Hi there! I'm originally from Adelaide and have been travelling around Australia for the past year, working remotely and house sitting with my dog, Stella. This winter, I’m looking for short-term accommodation between sits — normally I’d camp, but working remotely makes cold days (not just cold nights!) a bit tricky. While I could go the Air BnB route, I thought I’d post here too. Travelling and house-sitting solo can get a bit quiet, so it would be nice to share a space and have some human company now and then! I work full-time from home but I’m mindful about sharing space — I’ve been doing this a while and know how to keep things low-impact. I come as a package deal with Stella, my 3-year-old kelpie x koolie. She’s small for her breed, well-trained, super chill, and used to life on the road. I’d love to find a relaxed household where everyone’s independent but up for a chat, a shared meal, or even an adventure now and then. I'm not set on a particular location, I'm house sitting across Tasmania so pretty much anywhere would suit! PS I know super short stays aren’t for everyone, but if you’re in between housemates and open to something flexible, I’m tidy and respectful — and happy to have dinner cooking when you get home!

From the UK and visiting on a working holiday visa. Moved to Hobart to work Dark Mofo but might be staying long term now as I've been offered a permanent position in Hobart. I've got a place to live until the 14th July and I'm waiting on the new role to be confirmed for definite so just putting out feelers for any potential long term rooms if all goes to plan. Ideally want to be within 25 minutes commute of Glenorchy for work, bonus points if it's cycling distance. New Town seems like a pretty good location but I'm open to other areas My main hobby is bouldering which I like doing both in the gym setting and out on the real rocks. I like cycling, hiking, nature...basically anything that gets me outdoors. Clean/tidy/polite/quiet. I tend to keep to myself but I'm up for a more social vibe if that's desired. Storage for my bike is a bonus :)
