Hi, I’m John, and I’m currently looking for a new place to call home in Brisbane.

I’m a hardworking, easy-going and cheerful guy who is considerate of the people around me. I’m clean, respectful and enjoy having a friendly relationship with the people I live with. I’m also pretty uncomplicated — I appreciate a comfortable home, a bit of peace and quiet, and good company.

My current flatmates are looking to move shortly, so I’m getting organised early and hoping to find somewhere suitable before the last-minute rush. I’ve also decided not to stay on because the property next door is about to be demolished and replaced with a new double-storey building. As I currently work from home in insurance, the construction noise would make working from home very difficult.

Outside of work, I enjoy getting outdoors, going for walks and hikes, cycling, swimming and exploring Brisbane. I also enjoy meeting new people, having a good conversation and making new friends.

I don’t smoke or drink, and I’m respectful of other people’s space and routines. Ultimately, I’m just looking for a comfortable, welcoming home with good people where everyone can feel relaxed and respected.

Moving can be stressful, but I’m approaching it positively and hoping to find somewhere that feels like a good fit.
