Hey dudes, I'm an Electrical Engineering student at RMIT looking for just one other student or similar aged flat mate (guy or girl idm) to rent this apartment with me at 288 Albert Street, Brunswick. I love my motorbikes, all types of music, spicy food and chilling out with good mates. I work at 7-Eleven up in Epping, have a lovely girlfriend and I'm looking to move out so I'm closer to Uni and have my own place where I'm comfortable. Chuck me a message if you're keen :))
Hey there all flatmates!!! i just came back from my 6 month travels overseas, now im back studying and working while looking for a place as base in Melbourne to explore and enjoy the former most livable city in the world. im an art lover, photography fanatic, people person who is always up for an adventure. looking forward to hearing from you :)
I’m responsible, considerate and respectful. I will clean up after myself. I value communication and integrity. I’m warm and friendly - can be sociable - but will also respect your space (I’m an introvert). I’m fine with pets. Non-smoker, don’t drink, prefer cosy gatherings to big parties. I’m also a devout Christian. I’m moving from Singapore to Melbourne in 2019 to pursue a teaching qualification at Uni Melbourne. I studied Literature for my Bachelor’s. I enjoy reading, writing, baking, illustration, travelling and connecting with people over brunch/coffee. An afternoon’s ramble with a friend is one of my favourite ways to relax.
I'm from NZ, moved to Melbourne 5 years ago. Working 4 days a week in the CBD. I love music, games and catching up with friends. I like to keep shared areas clean and tidy. I've been flatting for over 10 years now so I have a lot of experience, am well house-trained and have always gotten along with my flatmates. I generally like to do my own thing, but I'm always happy to have a chat and a laugh when possible and eat a meal/watch something together occasionally.
Hey! My name is Tatiana. I'm a 22 year old student from Perth, studying a BA/BS double degree at Swinburne. I also work part-time as a bartender at a strip club. My hobbies include seeing films at Cinema Nova, watching NBA games, going to the NGV, and listening to all kinds of music (particularly rap, alt rock, punk and metal), amongst other things! I'm quite reserved and generally will keep to myself, however I don't mind occasionally socialising. Ideally, I would like to have friends over now and then, and do not mind if my roommates have friends over or want to throw the occasional party etc. I'm quite clean, and would like to have a cleaning roster in place. It's important to note that because of my job, I'm a bit of a night owl and will be coming home from work around 4-8 am. Smokers do not bother me at all, and I'm very LGBT+ friendly! My move in date is super flexible, I'm simply hoping to be out of my current residence by the end of the year. Thanks for taking your time to read my post, I look forward to hearing from you!
I'm 25. I am originally from Lismore, far north coast NSW. I'm a dual citizen of Australia/Ireland. Disability support and occupational therapy are my life passions. I work as a disability support worker (DSW) for City of Port Phillip, Scope and Independence Australia. As a DSW for City of Port Phillip I provide support in creative activities/community access for people with disabilities. In this work I provide support at Holiday Arts programs, a community disco, St Kilda Veg Out community garden, community kitchen and community theatre. As a DSW for Scope Australia I provide clients support with therapeutic creative activities at a day and lifestyle options centre. As a DSW for Independence Australia I provide in-home personal care for clients living with spinal cord injuries/cerebral palsy. I am also a 3rd year occupational therapy student. I play ultimate frisbee. I can attempt to show you how to (poorly) forehand throw a disc. I love long distance running (half marathons), cycling, rock climbing, mountain biking and trail running. I love to travel, I love backpacking and I've lived in Nepal a few times and travelled in the EU, NZ, India and Malaysia. Tassie in our own backyard is still my favourite place on earth. One of my favourite things to do in Melbourne is a day trip to St. Andrews markets. I'm clean, quiet, easy going and super reliable with rent.
I’m Grace and first and foremost I will clean up after myself and keep the house tidy 👋🏻. I thoroughly enjoy burgers, football, Netflix & live music. I read and write lots, I’m not a party person, more on the mellow side actually. A very good listener! I’m moving to Melbourne from Alstonville NSW to find work and then begin study next year. I’m actually a recently qualified hairdresser, but I’ve decided I need to follow my love of art instead🤷♀️.
I am a quiet and friendly flatmate, who keeps her own space and shared spaces tidy and clean. I am up for sharing a meal, a movie and good stories. I love learning about different cultures, and having in depth conversations about life, time and space, love, meditation, dancing, travels, and the environment. I am looking for a place for at least 4 months ;). If all goes well with the shared house, I'd like it to be more than that.
Hey guys I'm Kylie I'm a laid back creative that loves Photography as this is my part time job and I wouldn't swap it for the world. I also work as a camera sales person which is pretty cool :) I'm clean and don't like messes, friendly and can make a good coffee. I love animals chilling and watching movies/tv shows and having a drink every now and then. . Ask me anything I'm an open book and get along with everyone. My positive vibe is what people notice and my bubbly personality. I also look younger than 32 (so I'm told) anyway send me a message if you would like to meet me. Thanks Kylie :)
Originally from Perth and came east to study Business and Health Science, I'm studying full time at La Trobe Uni and have 2 part time jobs on my off days. Easy to live with, I'm not a stress-head, i clean up after myself and am easy to get along with. Physically active but not a super health freak, I enjoy a night out and checking out live music and all of that HMU! (not the sweaty one in my photo)
Hi Brittney!! (or Britt or B!) I'm one relaxed gal that loves a good chat, movie and an adventure. I am currently doing my honours degree in Zoology at La Trobe and will be done in October! Uni is usually 9-5ish and I also work Friday nights at a pub (don't worry I'll be quiet). Also a hairdresser so haircuts all round! Overall a decent human that won't steal the last bit of chocolate in the house and will always help out!
Hi my name is Luke I'm a 29 year old single sales rep. I have lived in many share houses all over Australia due to travelling a lot with my last job. I love animals and will happily take on any future housemates pets as my own. I keep it pretty tame during the week and don't mind having the odd big weekend every now and then. I'm very social and easy to get along with. I'm looking for people similar to me and definitely will not get along with uptight people with too many Rules. Feel free to message me if you have any questions 😎
I'm Jasper Caverly, a 21 year old male student at Swinburne studying Media & Communications. I'm a lover of music, film and literature; and an amateur writer and musician myself. I currently work at the Grace Darling in Collingwood, although dependent on commuting abilities, I may be looking for new employment (something I've never struggled with). I'm a quiet and somewhat private person, who isn't seeing anybody at the moment, so I'm more than happy to respect others' needs for the same. On the other side of things I do love a good chat over dinner or a glass (or two) of wine. I have lived in Melbourne for a year and a half now, and lived in London for a year beforehand - so I have plenty of experience living outside of a family home as an adult. Hopefully this quells the instantaneous fear of a young 20-something in your home! Is there anything else you would like to know? I'm happy to share more with you !
Hey Guys My partner Max and I are looking into moving closer to the City for Work and Uni in the next month or two. I am returning to Uni next year to study my Masters in Health Science- Osteopathy. I am a really creative person and passionate about all forms of art and gardening. I also work part time with my partner on his business, designing and facilitating warehouses interiors with new and recycled pallet racking. Most of his clients are in the western suburbs but really he works all over Melbourne. So we are pretty flexible with location. We would love to either move into a whole property for a reasonable price unfurnished, a share house with a private room unfurnished with our own bathroom or team up with someone/ a couple who is like minded and not regularly into drugs/party scene. (We both don't drink/ use drugs however we do smoke.) Someone/ a couple who is clean and respectful of our space and belongings but also up for chats and a good friendly house dynamic ✨ We have been looking at 3 bedroom houses as we would prefer a quiet office/study space in the house and only one housemate or a couple. We do not want to share a bathroom. We also have furniture for two bedrooms (if required we can furnish your room and increase rent slightly). We have our own living room furniture and appliances, a washing machine, dryer and two fridges.... keep our food separate? soooo no food fights haha ;) We would prefer a more modern space with lots of sunlight, heating & cooling and a backyard/courtyard. 🌱🍁🌞 dishwasher is a bonus 🐶🐱 Rescued Furry Friends: We have a 4 yo dog Billie she is a Mastiff x Staffy. Billie is a quiet, loving, lazy dog unless someone is at the door, her bark makes a good doorbell. She warms up to people very quickly and loves a cuddle. Jai is a domestic short haired cat 7yo. He is an absolute champion, mostly indoors and also very affectionate once he gets to know you. They are not high maintenance at all; really chilled and good company! They spend most of the time sleeping and chilling in our bedroom. We groom the regularly and clean up after them and ourselves!
Very clean & tidy, friendly, I am a bit quiet as I am very busy running my own business from home, and doing another full-time job, my friend Bruce is a smoker, but can smoke outside. Also, we have a bit of cooking experience, but do not cook so often at home, a few times/week. Ultimately, we are all straightforward and honest and would love to make new friends.
Hola everyone, I'm Santi and currently looking for a room for only 2 months (Start Sept to start Nov). Preferably in the northern suburbs as I study full-time at RMIT Bundoora, but not too far to the north because I work in Port Melb so somewhere around Northcote, Thornbury, Essendon would be ideal. I'm clean and quiet, spend most of my time studying/working or catching up with friends. If there's anything else you wanna know just message me, Cheers.
I’m a super easy going, creative and adventurous person always down to have a chat and hang out or just do my own thing. I have steady and reliable work as a Pilates Instructor that keeps me out of the house for most of the day so I will have no trouble paying my way. I’ve lived all over Australia but have settled well in Melbourne. I travel a lot so I may be away for longer stints of time but will still be committed to the household. My favourite things in the world are rock climbing and photography, preferably a combination of the two. Returning to study next year for physiotherapy or prosthetics and orthotics.
We are 2 young international students seeking a shared accomodation. We are friendly warm outgoing and fun, looking to share a place with like minded people
Just moved to Melbourne from sunny Brisbane a few months back! A bit about me -- I'm a 24 year old musician and appreciator of all that is interesting, intellectual, or beautiful. In my spare time you may find me reading about advancements in space technology, or watching oldskool Western movies. I DJ house & techno music at some clubs in town occasionally, but my intense partying days are long gone. I also work 9-5 at an office job in the CBD which keeps me pretty busy. Can handle a party house, but that's not ideally what I'm after. A decent sized room and a cool flatmate or two would be perfect! I'm very laid back, whilst having the utmost respect for anyone I'm living with, and keeping on top of shared responsibilities to keep the house vibes flowing smoothly :)
Relaxed laidback bloke Work full time as a plasterer Currently live in ballarat but work in melbourne so wanting to move closer to the city for more opportunity. Anywhere within a 30km raduis of the city. Respectful quiet person. Very neat and tidy. Hate mess. So there will no problem with me cleaning straight up after myself. Please help me out.
In Melbourne, from the states, waiting for my working holiday visa to finish getting processed. I'm an easy going person, just hoping to move out of my sister's guest bedroom. I'll always change the toilet paper roll, have coffee made in the morning, and take care of the garden. I'm not a great cook, but I'm willing to give it a go. Looking for a social bunch to adopt me into their lovely home!
Hi, We are Jeremy and Sofia a french couple from Aix les Bains in the Alps . We 've been together for 12 years so we know each other very well . We are in Australia for one year . Jeremy is studying english and working part-time and me I'm currently working part-time at a bakery on Smith street and teaching French. We are a peaceful couple. We enjoy food, I love cooking , see live music , sports like Parkour and yoga, walking in nature. We are respectuous of others, we take care of things and keep our house clean . We'll be happy to share a house with someone and have good time !
I’m a chilled sorta character, I cook heaps of good shit, I take care of my body and my home. I work with young people experiencing homelessness and fashion, and I also instruct yoga. I’ve practiced yoga for around 8 years and it is a passion of mine. I am well read, knowledgeable, full of common sense, have lead an interesting and colourful life, enjoy conversation and learning anything I can which may be of value. I’m really looking for somewhere that’s respectfully quiet, but not so much anally quiet. Sleep is the most important food for the soul and I intend to live life fully, so I must have a sanctuary in the form of my bedroom to rest, dream and elevate. I cannot stand disrespectfully noisy households. (or selfish behaviour) I just need a quiet spot to dream my 8 hours every night. I’m a morning cat, I like the small hours. Hit me up if you want a really good friend and housemate, who appreciates beauty, love, values, manners and integrity and will put effort and work into the home. I’m also fucking crazy, but for the most part just love living a quiet life of being, feeling and learning. The home is vital for our nurture, I take my crazy outside👌
