I will be returning from a two month trip to India in early May and am looking to move from Canberra to Brisbane for warmer weather and a city with more things happening. I'm looking to live in or near New Farm. Some more about me: When I'm not home - I currently work full time as a public servant and teach yoga on the side. I typically work 3-4 days in the office (so will work from home max 2 days a week). I love to get out of the house to socialise and move my body so will be going to the gym, yoga and dance classes and plenty of workshops/events. During the weekends I love to pack up my car and head out to hike and camp (or to the occasional doof), or will be visiting my family in the Northern Rivers. When I'm home - I love to have time to myself to journal, meditate, read and paint/draw. I can be found randomly practicing my handstands around the house, dancing to music or laying in the sun soaking up the simple joys of life. Some days I'll be turned inwards and intentionally having me time, and other days I'll be eager to connect and have a nourishing chat or play board games. I'm usually in bed by 10pm and up with the sun to make the most of the day. What I'm looking for in a home/housemates: Through trial and error I have realised the importance of living with aligned people! I'd love to share a house with somebody who is keen to connect and also respect privacy/down time as life calls for it, who takes pride in their home and wants to create a beautiful space/sanctuary to come home to, who works to minimise their waste and is aware of the impact their choices/consumption has on this world. Respect and clear, effective communication is a must, along with maturity to not take house related things personally. I am looking to live with non-smokers and cannot live with indoor pets due to allergies.

Hello!! ☺️ I’m Emma, 25 years old and have lived in Brisbane for a year and a half now. I moved up for work, as a Consultant working in the city. I tend to go to the office every day but also have flexibility to work from home which I like to do from time to time. I have spent six years in Canberra, living first on campus at university and then three years in various lovely share houses.
