Hi! We're two friends from Norway looking for an apartment in Brisbane, preferably close to St. Lucia. We're also open to sharing an apartment or house with other people. Lene (27), and I, Kali (29), will be studying at The University of Queensland for one semester starting this July. We're looking for a place where each person can have their own room, and we also prefer it to be furnished. For rent, our budget requires us to stay under $350 per week(approximately). We are also more flexible with the move-in date for now. A 5 month stay is preferable. Lene and I are at work here in Norway and are granted a stipend from our government for our studies in Australia. We're both also very much used to living with others, so respecting other people's boundaries and privacy, as well as keeping everything tidy comes easy to us:). In our free time we both enjoy going on walks and doing yoga, Lene loves exercising and watching movies, while I'm more into reading and creating art. I love eating out but also enjoy cooking and sharing fits, because of this, my go to meals at home are things like curry and soups (hearty things, which is lucky as I'm not used to this cold weather). My girlfriend has to remain in Cairns for the next 6 months for work, which means I'm likely to be away a few weekends visiting her, and I imagine she'll be down visiting me sometimes too.
