$325/week•22 year old man
I'm a 22-year-old on a working holiday visa, passionate about soccer, traveling, food, and politics. I love to go out for food, have a couple drinks a couple nights of the week but I also enjoy my downtime and watching a good film. I am tidy, helpful, respectful of space and not out until anti-social hours unless my job would require it.

Catarina and Ruben
$500/week•25 year old woman and man
Hi there! We’re Catarina and Ruben, a 25-year-old Portuguese couple arriving in Melbourne for the first time on a Work and Holiday visa. We’re both graphic designers and are looking for a place to stay for 3 months, ideally with a double bed and private bathroom (however the private bathroom it's not a must). I (Catarina) am passionate about animals, the outdoors, and going for walks, though I also enjoy a cozy afternoon of movies at home. Ruben is more of a homebody; he enjoys computer games, however recently has started to develop a love for padel. We enjoy spending time with others but also value our space and privacy. We’re organized and careful people, and we occasionally like to try out “kitchen experiments,” where we attempt to cook dishes from other cultures. So far, we think we haven’t done too badly! We’re excited to explore the city, meet new people, and hopefully make some friends along the way.

I’m from Ireland, I’m in Melbourne as a student. I’m looking for a private room in a women only household/apartment with a walkable distance to trains or tram with 1 or 2 other girls. I have previously done share housing. I am chill, always clean up after myself, happy to be down for a chat but also value personal space. I love fashion, going to gym & Pilates, dance classes and trying new restaurants with my friends.

Hi, everyone!😊 We’re a married couple from Japan on a working holiday. We’ve been living in Brisbane for about a year, and now, on our second-year visa, we’re moving to Melbourne. We’re flexible with both the area and the length of stay. We’ve lived in share houses before, so we understand how to follow house rules. We’re clean, tidy, and respectful of both our own space and the shared areas. We’re also easygoing and positive—fun people to live with!😊 (Of course, we’re considerate and not noisy in our daily life ) *Non smoker

We are writing to express our interest in securing a safe and stable long-term tenancy for our family. We currently live at 4 Binns Street, Altona North, where we have been staying temporarily since June 2025. We are ready to commit to a rental property that will provide stability for our 1-year-old son, Jameson, and allow us to build a home together. Currently,Jameson is staying with his grandmother until we secure a stable home, so this move is very important for us as a family. As tenants, we take pride in keeping our home clean, organised, and respectful to neighbours.I, Chelsea Holyoak, have worked as a Receptionist/Manager at Westgate Cybernetics for over 10 years and am currently on unpaid leave while caring for my family, supported by income protection payments. My partner, James Fox, is a concrete worker and DJ who is currently recovering from a motorcycle accident, we have the financial capacity to consistently meet rental payments. We believe we would make excellent tenants and look forward to the opportunity to discuss our application further. Thank you for considering us — we are eager to find a place we can call home!

✨Searching for somewhere ASAP ✨ 🌿 Kind, Considerate & Ready to Move — Seeking a Safe Haven ASAP Hey there, lovely humans 👋 I’m on the hunt for a room or short-term sublet — ideally near the CBD (since that’s where I work), but at this point I’m not fussy. What matters most is finding a safe, calm, and positive home where I can breathe again. My current living situation has become unsafe, so I’m putting my wellbeing and mental health first and am ready to move ASAP. A bit about me — and why you’ll actually enjoy having me as a housemate: ✨ Over a decade of shared living experience (so I know the golden rules: respect is key 🔑 , clean up your mess, and always replace the toilet roll). ✨ Always pay rent and bills on time — I've lived out of home since I was fourteen, so adulting is my strong suit. ✨ Clean, tidy, and respectful of everyone’s space and privacy. ✨ Great communicator and easy to get along with — I love a good chat, but I totally understand if you’d rather keep to yourself. ✨ I’m calm, considerate, and bring good energy to a home (and occasionally snacks). ✨I’m accepting of everyone, you can do what you want, I'm not here to judge you. ✨ Creativity sparks my soul. I’m happy to pop most of my things in storage and move in with just a few suitcases — and my good vibes. I’m looking for a few weeks or a few months while I get back on my feet & find a place I can call home for a few years. If you have a room available (or know someone who does), I’d love to hear from you. Let’s make life a little easier — and maybe even have a few laughs along the way. Thanks for reading 💛 If you have a friendly crew, I would love to hear from you!! 💛🌼😊. - T.C
