new share house. We both lived together in Richmond and decided it time to make the move. Dee is a photographer from the UK. She just got her sponsorship so she is here to stay. I am a Nurse from NSW. Moved to Melbourne about a year ago. We both spend our days off going for brunch, going to gigs, catching up with mates. I am not going to write a big note about how we are clean people but not too clean, sociable but respect peoples space. Just regular people looking for a regular house. If you have a house and would like to meet us, let me know.
I am easy going, chilled and I love a clean house. I am respectful of shared spaces and others privacy as I like to have my alone and chilling time. I love cooking and being French I got some cooking skills that could come in handy :) I love good food. I like having a drink, chilling and talking with friends.
I am looking for someone or two people who I can move in with at the end of this year. I am currently working full time but am wanting to go back to university to study Masters. I like sports; tennis, swimming and going to the gym. Other hobbies include; cooking, travel, seeing movies and hanging with friends. Would ideally want a person who is either working or studying that is easy going and I can get along with.
Well hello! I'm an American here in Oz on working holiday, teaching evening ESL classes to adults in the CBD. I'm a bit of a musician and writer, though without any instruments of my own here, it's been hard to play. In the mean time, I love hanging out in a good bar or going out for a good ol' fashioned all-night boogie. Also: brunch is life. That all said, I'm kind of a film and TV buff, so I need my downtime to catch up on all that, too. I keep things relatively tidy and tend to cook up big meals on Sundays that I'm more than happy to share.
Looking to create a new share or join an existing share with other positive, balanced, responsible flatmates who can cook a little, garden a little, are clean and dont take themselves too seriously. Cashed up as I work five days a week and also have a scholarship which funds my postgrad studies. Enjoy living in a decent home environment where everyone has their own lives and interests, and sharing an occasional meal together. This time around I'd like to live with people who are interested in creating a home environment and who also have a community outside of the home. I want to live somewhere with people who have their act together and expect a pleasant home environment together with mutual respect. After a larger unfurnished bedroom for QS Bed, plus a desk OR to bring furnishings into the living spaces if creating a NEW SHARE. Fridge washer microwave etc- most of the basics. Alternatively could look at storage if joining an existing share. Cat owner so after a place with an enclosed yard, not in a busy street and would prefer some room to grow us all veggies or at least a few potted herbs. Both myself and The Furry One would need a long term standard lease agreement. Bond and references available. Fitzroy North, Clifton Hill, Carlton North, Northcote, Ivanhoe East, Elwood, Elsternwick, Bentleigh, Brighton, Hampton preferably, but within about 20mins of the CBD.
Studying visual arts at preston polytechnic and completing a tattoo course at the Melbourne tattoo academy currently. I plan to start a BA at Rmit in the city in 2017, so I'm looking for a place closer to the university

I'm looking for a place where I can chill out with housemates, have somewhat regular dinners and interesting conversations with. I'm a personal trainer and work in the city. I get around on my bike or PT when its raining. I enjoy cooking and quiet nights in but also enjoy going out for dinner and a couple of drinks. I like to keep fit and do outdoorsy stuff.
Heya. I've just moved to Melbourne by way of Brisbane and before that, Canberra, for work with the APS. I'm clean, tidy and bill-punctual, chill, tall and nerdish; a longtalker, deadpan and absurdist banterer, dank meme connoisseur, humanities graduate, reliably good for drinks, games, generating food, dumb jokes, and making hay out of city loife. Pets are a life goal; big, sympatico, gender balanced share-households (4+) are a longstanding preference. I’m looking for the premium Melbourne sharehouse experience with some harmonious characters, somewhere colourful, inner-northish, with a bit of a garden and within reasonable riding distance of the CBD. I'm currently staying in Northcote with fam so I can move whenever, or even get on board with a team-up with other cool interlopers. If you've got a space to match and think that we might gel, don’t hesitate, shoot me a DM and let me know. No roomshares pls. Thank
Hey I'm chilled, easy going guy. I work in the north-east suburbs as a primary teacher (it’s my first year full-time after a career change with a photography/design background) - I've got grade 3 😁! I’m independent but love to hang out over a tea/coffee/beer/wine/dinner/netflix/movie night etc. I'm a passionate traveler, bit of a geek, out, do my best to stay fit, non smoker. On weekends I prefer to have dinner/coffee catch ups with friends and go to something on in/around the city.
I'm Zach, an easy-going 26 year old single male. I work full-time as a digital consultant in the CBD. When I'm not at work I tend to kick back at home with some music, television or video games. I enjoy socialising on weekends, but tend to keep things relatively low-key throughout the week.
Hi there, I've just moved back to Melbourne after 6 years living in Samoa, Myanmar and Paris. I'll be working full-time from November (as a legal educator for not-for-profits) and am looking for a happy, relaxed and friendly sharehouse to join. I'm an active person, into yoga, swimming, music, general socialising and the outdoors and when I'm home like a good mix of chill and chatter.
