Hi All! A little bit about me... I work full time for myself, in the Events industry and have a small office in the CBD. After work i usually have a routine of gym and or swim/run Mon- Fri. I also eat pretty healthily and will usually cook my own food. Yet always very happy to entertain and sit down for a meal with you :) I also love a glass of wine with dinner and relaxing/ watching movies. On the weekends im usually out and about enjoying the east - bars, restaurants, on the boat etc with friends or doing something active. I love being by the water in the sun with friends, good music and a glass of bubbles! Being in the events industry i go to a fair few events and interstate travel. Personally i love listening to music, meditation, having fun and a laugh yet also very respectful towards peoples privacy. I also love my own quiet 'Vanessa time' and usually chilled during the week after work and training. I dont smoke and am tidy! I do have a car so on street parking or an option for onsite parking would be great to discuss aswell at some point. Any questions please ask! xx
Hi ! my name is Louis and i'm from Paris in France, i will come to Sydney to do a 6 months internship. I like to do sports, cooking, hanging out and play music !
Hi guys, We are a French couple in our early 30’s, recently arrived in Sydney and both holder of the 457 visa. We have planned to stay at least for 4 years in this beautiful city! Lucie works in finance and about me IT project management is my professional area. We are looking for a nice place (fully furnished) suitable for a long stay in. Ideally not too far from the CBD for ours jobs and well located to get an easy access to the beaches. A balcony / terrasse with a great view is an important criteria. Lucie and I are friendly and easy going. We like meet some others people, share and learn different cultures (we have already lived 6 months in Peru) and travels (we have visited lots of European countries). We are respectful people, responsible, live clean and tidy. If you guys have a nice place to share and feel it could match together, please do not hesitate to contact us! Hope to see you soon guys :-) Aurelio & Lucie
Looking for a master bedroom type of room. Meaning double room, unfurnished with wooden floors, built in wardrobes, en suite and preferable balcony as well. Team up team mates: I'm also happy to have a chat about teaming up for a lease. I'd ideally be looking to team up with one person, but would consider 2 as well if there's enough living space. I'm looking for a longer term stay (2+ years) and I don't want to have people coming in and out of the place I call home, so ideally you'd be in a similar situation. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ABOUT ME - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Funny on occasion. Currently sharing a townhouse with my best friend in Paddo, but she's moving to Perth so I have to move on by my own. I love the lifestyle Paddington offers with cafes and quirky bars so I'd love to stick around in a similar area. Full time employed as a recruiter. I also gym every day after work and have a pretty hectic social calendar too so I'm rarely ever home. Always happy to tag along people on my adventures though. From January I'll be working full time, studying Geotechnical engineering AND project management at the same time, so moving forward you'll most likely see me buried in a book about hydraulics or ground water. (Hey, someone has to think its interesting right) If you'd ask my flatmate what my worst traits are living with she's say it's that I listen to my audio books on speaker... Considering that's the worst thing I reckon I'm pretty easy to live with. I'm a massive animal lover and sustainability enthusiast but I'm not the type of person to shove my beliefs down others throat. (but it would be cool if we have similar beliefs!) A pretty decent cook too and I don't mind cooking for others. I hate to vacuum but don't mind mopping so hoping to find someone who can share that burden. (Sort of a joke, but not really) Honesty is one of my core values, I always speak my mind and communicate when something isn't working. Please feel free to ask me any questions if you have them!
Hi, This is Kamer looking for a room around CBD, Rose Bay, Edge Cliff, Redfern, Enmore, Newtown area. Being a very easy-going and considerate, respectful and calm person, I have been very well-adjusted with professionals and students in sharing a place. Cleaning, taking care of the place, behaving positively and always fixing problems with a calm attitude is how I act around the house environment. I work full time. I always try to follow a healthy lifestyle and prepare my own food. I also try gym 3-4 days a week. I am not a good drinker and drink only at social occasions, birthdays and parties. I am not a smoker and would prefer a house in which smoking is banned. I am looking a single/private room. My move-in date is flexible as I can also move in in 2 weeks. Please do not hesitate to contact me or ask questions. Please feel free to text or send a message. Sincerely and Thanks, Kamer
Easy going uni graduate; born and raised in Germany, lived in Gold Coast for past 3 yrs. Looking for clean and tidy room preferably eastern suburbs. My hobbies/interests include cooking, tennis, tech startups, football, and going to the beach; therefore I won't be at home much, also starting my masters at USYD and working part time.
Just some young guys from Italy, who appreciate good laughs and cultural exchange. We're polite, clean and positive-mind, just like momma raised us! We just moved in australia with WHV, looking forward to work full-time and spend the rest of the free time by having fun and enjoying the great australian weather. Also, all 3 of us can cook and we can do it great! Italian dishes are garanteed with us :)
Edit: Because my work hours are typically 8am - 7pm my priorities have changed from close to beach with close to city as a bonus, to close to city with close to beach as a bonus. Moving down to Sydney from Brisbane to take up a graduate full-time position in Sydney's CBD. I'm keen to finally get down to the Harbour City and get settled in to my new life. All of my friends are in Brisbane so there's little worry about me having 'hectic parties' or anything like that. It does mean however that I am looking for people that I can get along with who aren't overly closed-off. That said, I'm sure there'll be days where I get home from work or my flatmates get home and just want to decompress in peace. I have no pets and am a non-smoker. One caveat though is I need a place that has some form of accessible, consistent car-parking spaces. Obviously a drive-way/garage is preferable to on-street parking but as long as I don't have to pay for on-street parking then I won't have a problem. I love the beach and am particularly keen to live in a place where the CBD is 20 minutes away from home and so is the beach (<20 minutes would be even better). A friend of mine is moving down to Sydney in early April so I am looking for a short-term lease. $350 is about as much as I reckon I'd be willing to spend on weekly rent, although ideally the rent would be closer to the $300 mark.
We are both Occupational Therapists moving to Sydney from New Zealand. We are looking for an adventure to meet new like-minded people, explore Australia and enjoy the amazing weather and beaches. We both love the outdoors, exploring the night-life and restaurants and are very sociable and friendly.
Hi my name is Rob and I want to be your roommate! A little bit about me... I'm from Manchester, UK and have been in Australia for three years. I work full time doing sales / admin / PA work, involved with a couple of small businesses. As a roommate, I'm respectful of other peoples schedules and I keep kitchens, bathrooms and shared spaces clean! As for what I do in my spare time - I'm an undercover super geek, like good bars and cocktails and enjoy keeping fit. Important to me: You're chill, keep shared spaces clean and have a positive energy. Modern apartment would be a bonus. Not important to me: Your gender or orientation, your race or religion, if you have pets or not.... or your age (but would probably work better if you're a driven 20-something year old or a non-boring 30-something year old) Please feel free to contact me with any offers! Willing to negotiate and I come with quite a few benefits
Hi! I'm a communications professional working for a global corporate (includes perks I'm willing to share!). I've been living on the northern beaches for a couple of years and am looking to start a new share home in Mosman as my office has moved to Barangaroo. I have a full house of next to new furniture, that ideally I will make use of, so I'm not looking to move into a furnished home. My date to move is flexible and I'm willing to wait for the right place to live! Would even be happy to meet someone to live with first and find the right place to live together. I like running and eating healthy generally speaking, which usually involves a bit of cooking. I love a glass of wine and a chat, but I'm not into partying hard. I'm social and always looking to make new friends, but equally also enjoy spending time on my own. I'm interested in arts and culture, but also enjoy trying new things and meeting people with different interests and background to mine. I'm clean and tidy, respectful of people's belongings and space. I'd love off street parking for my car but am flexible with this providing there is plenty of street parking available.
Hi All, I am transferring full time from Melbourne to work in Sydney starting in February! I am looking for a place to stay, preferably in the eastern suburbs and not too far from the CBD. After work I usually go to the gym and eat pretty healthily although I enjoy a glass of wine with dinner and relaxing. I would be looking for a housemate who would be happy to entertain and socialise and are also clean and tidy. Any questions feel free to message me!
Hi, I'm Kelly, born and raised in Sydney and I'm looking for a home for myself and my small dog Penny. I have been living by myself in Paddington for the past 2 years and we've also done the share house thing in the past and am open to finding some lovely people to share with again. I work in Finance in the CBD and study Interior Architecture at UNSW full time. Outside of uni semesters I work Mon-Fri standard hours, during semester I go to uni 2 days, work 2 days and work from home on Friday's. In my spare time I enjoy being active outside, taking my dog for a walk, going for a run or to the gym. I cook some nights but I'm not confident in cooking for others just yet. I enjoy a Netflix binge here and there, going to the movies, catching up with friends and exploring little pockets of Sydney. I am pretty quiet at home and tend to do my own thing but it would be nice to share a place with someone likeminded and have a snack/wine once and a while. If I have an assignment due I am sadly glued to my screen questioning why I left it until the night before... yet again! I'm looking for a home and not just a room to rent, room mates that are respectful and considerate of each others needs and schedules. I go out to socialise and come home to relax. I like to live in a tidy house but I'm not a clean freak by any means. My dog, Penny (10 yrs) is a Mini Fox terrier. Penny is fully trained, very quiet and has a lovely nature. While I'm out she is sleeping in a sunny spot. You wouldn't need to worry about feeding or walking her, she is 100% my responsibility. The other person would need to have a genuine love for dogs/animals and understand what comes with having a dog in the house (water dish on floor etc.) I have no specific move date, I'd just like to find the right home/person. In regards to possibly starting a place, I would prefer one other room mate (sorry, no couples) I have enough furniture to start us off (2 seater couch, 6 seater dining table, all kitchen utensils (minus the fridge) TV, book shelves, plants etc. I would be interested in getting a new couch so it's large enough for all room mates to lounge around on. Currently all of my belongings are in storage so we can decide what we do or don't need. Thanks :)
Hi I am Lauren a 33yo Australian. I have lived in Sydney for 7 years. I work in Events as well as being a Nanny and having my own online business within the wedding & events industry. I enjoy exploring what Sydney has to offer either trying new restaurants / bars or chilling on the beach or a day on the harbour. I am very tidy, clean and respectful of others. I enjoy being home and having a bbq, drink and laugh. Ideally I am looking for a room with an ensuite & balcony (room must have windows that at least open!) I have all my own furniture and I also have a car so I need somewhere to park it, either off street or easy to get on street parking. I look forward to hearing from you. Lauren

Hi I'm Dan, a teacher originally from the UK. I'm searching for a furnished room in a friendly, clean shared place. I'm sociable and it would be good to get to know new people :) I like to cook, go for walks, watch movies, swim, try to dance salsa, and am up for anything that will get me on the path to physical fitness. But also a bit of a foodie and like the occasional good wine or belgian beer. I've not surfed, dived, or climbed, all of which I'd like to try.
I am an independent guy who likes his own space but I like to socialize and not a recluse. I enjoy a good cheeky cooking session every now and again and a few sneaky drinks here and there. I am tidy and like to keep things clean but not over the top.
