I am looking to find someone to share a home with, where we share the costs and also a meal every now and then. I am neat and tidy and love a clean home. I am looking for a room in an already existing house. I am not too fussed on location as long it is the the east, or even south-east. I am open to someone with children, couples and even pets. I am looking for somewhere modern and in a safe area. I also already have a fair bit of appliances like a washing machine, fridge and my own bedroom furniture but okay to sell them if they are not needed. If I sound like someone you would like to live with or maybe catch up for a coffee to discuss further then send me a message :)
Trustworthy and reliable, always clean up after myself and happy to look after the place. I enjoy a bit of social time but also give other people space. Quiet person who is respectful of other members of the household. Currently looking for work but need to find somewhere to live whilst still looking. Enjoy going out to the footy, rugby league or cricket or a meal down the pub. Out most nights at training or meetings and weekends with sport.
The views, the views, the views. The thing most often said by visitors is, 'amazing views'. If you want a home that has a country feel but still 30mins drive to the city then this is the place. 3km to goldfields shopping plaza and the beautiful, swimmable Yarra River with all its walking and riding trails. The backyard has a BBQ, vege garden beds, a sweet shed great for outdoor parties in summer with views of a treed valley, Mt Dandenong and Kinglake. Roos graze in the paddock next door, there are sheep over the back fence and the neighbours are friendly. The house has a gas heater, wifi, ample parking, electric stove, microwave, tv, stereo and a garage workshop for those that like to tinker. The room itself is 3.3m x 4.1m with a wall of BIRs and large window.
I am from Hobart originally. Still love the place but am looking for some changes in scenery. I like to live quietly, so there will be no problems if that is what home advertisers are after, yet still have a curiosity for life and travel. I hope we can learn some things from each other if I'm given a chance and an open offering from house hosts.

Hi Future Housemates, I have a great house in mind for rental but Spencer and myself (and my 3yo boy who lives with me half the week) need one more person to make the ultimate share house. We are looking for someone who is willing to live in a smoke free meat free house in Warrandyte within walking distance to the Yarra and all its bike and walking trails. The house is 4br with the main br with ensuite needing you to live in it. Its a great house in a great location. Any age, gender, nationality is ok with us. We want a longterm arrangement. Contact us as this house is amazing.
I am friendly, tidy and easy going. Happy to live with animals, I'm quiet and like to spend time at home relaxing and I also enjoy going to the gym in my spare time. Budget: 100-160PW Max. Definately interesting in teaming up with a group for a rental :)
I am a friendly, but initially shy 28yr old with a love of the performing arts, a Pilates studio receptionist and temp worker and also studying natural therapies. I really enjoy running and hiking and love going on day trips with my pack on. I enjoy a community atmosphere and wish to interact with housemates and become friends, not just merely live with people you don't know. Would love to lived with those that share. Share food, share music, share stories, share experiences. I prefer a household without a TV, or at least not have it on all the time blaring nonsense. More than happy to enjoy some documentaries or some movies or Netflicks from time to time though! We can make our own entertainment! I used to live in the hills but moved into Thornbury to be closer to uni, but now wish to move back out again. I need the fresher air, the space, the trees and a calmer way of being. I'm looking for people who can think critically, are creative and expressive, incorporate spiritual practice into their lives and homes and are gentle souls. I like housemates to be considerate of others by cleaning up after themselves, not continually slamming doors and heavy stomping etc. Ask others if they would like anything from the shops if you are going, or offer to do someones dishes if they are running late. I am a vegetarian, but don't mind what other people's preferences are. It tends to be easier for people to look after their own shopping, but more than happy to chip in for veggie boxes in people do that, and definitely up for sharing dinners and baking experiments!! I don't have any pets, but am more than happy to move in somewhere that does have an animal or two! Any questions, ask away!! Thanks, Loz
I am looking for somewhere I can live and keep 1 horse. I am easy going, have 6+ years rental history in Toorak and Camberwell. Max 300/week. Don't have a move date- flexible. Currently renting and agisting the horse. Would prefer housemates aged 20-35.
I am looking for a quiet place to stay while I complete my last uni subject, a whole-term teaching internship in a primary school. I will be keeping to myself a lot due to the workload I will have. But I'm a really easygoing person who loves to have a laugh and I'm very friendly. I'm very neat and tidy and a bit of an obsessive cleaner!
Quiet but friendly female, working full time, studying part time. I'm fairly private, but do enjoy a chat. Tidy, self sufficient and will love your home as if it were my own. Due to my working/studying lifestyle looking for peaceful environment, not a party animal. In my spare time I enjoy walking, exploring, visiting family or relaxing with a movie/Netflix or book. Looking for min. 6 months accomodation, potentially longer.
Clean, respectful, reliable, honest, quiet living person, loves garden, pets, nature. I selected 4 months but I am hoping to find somewhere I can stay longer term, ideally, but I am also happy to look at shorter term options.
Hi there, looking for a fun place to live, I work full time and play football so I'm not home a lot. I can keep to myself or be a part of the going ons of the house. I'm clean and tidy
Easygoing non smoker. Healthy. Quiet. Gamer. I work in security, at night. Have 2 motorbikes and a mountain bike. Yes I go riding. Also a duel cab ute Saving to buy a unit with garage. I prefer to park off street. And a safe place for my bikes. At this stage I have no idea which suburb I want to move to. Somewhere near a trail track and a public pool.
Hi. I am looking for accommodation, minimum 3 months longer if possible. I am Irish and have been in Australia for 6 yrs now. Easy going, like to have a laugh and a chat but also respect having your own space. I work and study full time. Looking to move in at the end of July preferably.
The house my new housemate and I will share is in beautiful green surrounds, close to public transport and about 10 minutes from Eastlink via car. Very close to Eastland, parks, a running track, supermarkets and good cafes nearby. Have central heating, air conditioning, new carpet and freshly painted inside in all rooms. You'll have your own off street car space and access to a double garage. You'll also have your own bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom isn't an en suite but is located about 10 steps from your bedroom and includes your own bath, shower and vanity. I have my own en suite. I have a small back veranda overlooking a beautiful lush garden. There are 2 separate livings areas, the kitchen/family room and a lounge/dining room which are separated by doors. The room is available the first weekend in August and the rent of $160 per week does not include bills. Bills will be split equally between you and I and my preferred option is to charge a combined weekly rent/bills amount that does include everything.
A bit about me - my name is Alfonso, I'm 25, I work full time, study part time, and am a non smoker. I like paying my bills on time, I always clean after myself and I am more than happy to do my share of house duties. Looking to find a quiet place that's just mostly a place to chill after a long day at work/uni. Don't mind socialising on the weekends, maybe grab a beer or watch some TV with flatmates.
I'm a Brazilian musician/music teacher who just moved to Melbourne to take a course in Steiner Education. I love music and arts in general. Also happy to share meals and have some booze once in a while, but I need peace and privacy to keep my mind (and heart) focused on my career projects. I've been gigging with a few bands, volunteering in some cafes and restaurants to help people and gain experience in hospitality aiming at getting a job as soon as possible. I'm clean, tidy, reliable, and a curious person.
The house is a modern brick 3 bedroom + study, 2 bathrooms, has solar power, ducted heating (4 star efficiency) & evaporative cooling, backyard-great entertaining area with BBQ, off street parking, nestled in a quiet court location. Chirnside Park and Eastland shopping centre are only a 15 minute drive, with a local shopping strip that is only 5 mins away. As the house is a 3 bedroom dwelling, I am happy for the person to use the 3rd room as a study for themselves inclusive of the $180 a wk rent for the room on offer. There is a reserve at the end of the court with a lake that you can put a canoe on and when you go for a walk there, people mostly give you a warm greeting. Lovely to go and sit there on a bench and ponder the days events. It is furnished i.e. main appliances- cook top, oven, dishwasher which are stainless steel, fridge, microwave, washing machine, 42" flat screen with Netflix. However, if you have some furniture there is space for it. I am only looking to rent out one of the rooms, so you would really have your own bathroom and toilet. There are no onerous house rules, keep it tidy, come and go as you please like I do! Have just re-signed the lease for another 12 months, so provides stability for the right person.
Friendly and Relaxed Eltham home with lots of space. The house features a large open plan lounge/dining area and a seperate meals/kitchen. We have a fantastic deck with BBQ and tree top views and a nice size yard with small fire pit. The house is fully furnished Including a store room downstairs for bikes, surfboards, suitcases etc. On Offer is a very large bedroom with built in robe and access to the garden (see photos) It currently has a queen size bed and futon couch with coffee table but can be rented unfurnished if preferred.
My name is Ali, I'm 36 and a student. I'm currently obtaining my Diploma in Youth and Community Services. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. Here is my current situation: I am unhappy where I reside. Please don't get me wrong, the folks here are fantastic but it is incredibly expensive and it is isolated. I wish to be somewhere more centralised where public transport and amenities are more available, not to mention be closer to family and friends.
I'm 18 years old and graduated year 12 last year, not studying this year. I'm working 3 days a week with my dad, in a printing and packaging business, that he owns, as well as working at a bar in the city at night, for extra money. Starting my full time job as a medical receptionist August. I'm a very friendly and sporty girl. I play netball during the week. I'm easy to get along with, bubbly and outgoing. I am very clean an have OCD, so you won't need to worry about me being messy. Looking to move in ASAP
I know for sure I can't jump buildings in a single bound.I know when to be serious and when not to be. I'm a good listener and I can hold a conversation on just about any topic. My downside is that I have 2 cats who came into my position 5 yrs ago and never left so I guess I'm stuck with them
Hello all! My name is Janelle, 27, and working full time in dental nursing. I'm looking to hopefully team up with another female in my existing house or in a new house together! My week usually consists of working 5-6 days every week. My nights involve, gym (when I can be bothered), relaxing on the couch, binge watching Netflix, cooking dinner, having a nice glass of wine and maybe heading out for tea with my new housemate and some friends. I do have a boyfriend, who is super easy to get along with, and comes over most weekends and some nights during the week. Weekends, I enjoy, shopping, relaxing, cleaning, going on coffee and food dates, doing some day trips, trying out new wineries, going to watch my doggies play and also watching the bf play. I love living in a clean and tidy house, I'm not the best cook going around, but I don't mind sharing the cooking. I understand everyone needs there alone and down time and I completely respect that, as I need mine too. I love pets, I'm a dog lover, unfortunately I'm allergic to cats. (Sorry to all those who own cats) This is basically Me in a nutshell!! If you think you could team up with me, shoot me a message. I look forward to hearing from you! Xx
Self employed... Just started my tafe course.. Any chance i get in outside.. In the 4wd On the motorbike.. I live a pretty relaxed chilled life... Way over the party scene.. Busy on the weekends just adventuring... Work in the city..
I keep myself busy working as an apprentice electrician, doing two nights a week at a pizza shop as well as djing in and around Melbourne on weekends. Always up for a chat and to lend a hand. Will enjoy a beer or two and will respect personal space and being neat and tidy.
I am quiet and respectful, I am social but also private, I am committed to yoga so I don't drink or smoke, I am considerate ,very conscious of considering others especially in the pm hours or early morning,. Friendly and conversational, play tennis twice a week, studying a BA currently. seeking similar housemates. im easy going but weary of noise levels and expect the same, not interested in living in a house where endless visitors are coming through for obvious reasons. common courtesy and respect is how I work and expect the same. the rest is a breeze. prefer own bathroom! thanks.
Im a qualified landscaper and from melbourne. Im very social and quite easy to live with but like anyone i keep to myself at times. i love meeting new people and always make an effort to get along with everyone. I dont really like conflict and i believe compromising is the ticket to sharehouse success. I like to help anyone when i can so asking me for a favour is more than ok. I like to keep things neat and tidy but im no clean freak mopping floors every 30min. I like to keep busy so handyman jobs are my go to at home, especially outside. I enjoy socialising, travelling, camping, skiing, anything sport related, keeping fit, hitting the local for a few drinks. I own a 3y/o german shephard who loves company of others, very friendly, chases flies all day and well trained.
I work full time and play golf at the weekends. I'm a print room supervisor at a private school. I enjoy cooking and tidy up after myself. I am equally happy to have a beer and a chat or spend time on my own. I enjoy watching sport and documentaries on tv. I like to live in a clean house and will happily do my share of the chores.
I have shared houses all over the world and enjoy life to the full. I am quiet, respectful and easy to live with. I have a full life and really love my home to be a place of rest and harmony. I have many interests including exploring nature, having fun and making the most of every day. Please drop me a line or give me a bell if you have a room or a granny flat that would suit me.
Hi, LOOKING FOR A HOME URGENTLY... I AM VERY EASY TO LIVE WITH AND HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOUR... I am looking for a nice relaxed place to live, I would like my own bathroom if possible and I am very flexible with the location I am more interested in having a home rather than just a room. I am a writer/director working on the third draft of an Aussie Comedy hoping to shoot the film early 2018, I am in the process of raising the budget. I am a clean tidy considerate person who has a great sense of humour, I like a laugh a meal and a glass of wine, but I also value my space and give you yours, I also pay my bills and rent on time. At the moment I will be writing from home hence a study or my own lounge, or even granny flat or studio would be helpful but not a deal breaker as I am looking for an office this year. I am studying film editing on final cut pro. I do have a 11 year old WELL TRAINED AND LOVED DOG AND A LITTLE BLACK CAT so it's important that they have a little space and are safe. I am flexible with moving dates. Cheers Peita:)
