I (Karl) am 32 and finishing my PhD on small native freshwater fish. I love the outdoors and have a few hobbies/interests, but to be honset I spend most of my time at uni - even weekends, and when I'm not I try to spend it with Ashvini. I have an amount of tools and field work equipment, so storage space is important to me. Ashvini is a cool kid from Sydney who moved to Canberra 5 years ago to study landscape architecture. Since moving here she's developed a love of trail running and enjoys regular weekend getaways. She likes to maintain a relatively busy and active lifestyle but also enjoys spending time at home being creative. We're both vegetearian, but you don't need to be and usually do meal prep on the weekend. When at home we're unlikely to confine ourselves to our room and are happy to have a chat or play a board game when we can spare the time. We've got plenty of experience living in sharehouses having done so most of our adult lives and know how to clean up after ourselves and respect other peoples space and privacy. We're looking to set up a new sharehouse as our current one will be renovated soon. We have all the gear required - fridge, washing machine, couch, table, houseplants (though the more the merrier). You're welcome to bring stuff too. We prefer living in a clean sharehouse and like to utilise a cleaning roster, and hope you are like minded. If we seem like someone you'd like to live with then we should arrange to meet and if that works out, start applying for houses. Ideally looking for two extra housemates to rent a 3 or 4 bedroom home.
