I am a PhD student of history at the University of Newcaslte. I am neat, clean and like to keep things simple. I am sporty (I do fencing and squash, with occasional tennis), enjoy going to the beach, the pub or on a day trip. I am also vegan by choice, though I don't mind bring around meat. I also do some volunteer work in the community. I'm looking for a medium to large room, preferably close to the Uni.
I work full time as a hairdresser about to start a new job in pathology! I love the gym, love a drink but also addicted to Netflix and pizza! Living with my parents at the moment after my previous rental was unfortunately burnt down and hoping to meet some new people and live in a fun happy environment!
Hello, my name is Laurel, I am a social person who enjoys a couple of drinks but am also a conciousness student who wants to do well at UNI (in my 2nd year). I love the beach and reading. I like my own space but am also keen to hang out and meet new people (dont know anyone in Newcastle yet!)
Riley and I are a couple who will be studying our first year at uni in engineering and medcine. We are moving away from our home so we want a friendly environment to move into. I am a figure skater and we both love sport and doing fun activities. Please dont hesitate to ask If you have any questions about us !
Hi guys, my name is Hannah. I’m from China. I just finished my study in the uni, now doing casual work in Newcastle. I am very clean and tidy and prefer a tidy new-ish place to move in.
Hey roomie! 🤓 I’m from Muswellbrook and I just got a job in the Newcastle area working for myself (stable income 😉), I leave early and come back late, your favourite type of room mate 😂 I love people and the beach 🏖, I’m pretty artistic person I do a lot of drawings and paintings 🖼 Honestly, I’m just looking for somewhere safe to sleep eat and live without doing 8 hours commute 😑 I’ve done a tenancy/rental course. 📝 I already know the ins and out legal and practical. I’ve lived alone since 15, very hygienic living style. I’ve had multiple room mates with me being on the lease, so I know what it’s like. 😭 I can get furniture if needed! Look I’m an open book if you have ANY inquiries just flick us a message hey!
I am in my 4th year of University studying Speech Pathology and live in Newcastle.
I'm a final year nursing student at the University of Newcastle and work part-time shift work as an AIN. I love candles, baking, and binge watching tv shows. I'm the sort of person who enjoys company, but having lived in share houses for the last two years, I respect people's personal space as well.
Have lived in plenty of share houses and know the difference between private and respectful but also having a wine or two at the end of the week. I have recently returned from a contract as a social worker working in remote central Australia. Previous to this, I lived in Newcastle for five years but grew up in NZ. Love banter, shiraz, cooking , running, reading, travelling, gym but most importantly love a clean, pretty chilled out house to come home to at the end of a hectic day at work. I have a meduim size rescue pup that I found at the bottom of Uluru (pretty crazy story). So looking for a place that is dog friendly. She's super great, LOVES other dogs but she is still young so looking for someone that may have a pup as well to keep them busy! I understand that having an animal is a liability and have no problems putting down an extra deposit if necessary. Look forward to hearing from you all soon!
I’m easy to get along with and to talk to, I’ll be studying at uon in a degree of communications. I’ll also be working casually on top of my study. I’d love to live with a welcoming group of people who are both social and like to chill on their own. I love to cook (I’ll be nice and share😉) , write and read.
Im pat, 29, working full time in the Hunter Valley. Im looking for a share house preferably with a mixture of guys and girls who all hang out and are social together, but im open to all options. Im tidy, and am more than happy to get on the lawn mower, or help out around the place with general duties. Ill cook a BBQ any chance i can get. This is my 1st time in a share house situation, and im looking to make the most of it and make some new friends along the way. I do have a dog that id love to bring along, but i understand due to the nature of a share house, he might not be suitable, and he does have another place he can go.
I'm an easy-going, sociable university student who is looking for a private room within walking distance (or easy to reach public transport) to the university. For fun, I enjoy playing the piano, walking and of course, having a bit of a laugh.
My name is Maria, I’m 21 years old. I have a great personality and super easy to get along with! Love being social when I can. Netflix, gym and dance are my hobbies. I work an average of 30-38 hours per week! Respectful of others personal space and privacy but also don’t want to just brush shoulders in the hallway! I’m a clean and tidy person and always down for a chat :) please get in contact if you or anyone you know have a place. Thanks! Looking to move in early next year or next convenient!
Hi I’m Liam, I’m a 19 year old male who’s lived in the Newcastle area for 6 months. I’m an apprentice roof tiler. I’m a neat, tidy, honest, respectful and well mannered individual who is into cars, animals and friends and family. I love my job and I love to chat but I also respect everyone’s personal space.
Hola, I'm Mitch. Moving back to Newcastle to study Engineering at UON. I have been in Brisbane with the Army/ Ambulance since I was 18. Super clean and tidy, can thank the Army for that. Also know CPR if anyone has too big of a night :D Looking for respectable, clean and driven housemates who are looking to make the house a home. Ill most likely be in my room studying if what they tell me about Engineering is true, but if your ever keen to do something, I've been told Ive got a rubber arm.
Hi, my name is Emily and I am currently studying Primary Teaching at UoN. I am looking to find a place to live in Newcastle as I am from the country. I am flexible in regard to location as long as it is within a reasonable distance from the uni. Hoping to meet some new people and make some new friends but I am also respectful of personal space and enjoy my downtime. In my free time, I enjoy being creative, playing netball, reading and going to the beach among other things. I am very clean, respectful and easy to live with. Hoping to move in around early to mid-February and looking to share with females only.
Hey, I'm going into my 3rd year of physio at UON so would ideally be looking to move around uni. I also work part-time so am quite reliable when it comes to paying the rent. Im into my video and board games and just lazing about. I dont drink or smoke although happy to go out and spin some yarns. have lived in multiple share houses before and am quite clean and considerate of others.
First-year students moving from Armidale, looking for a room close to city uni and the beach, or Callaghan campus. We are easy-going and able to fit in with different lifestyles, and will respect your space and keep things tidy. We love music, going to gigs and enjoying the outdoors.
Hi! I’m starting my first year of uni this year and working part time as well, i love being at the beach in my spare time and finding cool places to adventure to. I love playing and listening to music, i always clean up after myself and always up for a chat. I’m from a small coastal town and am looking to make a really good group of friends during my first year out of home!
I'm just looking for a tidy, easy-going place to stay close to the Callaghan Campus of Newcastle University. I'm not the most extroverted person, but I'm still friendly. I enjoy fencing and archery, and I love animals, especially cats and ferrets. I'm currently going through Newstep to that i can study for a Bachelor of Science, with plans to move onto doing Zoology.
Hi there, I am looking to move to Newcastle in the new year and will be needing a place to live, preferably more than just a house but a home. I am able to transfer with my current job so I will be working almost immediately of moving to Newy. I will be studying nursing at UoN this year. I'd be looking to move in the first couple weeks of January. Would be a bonus is the room is partly furnished i.e. a queen sized bed but not fussed. I love the beach and catching up with friends mainly. I don't party a lot but am out of the house quite a bit. I'm a chilled, clean person and easy to get along with. I don't have any fur babies but would be a bonus if my future housemates did. I'm not picky on which suburb of Newcastle I live in as long as it's a nice neighbourhood...
I am simple, humble, smiley, quite and clean person. Most of the time I spent at University and busy with my research work on Natural Disasters and Climate Change. Prefer outings on weekends with friends.
Country girl moving to Newcastle January 2019. Will be full time studying and part time working, so I won't have a lot of free time. The free time I do have, I spend being social, don't mind a drink or two on weekends, bit of music, and going to the gym.. Love a chat but also appreciate the need for privacy and personal space. Looking to move in with some young social butterflies like myself, that like to have fun but are still responsible and respectful. If you think I would suit your household, send me a message :)
Hi! My name is Kate. I'm originally from the Philippines but currently living in Saudi Arabia. I completed my bachelor's degree in the US and now doing my master's at UON. I am easy to get along with and can keep my space clean and organized :)
Hi! I'm Indiana, 20 years old and about to begin a teaching degree at the University of Newcastle (Callaghan campus) mid year. I'll be packing up, leaving my full time office job and moving from my hometown in the Northern Rivers in mid to late May or first week of June. I am a respectful and tidy person to live with, quiet and low key but enjoy good conversations and the occasional wine. I've been raised to always clean up after myself and to contribute to housework, which is what I'm looking for in potential housemates as well :)
Hey there! I'm Sarah, I'm an 18 year old student about to start Medicine at Newcastle uni. I'm a respectful, friendly person who puts in to the house work and likes to keep communication open. I've been living away from home for a year and like to think I've gotten decent at cooking - happy to cook dinner for a social meal and chat with housemates or leave you to your own thing, since I'll also be studying a lot. I play guitar and sing, and I'm very skilled at taking spiders outside so you'll never have to touch them again! Happy to live with all kinds of people, animals etc. Would prefer a non smoking place but I'm flexible. Don't have a car so access to public transport/the uni is a big plus.
