I will be moving from Sydney to Melbourne for three months from January 18th which may be extended for a year after April. I’m clean and respectful and expect the same as I’m a working professional. I enjoy cooking and going out to eat with friends for the most part but I also love staying in and watching a movie. I finish work around 5.30-6.30pm daily and try to get to the gym 3-4 times a week so I save going out and downtime for weekends. I am a social smoker though I am quitting that - I never smoke indoors and I don’t litter.
I am a 31 yo social impact investor from the Texas. I have been in Aus 4 years. My job is 8-6p in the CBD. I bike to work, and do not own a car. I regularly use the kitchen to cook massive batches of lentils and veg mmm. There is generally a couple of liters of kombucha brewing on the windowsills. I start most of my days with a cup of tea and a stretch in the garden. I spend evenings chilling out - writing, stretching, maybe an episode of Adventure Time. After a particularly stressful day, I like to retreat to my bedroom for some cathartic release. On the weekends, I am either chilling in the garden, camping, swing dancing, being goofy.
hi Guys. I'm 36 years of age and looking for accommodation for one person only, which is myself. I'll be looking at moving in late December or early January. I was born in Australia, but come from an Italian backround, so I have respect and I am very mindful and take care of other people belongings. I get along with absolutely anyone as I am always chirpy and a little loud, so im always up for a chat, but also totally understand if you would prefer quiet time and your own space. I totally love my alone time also, I am a very good cook, and am studying youth work. If you like what you read please contact me 😁😀😀😀😀😁 Grace
Hello! I'm looking for a new home! I'm 29, vegetarian, love craft beer, music festivals, bass music, meditating, running and cleaning ;) I'm looking for a calm and happy household, I tend to be out the house a lot, but when I'm home I really value knowing my housemates and getting along. I work full time 9-5, happy with long or short term & happy to go on the lease. Ideally I would like to move in the first week of October but I'm flexible for the right place. I look forward to meeting you! :)
Hi there! My name is Ai full time student and part time working as a therapist(massage, beauty and holistic therapy etc...). I'm friendly, tidy, clean and mature Japanese. I like traveling, yoga, meditation, eating and drinking wine.
Hey there! I'm Lila, 27, vegan, a musician/piano tutor, studying childcare, and working at a Steiner School. I’m a reliable and clean housemate who values mindfulness in my home. Looking for a room in the inner-northern suburbs mid-late January 2019.
Non smoker, working in health and wellbeing and also studying. I enjoy company, quietly social and fairly active but like quiet time too. Have been living in my own place for 2yrs but would like to move closer to city such as Darebin area. I'm a bit eco minded so i would ideally like some garden / veggie beds. I play tennis, enjoy yoga and meditation. Love dogs but don't own one, sometimes i house mind just to look after dogs (and have a holiday). I'm allergic to cats. Ideally looking for a team up or share with 1 or 2 others as i have my own furniture. (PS I'm not looking for a boyfriend, just a house mate)
Hello , I am clean and tidy, respectful, sociable and I respect other peoples space and property, thats the important stuff. I am returning from spending a year in the UK and I am really looking forward to getting back to melbourne. I will be training to be a draftsmen with autoCAD and working on writing projects while working. Its fair to say that i would prefer not to get into a party house due to my study commitments but thats not to say I am a crusty old twonk. #lifeintheolddogyet. I love my sport, movies, music and books but the majority of tv passes me by. I am willing to share with anybody so long as your not overtly right wing or a strong advocate of Mr Trump. I am from Liverpool originaly (scouser) and i still have most of the accent, which you will get the hang of in a very short time, or we can communicate with hand gestures and interpretive dance. I will be arriving in Melbourne on dec 4th which would be the ideal time to move in but i am flexable, airbnb may be a short term option. My studies have a flexable time frame so I expect to be working full time also, i am experienced in a number of fields with numerous contacts, however i will be arriving with extensive funds so as to get a head start on my studies. By the way, I am flexable on the stay length. All the best Mark
Well howdy, Sheena's the name and making friends is the game. The main things I have been told are that I'm smart, generous, wise, and honest. I would describe myself as a person who adores meeting new people and respects everyone regardless of their differences. The qualities I possess which make me a great housemate include, but aren't limited to: clean, sociable, respectful, private, and I make some mean food (you’d die for my fudge.) I’m 18 years of age and moved out of home nearly 2 years ago, currently live in NSW with a housemate, and I plan to move to Melbourne after Christmas. I work two jobs as a waitress and I will find another one as soon as I move in. I also have my license. What do I do for fun? Well, simultaneously nothing and many things. Mostly I hang out on my phone like the majority of people nowadays, but when I put it down I play video games, draw, read, and of course, go to my local café nearly every day for a coffee. I also adore going for scenic walks and being in the present moment. I love going for a few drinks with friends on the weekends and I hate wine but respect those who can stomach it. If you’d like to know more, please shoot me a message, as I won’t bite :)
Hey! I'm Shak, I am 26 and I work in advertising. I recently moved back to Melbourne after spending the last two years in London. I'm pretty quiet during the week - often go to the gym or go out for the occasional dinner. Also do the occasional late night at work. I'm pretty social on the weekends, usually spending time with my family or going out with friends. Would love to live with someone who enjoys going out for a drink or having a glass of wine or five at home. Someone that will be a friend, but is also respectful of each others privacy/space. I'm not much of a cook but I am super tidy - never lived in a house with a cleaning roster but have always shared the cleaning. I have a car so looking for a place with some sort of parking (on or off street)
Hey there! I'm Ivy, from good ol' Byron Bay on a quest to Melbourne to study my love, Photography, at RMIT in Feb. I am currently studying childcare and working as an assistant educator in a childcare centre (from that fact alone you know i have good patience and am a pro at cleaning up icky things). The things i enjoy when i'm not working or studying are; - going to gigs - reading in parks, or reading in libraries with really comfy chairs - making collages - taking piccies of people (i'll take pics of you if you so wish!), and also taking piccies of the gigs i go to (I run a music blog with my current roommate that i do photos for) - listening to copious amounts of music (psychedelic rock/lofi/dream pop/alt rock is my jam, i can link you some playlists) - cutting my fringe too short - wearing cool hats and a lot of corduroy - watching sitcoms like the office 'n parks and rec, or the occasional terrible rom-com House-mate wise i'm very calm and easygoing, clean, tidy and respectful of personal space. I very much enjoy my own space too, i'm a massive introvert so i'll probably spend most of my time at home in my room studying or listening to music. Despite this i'm still always up to hang out and share some tunes or go to a gig with you or something ! Also I currently live with a vegan so i'm used to not cooking or eating meat in the house if that is necessary. I'd love to move into a household with other creative or music/gig lovin' people, but that's not a requirement obviously! I get along with anyone :-) Message me with any more Q's! (or if you want me to link you some playlists) Thanks!
I work at Max Watts live music venue serving the bar in the evening and working with production crew during the day. I love my job and share in the passion with some of my closest friends - we have a great crew and have the most fun. I’m often writing tunes and playing gigs with my band, heading out to the suburbs to see my family, listening to records, enjoying some solitude relaxing, or in good company chilling and sharing stories (and beers). I'm no master chef but I can cook, even if not that well, well enough to survive :)
Hello, me and my partner have recently moved to Melbourne. We're looking for somewhere to stay for the short term up until we go away for Christmas. We're easy going, tidy and respectful people. We enjoy meeting people but also do our own stuff. We love food - eating out and cooking and are interested in nutrition and health. Both like to swim and do yoga sometimes :)
Hi! My name is Owen and I'm a fresh grad, looking for a place to stay. I'm currently in the midst of looking for work in my study related profession, but rent is not a problem as I clean privately. I appreciate a clean and well kept home, and will do my part in keeping it that way. I also enjoy cooking and baking, so you can expect some food! Other things I enjoy are gaming, going out for brunch with friends on the weekends (or food in general), just chilling at home and some yoga. I also love furry friends, so they aren't an issue! (Bonus points if you have a doggo). I'm respectful of your space and am a private person myself, but am always open for a chat if you'd like. Most importantly, if you're looking for a housemate and a friend, I hope to fit your bill!
Hey! I'm Sasha:) currently studying full time so pretty busy with contact hours but in my spare time I love to hang out with friends, read, write, watch films, go on adventures. I have lived out of home for the most part of 4 years and really enjoy getting to know people whilst remaining independent and respectful of the living environment. Would love to be in, and contribute to a supportive home in which everyone feels like family. Thanks !!
Are you the cool people in a stressfree home I'm looking to share with? :) Moved to Melbourne years ago from Brisbane, Love where I live and have for a year, and my housemates! 27 y.o musician who loves having some beers and a socialise, pretty chilled guy looking for some like minded people. any musical related things im doing are always kept to a respectable volume. I work in the trade industry currently so keep pretty regular work hours but am not phased in the slightest by people working hospitality/uni style hours. Dont hesitate to contact about any vacancies or questions you may have, cheers ps says 6 months stay time but happy to go longer than that in the right place 🤙🏽
Hi there! My name is Jasmine, and I’m in a bit of a jam. Due to unforeseen circumstances my current housemate has to move to Sydney in a month, which leaves me with the delightful task of finding a new home! Ideally I’m looking for someone to apply for and sign onto the lease of a new place with me. So if you’re looking for a new home and don’t have anyone to share with, I’m your girl! Why you should choose me as your next flatmate: ⭐️ I have all the requirements to furnish an apartment already so no need to buy couches etc! ⭐️ Have epic quantities of rad kitchen stuff including a pasta maker ⭐️ Can cook and share meals ⭐️ Will frequently buy you random snacks/chocolate from the supermarket because who doesn’t love snacks? ⭐️ Expert cleaner and tidier ✌🏼 ⭐️ Bookworm aka all of my hobbies are quiet 😉 ⭐️ I also come with a rabbit who is adorable and always up for cuddles A little about me: I am a 25yo masters student, studying teaching. I’m a quiet, introverted, bookworm-y kind of person for the most part, but I do like to have wine-induced chats and fun as well. I tend to be a bit of a homebody - I keep things neat and clean, I like to share home-cooked meals, and just generally do all the things that make a ‘house’ a ‘home.’ I also have a pet rabbit who is precious and precocious and non-negotiable as I love her more than life itself. 😛 I’ve lived in quite a few share houses in my time, and at this stage in my life I’d really like to find someone who can be a friend as well as just a housemate. Someone with whom I can share meals, chats, movies, brunch, gossip, and invite out to join my other friends too. So if that sounds like the kind of house you’d like to life in then please do hit me up!
Hi all! My name is Sarah Todd and I am a writer/media student from Brisbane. I am currently working on publishing my short stories, and I also work part time. I am extremely tidy and respectful, but would love to build friendships and have a chat every once in a while over a couple drinks. In my spare time you'll catch me reading, watching trashy netflix shows, or hanging out with my mates. Cheers! :)
Hi, I’m Becky (35) I'm a disability support worker, study media and communication at La Trobe and every now and then I present children's activities and make balloon animals. My main hobby/interest is comedy. I go out to see stand-up a lot and like comedy tv shows and movies. I also watch documentaries, follow the news and read non-fiction books. Mostly I do my own thing, but I like to socialise with my housemates a bit and have the occasional house dinners or drink. I have all my bedroom furniture and my great grandparent's small table and four chairs. I also have a big painting that can go up in the shared area or my room. I will need somewhere to park my car. I don't care if it is on or off street.
Hi, my boyfriend Camilo and I are looking for a place for the next 6 months at least. We are looking for a cozy place that feels like home, love potplants, places for sitting, reading and drinking tea or wine on our own or with our flatmates. We are fine with pets. We are not looking for a party house. We are neat and tidy and used to and happy to share in cleaning duties. I am studying art and photography and work part-time as waitress while also doing a bit of freelancing on the side. Camilo is studying project management and works as barista, cook and soccer coach. We have to move out of our current house on the 15th December latest, but would ideally be looking for a move-in date from the 10th of December. We'd love to hear from you if you think that we'd fit in well in your house.
I am very clean, tidy, and I am a friendly person. I am 29 years old and I am a graphic designer. I like good music, I like dancing and sharing new life experiences with other people.
Hi, We're Robin and Jack, 2 friends who are looking to move out around mid December. We were looking for a 3 bedroom house and a 3rd person to join us. We're both 26 and working full-time or near-full-time in the CBD, 9-5 jobs. Robin also has a lovely and friendly little dog Inka who will be around 50-70% of the time (shared with parents). We've both grown up in Melbourne. Looking for a place max 750 a week for 3 bedrooms (so 250 pp/pw) and preferably 2+ bathrooms. We're pretty flexible with location, as long as it is inner city and easily accessible to the CBD. A little bit flexible on the timing (date). We're good friends, pretty relaxed and fairly social. We both like cooking, and will keep a neat house. Not going to be having many/any crazy house parties. Pretty quiet and chill on weekdays, and outgoing on weekends. Gym, Brunch, etc. Looking for someone preferably with a similar lifestyle! Please message, and let's catch up if you're interested!
