HI All potential Flatmates!! Private Room for 1 person preferably a girl as I would prefer to live in all girls house hold :) I have spacious bedroom for rent in great apartment in heart of Waverton. The bedroom is furnished but may be a bit flexible with some furnishings if needed. The best would be to come and inspect to see it yourself as pictures never do the justice :) The apartment is the top floor level apartment so it is really private and it feels like a small-town house like. There are fantastic water views from the apartment and HUGE terrace. Little about the Waverton: Only 4 kilometers north of the Sydney CBD, the residential suburb with fantastic train connection to the CBD, North Sydney, Chastwood and more. It only takes minutes to get to CBD Waverton is beautifully green, safte area. Enjoy stunning views of Sydney Harbour, Waverton has a village-like collection of shops, several restaurants and cafes, cross fit center around its railway station. Balls Head Reserve, is a great picnic destination especially when there are harbour fireworks which make it the perfect destination for the New Years Eve in Sydney The apartment is conveniently located close by the Waverton train station so it is super easy to get to anywhere. I actually walk to the CBD often. The overall apartment is really spacious with open plan separate living with two sofas and dining space. There are few cafes and supermarket as well as cross fit gym within seconds walk from the apartment. So you will have everything you need. I can be a bit flexible with move in date for the right flatmates Please contact me for inspections so we can meet and talk. Parking available on request
A furnished (can be unfurnished) room in a cute three-bedroom cottage is available on a short-term or long-term, two blocks from the train, with the 265 bus stop across the street. You can get to Wynyard in 15 minutes from your front door if you time it right. It's in a freestanding house/cottage with a small front yard, backyard and private deck. (Message me and I'll send you a link to a Youtube clip of it - I can't include a URL in this profile ) There's also a friendly black cat who lives here with me and one other guy. Interested in someone who would see the flat as a sanctuary, rather than a spot for regularly entertaining guests. There's a cafe two doors down, a couple of restaurants and shops at the train station (2 minutes walk), and a tiny wee beach and a lovely marina a half block away and down some steps. Rent $300/week, including bills. Or $360 for couples. There's plenty of off-street parking, not that you necessarily need it with the train so close. I haven't bothered to get a residential parking permit ($52/year and available online) as there's a street nearby where you don't need it. The room has a bed, a small table, a sofa and a wardrobe.... really everything you need.
Fully furnished room in a stunning, spacious apartment with a breathtaking view spanning the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Harbour. Darling Harbour fireworks can be seen from the window every weekend. Surrounded by parklands, it is ideally located footsteps away from Waverton station, which is only three stops from Wynyard. • Footsteps to Waverton Station, and fifteen-minute walk to North Sydney • Room with built-in wardrobe and a large window with Harbour views • Shared bathroom • Fully-equipped kitchen and living room • 50" TV with home theatre, NetFlix and AppleTV • Laundry • Bills included (water, electricity, gas, unlimited internet usage) • Bond: 3 weeks of rent • Minimum term: 3 months For inspections, please message Eric
Spacious recently renovated apartment in a very convenient and quiet location - 5 mins walk from Waverton station (10 mins train journey to city). One bedroom available, furnished with double bed, study desk and built-in-wardrobe. The apartment is very comfortable and has been refurbished recently with a spacious living room and balcony.
Lovely modern 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in the beautiful Wondakiah development. Beautiful resort-style living 365 days a year! Just two bedrooms used - max 2 people sharing apartment as one bedroom is retained as office/study area available for use by both parties. All rooms have built-in robes. There is a balcony for entertaining which has sweeping views across the grounds and across the surrounding expanse of bushland. Undercover security parking available plus storage. This development has very tranquil grounds and gardens which flow right down to the harbour’s edge. There is a heated indoor pool and spa, a gym and sauna, 2 outdoor pools and 4 floodlit tennis courts. These facilities come included in the price. Located just 4 minutes walk from Waverton Train station, shops and cafes. Close to North Sydney (3 mins by train) and the City - just 9 mins into the CBD.
Our place is spacious, fun and has a great view of the city. We have our own internal laundry, storage area in the garage and a large balcony and living area that's great for having friends around. The place is furnished, so you would just need to bring what you need for your own bedroom. We also have a little BBQ, lots of plants, games and pretty much a library's worth of books. There's also a park out the back and a few pubs in walking distance. The room has a large built in wardrobe, en suite, fresh white walls and views of the Harbour Bridge. It measures 3.9m by 3.4m. It's 5 minutes walk to Waverton train station and 10 minutes walk to North Sydney and Crows Nest.
Looking to start a new lease with someone. I've previously had my own place so have most of furniture, appliances, utensils, cutlery, etc. Would love to team-up with someone that is looking to make a place an inviting and fun space to come home to. I'm really house pride, so would like to live with someone like-minded. I would like to look for a place to live like a home. I work full time in North Sydney. I am laid back, friendly and respectful with a great sense of humour. I am a clean responsible person and expect the same from you. I like to read books, watch movies(not TV), going out with friends. I like cooking and baking and also I am learning guitar. My weekends always vary but I love staying social, so tend to be in and out a lot. I like to learn new languages so if you are keen to teach your language and tell me about your country's culture that would be a plus. Also I own an XBOX and a few games like FIFA, GTA etc. but I rarely play by my own. So if you like console games we could play sometimes.
I work as a Marketing Director during the day. In my down time I like to play tennis and squash, explore beaches and walks around Sydney, enjoy a decent wine (or gin!), like to socialise and (I won't lie...) occasionally slob on the sofa to watch movies :) I am clean, tidy and respectful of your privacy. I'm a non smoker and have no pets. Looking anywhere, either on a train line to North Sydney or close by, with down to earth people who are not crazy party animals however don’t mind having the odd beer together, failing as a team at a trivia night, or occasionally going on an adventure somewhere at the weekends with each other. I’d rather live with house “mates” than just rent a room with strangers :) I can move in whenever and flexible on budget for the right place. Looking to stay long term in the right place, but a minimum of 6 months ideally, as moving house is a pain!
I’m very easy going and know how to keep things simple. I’m moving to be closer to uni and work. I go to the gym a lot and I’m not much of a party animal though I do like trying new restaurants!
I work full time at the McDonald's Head Office in Marketing. I have a 2 year old Cavoodle who will accompany me. Im 34 years old, i like surfing, 70s-90s rock music, the gym, hiking and travelling. Not much of a partier anymore, but do love a few glasses of wine and checking out new restaurants and cafes around Sydney. Looking for likeminded people who wouldnt mind sharing a place with a cute Cavoodle.
I am a 27 year old scientist looking for something long term. I dance, I run and I read a lot. I am super busy during the week and generally keep to myself at home. I am respectful of the privacy of others, but also love good chats over a cup of tea. I'd love to live with one or two other single professionals. Strong preference for somewhere on the train line or walkable to North Sydney (Crows Nest would be absolutely ideal!). I definitely don't want to live in a party house, but would like to have a friend or two visit from time to time. Please contact me if you have any questions or you think we could be a good fit! *Move date is flexible, so please feel free to reach out :)
Hi, we are a married couple from Poland and we're moving to Australia in the middle of October. We are friendly and easy-going. We are planning to work full time so we're not looking for a party house. We love travelling, jogging and eating. On the weekends we usually go out or stay at home watching films.
Hi, I’m Katherine and I’m 30. I love going to the gym, pub trivia, cooking and travelling. I work full time in Wynyard as a genealogical researcher for intestate estates (if you’ve got a rich uncle who has died without a will, I’m the one who figures out who his heirs are and then finds you). I’m a non-smoker, no pets and I’m very clean and tidy. I’m looking to move into a new place on 20 October. Please don’t contact me unless that date is within a few days of what works for you too.
My name is Shae - I moved from Melbourne to Sydney a year ago. I work full time (regular hours) as well as studying a health science degree part time online - so I tend to be quite busy and keep to myself during the week (mostly because i'm on my laptop in my room studying after work throughout the week). I keep myself active and enjoy going to the gym bright and early before work most mornings. I am a social person but also enjoy my own downtime and respect others personal space. I am an average cook (getting better) but a GREAT cleaner and love to keep organised! Very easy-going, friendly and considerate. I have an extremely affectionate, loving and playful Ragdoll teenage cat (5 months old) named Harvey. He is an extremely sweet boy who loves being around people. He stays indoors only and is perfectly toilet trained - really, he has never missed... ever!
My name's Janine, I'm 26 and Canadian! I've been living in Sydney for the past 2 years and just got back from visiting home for 2 months, I moved out of my last place before leaving so I need a new place to call home! Hoping to move in somewhere near the city as that is where my work is based. I work full time mon-fri, earlier hours. I like to cook and have a casual drink and chat but also like my space. I work early hours so my weekday evenings are usually enjoyed relaxing and taking it easy. My weekends are spent out and about doing outdoor activities. Hoping to move somewhere by the end of month or beginning of Oct for about 4- 6 months possibly longer if it's the right fit! Cheers.
Late twenties professional, working 8-5 in the city. I am looking for a place to call home, with a friendly atmosphere but not a party house. I like yoga, dancing, painting, travelling, going to the gym and more. as a flatmate Im considerate and communicative :)
Hi my name is Matt. I am from Melbourne but am relocating up to Sydney for work for 3 months, and looking for a short term rental for up to 12 weeks from 1st October til 22nd December (flexible dates if full 3 month rental not available. Happy to relocate. After a month or 2) I have previously lived in Sydney. I'm a working professional in TV production. Office based in McMahons Point, I will be working 5-6 days a week and be travelling back and forth to Melbourne on certain weekends. I am married so need to factor my wife coming to visit a couple of times over the 3 month period TBC but I can source alternate accomodation at those times as we may do weekend trips away. I'm very social, but I also work long hours and happy to keep to my own to suit housemate and I like my own space.
