Hello! My name is Bernadette and I'm 38 years old and have been living in Melbourne for nearly 9 years, since mid-2017. I'm originally from Sydney, but moved to Perth with my parents when I was very young and grew up there!

For the last 6 years I have been self-employed, working primarily as a marketing content creator for visual artists, before opening my own online art gallery in September, 2025! Prior to this I worked for 20 years in both the retail and residential building industries.

Since I've lived in Melbourne, I lived in a number of different rentals in a few different areas, namely Coburg, Sunshine West and currently in Point Cook. I'm now looking for a place closer to the city, within a 10-12km radius of the city, preferably on the north, east or south sides.

I am very well suited to renting and living with others, having done it for about 16 years now. I am tidy, conscientious and have good rental references I can provide. In addition to seeking a place closer to the city, I'm looking for a rental that is shared with one or two other tenants, and would prefer a furnished room. I'm more than happy to share a bathroom and other living areas with other tenants.
