I have recently moved to Melbourne back in March this year. I should be able to move in from the week beginning 14 December 2020 I am a very clean and reliable person and very respectful of peoples privacy and space. I like to keep myself busy and active, but try and have some downtime when I have the opportunity. Very easy to get along with and happy to chat and be sociable. My two passions is that gym life and my motobike maybe call it an obsession lol

Hi there folks, I have lived in shared housing since 19, so I know all about communicating respectfully, putting in my share of taking care of the house, cleaning, paying bills on time and just general good community mindedness. I am originally from the UK but have lived in Melbourne for nearly 9 years and am in the process of getting citizenship. During COVID-19, I have been working from home, but usually I'm out and about teaching English to migrants. I'm looking for a long-term place I can have a peaceful haven to return to with mature and like-minded adults aged 25+. I wish to live with people I can trust and feel at ease with. On occasions, I like to host a dinner party and have friends over or BBQ lunch party on the weekend to practise my Aussie BBQ skills or a board games night; I play Scrabble, Bananagrams, Scattergories, Pictionary...that sort of thing, though not quite Dungeons and Dragons. I love cooking, especially Asian and Indian cuisine. With my British and Asian background, I'm really into cooking noodle soups, ramen, dumplings, make a mean variety of vegan curries, baking vegan desserts, and a bit of traditional English such as pies, pasties, and stews. I have a lot of interests and hobbies, but to name a few, I love growing vegetables and herbs in the garden, hiking, camping, writing, reading, playing acoustic guitar (at reasonable hours), health and nutrition, cycling, swimming, running 10km races, arts and crafts, travelling (when it was possible), permaculture, self-development, meditation and healing practices, organic food, writing, yoga/meditation/qigong, and an outdoor adventurer. I also volunteer as a hike guide for a Victorian hiking association. So I love hiking, camping and rock climbing. I also volunteer at Buddhist temples, organic farms or eco projects, and wellbeing/relationship/meditation workshops. My friends describe me as positive, intelligent, trustworthy and 'lovely' to be around. I like to think I am thoughtful and caring, yet assertive when I need to communicate problems. I'm pretty tidy and clean in the kitchen as I used to work in a commercial kitchen and did I mention I love cooking! I eat mostly a plant based diet (transitioning). On rare occasions, I may eat seafood or chicken. I don't mind if other people eat meat/dairy etc. My current landlord has plans to sell the house due to the maintenance costing too much. I have at least 6 months so not in a manic rush. I have to give 1 month's notice if I do move. I don't have a lot of furniture so won't be bringing anything to the house other than my personal belongings and some bedroom furniture. I don't smoke, no pets, no allergies to pets, don't do drugs and T-Total. Prefer housemates to not smoke, not take drugs and not be heavy drinkers, pets are fine though. :) If I sound like I could be a good fit, would love to chat initially by Zoom or other online apps but up for meeting in person if the vibe feels right.

Hello everyone, My name is Krisha and I'm a student who will be starting honours in Psychology at Swinburne next year. I work as a research assistant in Heidelberg part time. I currently live quite far from uni, work, and the city, and would therefore like to move somewhere closer to these areas. I'm looking for a private room to rent in the areas nominated below or ideally somewhere between/close to Hawthorn and Heidelberg. I would also prefer to live with female housemates. I have a car, so the place will need to have parking space nearby. I'm very tidy, easygoing, and respectful of others' privacy. Not much of a party person but I'm always up for a chat and to hang out. In my free time, I like painting, playing the piano, watching movies, doing yoga, and exploring Melbourne's food/music/art scenes. Feel free to contact me if you are looking for a housemate! Cheers, Krisha

I'm Charlotte, I accidentally escaped to regional Victoria from Queensland at the very beginning of Covid times & now I've decided that Melbourne is a lovely little delight and all I wanna do is settle into a nice cosy home full of wine and cheese (and hopefully a nice vege garden)! I've found myself in many a sharehouse and am honestly just looking to live with maybe 1-2 others, who value the simple things: cooking dinner together, drinking far too many coffees in the morning and maybe a few too many red's in the evening.

Hi, i can fix your furniture and electronics! Also ... I'm an Artist/Designer with a broad range of interests, skills and hobbies. Sculpture, creative technology, casting/moulding, woodworking, installation art, and so on. For money, I do freelance work in video games on technical art and VFX. I also work on exhibitions, performances, escape rooms in technical and creative roles. I've spent a lot of lockdown teaching myself to make good strong furniture from scrap/recycled materials though I'm not very precious about the things I make once they're done so I probably won't bring any of it with me but I am looking for a place that has a bit of a yard and a shed/garage or covered area for some arts and crafts. I have a strong belief in respecting other's privacy, safety and security and enjoy when other's can say the same as living with kind, thoughtful people is very appreciated. I don't eat meat, rarely drink, know my way around a kitchen and can make an often complimented vego lasagne. Clean crockery and sharp knives. I enjoy having some friendly pets around but by no means a necessity. I'm unlikely to have more than a few friends over on occasion. Not one for throwing big parties where I live. Thanks!

Hello! I love a good night out, but don't go too wild. I like my trivia nights and sports. At home, I am to myself, but don't hibernate in my room, I just like a bit of quiet time - that's all! I love watching shows with others and sitting in the lounge room. Cheese and wine are a great combo. I clean up after myself and pay rent and utilities on time. I have started to be more active and am jogging at local parks. I enjoy gardening and am really trying to eat healthier. Let's meet and see if we match as suitable housemates!

I am a software developer working full-time, I spend few days working from home and few days in the office, either way I spend most of time staring at a monitor with my headphone on. I have been living in shared houses for 4+ years now so I know all the basics of shared living like respecting others privacy, cleaning up after myself and paying the bills on time. I don't spend too much time cooking, I'm more of a person who prepares 3 meals in one go or get ubereats. I use public transport for travelling so I don't need a parking spot but would like an easy access to public transport.

I'm a master student in Data Science and now looking for a place for the next year. I'm pretty quiet and laid-back, and would love to share the house with people sharing the same traits. I would love to connect with people that I'll share the house with, so house dinners, board game nights, movie sessions, a glass of wine are on the YAY list :) I work as a web dev so if you have a strong, unlimited internet connection, you might be the One! :)

Hi! I work in the arts with the Starlight Foundation and am looking for some great people to move in with and create a home. If I'm not working I'm watching movies, writing or working out. Enjoy my personal space but also want to live with people that like a catch up/movie night. It would be great to find some other artsy types, but I'm open to any cool people. Looking to move out to any of the following areas by the end of July ... Northcote, Thornbury, Coburg, Brunswick and surrounding areas. Feel free to send me a message if you think we will make a good fit. :)
