Hi everybody,
My name is Luca. I am 45 years old, originally from Italy, and I have lived in Australia since 2012.
I have recently returned to Australia after spending approximately one year in Italy helping to care for my elderly parents. I am currently staying in temporary accommodation in Moreton Bay, but the property is no longer suitable. I am therefore looking for a comfortable and peaceful home for myself and my dog, Nara, preferably on the Gold Coast, where I lived for four years before temporarily returning to Italy.
Nara is a beautiful four-year-old Border Collie. She is desexed, extremely obedient, friendly and affectionate, and she is accustomed to living as part of the family. She has been professionally trained and, while in Italy, also worked as a scent-detection dog, searching for contaminated meat. She is very important to me, so I am looking for a genuinely dog-friendly home where we can both feel welcome.
I work in education as a trainer, assessor and consultant, and I am also a qualified chef, so I enjoy preparing my own meals 😊 I am currently re-establishing myself in Australia following the end of a 14-year relationship and actively looking for my next professional position.
Although I am currently between jobs, I have sufficient savings to cover the rent and take my financial commitments very seriously. I am responsible and reliable, and I previously rented a house in Reedy Creek for two and a half years. I can provide my rental ledger as evidence of my payment history.
I am open to a room with an ensuite, a granny flat, studio, self-contained area or another suitable type of accommodation. I would ideally like to stay for at least a few months, with the possibility of remaining much longer if the arrangement works well for everyone.
If sharing, I would prefer to live with mature people who value a clean, tidy and well-maintained home. Cleanliness is very important to me: I naturally look after the place where I live and actively contribute to keeping it in good condition.
I am sociable and enjoy a friendly conversation, but at home I appreciate a relaxed and peaceful environment where everyone respects each other’s privacy and needs. I do not take drugs, I drink only occasionally, and I enjoy cooking, walking and spending time with Nara.
