Emily and Jasmin

Jasmin (29) , Emily (33) and Freddie (3 choccy Lab) are in need of short term accomodation while our bathroom is out of action. 


We have a full renovation happening which keeps getting delayed, and has left us without a working toilet or shower for the last 3 weeks.

We have been jumping between airbnb’s, and had Freddie at a dogsitters but we can’t afford to keep this up.

We are housesitting for a friend until the 2nd of Jan. But looking to find something for a couple of weeks or longer after that, as we doubt anything will progress with the bathroom over the Christmas and new year period.

Jas works full time in Diversity and Inclusion for a government org. 3 days in the office and 2 from home. I am a support worker, doing 3-5 hour shifts 4 days a week, one overnight shift a week and sometimes work a few hours on the weekend.

Jas plays cricket and is out 1-2 evenings a week at training and Sunday afternoons for matches.
We cook at home 4-5 nights a week, enjoy watching a show, reading, doing a puzzle. On weekends we like going out to eat good food, drink coffee, and explore markets and op shops.
We also love sport, especially women’s cricket, footy, soccer.


Freddie the doggo is a super sweet guy. We walk him morning and evening so that he is as chill as possible throughout the day and night. He is used to living in an apartment, so very well house trained and doesn’t need much space. He loves to stretch out and snore away all day long. A yard or courtyard would be ideal in a share house environment, if you don’t vibe with a dog inside too much. He sleeps indoors in his crate at night and is content being left in the house or backyard while we are out during the day. He loves to play with both humans and other dogs and is always up for a cuddle, pat, brush or his favourite a towel dry.

We know our options are limited with a dog and with only requiring a short stay, but if you think you can accomodate us we promise we will be great housemates! We have lived in share houses for many years before moving in with each other 3 years ago. We know the protocol well, and are happy to have conversations about expectations and preferences whilst we are living in a shared space with you. We appreciate clean and neat communal areas and will always clean up after ourselves when we cook and use the bathroom and lounge area.
